Personality: Russell is appreciative of his job. In that he has a fascination as to why people do what they do. What motivates them to do what they do or have those thoughts is why he does his job, and that drive and curiosity also fuels his life. He is not afraid to ask the hard questions or say what's on his mind even if it's not a welcomed question or statement, but chances are likely that everyone else is thinking it. While his honesty at times can get him into a lot of trouble, or cost him friends, Russell makes no apologies for that part of his personality.

Russell though does have a wicked sarcastic wit that he uses to get to know people, and while at times his honesty and sarcasm can be a bit off putting he is very loyal to those that he calls his friends. Russell also believes in helping others when he can because that also helps him learn about others and how they will respond to someone who is willing to help them. Will they in turn help others or just say "thanks" and be on their way?

To help deal with the tension in his job or the tension that builds within himself Russell enjoys working out, playing the sax, poker, and sharing laughs with his friends over a few drinks.

Writing Sample:

The A-I virtual butler called Sivers made a pinging sound at 7:00 am and Russell said as he rolled over in bed, "Sivers ten more minutes." The pining sound stopped and Russell put his hand on an empty pillow. Russell then opened his eyes and rolled over to find an empty spot next to him. He sat up and looked around the room and asked, "Sivers where's Erica?"

A voice said, "Miss Andrews departed at 6:35 sir. She did leave a message for you."

Russell replied, "Play back."

A holographic image of an attractive brown haired, blue eyed young woman materialized and said, "Hey Russ I need to get to going I gotta a lot of meetings to finish detailing today and a luncheon to oversee...." she looked away and then looked back at Russell and said, "Last night was great, but I'm not sure about us still. We still have a lot of issues and I want to work on them, but I'm not sure about when or if we should in the long run. I'll call you later."

The image dematerialized and Russell just stared out into empty space. He and Erica had been on this relationship roller-coaster for the last 6 months, and maybe it was time to get off once and for all.

Russell said, "Sivers delete message."

Sivers replied, "Message deleted sir."

Russell said, "Sivers. Hypothesis; What are the chances of Erica calling me back? Given the known parameters."

Sivers replied, "Given the parameters of your personality, Miss Andrews' personality, the patterns of your contact with one another, and her vocal tone and body language from her message I hypothesize the percentage of Miss Andrews contacting you at less than 10% at this time."

Russell shook his head and said, "10%? My friend you are being far too optimistic." Russell got out of bed and made his way to the kitchen and grabbed a protein bar and a small glass of orange juice.

Once he finished both Russell went back to his bedroom and put on a pair of sweats. He stood before a door and said, "Sivers prepare the V-R weight room. Setting a basement in one of the poorer sections of town. Middle of the night, 3 others in there no interaction at this time."

Sivers replied after 3 seconds, "Your weight room is ready. It is now 7:15 and you are to be at 9. When shall I remind you?"

Russell replied, "Go for 8:10. Anyone calls or comes to the door take a message. Unless..."

Sivers replied, "Unless it is Miss Andrews understood sir."

Russell opened the door and stepped in and closed the door to begin his workout.

Name: Aurora Faye

Appearance / Writing Sample: Seated in a lecture hall, bent over a doodle-ridden notebook, is a young girl barely into her freshman year at the Universty of Chicago. Light brown hair falls to her shoulders and curls at the ends, giving her hair a bouncy, playful look. She moves her left hand up to readjust the pair of large, circular, wire-rimmed glasses that grace her petit, childish nose. Across both cheeks are a field of light freckles; all in all, she's adorable. She sits in a desk, legs crossed at the ankle, focused intently on a notebook full of doodles; her posture and build seem delightfully bright, almost abnormally in fact. The bell rings, she sits up straight and stretches her arms over her head, closes the notebook, and stands up. Looking around the room, she seems drastically shorter than her classmates, standing a mere five foot five. (i.e. 165cm)

Stacking her notebook atop a textbook she clenches them tightly to her chest as she leaves the lecture hall. The soft pitter-patter of rain hitting concrete is interrupted by her running through it; she hurries across the sidewalk towards the Erasure Agency. Turning into an alleyway and nearing the building, Aurora's foot cataches hold of a hole in the pavement and she is sent flying onto the ground and landing with a splash as stray papers are strewn across the wet concrete. Dazed, she lays stagnant in the puddle for a moment before pulling herself up onto her knees, albeit weakly. She reaches out, gathering up the now-drenched papers and her books; looking up into the sky she sighs and pulls herself to her feet. She moves somewhat calmly, slowly, to the end of the alley and looks out across the street. An older gentleman holding an umbrella strolls by, offering a gummy smile to the down-trodden Aurora. Near instantly she perks up and returns the smile to the man before hurrying her way across the street and into the lobby of the Agency.

With her head bent downward, focusing intently on the motions of her own feet, she slides into an empty locker room. Walking around the perimeter of the room, her index finger is extended as she mutters the names on the lockers she passes; finally she comes to a halt in front of a locker across which it reads 'FAYE.' Aurora leans in and turns the knob several times before the door is released; she reaches inside and takes hold of a small grey pair of shorts and a white tanktop. She reaches down with both hands to her collar and slowly unbuttons her shirt; she casts the shirt into the locker and throws the tanktop over her head. She moves her hands down to grip the edge of her skirt, pulling it down and swapping it out with the pair of shorts. She sighs as she removes her glasses and folds them, setting them neatly on a shelf in the locker; she pulls her hair back into a pony-tail, fasting it with a bright pink band. She gazes at herself in the mirror on the inside of her locker's door, looking up and down her length a few times before sighing and closing the door. She takes her leave of the locker room to a small gym, not that she'll get much accomplished.

Personality: At first glance Aurora appears to be an immensely shy person; however, beneath her timidity, she appears to be fairly child-like in both body and spirit. Her positivity is nigh unworldly, almost always being able to make light of a poor situation. She's also unsurprisingly naïve, particularly when it comes to romance. She also seems to have a penchant for sweets, particularly pastries. Of particular note is her wanton attitude towards the Erasure Program; this comes about from her having been taught from a young age by her father, who was an Erasure Agent himself, that the Erasure Program is particularly good because it helps to save lives.

I have returned from work. First.... FUCK. THE. FUCKING. ICE. I didn't crash or anything, but fuck me if I'm not tired of this snow and ice destroying the roads in SOUTHEAST America. What the hell >>.

Secondly, both MST and Noodle are excepted! I see nothing wrong with your profiles(Except that Faye is kind of young, but that will actually play well into the plot if developed right). All I'm awaiting now is Gordian and Rockette. Depending on time frame, I may start up earlier(read: Tomorrow or the next day) and they can come in the intro after their sheets are put up.

Southeast? Hey we in the Northeast decided to share some of our misery with you all. I saw my first patch of grass without snow anywhere near it today and almost cried. Yesterday we got up to 33 and I thought, "Wow it's almost balmy!" This winter has proven one thing about me...if I was in one of those disaster movies like "The Day After Tomorrow"....I'd be one of those ones who dies during the first reel.

@Doctor - Sorry, I skipped over James somehow. His new persona is fine with me. Given that you guys don't know how Erasures work(in a scene) and the details I've held back, I'm more eager to see how these characters with these personality types will deal with things lol.

And Noodle... I'll add you guys lol. I was being lazy and watching True Detective.

Okay, as for the setting, this is where you guys can get a bit creative. I have a picture ready and waiting for the futuristic Chicago, but you guys are free to make up technology to suit your scenes as you see fit. Like in my writing sample, I described a railway system in which cars use to get around as opposed to traditional roads because I thought it was more interesting than flying cars and ships. I'll put a section in the OP explaining the basics of the setting, but you guys are free to come up with future tech in your scenes so long as it has nothing to do with weapons of any kind.

In this future, advanced technology has not advanced the technological proficiency of weaponry. For weapons, we're still 21st century - guns with firing pins, hammers, slides, and the ammunition available in real life. There are plot reasons for this and I know it's not realistic of a world that would have progressed so far. Other than that though, insert future tech into the scenes you write as you wish.
