Depends on the character you have in mind. If it is something different to what we already have in the line up, then yes. I would like a System insider too!

Carter Michael Sharpe

Weapon:
A small shiv that he crafted with two broken pieces of metal held together by scotch tape. One piece is sharp and used as the blade, the other used as a handle.

Estimated Age:
Mid-30s.

Personality:
Carter is nothing short of an argumentative hothead. He is quick to be hostile to those that stand in the way of any of his goals, no matter how small they may be. Whenever he thinks up a plan it’s almost always half-assed and requires a lot of improvisation to execute. He’ll often dive into situations with too much confidence, usually resulting in a negative result (especially if he’s on his own). Carter has too much pride to swallow. He will never apologize, even if he knows that he’s done wrong by someone. He’s not the most honest man and will not hesitate to trick and lie to others if it benefits him. He will often make promises he knows he cannot keep, not concerned with future consequences.
Although he is very confrontational, he has a soft spot for animals and children. Carter is an empathetic man when not going off on a temper tantrum. He always looks out for the well-being of his son, Henry (nicknamed “Rainy”), but is often distant on a personal level. He justifies his emotional neglect to his son by assuming it will make him stronger and more prepared to deal with the obstacles of this harsh world. When Carter manages to make a friend he is loyal and keeps them close. He’ll always thrive for the approval and respect of his allies and son when calm. He is strong-willed, accepting most challenges thrown at him. Carter will take on any task that presents itself to him if he has the slimmest chance of succeeding. Carter has been at Barrowside almost his whole life and is desperate to get himself and his son out of there.

Brief Background:
Carter came to Barrowside with his father when he was in his early teens. His mother died giving birth to him and his father was a drunk. Although he never suffered physical abuse, the verbal beatings received from his father have taken their toll on him and are a factor in his obsession with approval from his peers. His father died in a construction accident, Carter didn’t attend the funeral. He met his partner Amanda when she immigrated to Barrowside and after about a year of partnership they had their son: Henry “Rainy” Sharpe. When Rainy reached the age of 4, Amanda passed away from work injury.

Misc:
Carter has a slight southern accent, which was picked up from his father. He loathes The System and blames them for his wife's death.

With regards to the Titanpad and collab posts, this only needs to be done between two players. When it comes to group discussion, posts need to be done in here, not together or else there wouldn't really be much point of having a thread.

While this is of course up to our GM I'd say I don't think it's too late to join but as has been said to previous people as long as the character isn't something we've already got in our little group. Hope this helps a bit. :)

Pretty much. If you can create a character that we don't already have and in a job we don't already have. Then you're fine to join in.

My son has been a bit needy, think his back teeth are coming through so I haven't been too active. And my boyfriend is being a bit of a dick, grrr. So sorry for the absence. I will post later, and have Mina explain it all.
