Do you think I could remove the personality section of my CS? After looking over it, I realise I don't like it, and it's so restricting for future encounters possibly.

@The Scotsman, I do believe you can yes. I'm sure I remember threedawg stating something about this, as long as it is shown through the roleplay, it should be okay. He'd have to take you up on it though.

You can remove it, sure. Honestly, I have no problem with people not adhering to their character's stated personalities because change is ineluctable. One of the rules is to try to be realistic, that's all. So regardless of your character's personality or how brave they are, if they're surrounded by ten raiders with guns pointed, they probably shouldn't try to be badasses unless they have a death wish in which case, that's fine hehe.

That's all fair enough. If you ever have an issue with my posts, let me know, I'm a nice enough guy haha. Also, just so you don't assume I'm trying to OP my guy, he was pretty good at paintballing, so I'm giving him some decent leeway with a rifle, hope that's alright.

Going to add another weapon to character's inventory. It's just a slingshot he uses for killing rodents.

Scotsman, that wasn't directed you at all and I'm sorry if it appeared that way. It was a very general comment which is why I set it as one of the rules; it applies to us all! Even though your character is a sharpshooter, I'm sure he wouldn't try to take on 10 guys at once at point blank range so it's all good haha

Warrior, that's fine.

No no, I figured that, it was just in case, a fore-warning? Thanks anyway

There are no heroes in my zombie apocalypse!

Dragon, you can do what you want, helping Cam is optional. Don't ever feel you have any obligations towards myself or my beautiful, precious characters.

Name:
Jason Parsons, will respond to JP, Jason, and Jay

Age:
22

Height:
6 foot 1 inch

Weight:
180 lbs

Appearance:

History:
There is not much to be said about Jason before the outbreak. He was not a city boy, or a country boy. Jason lived in a Minnesota suburb until he was finished with High School. From there he went on to college in Florida. Jason's college days were spent mainly doing three things; partying, studying, and working. For 3 years that is almost all he did, and he enjoyed it. Near the end of the summer before his final year of college, Jason found himself in Chicago on a lay-over back to Florida. There were no friends of his with him, and most of his belongings were aboard the plane still. Before the flight could take off, all flights were cancelled. Jason, not wanting to wait around for until they were running again, decided to take a bus. At first it was going well, he was on the outskirts of Chicago. But before long, things went sour. The bus was called back into Chicago, and again, Jason tried finding another way out of the city. This time, via a couple that was heading back to their home in Georgia. After a few hours of figuring out a plan, the trio left. Within an hour they were in deadlocked traffic, and again Jason was faced with a wait. This time, he decided to wait. A decision that would affect his life poorly.

It is not often that Jason discusses the events that transpired in the early days of the outbreak, but it is obvious that he came face to face with the horrors and reality of it at an early stage. Almost two months later, Jason found himself traveling with a rowdy pack of highwaymen, rapists, thieves, murderers, and all other kinds of unsavory characters. Again, he usually avoids discussing how he came to be with the group. However, he is open enough when it comes to talking about the things he did and saw. The crimes that Jason committed while running with the group were numerous. He raped, he murdered, he stole, and a number of other things. In fact, Jason slowly came to the realization that he loved doing what he was doing. Evil seemed to suit him well.

Things were going very well. Months had passed and Jason had been skating by quite comfortably. The majority of the run ins he had with the infected, and non-infected, were "fun". Stress and worry had been far from his mind for a very long time. Then, one night, things changed. He was not faced with a moral dilemma or kicked out of his merry band. Something more spiritual happened. Jason had a dream. To most, his dream would sound like just a random dream, one of those ones that you think about after waking up but not for too long. It was simple in nature. A light burned bright in front of him, the outline of a person stood in the middle of it. The figure spoke to Jason briefly before disappearing and waking Jason up. "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.".

With a new lease on life, Jason took to the road, alone. He did not become a fanatical religious man after the dream, it just managed to frighten him. It made him change is ways. Jason did not know where he was, or where he was going. All he knew was that he needed to surround himself with others to keep himself going. After days of walking, he finally found himself somewhere he recognized. Chicago.

Personality:
This section would restrict my writing too much. I am not putting a personality type here.

Weapon:
A semi-automatic Colt 1911 and a fair amount of ammunition, as well as a curved brush machete.

Nevermind... Weren't we in a roleplay together? Did you happen to GM one about the government trying to hide a conspiracy and a few teenagers escaped? I vaguely remember this.

@Vertical: Approved. The personality section is there to help us understand more about the character but you don't have to rigidly adhere to it. The ammo limit is capped at 60 bullets, by the way.

@TWCross: Yeah, that sucks. The last post in your scenario was 2 days ago. You can either wait another day for Shadow to post or you can find some in-story reason to exit the scenario.

From now on, I think any new scenarios should have some information regarding the desired post speed. For example, whoever posts Scenario 6 should start it with something like:

Scenario #6 (Open to anyone who commits to making x amount of posts per day)

Whoever joins that scenario will then know that they are expected to make x amount of posts. If they fail to do so, they must allow you to either explicitly or implicitly control their characters to advance the plot. With scenarios that only have two players, it'd be best to use that implication to end the scenario by saying the characters part way etc.

Being post-locked sucks, I feel your pain. It has a stultifying effect on both creativity and motivation.

The idea with there being a apocalyptic radio station kinda reminds me of Fallout, in which there is a radio station what just plays old timey music.
