Fans of the anime bleach are given a chance to develop their characters in this open story. Taking place amongst the classic settings of bleach including Karakura town, the Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo among others. If you've never heard of bleach, this will give you a chance to experience the nature of the bleach universe and develop a character accordingly. Unlike most fixed stories, this sandbox gives each character a chance to change, grow, and thrive with few to no restrictions. Depending on the vitality of the world, one could even go from being human to being head captain of the court guard squads of the course of the story. Anything is possible and all characters will be nurtured by each other as well as the many npc's I'll be providing. For the most part, this thread is a place for any and all to come and go, participating in a relaxed nature while also getting to share their love of the anime through role play.

Hmm. What is your opinion on Shinigami who are not the equivalent of nameless ranking officers (bad experience last time I was in a Bleach RP)

On a side note: I skipped the Fullbring arc, and the Fake Kamakura town stuff. I have either read or watched the rest. XD

So, um, I haven't actually read the manga for a long time (I kind of quit around the time Soi Fon's Bankai was introduced), but I've always found some of the concepts in the universe kind of interesting. I hope it's okay to express my interest despite this. ^^;

I've literally been waiting for a chance to play around in this setting, love the universe even if the manga has sorta went seriously downhill. Everything up until the end of the soul society arc was actually good, the rest was kinda silly...

Raineh Daze As I said before anything is possible. You're free to play any part you wish to play in the free world. As long as your character fits the world and isn't a god, the restrictions are nigh. Feel free to use any knoledge you have of the bleach series including any of the arcs or movies to create and or develop your character.

Rin You're welcome to join with any knowledge of the series. This may even be a chance for you to learn some things you didn't. Being caught up with the manga is not a requirement of this thread as it takes place on a very different timeline.

Tatsua Aiisen Overall, the series had several impressive moments and stories. It's in the fascination of this that this thread was created. There's too many possibilities to ignore.

Tatsua Aiisen, Rin I always host thread is multiple sections based on it's interest. However I have most responses while in the casual section.

I'd like to express some interest. I enjoy Bleach, but I've never gotten the chance to participate in a RP based on it. Out of curiosity, what would the status of canon be here? Would we be assuming the events didn't occur, or would we be placing it at some point relative to the canon timeline?

I'd also prefer it in Casual, if at all possible.

Would the events taken into consideration include the manga events after the end of the anime? Because while I'm familiar with the events before, I'm significantly less familiar with what comes after. =P

I've seen this used multiple times, but a few things that people always seem to forget are:
1: That would mean the roleplay would be set in like, year 2100 human time. This is a big deal.
2: Most of the canon characters would still be alive given this "timeline".
3: SS would likely be revolutionized at this point, with research into hollowfication having reached a stable and mass-produced state.

... not an AU? A thread based upon an unknown ending, and in the future and with most of the current captains (possibly lieutenants in some spots) too... um.

This is a recipe for disaster. Rank paralysis is only the most minor symptom.

Tatsua Aiisen, Raineh Daze I simply employ this to try and make things a bit smoother. I would set it as being the same timeline but simply with different characters and in a alternate universe, however I wanted to give everyone the chance to take on a role they may have wanted to take on, be it the captain, sub shinigami, hollow or otherwise. Also, it allows other characters to assimilate a blood line of a canon character into their own if they wish...ie son of Ichigo or daughter of chad. I'm open to suggestion however as any ideas to help maintain a healthy thread are welcomed.
