Yes, this is still going. I'll be busy until this weekend due to schoolwork, but I'll hopefully be working on it by Friday night.

And yes, there is all the freedom you need in term of races, classes, backgrounds and so on. I believe heavily in being able to create as you see fit, as long as your character isn't an "overpowered" character, you'll be accepted. I'll be filling you all in what you need to know in terms of Lucis and future Earth, but aside from that, create as you see fit, ;o.

Cool, cool, because I've got like, this entire land and culture for orcs that I've been dying to put into play. I can message you a sort of "Notes" on what I've gotten so far, and where my character comes in in all of it.

Alright, that's fine. That being said, do you guys want to design Lucis with your backstory over me telling you about it? I'll tell you about you'd find there (magic, technology, weapons, etc), but races, religion, clans, land and the like is all by your own world-building? Same with Earth as well?

The OOC is now up. It has minimal information, but it at least has character sheets to be filled over the course of the next few days. Will work on it when I get the opportunity to do so. I would feel that Earth would be in a similar state to that of COD: Advanced Warfare or something along those lines. Fairly advance with exoskeleton suits and walker tanks but no super star wars stuff since the year is only 2066. Trailer helps describe what I mean:

At least for tech level. As for the actual state of the world. I would say that borders haven't dramatically changed or anything. Maybe with the new world and such Earth's United Nations now is more important that ever, passing key resolutions on transport, immigration, and trade between the worlds. So maybe a slightly more unified earth? Perhaps just before the portal opened, earth had been recovering from World War Three or some major conflict?
