She has had enough of the waiting. She gave him almost ten minutes to give her the fucking passcode, but Savayna was losing her patience with Carlo. She was only giving him this long cause of the position she would most likely put the Archadian Empire in from her antics here. However, she was getting a real bad feeling about this all. Anymore time wasted and Savayna was definitely certain that the time would allow the Bhujerbain forces coming in and stop her for sure. If that were to happen, shit would only get worse from then on. Suddenly, her worst fears came to fruition.

“DAMMIT! WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING!?!?” Roared Savayna.

She could not only see them through the lights of torches, but she could also hear them mobilizing and she heard them say something about securing the Aerodome and then about making sure Carlo was okay. At this point, Savayna was frantic and just all-around pissed beyond all hell. She didn’t know whether to just kill Carlo right now and just get it over with or use him as a bargaining chip. The latter definitely sounded like the smarter route to with.

“What are you guys doing just standing around? Make sure you watch the exit and entrance and make sure those assholes outside don’t get it. “ She ordered. “Mages, you better get your wands ready cause this is going to be a long night.” She said as she took a hold of Carlo and took him ways from the entrance/exit. She took him his office actually, still tied up. She then hit him with the bottom side of her hilt right in the noggin, causing him to become unconscious.
Back at the Armanda, Jaakuna is still asleep. Tossing and turning, he dreams of his time back at the Archadian Empire, he dreams of still being married to Savayna, and he remembers the day that changed his entire life.

The Imperial City of Archadia has always been on the leading city of using Magicite and Nethicite to power their weapons and city. That has never been something that they hid from, especially the Royal Family of House Darcone. They always indulged in such a manner that they’ve became greedy and the Empire’s richest and most influential family. They hold the most power within the empire, as seen by the Emperor, Simon Aver Darcone-Archadia. This man has a commanding presence, much like his two sons do. Simon is a man who is proud of his accomplishments and doesn’t stray far from being blunt. He is also a man who takes great stride in securing his family’s place in the leadership of the Archadian Empire, even if it means abusing power.

In the royal palace, there sits, in the throne that is laced with colors ranging from gold to white, black to blue, and metals of all kind, sits Simon. His presence as powerful as he is in his own right of magic and influence. He sits like a smug son of a bitch, smiling as if he has no worries in the world. In comes his two sons on his command.

“My sons, take a seat, won’t you.” Simon gestures his two sons, Vincent and Jackson’Jaakuna’, to take a seat.

In front of him are two very comfy chairs. The oldest son takes the seat on the left and the youngest takes the one on the right.

“My sons, how fares your conquests?” He says as his voice is deep, and rigid with punctuation.

“Father, they fare quite pleasantly. My men just took over that nation in the north as you requested.” Vincent says as he puts his head down.

“And you, my oldest, Jackson…I mean Jaakuna?” Simon said correcting himself.

“They’re fine father, like you care.” Jaakuna bitterly said.

“How can you say that? Of course I care which woman my son had just married. Just cause I couldn’t attend the wedding isn’t any representation of how I feel about my oldest .” Simon was probably putting on a façade, but he was trying to get his son to understand that he loves him, in his own twisted way.

“Okay father, if you say so.” Jaakuna said trying to say as little as possible.

Simon was confused, but he let the matter go. “Well, in any case, my two sons, I have come to a decision.” He began to speak. “As you know, I am giving the throne up to one of you and I have to make the decision.” He continued, “Usually, the oldest, — that would be you Jaakuna — but your marriage to that…woman made me rethink it. As pertaining to that very reason, my youngest.” He said looking towards Vincent, “My son, stand up.” He said.

Vincent stood up, proudly as his posture was straight as it possibly could be. “Vincent Ordull Darcone, I pronounce you as my heir. Starting tomorrow, you will be the Emperor of Archadia.” He said as he announced Vincent the new emperor, and not Jaakuna.

“Thank you father. I will not let you do---”
“Are you fucking kidding me with this bullshit!?”

Just as Vincent was about to finish his sentence, Jaakuna rudely interrupted him. Vincent had a look of complete shock on his face. Simon had a similar look, but it was laced with a forefront of anger.

“Jaakuna, mind your place.”
“Father, with all due respect, shut the fuck up.”
“E-E-Exucse me? Do you mind repeating that?”
“Oh, was I not clear? Okay, let me repeat myself. SHUT! THE1 FUCK! UP!”

The look on both Vincent’s and Simon’s face were both shocked as all hell, and as they should be. Vincent was more distraught that his brother would show such disrespect to their father. However, Simon was feeling a different form of shock. It was more angrily-shocked than surprised shocked. Simon was trying his best not to lash out on his own son, but it was failing.

“Listen here you little shit, I just named your brother as the heir to the throne. You should be congratulating him instead of showing the biggest sign of disrespect to your own blood — to your father.” Simon went off on his son.

“Oh? You expect me to accept this? My little brother getting the throne before me? How exactly am I supposed to accept that?”

Simon was even more angry. “You don’t have a choice in the matter. Frankly, you married that whore, Savay--” Simon was cut off.

Jaakuna had lost it. Naming his brother as heir over him was something, but insulting his bride was crossing the line. Jaakuna had proceeded to get out of his chair, launched himself five feet forward, and in step, a right uppercut was launched to Simon from Jaak. The force applied to it was so high that it launched Simon up and over out of the throne, through the glass and out the window…down seven floors of air until he hit the concrete floor below head first and bouncing into two backflips and he laid dead on his stomach, arms out and legs twisted.

“FAAAAAAAAATHERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!” Vincent shouted on the top of his lungs, crying as he yelled.

Jaakuna just stood there and ran out of the throne room. He was angry at his father, sure, but did he mean to kill him? That is uncertain. Jaakuna was just so distraught. He immediately fled to the area of the city that the airships are kept. Jaakuna knew he couldn’t stay and he definitely knew that he couldn’t tell his wife about this. He couldn’t tell Savayna that he did this FOR her. He just had to flee. That’s why he’s taking Ifrit, HIS ship, though it was given to him by his father. It’s the only thing he will have to remember his father by and it’s the only thing that he will have to keep himself sane.

As he woke up, Jaakuna rushed into sitting-up position. That is the twentith time he has had that dream and it’s been only this month. He just can’t stop having it. It’s always with him, and never can he escape it. He knows that’s why Savayna’s here. He really doesn’t know if the marriage is still intact or not, but he didn’t want Emiri to know that.

Jaakuna walks towards the living room and as he nears the living room he sees Emiri out on the window. It would seem that she was going to get some fresh air, so he was going to go back to bed as soon as he would get some water, but he stopped cause he saw her gathering her weapons and then she jumped. Jaakuna instantly ran to the window and he saw her with some blonde-haired woman. He could hear some bits and pieces, but he caught the name Naddie.

When he saw that, he instantly went inside to get his weapons. It only took maybe a minute or so to get his Blood Swords and Iga Blade. As he was fully stocked with his weapons, Jaakuna had also got on his regular clothes. That didn’t take much longer either, maybe an additional minute or so. Once he did he returned to the outside of the room and he saw Emiri going with that blonde woman. Jaakuna jumped off of the window with one foot and he propelled himself over the gap between the hotel room he was in and the building next to it.

Being like the thief he is, he silently followed the two girls until he saw that the soldiers of Bhujerba were gathering at the Aerodome. Jaakuna was worried. Had they found out who he is? Or was there more to it? Jaakuna would still follow Emiri and the woman she was with to see what would happen. He would do that by hopping the buildings one at a time. He would get to the point that they stopped and they were heading up the Aerodome and Jaakuna would hang off the side of it, aligning himself out of sight, but him being able to see where the girls were, and he quietly hopped over the ledge, sneaking his way behind the girls. He was doing anything he could to hear what the girls were hearing and he did hear some bits about some guy named Carlo being safe or them trying to get him safe. Jaakuna didn’t know what this was about, but he quietly came up behind Emiri and the blonde woman.

“So, what’s going on here?” Jaakuna said as he was right behind Emiri and the one he could only assume was Naddie.

Nadeline furrowed her brow, watching the Marquis. What in the world had prompted him to call the soldiers at this time of night? For some reason, she immediately looked to the brunette, raising an eyebrow, though something out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. Emiri was also watching, though her thoughts were elsewhere. Did this have anything to do with the General chasing Jaakuna? Maybe she shouldn't have been so quick to leave him. In a second, Nadeline brandished her rapier, pointing it at their unexpected guest. Emiri whipped around, blinking in surprise to see Jaakuna himself standing behind the pair. Speak of the devil and he shall appear before you. Emiri thought, guiltily avoiding eye contact with him. She quickly grabbed Nadeline's wrist, shaking her head. Nadeline looked from Emiri to Jaakuna, though she did stare at Jaakuna for quite a bit.

"You...have we met?" Nadeline was sure she had recognized him from somewhere. Why couldn't she match a name to his face? She definitely knew him from somewhere, she hardly ever forgot people. His name was on the tip of her tongue, too.

Emiri missed her statement, quickly hissing, "For someone who dislikes violence you sure are quick to draw your blade. Stay your sword, there is no need for it, Naddie."

Nadeline pointed said weapon at Emiri. "Who is this, Lia?" Had she no restraint, Emiri would have punched Nadeline in that smug face of hers. Luckily for the pair, while she was rough around the edges, she retained her impulse, instead glaring at her. Nadeline smirked somewhat, lowering her rapier. She caught on rather quickly that this Jaakuna didn't know of Emiri's real identity. She wondered what she did call herself, however.

"Jaakuna." Emiri spoke, finally looking at him. "What are you doing here?"

No doubt that Jaakuna surprised the two girls, maybe the blonde who was the most surprised as she had stared at him for quite a bit amount of time. Jaakuna didn‘t mind the staring. But damn she sure did it quite awkwardly. “See something you like, hotcakes?“ Jaakuna said as he noticed she pulled out her weapon, a Rapier. Jaakuna was just about to get his Iga Blade out, but then Emiri spoke and that seemed to calmed her down. Jaakuna is still keeping his distance of the one called Naddie.

As the two women in front of him were arguing, Jaakuna got the impression that they knew each other, as Emiri addressed her as Naddie, which seemed to anger her. Naddie responded by calling Emiri Lia. That was odd. Jaakuna thought it would have been iri or some shit like that. “Lia huh? Is there something that you want to tell me?” Jaakuna joked…sort of. However, right after he said that, Emiri asked him what he was doing here, and even saying his name. “Well, what am I to do? You’re my fucking prize and you just got up and left me. I was heartbroken love. Besides, I’m thinking the Ice Bitch is here too. Or at least I hope so or else some other shit is going down.” Jaakuna said as he looked toward the mess over whatever was going down and he couldn’t believe it.

“RAMON!?!?!” Jaakuna yelled as he completely ignored the two women in front of him. He couldn’t believe it. His fucking brother was here in Bhujerba and he never eve knew of it.

"Oh my, how romantic." Nadeline blushed, jabbing Emiri. "You have yourself a lover, why in the world would you run away from him?" This time, Emiri pinched Nadeline. "Ow! What was that for?!" Emiri opened her mouth to make a retort, but the two were interrupted by Jaakuna calling out someone's name. At that point, it hit Nadeline: Jaakuna looked like Roman! That was why his appearance confounded her. Granted they differentiated in some parts, but physically, Jaakuna was the spitting image of a younger Roman.

The man in question recognized the voice. It would seem fate would bind him to Archadia after all. He cleared his throat, giving a signal to one of his soldiers, and calmly walked over to the group. "[A lady in each arm? I thought you were a dedicated man." He joked, though his face did turn to something serious. "Bringing the Ifrit here...what were you thinking? I now have a hostage situation at hand, you know. It seems Lady Savayna would resort to anything to get to you, even ignoring me and causing a ruckus." He looked at both Nadeline and Emiri--what was Jaakuna doing associating with the Rozarrian Princess? He then sighed, shaking his head. "One headache after another...you never change, do you, my little brother?"

Emiri's jaw dropped at this point. So not only was he married to a general, he was also related to a Marquis?! He accused her of hiding things, meanwhile he was just a big bag of secrets himself, it seemed. Nadeline, however, did not take this news well. She put on a very serious face, gently pulling Emiri away from Jaakuna. She knew well of Roman's origins--if Jaakuna was related to him, then he was of the enemy empire. What in the world was Emiri doing with such a man? But doesn't that make it even more romantic? In love with a man from the enemy...it's straight out of a romance novel!

Jaakuna was both surprised to see his brother here and not surprised. As strange as that sounds, Jaakuna had completely forgot that his older, half-brother was the Marquis of Bhujerba. It didn’t hit him until now that it was indeed his brother. Ramon made a comment about the two women behind Jaakuna and as he looked towards them, Jaakuna laughed, “No trust me, neither of them are mine in that way — the brunette, maybe — but the blonde is..well I really don’t know who the fuck she is.” Jaakuna said questioning who exactly the woman with Emiri was.

As he started to think about that very same thing, he zoned out, as always. It took the mention of the Ifrit that Jaakuna zoned back in. What his brother said made some sense, but really? How was he supposed know that after three years that him and the Ifrit would wind up into some trouble. Even further, Ramon confirmed a worry of Jaakuna’s as him saying that Savayna was there in the Aerodome. “Well, my dear older brother, if you must know, it wasn’t my choice to come here.” Jaakuna said as he looked towards Emiri. “Yeah, so don’t blame me for something that wasn’t in my side of the ball court. Besides, I was going to be out of here by morning, but obviously that’s not going to happen.” Jaakuna said as he sighed at the matter.

As he was done speaking, Jaakuna knew he had to face his lovely ex-wife, “So, what can I do to help? I figure the least I can do is try to get your ass out of this jam.”

Nadeline pulled Emiri some distance away from the brothers, letting them talk, and giving the pair space to converse themselves. Nadeline looked Emiri straight in the eye, trying her hardest to look sincere. "Listen, Lia...whatever is happening does not concern us. The Marquis and...Jaakuna...seem to have it under control." What was she talking about? Still, Emiri listened carefully, though she did look back at the brothers. "I do not think you are aware...if that man is truly related to Roman, you must know. I believe he is one of the royal princes of Archadia."

Emiri's eyes widened. It was just one bombshell after another, wasn't it? She shook her head in disbelief. "You...you can't be serious...!"

Nadeline squeezed her hand. "Please, you need to forget him. Come with me, Vlyn and Aloa are here in Bhujerba as well. We can return to Rozarria and forget about all this. I know you must love him, but with the way relations between Rozarria and Archadia are at present, this can only end in disaster."

She didn't even care about Nadeline's comment on their relationship. She was in a state of shock. It did make some sense, however...he could've been lying about the bounty, wanting to bring her back to Archadia. But it didn't seem like he was lying...and then there was Savayna. She was hunting him down, so he wasn't going to turn her over to them, right? Emiri was so confused, and she looked from Nadeline to Jaakuna. What should she do?

Meanwhile, Roman was contemplating on Jaakuna's words. He had done more harm then hurt, but perhaps at the very least, he could get Carlo out of danger. He then nodded, stating, "It is difficult to run from the past, brother." He paused, looking over at Nadeline; she was having a serious conversation with Emiri, it seemed. "I don't know what you're doing here, but it would seem you are at a crossroad." He motioned to Nadeline. "That young woman is related to Rozarrian nobility. It seems as if she and the young woman you were with recognize one another. I have ordered her to return to her country; it looks like she will be taking the young woman with her." Roman sighed, looking back at Jaakuna. "I won't force you to do anything, but you can't possibly please anyone, brother. You're going to have to choose...either you deal with the past and Savayna--" He looked at the Aerodome. "--Or you take care of whatever business you need to deal with in the future." He looked at Emiri, who was receiving some surprising news. "I will stand by whatever decision you make. It's the least I can do for you."

Honestly, Jaakuna had no idea what he wanted to do. The truth was out about him being one of the crown princes of Archadia, but there’s so much there that isn’t being revealed, but for good reason. If anyone knew what Jaakuna really did, they would hang him instantly. The truth of that is Jaakuna wouldn’t blame them, but fuck, if anyone knew WHY he accidentally killed his father, would they still hang him? Probably not, but Jaakuna also has to take it into account that Ramon doesn’t know anything about that. For that very reason he is thankful. It bought him some time.

Even though Ramon wouldn’t blame him for abandoning his ex-wife in the Aerodome, that could lead to that guy Carlo certainly dying. On the other side of things, if he did go in there and settle this matter with Savayna, he would miss the chance to at least explain himself to Emiri and that Naddie chick. Then there’s the matter of those two Viera. Jaakuna doesn’t know exactly what they’re like when they get angry. Wait a minute.. Jaakuna probably just put it together. They couldn’t be.. Jaakuna was just thinking that what if the two Viera were working for the Rozarrian empire this whole time and he never put it together. If that was true, then he was truly at a crossroads.

He had to choose and he had to do it now. ”Just too funny. I was grilling Emiri about not making choices and here I am forced to make one.” On some level, Jaakuna found this ironic. He was on Emiri’s ass about choosing and how she didn’t and now he has to do the same exact thing. “Brother, I’m sorry for your situation and I know I SHOULD settle this with Savayna, but I just can’t — not now at least. I hope you can understand it. Jaakuna said as he decided. He was going to deal with Emiri first and possibly get at the whole situation with Savayna at a later time.

As Jaakuna walked over to Emiri and Naddie, he knew he had some s’plaining to do. ”Now, just let me explain. It really isn’t what it looks like, that much I can promise you.” Jaakuna said as he was at least hoping for a chance to explain himself. Even though it’s more about him wanting to set the record straight and not about whether or not Emiri feels any better.

Nadeline once again pulled Emiri behind her, glaring at Jaakuna. "Spare us your stories, I know who you are and what you've done." She stated, once again taking out her rapier and pointing it at him. "I don't know what business you have with Emelia, but it ends here. Leave her be, I'm taking her back home with me."

"Nadeline!" Emiri yelled, once more grabbing her hand. "Have you gone mad?! What are you going on about? Do you really believe you can best him in a fight? You idiot!"

The blonde shifted her glare to Emiri. "No, YOU are the idiot here! Are you telling me that you're going to trust this man?! The streets have not only dulled your manners, they've dulled your way of thinking as well! Now stay out of this." Emiri unsheathed her own sword, and at this Nadeline was shocked. "Do you truly dare to use your weapon against me? Last I checked I still bested you at all our lessons."

"That was a long time ago." Emiri stated bitterly. "I'm making my own choices here."

The two glared at one another, effectively ignoring Jaakuna at the moment. Weapons in hand, tensions high--just like old times.

Not even getting a chance to explain, Jaakuna was denied the chance to speak, but that was just cause this chick Naddie decided to shut Emiri off from even giving him a chance. She not only discounted Jaakuna as possibly being different, but she also had the nerve to dare say that Emiri was going with her. There was something that stood out. She called Emiri Emilia. Perhaps that’s her real name. Or perhaps she has another name. Jaakuna couldn’t make sense of any of this. He just wanted to settle one thing at a time before he tackled the other things.

Watching the two women engage in some heated discussion, Jaakuna couldn’t help but feel insulted. It wasn’t due to the fact that he was being ignored, but he felt..well he didn’t know what he felt, but it wasn’t good. He didn’t trust this Naddie chick. Even more so, he didn’t like being ignored. Jaakuna took out his Iga Blade “Geez, what is it with you blonde bitches being so rude?” Jaakuna said as he pointed his Iga Blade at Naddie. “If you think you’re taking my one-way ticket to millions of gil, you got another thing coming, NaddieHe said.

Jaakuna wouldn’t have this. It wasn’t the fact that Jaakuna felt some type of way for Emiri, but who knows, maybe Jaakuna is getting comfortable of her being around. “So, the way I see it, you have two choices.” Jaakuna said, “Choice number one, you go back to whatever bitchcave you crawled from, and never bother Emiri or I ever again. Or..”Jaakuna said as he walked in-between Emiri and Naddie. “You can pick choice two, which would be to go through me, you dumb blonde bimbo!” Jaakuna said as his voice reached a very insulting, all-time high.

The two girls looked at Jaakuna, dumbfounded, though for different reasons. Nadeline was beyond insulted, clearly a result of his vulgarity. Who did he think he was, insulting the Princess of Rozarria? She had half a mind to attack him right then and there! On the other hand, Emiri felt slightly disappointed. A one-way ticket, huh? Of course that's what she was.

"Now, now, children, let's all settle down here."

Vlyn chuckled slightly, having been admiring the trio from quite a distance, though due to recent circumstances (mainly the Archadian general in the Aerodome) he needed to make a change of plans. "Let's all play nice here, I have a simple solution to everyone's problems." He placed a large bag on the ground, motioning towards Jaakuna. "As promised, and a little extra for handling my precious Nadeline. I know she isn't an easy girl to deal with." He winked, tossing a stone in the air and catching it. "Your work here is done. I thank you for your prompt service, Sky Pirate."

"What is the meaning of this?!" Nadeline blurted, outraged and seething from both Jaakuna (the nerve of that man insulting her!) and Vlyn (where the hell has he been and why did he decide to show up NOW?!).

Vlyn waved at her, though he walked on over to them, placing a hand on Jaakuna. "Women, am I right?" He grinned, turning to Nadeline. "Please calm down, we'll be leaving momentarily. Though I wish you had gone to the hotel as you promised Aloa and I."

The male Viera was the one Emiri had seen going down the street--had he been around here all this time? And why pick NOW of all times to appear? She eyed the stone in his hand warily, feeling something...particular about it.

The tension in the air was so thick that you can cut like fucking butter. Seriously, with the arrival of Vlyn. He had a big sack of gil right on the ground and he motioned it to Jaakuna. Now Jaakuna officially had no place here…or did he? Granted, his job is completed. It was to hand over Emiri to Viyn and Aloa, and technically, that was exactly what was happening in the here and now. However, Jaakuna felt uneasy about this. He’s felt uneasy ever since he left the city of Rabanastre. It’s just been a lingering thought on his mind since the midday.

Jaakuna just wanted to make sense of it. Even the comment from Vlyn about women wasn’t making him laugh as he should be. Does Jaakuna really want to hand over Emiri just like that? Could I..no, I couldn’t be…could I.. Jaakuna just didn’t know. He thought he might actually feel fond of Emiri. Sure, he’s gotten used to the idea of having her around, but it’s not like there are actual emotional feelings there. There’s just no way. However, there is one thing among all this craziness that he is sure of. Handing Emiri over would be a grave mistake on his part.

“How do I put this nicely?” Jaakuna said, speaking towards Vlyn, “You can take that money, and shove it right up your brown, bunny asshole.” Jaakuna said, most likely shocking Emiri, Vlyn, but most importantly, he shocked himself. “She’s staying with me, and if ANYONE has a problem with that, they can suck my big, white dick!” Jaakuna said, as he would eventually motion Emiri to start running, but not yet. He wants to see how this will play out for the time being.

To say that the entire group was stunned to silence was a complete understatement. His words, while insulting, were rather shocking, after all. Nadeline seemed to forget all composure, letting her jaw drop. Vlyn was specchless--truly, completely speechless, he really didn't expect this (and in the back of his head kicked himself; Aloa had been right after all). Emiri had her mouth open, too, but covered it with one hand. Then, rather unexpectedly, she uncovered her mouth, revealing a very strong, very emotional, yet tiny smile. She didn't know what she was feeling--gratitude, relief, joy--but whatever it was, it made her happy. Like, really, really happy. She almost cried, her hands to her heart as she smiled at Jaakuna.

"You cannot be serious." Nadeline expressed her disbelief as she broke the silence, looking at Emiri. "Emelia!"

Emiri was snapped out of her reverie, and she looked at Nadeline, her smile fading. "Forgive me, I don't know who you're speaking to. My name is Emiri."

Nadeline gasped at her statement. "Lia..."

This...is a problem. Vlyn scratched his head, actually at a loss for words. He kinda wished Aloa was around; she was the one that usually knew how to handle things like this. Clearing his throat, he tried to regain his composure. "Really now...are you absolutely sure about this?" He already knew the answer, he was asking more for his own sake, really. "Literally all you have to do is walk away. Seriously."

Well, it definitely was something that Jaakuna didn’t think he would do, but alas he found himself in this type of situation. Or rather, he made himself bein this type of situation. He didn’t know what made him do it, but he’s actually glad that he did do it. Now the question was how will this effect him? As he did stand his ground in front of Emiri, he made a note of Naddie who spoke about whether or not Jaakuna was serious. Though, maybe she was talking to Emiri. Jaakuna wasn’t sure until he heard her proudly state that her name was Emiri and not this Emelia person. Jaakuna smiled at that and started laughing.

“HAHAHAHA! YEAH TAKE THAT YOU DUMB BITCH!” Jaakuna was just so happy about this. Maybe Jaakuna’s brashness was rubbing off of Emiri after all. Or at least, making her stand up for herself. Granted they only known each other for a day, but it was still nice to see her act…well human.

On the other side of things, Jaakuna heard Vlyn ask him if he was absolutely sure about his decision. Jaakuna looked towards him and coked his head to the side and returned it to normal position. “Damn, with those giant bunny ears, I thought you would have heard me correctly.” Laughing, Jaakuna had to repeat himself. “I guess not, well let me say it again. Touch Emiri, or even think about getting near her again and I’ll fucking kick your ass, bunnyman.” Jaakuna said as he took a fighting stance.

Looking towards Emiri for a sec. “Listen, if things get too dangerous, run. I can handle these two twats myself if needbe.” Jaakuna said as his attention was back on Vlyn.

Emiri nodded at Jaakuna's request. It wasn't that she didn't doubt it; last she remembered, Nadeline had yet to participate in an actual battle and had little desire for bloodshed. Still, she vaguely remembered the male viera--Vlyn, though last time she saw him he had a partner. A female viera, yes, but where was she?

Nadeline's cheeks turned pink, clearly unamused. How dare he?! Truly the Sky Pirates were nothing less then barbarians--this Jaakuna figure had clearly thrown away his title willingly! Now she was angry. Brandishing her rapier once more and bearing the anger of the gods themselves, Nadeline did a very uncharacteristic thing and charged at Jaakuna. Emiri pushed Jaakuna aside and parried Nadeline's blade, the two women clearly prepared for the other's blade. Strangely enough, she knew Nadeline didn't stand a chance against him; at the very least she'd spare her this.

"Once again we find ourselves at opposite ends, do we?" Emiri muttered, pushing her sword against Nadeline's rapier. "It seems you and I will never see eye to eye."

"Fitting enough, frolicking about with a Sky Pirate. Just you wait, from him too you will be running away, just like the coward you are." Nadeline replied, pushing her blade back. "Keep on running, Emelia, eventually you will find yourself in a corner, and then what? You'll have nowhere else to turn to."

I heard you loud and clear. I was just hoping it wouldn't come to this. Vlyn resumed scratching his head, though one of his ears twitched slightly. Man oh man, he should have known that things were much too easy. It wasn't like he wasn't prepared for a fight; the blonde fuming in front of him was a problem. Little lady never did take kindly to insults and nicknames, he dryly recalled. Despite his reluctance, Vlyn didn't see much of a choice, seeing as his young mistress decided to act rather brashly. "Really, Your Highness...You need to control your temper." Vlyn murmured, his hand spreading as his claws extended.

With all that was going on, Jaakuna was just focused on Vlyn. He didn’t want to lost focus off of the male Viera. He knew that those bunny man and women are much older than the hume race. Even though Jaakuna is confident in his strength, he wanted to make sure that he was focused on Vlyn.

Even though that he was focused, Jaakuna was definitely caught off guard by two things. First, it was the words that Naddie had said, but even more so by her actions. She was just about to attack Jaakuna. That led to the second thing that caught Jaakuna off guard. Emiri pushed him aside and went after Naddie. Definitely a change of attitude from Emiri and Jaakuna smiled, almost a grin-like expression. He didn’t think that she had it in her, but this whole day was full of surprises. He and Emiri went from enemies to almost friends. Who would have known?

As Jaakuna’s full attention was directed towards Vlyn, he heard what he had to say. What Jaakuna heard touched a nerve. Something that no one has ever before, at least not in three years. Addressing him as his highness. Now that was something Jaakuna just could not allow. He had forsaken his royalty as a Darcone long ago. Not even saying a single word, Jaakuna took a giant step forwards, extending his arms and Iga Blade forward in a piercing motion, trying to impale Vlyn before he even got the chance to open his pretty little mouth ever again.
As Savayna was in the aerodome still, she could hear everything going on below. From the soldiers outside trying to secure the dome to her men defending the line. Everything that was happening just made Savayna more frantic. She didn’t even know what to do and this just made her think back to when she discovered that Jaakuna had murdered his father. She was at disbelief and the worst thing of it all is that she doesn’t know why he did it. She thought that their love was at least strong enough that he would be able to tell her that, but by the time she heard about it, he was long gone and no one in the Archadian empire knew of his location until three years later.

As she thought about all of that, she did know that her current position put everyone, especially her boss, at a very weird position. She knew that if she was caught that she would be seen to charges of kidnapping, that much is clear to her. However, she definitely didn’t want to see to those charges. She didn’t know what to do.

“Dammit, what to do!” She said, contemplating on what to do.

As she was pacing back and forth, she decided to go down to the base level of the Aerodome and joined her men. Perhaps there would be something good to come out of her being in the midst of it.

“Any updates?” she asked her men.

“None mam. The Bhujerbian forces haven’t made any move…yet. However,” He said.

“However?” she responded.

It would seem that your ex-husband, Lord Jaakuna himself, made an appearance.”

“WHAT!!”
“Yes, it would seem Lord Jaaku--”
“He’s not a lord anymore, got that!”

“Yes mam.” he responded, [b]“But yes, Jaakuna, your ex-husband, was talking with a young girl, brunette and another, blonde. It would also seem that he and Marquis Ramon know each other as well. That’s about as much as either of us know milady.” He said.

Savayna was both angry and intrigued. “Marquis and Jaakuna, that’s very interesting. And they seemed…friendly with each other?” She said, intrigued by the status of Roman and Jaakuna’s relationship.

The soldier talking looked puzzled. “Well, yes milady, they are brothers, are they not?” The soldier said, puzzled.

“Well of course they are. This is not new news to anyone who is from Archadia. In which case, this will be fun to say the least.” she said showing amusement and also slight happiness.

As she finished the talk, Savayna sat on one of the couches(out of view of course), cross-legged and she just awaited what would happen down the line.

Vlyn smirked slightly; he had struck a nerve, it seemed. Still, while the blade was direct, his resolve was not, and Vlyn was larger, longer, stronger, and faster. His claw clashed with the blade, and her managed to grab it. "Really, Sky Pirate, I thought you were a little smarter than that." He said, raising an eyebrow. "Tell me, what changed your mind? Did you like what you saw? Did her power intrigue you?"

Meanwhile the two girls were going at it. Nadeline sure was a lot faster than Emiri remembered; each jab came like cactuar needles, precise and numerous. Still, she was predictable, and her anger made her sloppy. At one of Nadeline's thrusts, Emiri sidestepped it with ease. She brought up her own sword, parrying the attack and sending Nadeline back. As her rapier wasn't as strong as Emiri's Longsword, she staggered back: and that left her open. Instead of striking with her blade, however, she merely kicked her in the stomach, sending her backwards reeling.

Emiri approached Nadeline, shaking her head. "What, is that all?" She couldn't help but laugh a little--all talk and no bite, huh?

Nadeline glared at her, though something else caught her attention. Emiri turned around in time to see a Blizzaga cast. Emiri barely dodged it, frost forming on her cheek as it whizzed past, exploding into several icicles behind her. She brought up her sword as a Viera clad in silver clothing approached them, another Blizzaga at her fingertips.

"That is all for her; now, I am your opponent." Aloa spoke. "Stay put, Your Highness, we will handle this." And with that she broke into a run.

The brunette charged at the Viera. Aloa released the Blizzaga, though Emiri leapt back. As it erupted, Aloa kicked through it, lunging at Emiri. Her heel collided with her sword; the Viera had a lot more power in her leg then Emiri did in both arms. She was pushed back slightly, and as she spotted Aloa preparing another spell, she pushed off, backing away. Aloa seized the moment and swung her leg. It was another close call, mirroring the Blizzaga as Aloa's heel pierced through the frost on her cheek.

She has zero charge time for her spells, it seems. Emiri grimly noted as another spell laced around Aloa's fingers, rubbing her cheek on her shoulder. She thought it was another Blizzaga and prepared to jump back. As it sang through the air, however, she noticed it was missing its cool (literally). She jumped back, but the spell followed, forming above her, and the Water spell drenched her. This is what I get for not studying black magic.

The torrent was strong, and Emiri felt like she was drowning despite not being underwater. She stepped out, only to barely bring up her sword in time for Aloa's sweeping kick. Her sword was slippery in her hand, and she had to grip it with both hands lest it slip away. The Viera smirked, raising one leg, and Emiri noticed something was dripping from it. Before she could make sense of it, however, Aloa leapt into the air, and she fired off multiple Blizzard spells. Emiri swatted them away, but couldn't help but wonder why she didn't keep using Blizzaga. She went to step forward, and realized that Aloa wasn't aiming for her; she was still drenched from the Water spell, and her feet were quite literally frozen to the ground. She could feel her clothes sticking to her, her movements becoming rigid, and soon Emiri was little more than a popsicle.

Aloa landed on the ground, flipping her hair. "You stay put while I save Vlyn." She spoke, walking past Emiri.

------

"No signs of activity, sir." One soldier saluted Roman.

He sighed, scratching his head. They were at a stalemate, so to speak. As much as he agreed that Jaakuna had his choice, he sort of wished he had stayed to speak to Savayna. Not that he wasn't a negotiator, but the woman was, in his opinion, absolutely mad. He couldn't read her at all, if she had just waited until morning, she could've gotten her way, perhaps. Was she so desperate to get the ship back? Or was it something else?

With a heavy sigh, Roman walked to the entrance of the Aerodome. "Send word that I am here, if they don't know already. I wish to discuss the terms of her surrender." He said rather cheerfully.

"...Sir, don't you mean the terms of negotiation?"

"Nope. Go on now, don't be shy."

The soldier was quite confused, but followed the Marquis' orders. Another soldier approached him, one that was not involved with what was going on. "My Lord! A fight seems to have broken out in the streets between a man and a woman and another woman and a male Viera."

"Ignore it."

"...Uh, sir, are you sure?"

"Indeed I am. This is slightly more important. Don't worry, the worst that will happen is them killing one another, civilians won't get involved, I assure you." Roman reassured the soldier. Savayna, whatever it is that you're thinking, you're stepping on dangerous territory...

As he went in for a thrusting-like motion, Jaakuna’s Iga Blade was caught by Vlyn’s own hands, very much to Jaakuna’s disbelief. He just couldn’t believe that a swords was not only aught by Vlyn’s hands, but that he was actually able to take a hold of his sword. Like how does someone even do such a thing? Jaakuna couldn’t believe it, he just couldn’t. It wasn’t just that. Jaakuna wasn’t himself in that attack. It was like..something was missing, but he can’t place it. Just something about that attack seemed empty.

As Jaakuna was dumbfounded, hearing what Vlyn had to didn’t really help the cause. It just added to the anger he was feeling. “I will admit, at first her powers were pretty interesting, but it’s passed that point. I just know what assholes like you and your partner are like and if the people you work for are just bigger assholes, then I’m sorry, but I’m just not going to allow you to take a power like Emiri’s that you don’t deserve.” Jaakuna said as he slid his sword in such a way that got it out of the clutches of Vlyn. As he did that, he definitely took notice of what happening just a dozen feet or so away.

It took his notice that Aloa arrived onto the scene and the usage of multiple Ice spells. Jaakuna instantly got nostalgic as that had reminded him of his former lover, Savayna. The usage of the spells, however, were less consistent than Savayna’s. Though, Emiri looked like she was having problems. Jaakuna wanted to help, but he knew Vlyn would be a bit of a challenge if he tried to. Still, as he couldn’t help but watch, Jaakuna noticed that Emiri would get some frostbite-like look as she would be frozen slightly. Jaakuna couldn’t stand back. So, as he kept his eyes on Vlyn, he darted to Emiri, who had ended up on getting closer before she got frozen. Jaakuna would fire a fire spell to add to the heat and melt the ice around Emiri. Hopefully that would at least get her moving more.

As Jaakuna had made his way back to Vlyn, running of course, he jumped into the air and had coated his sword with Firaga, and by manipulating the flames even further due to his special brand of fire magic, he sliced downward, showing impressive feats as a blazing slice turned wave went forth to Vlyn, showing colors of red and white.
Admiring what she was thinking about, Savayna saw that Ramon was walking towards the entrance. Savvayna didn’t know what he was planning, but I would seem that word was relayed from one of her soldiers to her personally that Ramon wishes to discuss the terms of Savayna’s surrender. She smiled as that she found all of this amusing.

“Fine, I shall go discuss this matter with the Marquis. You nine stay here and keep an eye on Carlo. He’s unconscious, but don’t let him get any fast ideas.” She said as she headed to the entrance. Each step she took made the sound of her metal sound off. The sound of it clashing with the concrete made a distinct sound, but it was the moving of her swords that caused the most noise of her arrival.

Directly across from Roman, she stood, smiling as he probably did as well. “Oh Marquis Ramon, you think I’m actually going to surrender.? If this is true, then you’re as foolish as your half-brother.”

Aloa knelt down next to Nadeline, gently lifting her up. The girl was still reeling slight,y though managed to pretend the kick didn't hurt. The two looked at one another, and Nadeline picked up her rapier. "Do not be hasty in your decisions, Your Highness." Aloa gently reprimanded her, though shecast a Cure spell over her.

Nadeline shook her head, holding her arm guiltily. She hardly lost her temper as she did before, and felt somewhat ashamed at both her injury and her temperament. She looked to Vlyn and Jaakuna, then at the frozen Emiri. "Aloa...I..." She started, only to receive a pat on the head.

"Worry not. We'll defeat the Sky Pirate and be on our way. Please, remain here." Aloa urged her, then prepared to reenter the fight.

Nadeline watched, exasperated. Now that her head was clearer, she hated the entire situation. Why was she fighting, really? Because Emelia refused to come home? Or because things were happening out of her control? Wait a moment...the weapon Vlyn and Aloa were after...it's Emelia? Nadeline realized. Then the weapon Reia wants is her? That cannot be! Is that why she ran away?

Emiri fought desperately against the ice, to no avail. It was as if she was frozen solid! Her cheek was also burning at this point--what in the world did that Viera have on her heels? She couldn't even speak, and she felt cold to the bone. Shoot, she was going for Jaakuna, wasn't she? Just as that thought crossed her mind, however, she felt a warmth. It was still difficult, but she was able to start moving again. Was that him? It didn't matter, but now she certainly wasn't going to stop. The more she struggled, the more feeling she had, so she continued.

Meanwhile, Vlyn wasn't too prepared for Jaakuna's attack. The magicks behind the wave were much stronger then he had anticipated, and the Viera was sent flying backwards. He could feel his skin burning somewhat, and as he got to his feet, he admitted that the Sky Pirate was stronger then he initially thought. But the fight would be over soon, now that his trump card had arrived. Aloa charged at the pair, firing Blizzaga after Blizzaga at Jaakuna. She then lunged at him with a kick.

-----

Roman smiled at the approaching general, amused at her statement. He certainly was a fool, but at the moment, he needed her to get her thoughts straight. "Come now, Savayna, he isn't all that bad--he did choose you for a wife, once upon a time." He replied without missing a beat, though he did lose some joviality as he continued, "Tell me, my dear, what is it that you truly want? Not only is this situation simply unforgivable, it is very much unlike you. You are a wise woman, pray tell what has possessed you to take such drastic measures?"

Jaakuna’s attack had worked as, when he landed, he saw that Vlyn took the full force of his attack and was sent back. The burning smell of his flesh made Jaakuna smile. It was not for the fact that he injured another person, but that maybe Vlyn would stop underestimating him and start actually taking him serious. However, as Jaakuna was just about to revel in what he just did, he caught the frosty chill of several blizzaga spell coming in for him.

As they did, Jaakuna instantly activated Firaga on his Iga Blade, with a defensive measure taken, the blade itself was glowing red like a tomato as the fire magicks started to fend off the blizzagas one by one via Jaakuna swinging his swords side to side. As he did that, the ice spells themselves were deflected back at Aloa as she came down for a kick. Then, Jaakuna proceeded to unleash his Firaga along with the Blizzagas. So, in order, the blizzagas would be first and if that failed, a firaga spell would follow.
Hearing the words right out of Ramon’s mouth was pretty amusing for Savayna. Him joking that his brother choosing her as a wife. “Oh you kill me with your kindness, Ramon.” Savayna laughed. Well, maybe it was more of a chuckle than a full-on laugh.

As she listened to him further, she was sure that he did not know. Oh thank the gods, he didn’t even know. Savayna definitely had all the cards in her hand and they guarateed her freedom and immunity. “My word, you really don’t know do you?” She said doing a full on laugh, “Ramon, maybe Jaakuna isn’t the dumbest brother after all.” She laughed and laughed.

"I digress, Savayna. I may be a fool as you say afterall. Now I beseech you to answer me." Roman frowned. Certainly, she was an enigma at the moment. Perhaps she really did go crazy. Still, he needed to get to the bottom of this, and she was being difficult. He himself was growing weary of her many insults and jokes. One of his men was being held hostage in there and was counting on him to get him home safely.

------

Freedom felt sweet, though Emiri shivered quite violently as she tried to get the feeling back in her fingers. Her teeth chattered, though she controlled it as she began to hack away at the remaining ice at her feet. Once fully freed, Emiri was about to turn and get back into the battle, only for a certain blonde general to catch her eye. So Savayna was here after all!

She looked back to Jaakuna, and was admittedly impressed; Vlyn had been knocked back, and Aloa was currently being barraged by her own spells. Still, for the moment, this was a chance she needed to take to get them out of here. As she made to go to Jaakuna, her wrist was grabbed. Emiri looked to see a very sorry Nadeline.

"Emelia...I..." She began, only to get cut off as Emiri took her hands into hers.

"I told you, my name is Emiri." She gently reminded her. "Emelia is no more. I refuse to be the doll that I once was. I cannot return to Rozarria, you must understand. I beg of you, forget me. Forget my face, forget my name." The blonde nodded, releasing her. Emiri then stepped back, and as time froze around them, ran to Jaakuna. She took his hand, bringing him into the frozen time. "Quickly, we have a chance to leave." She urged him, pulling him along.

As the two ran however, Emiri felt weak. It was as if something was pulling the Mist from her, preventing her from fully using her powers. It was an odd and terrifying feeling. Moments they would fade in and out, but she was determined to get them to safety. Unconsciously she gripped Jaakuna's hands tighter, and they circled around the frozen Marquis and General. Quickly making their way into the Aerodome, she made a beeline for the Ifrit.

Once time resumed, they were already inside the ship. "Hurry!" She told him, unable to freeze time any longer as whatever was yanking at her Mist released her grip on time.
