We also have a Zabrak, and I'm waiting on my Kaleesh to get approval.

Well, a Zabrak is a near-human Kaleesh... I'll give you that one on not being anything close to a human.

Yeah, because they're technically Reptilian! Yay for reptilian species.. What species were you planning on, If I may ask? We also, now that I looked, have Lorrdians and Miralukans. Which, again, near-human-but still.

I was thinking Besalisk. I'm big into starfighters and what not, and I wanted a species that represented my own personal wander lust while still not being a fan of combat except when seen as necessary.

Oh, like that dude who ran that cafe in Episode two! Cool. I'd recommend Trandoshan as well. Bossk was my favorite bounty Hunter until I discovered that the Mandalorians were essentially Ancient Sparta in space. I'd presume(so I can't be made an ass) you'd go military with the Besalisk?

No I was actually going to go Jedi like everyone else... Besalisks couldn't do life in the military they just sought new things and got bored really easily (Kinda like I do :P) so being on patrol and what not would get boring and they'd just go AWOL. With the Jedi they can explore go wherever they went and have no real routine so it fits better.

Not a fan of Trandoshans myself.

I might switch her out to Falleen just to make her more alien, though I sort of built the profile around Zabrak culture. I figured Zabrak were pretty alien, but technically they are near-human.

Edit: People are still updating their sheets and working on them, and I want to handle approvals all at once. Rest assured, I've read sheets and I'm keeping track. I'm sorry if I'm not always communicative at times, as I am dealing with some other business as well as this, but I'm around this afternoon for whatever anyone needs to ask me.

As you are here, what do you think about the concept of a Jedi Ace?

HeySeuss, since I need to have my Kaleesh know at least two PCs, I read over your Zabrak's profile. I'd like my character to know yours in some way. And to be clear, have the Mandalorians sieged Taris yet? I wanted to have my Kaleesh, Valek's previous master die while on a diplomatic mission to Taris while he himself was elsewhere.

@Sep: Go for it. I can't ensure that he'll always be piloting though, since the campaign is oriented towards ground operations or operations on board a ship and similar. But I'm sure we can work out tasks for pilots.

@Deathstroke: Taris got hit, yeah. Taris was actually attacked before the Revanchists got permission to form the Mercy corps, so at this point, Taris is occupied by the Mandalorians.

Heyseuss, if it makes it easier, I've been nicknamed DSW by another advanced game I did. Also, thank you. Taris was hit in the year the game is set, and I was unclear if the Mercy Corps was formed before or after the siege of Taris.

Also, to be in the mercy corps, how much do you have to know about the Revanchists' cause? My Kaleesh is merely a Padawan.

Odds are, most of the jedi that joined it are pretty dedicated to the idea of the Republic and the greater good and that means having to fight for it. They probably have philosophical differences with the Masters who generally want to sit back and not interfere. Odds are. a lot of the recruiting was done with the insistence that the Republic they are supposed to uphold is being destroyed, but I would think that the news carries a lot of information on what's going on. On the other hand, other parts of the Republic manage to pretend there isn't a war on. Coruscant, for example.

As a Kaleesh, his view of war is that it is a necessary part of life. He has not heard of Revan or the Revanchists cause, rather he most likely signed up for defense against the atrocities the Mandalorians committed. The Council KNEW what happened on Cathar, and still did not lend full support. With word going around of what the Mandalorians did on Cathar, it was probably his code of honor that drove him to IRSOG.

That said, do you know of any Jedi training facilities near Kalee, given that it's in Wild Space?

There are various Praexums that are ship-based, so that's entirely doable as well.

As a Padawan, he still ran away, so what really got him in IRSOG was that Republic military command hands off padawans to the first jedi they can find. And the Jedi authorities in charge of the mercy corps, ie. Revan, are assigning padawans to those jedi out of convenience.

Thanks. I'm hoping that Sundered Echo will allow me to be the Miraluka's Padawan, but like the in-game situation, I'm just waiting for any Jedi that will take me.

As acquaintances go, Would you be open to Valek knowing Ihna Zhiss? He comes across as arrogant, brash, and condescending, but as an idealist against injustices like slavery and prejudice. I was thinking that she knew his master, and thus they met as acquaintances. Also, how tall is she?

Thanks. Given that he's 7" tall, I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to write him interacting wrongly.

The only questionable there I see is Juyo; it's a pretty advanced technique for a Padawan, and it's also thought to put users in danger of the dark side. I'd say that in the post-Great Sith War environment, the study would be discouraged to a degree, and probably not permitted for a youngling or Padawan, especially one that is thought to have control issues anyway.

My bad, my bad!

Would Ateru be a suitable replacement?
