Haven City, a world where magic and Machines meet. The year is 1900 A.D and the Orcish invasions of Haven are becoming more frequent. The troops are being expended
in very large amounts as the Orcish invaders blast through them with there new and shiny weapons. The people of Haven have guns but they are not as powerful and they do not have enough to kill all the Orcs. The walls will soon fall, says MOX news. You are the cities last hopes, will you take the reigns and destroy the enemy or will you die trying. Warriors chosen for this job. From priests to criminals the army has been made.

Bio : Esmeralda was born on the Isle of Emeralds sometimes known as the lost Isle due to it's existing in this world for only 7 days every 28 )ears.
When she first appeared in this world 20 years ago she looked as she dose now. An has seemed not to have aged even a day since. (In reality she ages 1 in 10 years)
She was a wanderer for 10 years before coming to Haven and opening a Tavern/Brothel. Her establishment serves to not only provide her with an income but with young women an men to train in her various arts and become her coven circle.
The name of her Tavern is "The Golden Lioness" inside she serves good meals and drink at reasonable prices.
Her body servants are well trained and free of any bad blood. Even the Lady herself can be had at a price and approval.
Special Weapons : Esmeralda uses no conventional weapons instead relying on two 50 foot animated ropes that are stronger than any Python and faster than a Cobra.
She instead uses spells and magical devices
Spells :

Air Walk

Air Walk
She can tread on air as if walking on solid ground. Moving upward is similar to walking up a hill. The maximum upward or downward angle possible is 45 degrees, at one-half her normal speed.
A strong wind (21+ mph) can push her along or hold her back.
Should she loose concentration the spell will expire while still aloft, the magic fails slowly and floats down like a feather.
Since dispelling a spell effectively ends it, she also descends in this way if the air walk spell is dispelled, but not if it is negated by an antimagic field.
She can cast air walk on a specially trained mount so it can be ridden through the air. She can train a mount to move with the aid of air walk with one week of work.

Arcane Sight

Arcane Sight
This spell makes her eyes glow blue and allows her to see magical auras within 120 feet of her location. The effect is similar to that of a detect magic spell, but arcane sight does not require concentration and discerns aura location and power more quickly.

Enthrall

Enthrall
If she has the attention of a group of creatures with a spoken common or shared language, she can use this spell to hold them spellbound. To cast the spell, she must speak or sing without interruption for a minute or so . Thereafter, those affected give her their undivided attention, ignoring their surroundings. They are considered to have an attitude of friendly while under the effect.

Fog Cloud

Fog Cloud
A bank of fog billows out from the point she designates. The fog obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature within 5 feet has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker can’t use sight to locate the target).
A moderate wind (11+ mph) disperses the fog in 4 rounds; a strong wind (21+ mph) disperses the fog.

Freezing Sphere

Freezing sphere creates a frigid globe of cold energy that streaks from her fingertips to the location she selects, where it explodes in a 10-foot-radius burst, dealing cold damage to each creature in the area.
If the freezing sphere strikes a body of water or a liquid that is principally water (not including water-based creatures), it freezes the liquid to a depth of 6 inches over an area equal to 100 square feet Creatures that were swimming on the surface of frozen water become trapped in the ice.
She can refrain from firing the globe after completing the spell, if she wishes. Treating it as a touch spell for which she is holding the charge.

Gust of Wind

Gust of Wind
This spell creates a severe blast of air (approximately 50 mph) that originates from her, affecting all creatures in its path.
A Tiny or smaller creature on the ground is knocked down and rolled. If flying, a Tiny or smaller creature is blown back 10-60 feet and takes nonlethal damage due to battering and buffeting.
Small creatures are knocked prone by the force of the wind, or if flying are blown back 10-30 feet.
Medium creatures are unable to move forward against the force of the wind, or if flying are blown back 5-20 feet.
Large or larger creatures may move normally within a gust of wind effect.
Any creature, regardless of size, is at a penalty on ranged attacks and Listen checks in the area of a gust of wind are near impossible.
The force of the gust automatically extinguishes candles, torches, and similar unprotected flames. It causes protected flames, such as those of lanterns, to dance wildly and has a 50% chance to extinguish those lights.
In addition to the effects noted, a gust of wind can do anything that a sudden blast of wind would be expected to do. It can create a stinging spray of sand or dust, fan a large fire, overturn delicate awnings or hangings, heel over a small boat, and blow gases or vapors to the edge of its range.

Magic Missile

Magic Missile
A missile of magical energy darts forth from her fingertip and strikes its target, dealing damage equal to a thrown dagger but nonlethal.
The missile strikes unerringly, even if the target is in melee combat or has less than total cover or total concealment. Specific parts of a creature can’t be singled out. Inanimate objects are not damaged by the spell.
Magic users hit by this spell lose concentration on any spell they had active or were casting.

Reverse Gravity

Reverse Gravity
This spell reverses gravity in an area, causing all unattached objects and creatures within that area to fall upward and reach the top of the area or 30 ft.. If some solid object (such as a ceiling) is encountered in this fall, falling objects and creatures strike it in the same manner as they would during a normal downward fall. If an object or creature reaches the top of the area without striking anything, it remains there, oscillating slightly, until the spell ends. At the end of the spell duration, affected objects and creatures fall downward.
Provided it has something to hold onto, a creature caught in the area can attempt a Reflex save to secure itself when the spell strikes. Creatures who can fly or levitate can keep themselves from falling.

Shield

Shield
Shield creates an invisible, tower shield-sized mobile disk of force that hovers in front of you. It negates magic missile attacks directed at her. This applies against incorporeal touch attacks, since it is a force effect.

Think of this without a shield and with light glasses, a man standing at 6 foot 8 and 290 lbs of muscle (Small for a viking)

Bio: Garth used to be a high ranking officer in his Clan, But during a battle and an invasion on his homeland from another Clan, Garth's King was killed while he was defending. The king as well as his family died and Garth seethed with anger plotting revenge upon the opposing clan. So he and a small group went there and killed every single person in that Clan without mercy and brutally. It was during that little raid that he killed a man who dropped these interesting glasses, they drew garth to them when he picked them up and put them close to his face they attached onto him.
It is said that you can still hear the screams of the people as he and his little group wiped out the entire clan in revenge. It is something Garth has regretted his whole life, and he only works harder and stronger because he told his son. That he would become the strongest wizard, it was a promise after his son came home crying about people making fun of Garth. He promised him he would become so strong that nobody would ever laugh at him again. Eventually that dream faded as he and his great friend Erak Entered the gates of Valhalla during a mission, and he found his son who had died a warriors death defending the house. But Garth and Erak finally split ways and went off on their own adventures. Where Garth now fights, for the good of those who request him.

Special Weapons:Arcane short sword, it has the ability to suck the life force out of the person who is stabbed and gives it to Garth. However, this causes to drain Garths magic by an incredible amount the more he uses it, so he usually stays away from it.
His Glasses, They are special cursed glasses in which when he activates them gives him the knowledge and the power of the wearers before him, the only way to have gotten them was to kill the person who wore them before you. HOWEVER, these glasses always leave him gasping for breath and life afterwards, he has never used them over more than a 5 minute period, and he does now know what could happen if he did.

Spells:Garth uses an assortment of spells dealing with the elements, and light and darkness, all these spells you can tell what he is about to cast by the color his eyes turn, He is great at support magic as well but the elemental magic is where he is strongest.

Bio: Koshraa has never been one to follow the crowd, even from a young age she was often found doing whatever she wanted to do at the time. As she got older she became more cautious and managed to avoid the police forces. When she was a teenager she discovered her innate magical talent and went to an old drow priestess to hone her abilities. She specializes in creating flashes of light as distractions and other illusions. As soon as she came of age she left her clan and lived on her own, being very careful never to come in contact with any of her family. She has hated orcs as long as she can remember but she isn't sure exactly why, although she doesn't care as long as she gets to knock some heads together. Her basic philosophy is "I'm going to do what I want, when I want, screw the consequences."

Special Weapons: She carries two throwing knives and an intricately carved dagger.

Spells: Fireball, Flash (Flashes of light for distraction), Illusion (The more she focuses the more complex the illusion), Grease (Conjures a small patch of slick oil on the floor or ground), and Magic Missile (Balls of energy that she can aim at people)

Race: Necromancer - a group of human spellcasters famous for the fact that they practice necromantic magic and have power over the dead. They are ruled by a king and live in Subterrania, a large underground city whose location is kept secret from everyone else. Although occasionally some of them go out and explore the world. In the eyes of the world they are considered to be evil because of the magic they practice, but necromancers are actually neutral and prefer to stay away from wars and other conflicts, considering that it's none of their business and that it only attracts unwanted attention towards them.

Bio: Eleazar was born in a village as the son of two farmers. Everything else about him is a mistery, his family name, his birthdate and his real age. What everyone realises though...is that Eleazar is alot older then he looks. He was just a 7 year old when the village was wiped out by orcs. Eleazar survived due to the sacrifice of his mother, who died to save his life. He was found and taken away by necromancers who were looking for magically gifted young children to make necromancers out of and increase their ranks. As he grew in age Eleazar was trained into the art of necromancy as his master predicted him a bright future. Impressed by his skills the necromancer king took Eleazar under his protective wing and transformed him into his most prized servant. Decades later, when Eleazar expressed his desire to go out and see the world the king allowed him to do so but warned him that those from the surface are not very fond of necromancers and are full of prejudices when it comes to them. He also gave him the Staff of the Dead, the most prized possession of the necromancers. And with that Eleazar left Subterrania, returning to the surface for the first time in 70 years. He is a very well trained and experienced necromancer. He wasn't the king's confidant for nothing and didn't recieve the Staff of the Dead just for kicks. Normally no necromancer has the right to use it except for the king himself. Despite the fact that 70 years have passed ever since the unfortunate events of his childhood, Eleazar never forgot about his true origins and harbors in himself a deep hatred for orcs. A harted that can only he cured by killing as many of them as possible.
Special Weapons: Staff of the Dead(seen in appearance picture): A powerful necromantic staff that Eleazar uses for most of his spells. He gained it from the actual necromancer king many years ago as a reward for his many years of spotless service.
Spells:
Purple flaming skulls - Eleazar is able to shoot purple flaming skulls at his foes from his hands. They are made of pure energy and can cause considerable damage. Unfortunately they do not follow the target so Eleazar has to make sure he has a good aim whenever he uses this spell otherwise he will miss. However there is a special version of this spell, that can only be shot from the staff, that has the ability to follow it's target.
Bone Shards - Eleazar has the ability to fire multiple bone shards from his hands. The bone shards are very sharp and travel at high speeds towards their target.
Blood Oath - With this spell Eleazar can create a link between himself and a target. If that target happends to damage him in any way then that damage will be returned to the one that dealt it while Eleazar will escape unharmed. The downside of this spell is that it only works on one target at a time and not many at once.
Corpse Skin - A special spell, done only with the staff, Corpse Skin allows Eleazar to transmogrify the skin of a target to resemble rotted corpse flesh, thus making the target more vulnerable to attacks of all kinds.
Life Force Absorption - Eleazar has the ability to absorb the life force of his victims, leaving them nothing but skin and bones. He can use this life force to heal himself if he's wounded or transfer it to someone else and heal him instead. Also by absorbing life force Eleazar increases his life span and slows down his aging. That's why he still looks like someone in his 30's although in reality he's alot older.
Summon Skeleton - Eleazar posseses the ability to raise a skeleton from a dead body or from the ground. The skeleton will act as a servant for Eleazar and follow his every command.
Animate Dead - The most defining necromantic skill, Eleazar can use this spell to bring the dead back to life. Just like the skeletons, these undead servants will follow their master's every command.
Spirit Shield - The only protective spell in his arsenal, Eleazar can summon the spirits of the dead, with the help of the staff. The spirits then will begin to appear out of nowhere and fly around Eleazar, shielding him from any attacks for a certain period of time, after that they will dissapear. This shield offers great protection against magic and projectile type attacks. Unfortunately it's not so useful against melee attacks. Eleazar can also cast this shield on others not just on himself.

Bio: I don't feel like typing all of a sudden, so this will be short. He was left at an orphanage as a baby (cliche, I know), strict religious upbringing, somehow 'cursed' with the ability to naturally use necromantic magic, never fit in, married a wonderful woman who showed him love and kindness who is promptly murdered after their wedding, flips out, seeks revenge at any cost, sells soul to the god of evil in exchange for his aid, hunts for wife's murderer, kills any in his path. I'm going to have him become a powerful, evil lich if he lives long enough.

Special Weapons: Longsword, armor, dagger. Damien can fight, but his magic is far the stronger. I suppose guns are also in this world.

Spells:
*Soul Sense - can sense souls, even incorporeal ones, and has the ability to see them, even through walls.
*Speak with dead - Mostly means he can talk to ghosts.
*Soul Manipulation - Can compel souls to relocate, force them into the spectral realm, tear them out of living bodies, put them to rest, or cause them pain. (can't do this yet/can be resisted?)
*Grasp of the Dead - Can call up skeletal arms out of the ground to grab at enemy's feet.
*Wave of Fatigue - Spell causes target to become exhausted and therefore much less able to run or fight.
*Death to Undeath - Obliterates undead instantly.
*Control Undead - Force an undead to obey simple commands. Applies to incorporeal undead as well.
*Animate Dead - Make an obedient zombie out of a corpse.
*Soul Death - Obliterate a soul. (can't do this yet/can be resisted?)
*Fade - Can phase halfway into the spectral world, making him ghostlike and impossible to hit with material weapons, etc. Only lasts a few mins.
*Spell Resistance - Less affected by magic.
*Undeath Ward - Makes a spherical shield around him which undead cannot enter.
*Bone Shield - Sends a thick bone whirling around him in a circle, knocking away any physical attacks, weapons or projectiles.
*Chill Touch - can cause cold damage by touch.
*Rebuke Undead - Damages/harms/tortures undead.
*Cause Fear - Freaks living people out.
*Vampiric Touch - Can drain some life energy out of an enemy on touch, transferring it to Damien temporarily.
*Lightning Bolt - Sorry, I need a ranged attack.

Drawbacks (I figure i need a few):
Skin cold to touch.
Asocial.
Young.
Sensitive to holy magic, feels pain or regret around "good" stuff.
Most of his magic works against undead. Not a lot of defensive magic. Can't control very many undead at once or use spells repeatedly, ie. limited mana.
Undead Eyes - beginning to look less human.

I need an evil god for this character to worship. Maybe we could have him working with the orcs?

Bio: Viktor was born in 500 A.D to a wealthy merchant family in Romania. His entire life he got what he wanted and made lots of friends until, at the age of 37 became a merchant like his father. Three years later, he found the love of his life named Valerica while on a trading trip to Rome and they immediately fell in love. But, since she was the daughter of the Roman Emperor who already had arranged a match for her, there were no chances of them being together, so every night, Valerica would visit Viktor and they would hold a secret relationship away from the eyes of the Empire. Until one night, the Emperor tasked a guard to follow Valerica, when the guard saw that she was meeting Viktor and told the Emperor, he banished Viktor from Rome and locked his daughter in the palace. Drowned in sadness, Viktor returned to Romania to live out his days shut out from the world in his house, until one day, when he was 48 years old, he heard a knock on his door. When he opened the door, he saw Valerica who explained that she escaped from her father. Overwhelmed by happiness, Viktor hugged Valerica and assured her that they would never be separated again. Three months later they got married and had 5 children. During that time, Viktor returned to being a merchant, making trips all over Europe. When Viktor was 60 years-old, he went on a trip to Cyprus. During the trip, a horrible storm shook the sea and Viktor was shipwrecked. He woke up three days later in a strange island he didn't recognize and panicked as he didn't remember anything about the past 50 years of his life. He lived on that island for five years until, one day, there was a storm and his shelter was destroyed, so he went into a cave to protect himself. In that cave he heard some noises and decided to go deeper into the cave when he found other people. Delighted at the sight of other humans, he approached them, only to find, these people weren't people, they had long fangs and claws, grey skin, and blood all around their mouths. When he tried to escape, they caught him and bit him, he could feel the life escape from his body until he finally blacked out. Two weeks later, he woke up back in Romania during one night. He felt stronger, faster, and found he had an unquenchable thirst for blood. He decided to go back home because he felt like there was a something attracting him to that place. When he arrived, he found his wife and children which he didn't recognize at the time. Overwhelmed by his thirst for blood, he bit his entire family and sucked their blood until they were left without a single drop of blood in their limp, lifeless bodies. Only then, his memory of the past 50 years came back to him. As he looked at his dead family, he realized what he had done. After this, he lived his life in seclusion, haunted by the sight of his dead family. In 1800 A.D, he moved to Haven City to live among other people. When this war broke out between Haven City and the Orcs, he was forced to protect the city.
Special Weapons: A steel sword, his fangs, and his claws.
Spells:

Fireball

Viktor can create balls of fire and shoot them at his enemies.

Captivate

Viktor can keep an oponent under his control with direct eye contact, only once a day though, as this spell takes up a lot of energy.

Life Drain

Viktor can absorb the life force of living beings, however only from one enemy at a time and in small amounts, as absorbing too much could weaken him.

Detect Life

Viktor has "blood vision" which allows him to detect all living things that have blood flowing through their veins.

Bat Cloud

Viktor can turn into a cloud of bats to escape from dangerous situations and fly.

Life Heal

If Viktor has recently absorbed the life force of a living being, he can use that energy to heal his wounds, however, it takes at least 30 minutes to heal flesh wounds and 1:30 hour to heal internal wounds and broken bones.

Magical Shield

Viktor can create a shield that blocks all spells, absorbs them, and fires them back at the enemy.

Command Dead

Viktor can reanimate any dead bodies around him and command them to fight for him.
