[OOC] Beyond the Borderlands

The whole 'roll for initiate' thing was more of a joke than anything. There isn't really a set posting order unless you're interesting with someone directly. You can post when you want, and once everyone has, I'll post.

So...couple of questions before I get to posting.
1. How did we get to the planet? Like, did we all arrive together, or separately through separate means.
2. What kind of things are on Metis?
3. What kind of areas are there?
4. Are we all in the same area?

How you all got to Metis is up to you. We will get the characters all grouped together soon, but not right now.

Metis doesn't have the wastelands that Pandora , but instead large forests and hills. They also have elaborate cave systems, but I'll get to that later.

The largest and most populous town on the planet is Middlemist, and is right next to a huge ass waterfall that covers the town in mist most days.

Other than the big forest, there is also a mountainous area, as well as two polar ice caps that can be traveled to, some islands, and a rock quarry.

Motorbiker.
-Bike: Digistructs her custom built motorbike to drive on. Capable of boosting like ordinary vehicles. Can launch itself into the air using thrusters and is also capable of limited flight by having wheels transform into 4 fans that generate lift and using thrusters to move around. Also has its own shield that reflects bullets back at the ones who shot them.
-Reloading: Remarkably well, using only one hand to reload pistols and submachine guns in the span of a second.
-Eagle eye: Able to perceive critical spots with ease.

Weapons/accessories: Prefers pistols and submachine guns, especially those from Jakobs and Vladof. Managed to get her hands on an Infinity pistol with shock ability.
Personality: Seemingly indifferent towards almost everything. Few things can get her to show emotion, but when something does, expect it to be something that demands your attention.
Likes/preferences: Jakobs and Vladof weapons, speed, vehicles, the color brown, Tediore weapons.
Dislikes: Torgue weapons, raisins, anyone that touches her bike without permission.
Biography: Michelle lived with a single father who was a mechanic. Naturally, Michelle learned how to work on vehicles just like her father. When she was young, her first few attempts were well on par with her father's handiwork. As she grew up, she took it a step further, adding her own designs into her work, making her vehicles run smoother, faster, and more efficiently. Her designs were considered to be some of the best on the planet she was on.
However, her work was also criticized because of the fact that she was female. Michelle knew that the ones giving these criticisms were other mechanics whose sales were slightly slipping due to her designs being superior, so she thought nothing of them. At least, she didn't until some came to her home to try to steal her designs for themselves. Things did not end well. For the thieves, I mean, because Michelle had also taught herself how to use a gun. The thieves were badly wounded in the arms, unable to continue their work anymore, and Michelle was charged for assault. Angered by the way she was treated, she left the planet, taking her most prized bike with her, and set off to make her own destiny.

Class and description of class: Digistructor: Nove is a tech head, being able to shape and craft all manyweapons or other such things. Tbhough she has a combat style, which is based around the use of Digistructing. Unlike most she has a hyper advanced personal Digistruct device which allows not only weapons but other person sized objects as well, such as cover or even serving as a 'new you' station if upgraded. The hyper unit takes the form of the scarf on her back, which gets longer the more things are blueprinted into it. This class is based around team defense while also providing a heavy KICK to single enemies with the large weapons that can be stored.
Weapons/accessories:
Atlas Prototype 1337 Rail-gun: Atlas Railgun. It seems about 5 years old but the thing is still big and still packs one hell of a punch! It is meant for taking out armored targets but needs to recharge for a good amount of time before being able to be fired again...
Atlas Original Revolver: A hand built Atlas revolver, not even been digied once! IT is kept at her hip instead of folded into the hyper pack.
2x Atlas SMG's: Basic SMG's from Atlas.
Goggles: Being able to see in dark spaces or protect your eyes from wielding is important when designing weapons, and that is just what these are for.
Ji: Her digi pet. Sits on her shoulder and is basically unkillable since it will always respawn on her shoulder if killed.
Personality: Intelligence and creativity are things that she holds in high regard when talking about herself, so much in fact that it may seem like she is more than a little cocky at times, though at least she can back up those words with cold hard fact. Other than this she takes great pride in Atlas made weaponry and acts like kind of a nerd when around other lovers of weapons or P&M {Planets and Monsters table top game}.

Likes/preferences: Weapons, machines, Atlas, Gun nuts, Tech, Daddy
Dislikes: Being talked down too, people shooting at her, people that are real downers, Mother....

Echo Log 0001: "She was born today... Such a tiny and fragile life. I will protect her, as her father it is my duty. Damn, heh, I am just so happy!"
Echo Log 0472: "Nova is almost two years old! I decided to make her a pet... The first time I make anything that is not meant for killing, but pure protection. The little thing is made from Digi but is as if a new life. She named it Ji after something from TV. So CUTE!"
Echo Log 0643: "She asked about my work today. What am I meant to tell her? Her daddy is the leading man in weapons that kill people?... She will have to know someday, but not today. Dammit! Ji is in the lab again!"
Echo Log 1374: "She found out today... It was... Surprising? She took to it so easily. I honestly blame TV for this, then again she is my daughter so it is possible it is in the blood? I should research that the next time I am free."
Echo Log 1945: "A young adult and she is making headway that rivals, and may even be better than my own. That girl is a demon with weapons tech. Even got our new prototype rail gun working! Heh, I hope we can work together more."
Echo Log 3636: "Shes gone... Gone to follow her own dreams, took the old Railgun too. At least it ent the newer model. Said she was off to join those Crimson guys that use to be from the company. I wonder how we will meet again, though I do hope she doesn't get into trouble out there. Oh my baby girl, be safe..."
