Alright I'll officially accept Zero's character so he can post in the IC if he desires. Those who are coming in will be a part of Mariemaia's faction and they haven't been doing much aside from a few raids and setting up defenses in their military compound. I have labeled out all of the characters and where they are now. I'll be explaining what happened to Exia's spare GN Drive later as it did indeed survive the wrecking of Reve's life.

I thought I made it clear in the RTJ that the character left Zeon- he's kind of mad at them for turning him into a cyborg with no feeling in his arms or legs, constant migraines, and cyberpsychosis. Additionally, he operates as a mercenary- someone who fights for a cause in exchange for money or services rather than moral views or political obligations.

Alright fair enough I interpreted it that he left just because he hated Rommel. If that's how it is I'll allow it but I will warn you we are entering part 2 and a gouf while still a decent unit may fall short in some cases. If you're still fine with that then I'll accept the character.

Alright, you know, I've thought about it a bit and to show some goodwill and that I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass I'll take you up on your offer and change machines to something of my choosing in the Zeta line. I still think the panic over Gaplant being a "mobile armor" and having shotguns was entirely unwarranted, but rather than kind of sit here and have to consider constantly underperforming to avoid being slapped with a powergamer tag and a forced switch down the line I'll just swap now. I'll be busy for the next few hours but I'll throw you the details over PM tonight or tomorrow.

Alright fair enough I guess. I was fine with how it was but if it's still bugging you then feel free to change it. I was just going to avoid giving you exclusively close range units too fight.

It's less bugging me and more I feel it'll be less annoying for everyone involved that I don't have to be constantly toning stuff down because of some perception the unit is too powerful and you don't have to be constantly looking out to see if I should switch, which I'd definitely find bothersome. Besides, I can make stuff with the Zeta Plus line work better from a character story perspective.

If you'd rather, I could just start from the Gouf Custom, with the Gouf RF as the final upgrade.

It'd probably be a better suit to start out with than what you have right now in my opinion. If you want the normal gouf that's fine but this is the last part of chapter 1 anyone who starts out with their base suit here will need to wait a half a chapter before getting their upgrade.

If you want to further justify the OYW-fielded Gouf Custom keeping up with more advanced machines, there's precedents for Zeon units being upgraded throughout the years with newer materials and technologies. Ironically one of those was Desert Rommel's own machine in ZZ, the Dwadge Reformation which could mount a humongous beam cannon and give the Zeta some trouble despite being essentially a souped up Dom. Then you have the Efreet Schneid (the purple one with a lot of knives) that turns up for a cameo in Gundam Unicorn, and Return of Johnny Ridden has Uma Lighting's custom Gelgoog which is souped up to match machines a decade more advanced.

Biography:

The Youngest of three, and the only girl Sarah was the spoiled one. Her youth was spent with little care. That was until her 13th birthday. Her Older Brother, Gabriel, was taken by the UNE because they learned he was a Newtype. And it wasn't even a week later until they came back looking for her.

If things in the UNE were bad for Gabriel, Sarah had it much much worse. After the initial tests confirmed she was a Newtype as well she was carted off to a special facility where her abilities were "tested and refined", Which really meant the poor girl was tortured as they pushed her to her limits as a Newtype. And for the next five years she was placed through Special Training and conditioning to make her one of the best Soldiers the UNE would ever see. Now at the age of 18 and the top of her "Class" she was chosen to join the war against the SRA, she was given a Gundam Leopard and stationed at a key communications base planet side.

The Leopard worked wonders as Sarah was engaged in a few battles in the last leg of the war. her Leopard was perfect for defense and she was able to hold off many advances of the SRA. Sarah became overconfident in her skill not giving an inch to any enemies who came her way. But two days before the Colonies fell Sarah had reported a signal coming from somewhere nearby and disappeared. The UNE thought that she had either gone AWOL or was ambushed, but were unable to confirm her whereabouts before the Colonies fell and sent the world to hell.

The unit's a bit strong even though Sarah is just going to be a side unit for a bit. However it seems to be really focused on heavy damage and it may leave it open to high speed units. Does anyone have a problem with this unit?

But part of the unit's backstory is that it actually kills pilots because it's so fast and maneuverable, which of course is rendered moot when the character's backstory is that she can handle it no problem and is an unstoppable newtype spacewar ace.

Going by the available english-speaking info and the Gundam X show:
-A pair of extending claws built into the arms that can crush and smash MS apart
-They also mount beam sabers which may or may not be reactor powered, certainly not painted as removable regular sabers
-They also mount beam cannons they can use even while folded into the MS's arms
-A pair of pincers built into the legs, the same weapon type tore apart MS so heavily armored they could tank beam shots
-A triple chest canon that can fire in a wide area, the same weapon type is regarded as second only to the Satellite Cannon in power
-A pair of superheated wire weapons that can cut MS down and are designed specifically to null funnels

Basically, it mounts the gimmick weapons of the final bosses of Gundam X in one machine, an anti funnel weapon that was an enemy of the week's special weapon, a newtype-specific system that further enhances the pilot's control over a unit that's supposedly capable of high enough speeds that they're detrimental to the pilot's life, and the backstory necessary to minimize or outright ignore the how piloting this machine was apparently suicidal. So, yes, a bit of a problem here given the whole combo of things. I mean it's fine for an endgame unit I guess, at least it's not a "mobile armor".

Yeahhhh.... I went back over our conversation when I was first going to bring in this character and saw we came to that conclusion already. So i changed it up to what we had agreed upon then. also changed the Bio to match. hope that's better.
