[IC] Supernatural Life on the Street

As the sun rose over the city Roxy headed from home. When she moved to town she had searched out places to stay. Being a young woman on the streets was dangerous enough without sleeping out in the open. She wondered through the rough side of town until she found an abandoned apartment building that was in reasonably good condition. The place was trashed but the building was stable and that was all she needed. She could clean and fix it up with time. With her night's work done Roxy slowly made her way to home.

Blue hummed to himself happily as he walked down the streets of the city without a care. He had gotten half a pizza out of a trash can, so he was full for the day. For now he roamed around without a goal, for life in the city was simple for him. He would not talk to anyone unless he was talked to, for he tried trying to talk to someone and that did not work out well. City people can be jerks, but he was ok with. But deep inside himself he wished someone was not a jerk, someone he could trust.

Donny was on the run. No good deed goes unpunished here, though this stemmed for from a big misunderstanding. "How was I suppose to know she was a damn vampire..." it all started when Donny was, as usual, looking for a job in the city. And as usually, he was either turned away at the door or given a number that he knew they would never call on. As he mindlessly wondered through an alley, he saw a lone woman resounded by a gang of armed and armored men. Fairy Tale logic would have told onlookers that this women was being assaulted by a gang of bullies, and believing that, Donny intervened and allowed the woman enough time to flee... As a swarm of bats. Turns out she was a vampire who had been feeding off the children of the armored men, and allowing her to escape means that she could continue her reign of terror longer. The men were going to turn Donny in for his foolishness and tried to escape, cutting to now. He was running from three of the men, the other two who have seemed to disappear, either to continue their hunt for the vampire or to trap Donny. And despite the men wearing fully plate armor, they were quite able to keep on Donny's trail, his only advantage beings his mobility. He tried to do such things as climb fences, scale walls, and take large jumps, but his pursuers had mundane means of keeping up (breaking through the fences, going around walls, and using objects to make bridges). If he couldn't figure out some way to lose them definitely, he knew that he'd have a fight on his hands, one that he wasn't in any particular advantage of.

Blue continued to roam the city until he heard the sound of running. "Hmm?" Blue exclaimed as he turned around. The sight of Donny running towards him alone was enough to scare him, as he thought the orc was going to attack. "Wahhhhhh ha ha ha!" Blue screamed as he jumped out of the way and hid behind a box. He heard the sound of running grow and fade, giving Blue the thought that things were ok. Blue then got out from behind the box. "Hoo! Oh yeah. Ha ha!" He exclaimed. But unfortunately he did not know the man in armor was behind him. "Ack!" Blue exclaimed as the man ran into him from behind. The man did not expect an elf to come up in front of him like that, and his armor made it imposable to avoid him. Both of them were knocked to the ground, allowing Donny to get away.

Roxy laught when she saw the elf fall. Not because he fel, she wasnt that cruel. But because if the surprised look on both his and the Orc's face. Roxy would have approached the elf had he not run. She night have been able to catch him if she took the shadows but the Orc looked lik he needed help. She wasnt the sort to help people without a reason but she knew how hard lif on the streets could be. "Are you alright?"

Donny was running, dodging obstacles, including one elf who nearly blindsided him. Lucky for Donny the elf ended up blindsiding one of the knights. Donny paused to see what happened, and a girl approached him. She seemed.... Oddly inviting, for some reason. He shook these thoughts off to respond to her. "Just peachy... But I still gotta run." Donny noted two other knights who simply leap over their fallen friend, who himself was getting up and getting ready to continue the chase. "Curses..." Little did he knew the knights were about to corner Donny, as if he kept running through this alley he'd find himself in a area that was blocked off by fences and junk, with the only way out being the same way he came in.

"Agh! Get off of me you idiot!" Blue shouted. He then pushed the knight off him rudely, who did not take it very well. Once Blue got up the kight tried to strike him with his sword, but Blue saw this. He avoided the swing and grabbed the knights arm, swinging him towards the road. And then at that moment a huge truck came and turned the knight into a road pizza, giving a comical honk before then. "You don't... f***... with elves." Blue said. He then started to walk down the road again, ignoring what just happened.

Roxy know the neighborhood well enough to know that the Orc was about to get himself trapped. Once She would have walked away. It wasnt her problem. But having lived on her own for the last six months. She knew she couldn't just walk away. She stepped into the shadows and waited for the Orc. She waited until the knights had completely surrounded him before pulling him into the shadows. "Don't move."

When Donny reached the dead end he tried to turn around to escape, but the two knights already cornered him. They drew their weapons and slowly approached Donny. "Surrender yourself peacefully, or face swift justice, here and now." Of course Donny wasn't going to surrender. He'd never give up to guys like these, even if ti meant dying. He stepped back trying to make space between him and the knights, who themselves were slowly and cautiously approaching. When he was surrounded, Donny smirked. "Cornered from all sides... Poor bastards." But before he could react, Donny was pulled into the darkness, something that's never happened to him before. He lashed out to attack, but a voice called out to him. "Don't move." She said. It was a soothing voice, familiar, and for some reason Donny decided to listen. He really hoped this wasn't the vampire from before, unless she plans to thank him by saving him, though it begs to question why she didn't do this in the first place so save him the trouble. But before he would stay still, hoping that this isn't a trick.

The knights began searching the alley. Roxy knew that they weren't going to go away and leave the Orc alone. Which meant that there was only one thing to do. Roxy stepped out of the shadows. She stayed close enough to them to jump back in if she needed to. "Ok big boys why are we tracking the Orc?" The knights of course stopped what they were sound. They stared at Roxy in a mixture of surprise and lust. She rolled her eyes at them. She was still dressed in her work clothes, which consisted of a skin tight black leather dress the showed pretty much everything she had to offer. Finally the knights snapped out of there lustful thoughts. "He helped an evil vampire escape."

Somehow the knight's armor allowed him to survive getting hit by the truck with only minor injuries. "You idiots... get the elf! He's helping them!" He shouted. Blue's pupils shrunk down when he heard this. "Uh oh!" He exclaimed.

The Knights in the alley way turned their attention to the mysterious female. One of the knights ogled her form and figure, but the other younger knight knew better than to fall for her charms, the same one the vampire tried to employ onto them before. When he noticed his companion falling for the woman's willies, the young knight lightly slapped his companion on the back of the head. "Oi! Snap out of it! Yes, we're hunting a vampire who has been preying on our children, and that orc recently allowed her escape. We are going to capture him and turn him into the local authorities so that we may continue our pursuit of the treacherous bitch and ensure that next time, no wannabe hero stands in the way of justice!" Donny, who was still hidden in the shadows but had no way of actually escaping said shadow, wanted to come out and try to defend himself verbally but once again he had no means to escape the shadows and was practically stuck there at the mercy of the rather alluring female, whom he could only assume may be the one who saved him/put him in this participant.

The other knight who the elf attempted to murder tried to order his fellow knights to give chance, but the other two ignored him. Seeing that the elf was already getting away and that they have already cornered the orc (As far as he knew) the knight also gave up chasing the elf and ran over, inadvertently flanking Donny's savior. Once again his innate heroic instincts told him that she was in trouble, but before he did anything rash he did think the same when he had inadvertently saved a child-harming vampire, so perhaps he should not be so quick to trust his instincts, as they seem to serve him little good in recent events. "Who are you and why are you here, milady?" Said the youngest of the knight, the only one who seems to be able to ignore the woman's passive seduction.

"Ahhhh ha ha!" Blue shouted as he ran off. He then looked back and noticed no knights were chasing him, and he thought he out ran them. "I... I won!" Blue shouted happily. With happy thoughts in his head, the young elf went off, almost forgeting about the entire thing.

Soulless woke up his eyes Swiveled to look down at people arguing under his Metal Platform. "For Christs Sake Not those idiots again" Noticing the Knights he Laughed Sadisticaly as he Jumped of his metal platform Onto one of the knights Shoulders With a soft Audible Crunch. "what did i say About Coming around here again" He Whispered to Knight With the Now Broken Shoulder Soulless turned to the other knights His eyes Seemed to blazing with the Thought of murder "If you IDIOTS remember who i am You will leave this allyway now before i slaughter each one of you as painfully as i can. They Turned and waited outside of the allyway without arguement... Soulless Entered the Light So he could get a good view at the other side. His Blood red hair Changing color to a oak brown and his eyes losing their crimson black color as his cloths Changed to white and became lighter. He turned and Faced The Woman WIth the black hair He spoke without any of the malevolence seen earlier "What are you doing here?" he asked reasonably

His Blood red hair Changing color to a oak brown and his eyes losing their crimson black color as his cloths Changed to white and became lighter. He turned and Faced The Woman WIth the black hair He spoke without any of the malevolence seen earlier "What are you doing here?" he asked reasonably

"Trying to help. But I guess I shouldn't have bothered." Roxy said. She reached into the shadows and pull Donny out of them. "I don't think the nights will be bothering you for awhile you should be more careful who you safe."

Donny watched as some evil-looking dude came out of no one and crushed one of the knights, scaring off the rest. Than the girl pulled him out of the shadows and warned him about who he saves next time. "Yeah... Thanks. Why'd you save me though, if you don't mind me asking? You aren't going to try to kill me, are you?"

i don't think the other me meaned to save you... more likely attack you or kill you. but he entered the light so my personality took control. But i guess if he wants to talk to you i could step back in the shadow for you to talk to him... Soulless asked Thinking they were Criminal's "maybe the other me could sort them out" he thought

"No I'm not going to kill you." Roxy answered. She was tired and still had a long way to get home. Maybe she would take the shadows home. "I simply know what it's like to be on the streets on your own."

"Thanks but that's alright. Just tell yourself thanks. He probably saved me a fight. Weather he meant up or not." Roxy told the guy who had changed

Strange folk, but decent. Even those knights, as much trouble as they gave him, were only looking out for their family. Shame about the dead guy that creepy fellow killed though. Donny hoped the guy was a jerk so he won't feel to guilty about the fact he's dead, and as Donny walked past the corpse, knicked his sword. "Well, thank you for the assist. I'm sorry if I've caused you any trouble, I'll just be on my way now..." Strapping the simply steel sword onto his belt Donny began to leave the alley.

" Soulless Replied to the Girl. he clutched his stomach the hunger being quite painful He looked at them both Sheepishly "do either of you have food i can pay you for it"? his eyes seemed to remain staring at the ugly boy he was not human "that makes 2 of us" he said whispering under his breath. Then he smiled "is there anything i can help you with"
