Name - Walter Chuck Warner

Personality - Hilarious, loyal and tenacious
Powers - shape-shifting: Walter has the ability to alter his molecules and cellular structure which allows him transform into pretty much anything he can think of, this includes both animate and inanimate objects, that includes things that touch his body such as his clothes. When he transforms into things that normally are not alive, he can still talk and move as if it is alive, for example if Walter was to change into a sandwich then he would still be able to see, hear, and talk as if the sandwich was alive. He also is not limited to real things, he loves shape-shifting into fictional characters but doesn't have any of their abilities. His shape-shifting abilities also allows him to partially transform his body and gain power from the partial transformation such as turning his skin into extremely dense metals, and making himself very gooey to protect him from fatal attacks. He can also alter the size of the things he changes into, but he does have a limit on the maximum size of the transformation, and the biggest thing he can transform into is a T-rex.
Weaknesses - although he is a great shape-shifter, he does have several weaknesses, one of his main weaknesses is radiation which can drain him of his abilities and the more radiation there is the faster it will take away his powers. He can slow the proses by turning his skin into led but it will eventually drain him of his power. Another weakness is that when he transforms into large things rapidly then it can give him fatigue, and it takes up energy to stay in his transformed state for a long time and the bigger the form is the more energy it takes to maintain it, and If he uses up too much energy than he can slip into unconsciousness. Walt is not good at long distance fighting so pretty much all of his methods of attack have to be up close against his enemies.
Appearance -

BRIEF Bio - Walt was a boy who grew up on hilarious cartoons such as the Loony Tunes, Disney shorts and Tom&Jerry, in the beautiful city of San Diego. His childhood was spent mostly buy thinking up many ideas for cartoons that he planned to create when he was older. At one point during his freshmen year at high school, Walt went on a school trip to a cartoon studio and he was fascinated at witnessing the process of crafting cartoons. The people at the studio showed them a special type of ink that was made from a combination of chemicals. But outside the studio the weather soon started to change and a thunderstorm started up. While Walter was holding a bottle of the special ink, a lightning bolt went through the window and hit the bottle. Walt was hit by a huge amount of electricity and the chemicals in the ink slashed onto him, altering his body's cells and molecular structure.

The next thing he knew, he awoke in a hospital and was told that it was a miracle that he was still alive and not permanently injured. After he was let out of the hospital, he soon discovered that he had the ability to shape-shift into all sorts of things. Not too long afterwards, he decided to become a costumed crime fighter and took the name Shifter. His heroic exploits had a good start, but his rash attitude made him make several mistakes and screw up during some acts of heroism which resulted in civilians being hurt. Eventually he caught the attention of the hero Animal and the hero decided to take him under his wing seeing that the youthful hero needed guidance. Walt was honored to be under the tutelage of veteran hero like Animal Man and he remembered that his mentor had once been a member of the Justice League. With Animal Man to guide him, Walt had a firm hand to keep him on the right path of heroics.

Despite things looking bright for Walt, tragedy struck when his mother was killed by drunk driver while he was away doing heroics and showing off to the press. He had blamed himself for her death for a while, had he not been away feeding his ego he could have been with her when it happened and saved her. But instead his ego had gotten in the way. A few Months after his mother's death, Walt went back to being a funny guy, his father believed that it was Walt's way of coping with the loss and it was true, but deep down he still felt guilty for her death. It's been about a year since Walt has been mentored by Animal Man and he treats the hero like he is a member of his family. It had also been four months since his mother died and he still feels the guilt but he won't show to people who knows, not even the ones he cares about. Walt now only hopes that his he can use his acts of heroics to save as many lives as possible from sharing tragic fates like his mother's and sparing their families the pain of losing a loved one. He has also grown a big sense of loyalty to his friends and comrades, and almost always refuses to give up when in a bad situation.

Appearance

Magnus is just under 6' tall, with broad shoulders that taper too slim hips, a wolf-lean physique that grants him great speed and strength. His hair grows wild and course, with a beard that most would call untamable. His eyes are a piercing blue that seem almost canine. His teeth look a touch to long and sharp, more animal than human.

When he transforms he becomes a 6'7" tall bipedal wolf-man. His head is large and lupine with bright, blue eyes and massive canine jaws ending in rows of sharp teeth. His shoulders are muscular but not too heavy for his frame, arms long and powerful. His legs are digitigrade and both fingers and toes have long, tough talons capable of shredding through armour plating. He also has a tufty tail, one that is constantly getting in his way, however it also helps him keep his balance. Pardoning the pun he is wolf lean without a shred of fat on his body. His entire form is covered in thick, coarse black hair. His one piece of clothing is a concession that shows he has not yet completely abandoned his humanity or his modesty, a pair of tattered grey cargo shorts that cover his manhood.

BRIEF Bio

Fittingly enough Magnus Boyle was born in Alaska, on a balmy midsummer night during a full moon in 2002. His parents were overjoyed with their lusty, new-born baby boy, However when he grew his baby inch long canines and chewed through the furniture things weren't quite as jovial. From then on it was obvious Magnus wasn't a normal boy. He never got sick, he would howl at the moon, tore his fluffy stuffed bunny into shreds with his teeth, all sorts of stuff that would be hard to justify as 'normal'. He was never violent to his family or friends but it was off-putting enough to warrant a visit to the family doctor.

They tried to keep Magnus's peculiarities a secret from the world at large, but secrets have a habit of getting found out. No one is sure were they came from but in the year 2012
several black vans were seen around the Boyles' home town. Shortly after that Magnus went missing. His parents still search to this day, but they have never found so much as a whisker of their son. Secretly he was captured by a highly classified agency with the goal of creating their own meta-powered army, led by the sinister Dr Gretta Tante. Eventually Magnus escaped, but not before they had turned him into an unrecognisable Wolfman.

Magnus 'assisted' Hawkman in taking down a League of Shadows assassin cell that was set to remove a politician from office. I say assisst, but it would be more accurate to say that the Wolf brutalised the ninja's before Hawkman stepped in, stopping Magnus from tearing the assassins limb from limb. The two fought, as heroes usually do upon first meeting, with Hawkman gaining the upper hand after a lengthy fight. The Feathered Avenger was impressed with Magnus's sheer power, but realised his savagery could become extremely destructive if left unchecked, and decided to take the pup under his wing, so to speak. Eventually Fenrir joined the original Young Justice team, taking part in the efforts against Shrapnel and Deathstroke, but left after a feeling abandoned by his team mates and a disastrous battle with an Atlantean mutant.

What's changed

Fenrir left the team after losing faith in his 'Pack', instead deciding to try and return to Alaska and reunite with his parents. Unfortunatly Grannies agents were waiting for him there, and almost managed to recapture the young meta. After this last affront Fenrir has began to wage a personal war against Granny and her forces, not surprisingly showing an aptitude for solitary warfare. He has become more aggresive in his time away, more likely to allow the Wolf to have it's way. The man he is now is not the one that left the Pack.

He has developed in power and skill, becoming stronger, faster and deadlier. Hawkman, not quite approving of this new turn of events has still netherthless resolved to train his ward to the best of his ability. As such Fenrir is a better combatant, tactician and hunter than he was before, as well as far more experienced with his heightened senses.

Mostly his war has been a shadow war, a silent game of cat and mouse between him and his prey, though some of it has spilled out into the streets, including one highly televised battle against a group of Grannie's minions named the three little pigs on the streets of New York, after which the media have dubbed him 'The Big Bad Wolf'.

Shape Shifting - Jain is able to assume the form of any humanoid target she/he wants down to their DNA or assume the form of an aggregate.

Empathy - She/ he can sense the emotions of living beings and use the information to tailor her reactions to theirs.

Mind Control - Selective/Limited Range (touch) - Using this ability Jain is able to loosen her/his target's inhibitions causing them to give into their lust, greed or other negative emotions.

Mental Illusion - Limited Range (touch) - using this ability Jain can create false impressions of her/his target's location and environment

Enhanced Physiology - Jain is faster (Able to run at 45 mph), stronger (Lift 1 ton), see in low light/Ultra violet/infrared, adaptive digestion (she can consume any carbon based items an convert it into calories), rapid healing rate (Jain recovers from wounds and illnesses 5Xs faster than humans and cannot be affected by radiation, disease or toxins)

Weaknesses - Jain is obsessive about exposing those who abuse their power and therefore often views authorities with intense suspicion.
She is afraid of Labs, Hospitals and similar structures and this fear limits her time she can spend in them to 15 minutes, 5 if the doors are closed
Jain often assumes the desired type of the most dominate being around her/his self and has no true form.

Appearance - Jain has no true form and may assume any form she desires or she senses desired, if he/she is rendered unconscious Jain retains the last form but can shift to a desired form if someone else touches he/she and pictures another desired form but can sometimes be found in the feminine form of her mentor



BRIEF Bio - Jain's origins are as mysterious as she is. She is suspected of being an altered Meta Human, or o clone using the Cadmus method which was used to create the DNAliens.. It is at this point unknown which of these suppositions is correct or if either is correct due to her ability to absorb the DNA codes of living things. This ability seems to mirror Dr. Steven Bryant's Project Gia proposal but as there is no evidence that he ever began work on the project. Gia was meant to be a Bio-Organic Colonizing unit that could contain DNA Samples of all forms of life on earth then give birth to them, but, this is purely conjecture.

What is known is that she was being trained by a dark organization possibly connected to the League of Assassins to be a spy/assassin of frightening potential.
Her project code was Jainus so named after the two faced god.
Those who trained her employed brutal methods that often seemed more like torture than anything else caring little of any psychological damage they might be doing to their subject.

Eventually Jain as he/she had begun referring to themselves as decided they would not do the bidding of so cruel of masters. Using her/his special abilities Jain escaped captivity and began running. The nefarious organization sent retrieval squads to bring Jain back but each one failed.

Jain seeing no end to his/her pursuit so long as the organization remained intact started a campaign aimed at their exposure an destruction. First she/he attacked and destroyed their political assets then exposed their illegal labs and stripped their bank accounts. So completely and efficiently did she perform her/his self assigned task that none with connection to Jainus remain out of custody.

Jain after four years of war found them self without direction or purpose, he/she was now also hunted by different world governments as an embarrassment.

Jain turned her/his attention to the ones who now chased her exposing many to ruinous scandals. This was when she first began being referred to as Scandal and her targets widened to include anyone in power who she could find dirt on.

It was during this period that she/he encountered Martian Manhunter who was surprised that he couldn't see through her shapeshifting disguise.

J'onn took it on himself to steer her energies towards a more acceptable path but not completely because she'd become obsessed by a hatred of corruption and the abuse of power.

Okay, that list is broad enough you should find a decent mentor/sponsor in there. You don't have to have similar powers, you could just have similar character traits or flaws like one of the League. For example, Giganta if you'll recall was famous for being an enemy of Wonder Woman. She's a reformed villain and in the League now, so you could have a reformed or troubled youth character with her as a sponsor. With the Cure, I just realized most of the League was still older heroes so I tossed Static in there and the Cure is another younger guy, in his mid 20's.

That's the reason why I am using Walt because he is silly and loves to make jokes. Patriot didn't work out because he is better used for stories than roleplaying, some characters just don't work with this style of story telling, Walt will work better since I have used him before.

BRIEF Bio - Jin lost her parents at a young age, and was on the streets not long after. Years of struggling to survive turned an innocent child to a clever, capable pickpocket. She grew more and more confident, until one day she decided to enter the more upper-class part of Gotham. She picked the wrong mark- Bruce Wayne. While she managed to sneak his wallet, she didn't get much farther than that. Wayne was no fool, and he caught up to her long enough to get his wallet back. The young thief vanished- only to be visited hours later by Batman himself. He offered her something no one else had: hope.

What's Changed - Jin was already starting to crack after the loss of a teammate and the devastating attack on their base. When she slept through a trouble alarm and (in her mind) abandoned her teammates, she knew that she was nearing rock bottom. With some help from Black Canary, she began to seek therapy for her nightmares, insomnia, and the deeper issues involving her trauma. It's been rather touch and go, as therapy goes; some sessions, some weeks, some months have been better than others. She seems to be more grounded and focused... but where that focus may have turned remains to be seen.

She's also gotten a bit more womanly, losing a bit of her androgynous shape during a late growth spurt. She has visible boobs now and she HATES them. ("Does the B in B-cup stand for Bullshit? How am I supposed to fight with these... things on me?")
Notes - *Besides Batman's fondness for scooping up orphans, Batman saw something in Jin- potential. He knew that if she was left on the streets, she'd probably become a very adept, very dangerous criminal within the next 5-10 years. So he decided to turn the path of her destiny, and use her untapped potential for something good.

*Jin's weakness to open spaces is linked to the way she uses her telekinesis to fly. She can't fly for real- what she is actually doing is using her powers to basically fling herself from one point to another, relying on the momentum from each sucessful push to keep her airborne. With nothing to push herself off of, she can't go too high or fast, and has to rely on hovering over the ground.
