This is an rp based on Greek Mythology. It is set right after the fall of the Titans and the beginning of the rule of the Gods. Obviously I am going to take some license here (some gods/goddesses that didn't appear until later will be in this rp), but otherwise this rp will be about the gods of Olympus asserting their control over the world, finding their places and revealing themselves to mankind in order to be worshiped.
You can make a God/Goddess, Demi-God, a Human Follower or a Titan plotting revenge. There were several Titans that Zeus punished with various tasks (Atlas holding up the world on his shoulders, Cronos carrying the temple of Pandora on his back, ect)

Rules :
1. No fighting in the OOC. That means no name-calling, bullying or passive-aggressive behavior
2. Take all sexual scenes over PG13 to PM
3. No OP characters. Yes, I know we are playing as Gods/Goddesses, but I still do not want over powered characters running around. Be aware of the limitations and abilities of your God/Goddess. Example : I can't imagine Poseidon doing well with fire or Hades being comfortable with the sun. At the same time, if you try to fight a God/Goddess on their turf, expect to get your a$$ kicked. I for one am not about to fight Apollo in the bright sunlight or take on Ares on the battlefield. Does any of this make any sense? I hope so...
4. Do not ignore anyone and try to post regularly. If you can't post for a while, let us know and we can work around your character. If you don't post for a while and I see that you are posting other places I will assume you lost interest and your character will either be killed off, NPC'd or put up for adoption to a good home.
5. You can have as many characters as you can handle.
6. I reserve the right to add other rules if needed.

Powers: can pull the life force out of living things, disappear/travel through shadows and darkness
Brief Bio: The daughter of Demeter, Goddess of the Harvest. Persephone was picking flowers in one of her mother's fields when Hades abducted her to be his bride. Her mother protested this to Zeus, who ordered Hades to return Persephone. But before he did so, Hades tricked Persephone into eating seeds from his garden. Since she partook of food of the Underworld Persephone was trapped there. Demeter, distraught by this, mourned for her daughter for months. Crops withered and died and would not grow back. Finally the outcries of the mortals were heard by Zeus who decreed that Persephone must spend half of the year in the Underworld with Hades and half in the realm above with her mother in order to make everyone happy. But while Persephone is gone Demeter mourns, hence the winter months where nothing grows.
Persephone hates Hades, but she also loves him. She hates the powers she has acquired as Queen of the Underworld, having been taught by her mother to respect and give life. She spends her time in the Underworld depressed at being surrounded by the dead. Everything mortal she touches, be it a flower or an animal, dies.
She has often thought about escape, but if presented with the opportunity would she even take it...?

Powers: Aeolus is the warden of all the Winds (anemoi). He can stop them or start them at his own will.
Brief Bio: Aeolus is very hard to describe, he is said to be 3 different people at once he is said to be the son of Poseidon, son of Hellen and also the son of Hippotes.

( kind of hard to find what exactly Aeolus what like so I can't give an actual personality for hik.

Brief Bio: Hades, Greek God of the Underworld, Oldest Brother to Zeus and Poseidon, First Born of Kronos The King of Titans, one of the top most feared Gods in Greek mythology, Feared by mortals mainly, respected by the Sisters Three (Fates), forced a Marriage to Persephone, The Goddess of Harvest in Greek Myth, Is know to drag mortals to their fate by his powers or the creatures of the Underworld, Watches over the prison known as Tarturus, the prison of the Titans.

Name: Artemis
Goddess of: The hunt, the moon, protector of maidens.
Powers: Uncanny accuracy with her bow, some control over hearts and affection (She uses it to protect maidens from unwanted advances) control over animal behavior (She made it originally so that they run away from hunters. She never influences them to make the hunt easy.)
Bio: Artemis is considered cold, calculating, and unfriendly by almost all who meet her. The only people she’s really ever nice to are the maidens in her band of huntresses. As for her opinions on the other gods/goddesses, well… She doesn’t much care for Apollo, as he’s very irresponsible. Cupid she holds a grudge against, because he’s stolen many of her maidens. She’s on good terms with Persephone and Hades. Not so much with Poseidon and Zeus. She’s friends with Athena, because several of her huntresses are Athena’s daughters, and they share their calculating mindset, and she’s friends with Roma for the same reason. She’s acquainted with Nyx, or at least as much as one could be acquainted with a terrifying elemental.

Powers: Make any man fall in love with her, make any two people fall in love, make anything beautiful, see the utmost desires of one's heart, charm & persuasion
Brief Bio: Born of Zeus and Dione, Aphrodite was always considered the most beautiful of the goddesses. Hence why Zeus married her off to the deformed Hephaestus to avoid a butting of heads amongst gods vying for her. But marriage could not tame her. She’s had other lovers, but has settled on Ares as who she truly loves, renouncing the others while still committing adultery against her husband. Faithfully unfaithful, she calls it. She is sweet and of course, loving, tender hearted. While teasing and flirtatious at times she is genuine with her heart. She is more comfortable in intimate settings, where she can become the sole center of attention. She enjoys crowds, and parties, but they put her on edge if she is not paid enough attention for her taste. Like most that love whole heartedly, she also can hate furiously when scorned. She has an uneasy relationship with most of the goddesses, though they tend to come to her when they need help in the love department. She is general liked by the male deities.
