### Sophia Skyheart - Noble of Lugere **Username:** Aphelion **Age:** 17 **Gender:** Female **Allegiance:** Lugere **Weapon:** Outwardly, an ornate walking cane is all that serves as a weapon in this fragile girl's hands. The cane itself is intricately carved into the likeness of an Articuno, it's long tail plumes making the length of the cane with it's head staring imperiously at the sky, it's wings outspread as if taking flight. However, the cane is secretly a rapier that she avoids using if at all possible, and will only draw it to defend herself. (picture coming soon) **Appearance:** ![sophia skyheart](http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff54/sanieko/Janemerefull1812484_zps2e61381c.jpg "Sophia Skyheart") Sophia is slim and extremely pale, as if her skin has had very little chance to be graced by the sunlight. Her thick flaxen colored hair reaches the back of her knees, and she normally wears it in a french-braid that her maids have to painstakingly braid every morning, and un-braid every night. She is normally seen in white lacy dresses, or sapphire ball gowns, though she tends to wear more practical beartic fur rimmed coats and boots with sapphire leggings while outdoors. Along her collarbone is the emblem of her House, tattooed on with "faintly glowing sapphire ink." (see story) **Personality:** Sophia seems gentle because of her frail body, but a fire burns within this young noble girl's heart: a fire to see that she serves the royal family to the best of her abilities as the Heiress of Skyheart, to bring honor to her lineage. She seeks to make her House proud, but holds a deep self-doubt because of her physical limitations. She will do everything she can to hide her own weakness, but her fragility often gets the better of her. That being said, while her physical prowess is severely limited, her mind has been honed into an exquisite tool, though she often doubts herself. She will think situations through before delving into unheeded danger, and will concede confrontations if she sees no value in their outcome. Many think she is an airhead or coward because of this. She gets excited easily and finds fascination in new things and people, she will seek to find the best in everything. She is quick to smile and quicker to laugh, with an innocence about her only gleamed through a sheltered life. She is naive about street-smarts, as most of her intelligence comes from books and theory crafting, but she tries her best to adapt to any new environments. She is often too trusting of people, and is one of the few nobles she knows that doesn't feel unsettled by Morphs - she's very interested in them, actually, seeing them as more amazing than just the average human. She is set with a wanderlust that tears between her loyalties and her true, innate desires. She wishes to travel the world, seeing every place there is to see, knowing every pokemon there is to know. She wishes to take flight with her pokemon, Neva, and leave behind responsibilty, but knows she cannot escape her honor-bound duty. As far as socializing goes, Sophia is the heart-throb of many other noble boys her age. Whether they seek her power as one of the closest and most influential Houses serving the royal family, or seek her for her supposed pale gentle beauty, Sophia pretends to be oblivious. Beyond this front, Sophia is insanely shy and skittish around boys her age, though her heart has leapt for a boy or two in the past. Despite all this, she has no true friends, save her pokemon, with only acquaintances among nobles and servants who are fond of her. **Biography:** Seventeen years ago when Sophia was born, it was during one of the coldest winters Lugere had seen in a century. A fierce blizzard rattled the Skyheart manor to it's core, and complications arose in her birth, from the cold as well as from other things. Her mother, Elise, nearly died from giving birth to Sophia. Their disappointment when they found out that Sophia was a girl was like an avalanche. For nearly two hundred years, they had, had male heirs, and their house had a steady gain in wealth throughout those years. A female heir was a sign of bad luck: an omen, so they believed with every fiber of their beings. There was talk to give her to a lesser House to foster and for her parents to try for a male heir, which her parents considered just based on superstition. However, they were dumbfounded when the doctors told Sophia's parents that Sophia was the only child that they would be able to have, as Sophia's birth had caused detrimental damage to Elise. The circumstances of her birth made her time growing up hard, though her parents made sure the servants attended her, they rarely gave her attention themselves, and only then it was her father coming to see her on special occasions. She was confined to her rooms because of her frail body, and only allowed out when the servants deemed it was safe for her. She grew to hate the indoors, and would stare longingly to the skies outside her windows. To keep her mind occupied for lengthy periods of time, she would read. Anything that the servants would, or could bring to her, she would devour. She learned many things, from how to properly raise pokemon, to noble-court politics, to the art of war. It was many years before her mother came to speak with her. Elise had been grieving her failure to the Skyheart House, but heard peculiar news from the servants. Though her daughter was frail, Sophia was apparently brilliant, years beyond her own age in literature and politics. Elise had disregarded the news for a time, until the servants showed her the essays and journals Sophia had written. This was around the time Sophia was ten, that she finally got to speak _with_ her own mother. Elise was dubious at first, but became more impressed by her daughter the longer they spoke, and her mother realized that Sophia was not a failure to Skyheart, or Lugere, at all. In fact, her daughter could battle in ways that the male heirs of the family could not, and perhaps more cunningly than ever. Elise put a lot of stock into Sophia, and began to send her in for proper education, in etiquette, pokemon battling, in arithmetic - in anything Sophia showed even the slightest amount of interest in. Sophia learned to play the violin as a side venture, and became rather good at it, as many nobles have sought her to play in their manors - in any physical arena, however, she ultimately failed, though she did put up an effort in fencing. She still takes fencing to this day, and has gotten considerably better since she started - but she lacks the strength and stamina to keep up prolonged fights. To put it simply, after seven years of regular training she's at the level a normal person would be physically speaking after fencing for a year. She understands the skills and theories better than a person with only a year of training, but her body can't manage them in rapid succession, as would be required in true battle. When it was clear that Sophia was being groomed into a capable heiress, her father decided to introduce her to the family's guardian, a stoic articuno whose guardianship was passed on from the Head of Skyheart to the next heir on his or her fifteenth birthday in a very secret ritual only known to the Head and his heir. Normally the articuno was seen as lofty, above bothering with the affairs of humans, and would live in the Hoarfrost Temple doing as it pleased. The temple was host to only that which articuno let live there, and is a structure that was said to be crafted by articuno itself, made entirely from seemingly never-melting ice. The ritual of guardianship took place in the middle of the grand temple, while articuno stared from it's high perch among the icy pillars. When Sophia came into the temple, shivering despite the furs encasing her slim body, articuno stared down at the pair as was expected. Without preamble, father began to prep for the ceremony and was giving her instructions. She was to remove her hood and cloak, which she did obediently, though the cold seeped through her bones and made her shiver all the more. All of the sudden they heard a loud _**SHHHRCKK**_ from above, as if ice was shattering, and then an unearthly [cry](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK_cZJsTqws). Looking up, Sophia had no time to brace herself as articuno launched itself off of a cracked pillar and landed in such a gust of wind that Sophia nearly fell over, and would have if her father hadn't caught her. Awed and speechless, her father bowed reverently before articuno. Little did Sophia know, this had been unprecedented in their known history, that articuno would show even the slightest bit of interest in the humans it was supposedly guarding. Without truly realizing what she was doing, Sophia walked unsteadily forward and placed a hand on articuno's beak. The legendary bird stared at her imperiously, as if taking in her worth. Behind her, her father made guttural noises, as if he were going to choke: he feared that his daughter was insulting articuno. To everyone's surprise, articuno lunged at Sophia's neck and grazed it's beak along her collarbone, all the while letting out a series of beautiful cries. Sophia was too stunned to move, thinking that the legendary bird was going to kill her, but when her father moved to pull Sophia away, articuno screeched at him and flung it's wings protectively around Sophia, the subsequent gust sending her father reeling backwards. Sophia had to assure articuno that it was alright before it would move it's wings out of her way, and let her leave with her father. As she was walking away she noticed in shock that she didn't feel cold, as if she was wearing her fur lined coat, even though it lay in the snow ten feet away. Articuno came from Hoarfrost Temple to the nearby Skyheart estate when Sophia didn't return the next day, another event that hadn't happened in living memory. Articuno's odd behavior, along with her newly branded emblem, marked her as a truly special to the House, though it took a week or so for her father to calm down enough to let her go to the temple again with the legendary pokemon. The rest of her family, from cousins to aunts and uncles, finally began to recognize her as the Heiress and treated her with more respect than they had in the past. Her and articuno's friendship was awkward at first, as nobody living knew how to interact with the usually stoic pokemon and Sophia would make mistakes, but with time they began to understand each other. These days, Sophia counts articuno as one of her greatest strengths, and she has nicknamed the pokemon Neva. She seeks to use Neva and the power of her House to aid Lugere in their conflicts with Ayero, as is expected of her, though she doesn't know what to think of the current festering hostilities. **Other:** [We rise and we fall](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y9oQ2uaYJE), [unable to always stand tall](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y9oQ2uaYJE). [It gives us strength and heart](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y9oQ2uaYJE), [to not give up at the start](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y9oQ2uaYJE). ------ ### Neva **Species:** Articuno **Nickname:** Neva (NAY-vuh) **Gender:** Genderless (though Sophia sometimes refers to it as _he_) **Appearance:** ![neva](http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff54/sanieko/shiny_articuno_by_kyogre635-d54tw7p_zps5b45892b.jpg "Neva the Articuno") Neva was born generations ago, perhaps at the founding of Lugere, with the emblem of House Skyheart like a birthmark on it's chest (picture of the emblem coming soon). It has been outfitted with carved diamonds on it's talons, inset with sapphires and aquamarines to show off the splendor of House Skyheart. On the top of it's wings, lightweight metal armor with intricate scroll work designs and diamonds protect them from stray or aimed attacks. On the crown of it's head rests a helmet crafted so that it doesn't impede Neva's sight or movement, curving down to the middle of it's forehead, then back up and away the eyes to the sides of it's head, where it clasps underneath it's jaw with a belt made from elastic material, so it stretches easily. **Personality/History:** Neva is usually watchful and stoic, preferring the world of pokemon to the world of humans, and is unusually generous with it's territory for an articuno, letting pokemon of normal, ice, and flying types live in the Hoarfrost Temple as long as they respect the articuno's boundaries. Neva has spent countless years watching the Skyheart family and it's leaders, and prefers the females over the males, though the articuno used to brand any heir, regardless of gender, long ago. Over the last two hundred years, Neva got increasingly putt-off by the male-heirs who would come to try to get their brand from it. They were demanding when Neva began being more aloof, and eventually tried to leash Neva so that they could control the articuno as they pleased. Needless to say, Neva got so upset that it killed the potential heir. From then on, it began to stay in it's roost and wouldn't join in the silly rituals of the humans. Neva watched as the ritual slowly began to change, as the men of Skyheart forgot that Neva would brand the heir so they would gain the articuno's protection, that's what the passing of guardianship _actually_ meant. That was, until **she** came. Neva felt that it was time in it's very bones that a change was coming, something magnificent. A small figure walked into the articuno's territory, along with the man Neva knew as the current leader, and began the ritual. When the smaller human took off it's hood and cloak, articuno realized _this_ was it. A woman, the very person that the articuno had been dying to brand. In it's excitement, the articuno leapt from it's roost, shattering the ice and claimed the girl that it came to know as Sophia as it's own. It wouldn't let this chance escape it, not _ever_. Neva is exceptionally protective of Sophia, perhaps more so than it ought to be. The articuno has been scolded more than once or twice by her for being overly aggressive, but Neva is usually kind to other pokemon, though it has an extreme distaste for fire or electric types. The articuno finds the idea of Morphs extremely unsettling, but will not make any move towards them unless they try to harm Sophia. **Moveset:** [Hail](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Hail_(move)), [Blizzard](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Blizzard_(move)), [Fly](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Fly_(move)), [Roost](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Roost_(move)) **Ability:** [Snow Cloak](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Snow_Cloak_(Ability)) ----------- ### Corivana Espada - Dread Pirate Vana of Ayero **Username** Aphelion **Age:** 25 **Gender:** Female **Allegiance:** Ayero **Weapon:** She carries around a little trove of weapons on her person, from her rapier, to her dual scimitars, to her trusty boomerang. She has been trained in the use of all, but excels at dual-weapons combat above all else, but she will adapt as needed. In battle she can be a dirty fighter, as she only cares about the win above the methods, and has been trained in hand-to-hand martial arts to round out her repertoire. **Appearance:** ![corivana espada](http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff54/sanieko/pirate1_zps3b931b7b.jpg "Corivana Espada") She loves to play up her appearance as much as possible, almost like an actor on a stage. She typically wears the go-to pirate attire, save for when she swims. During those times, she will wear tight fitting shorts and a brassiere, if given the chance to change. She will wear her short-cut coat slung over her shoulders, rather than actually wearing it through the sleeves. On the left side of her torso is a tattoo spanning from her shoulder all the way down her waist. Her brunette hair shimmers with faint red highlights, and her amber eye is slightly slanted. She usually has a smirk playing on her lips, and will bow flamboyantly before any lady she deems worthy of her attentions. She walks with swagger only adhered by those who have traversed the open seas, though she will make hers more exaggerated on purpose at times. While she isn't exactly thin-as-a-rail, she isn't plump by any means. She carries lithe muscle on her body, toned to excellence. The only plump part about her is her bust-line, which is above average in it's girth. She's learned to maneuver around it during combat so it doesn't impede her. In the pack attached to her belt she carries small bottles of sake, rum and wine along with a deck of playing cards. The deck of cards itself is water-pokemon themed, something she's continuously amused by. **Personality:** She's one might expect of a debonair, swashbuckling pirate. She loves to play "games" while she performs her duties, but she will go deathly serious when she feels the occasion calls for it - which isn't often. She is lightly sarcastic, confident and self-assured, and prefers not to take anything too seriously outside of combat, much to the chagrin of her family. She loves to loaf around, soaking up the sun or swimming in the oceans. Her favorite pass-times are drinking any form of booze, or flirting with the females she encounters - she particularly enjoys sweeping the fair gender off of their feet and making them feel beautiful. Many people have questioned her sexuality, but she's always grinned at them with a tip of her hat and been about her way, with no true reply one way or another. She gets along with men as well, but usually sees them as rivals and will meet them toe-to-toe in any combative arena they choose, from card games, to sword fighting, to fisticuffs. The one thing she definitively hates is using pokemon as tools in battle. She refuses to use her pokemon as much as possible, another thing her family has come to regret dearly about her. She will do the work herself and let Kyo lounge on the side-lines until she desperately needs the help, which she hasn't let happen often. She will run from overwhelming fights, then turn around to lay traps. That's just the kind of person she is: play smart, not dumb. **Biography:** The House of Espada is not quite the typical House as it is a lineage of sea-faring war heroes and generals serving the higher ranking nobility, and royalty, of Ayero. The children of Espada all serve their country in some fashion, whether in battle, in guard, or in farming. They have been called the "House of Guards" or the "Sword of Ayero", and even more rarely, the "Grocers of Ayero" for their plentiful farm lands that they guard with an iron-fist from would-be pillagers. They do not shy away from their given nicknames, and instead take pride in their humble services, but in the last twenty years their house has fallen on some disrepute and decline in wealth. Because of this, they have been pushing their children to take up the banner and restore their house to it's former glory. Corivana was no exception to this rule, although she was far from the strict and upright personality her House expected of her. She was mischievous, rowdy, and she favored the company of females to a questionable extent, often flirting with the girls around her. Her behavior caused her mentors to be extra hard on her, though she would laugh off their attempts and continue her shenanigans until she was quite thoroughly finished. Her mentors, though they did teach her, were more like her parents and friends as well. The children of Espada were raised in a communal setting, with the elders of the families giving lessons and reprimands in turn to all children till they reached adulthood. All the adults capable of still working their professions focused on their craft, even if that meant hardly seeing their own children. From tradition they knew that their offspring were in esteemed hands of the elders. Her biggest endeavor of tomfoolery changed everything for her. She was nineteen and her mentors were pushing for her to go into the King's Guard, many of them shared the opinion that she was perhaps the best dual-weapons fighter they had seen in many years, when she decided to take her lessons seriously, that is. Corivana fought that notion with every fiber of her being, though she made it look like laziness. She hated the idea of being confined to strict rules and prissy nobles, bowing her head before those who never knew a day's worth of hard work in their lives. So, to make sure she would never be trusted in such a position, she decided to commit a taboo within her family: she trespassed on the sacred grounds of their patron deity, Kyogre. Commandeering a ship to get to the island was the easy part, finding her way into the center where a massive cove holding Kyogre was said to be was the much more difficult part. She could try to scale the rough mountain on top of the island and pray that a path led down into the cove, or she could try underneath the swirling currents of the ocean to find the cave that supposedly led straight to the legendary pokemon's hidey-hole. Her heart sang for the challenge this presented her and needless to say she nearly died going underneath the water, with currents pulling her body this way and that as she desperately sought out air pockets so she could gasp in breaths between swimming further on. She found the venture exhilarating as she made her way slowly to where the cove was supposed to be. Eventually, her head breached the surface where the cove was, and it was unlike anything she had ever seen. The roof far above-head of the cavernous cove was in eternal storm, with an indoor weather-system all it's own. Rain poured, thunder pealed as lightning came down in brief flashes, and in the middle, floating above the water, was the enormous form of Kyogre as it slumbered. All along the sides, where there was land, greenery grew in abundance with the leaves on the plants almost too big to be real, spanning twenty feet or more for each one. Something told her, in her heart, that this was an unwise plan. Being here was suddenly not something she wanted to do, but she couldn't stop her incorrigible nature to delve into trouble. She swam to just below Kyogre and threw a pebble up at the creature. Nothing happened. Corivana was tad disappointed, but she persevered. Instead, she took her boomerang and flung it up at Kyogre, where it slapped against it with a loud, wet sound and came falling back into the water just feet away from her. She gave out an unladylike curse and swam to retrieve the boomerang, but as her hand closed around the curved wood she heard something unusual. _Nothing_. No thunder, no rain pelting down from the indoor rain clouds, no wind. In the absence of all else, a shadow moved along the water, causing her to look up at where the Kyogre _should have_ been. Near her face was one large, piercing yellow eye as the ancient pokemon stared back at her. She couldn't help it, she gulped audibly and gave the Kyogre a small wave as her hand clasped the boomerang that had just awoken the God of the Sea. Only one thought came to her mind at this point. _"I'm freakin' fishbait."_ The events that came after surprised her nearly as much as her mentors back at the Espada estates. Corivana tried to escape by diving back underneath the water to the sea cave leading out, as she expected her rude awakening to piss it off Kyogre royally. Kyogre plunged it's massive body into the water just breathless moments after, coming straight for her. The moments of that fight or flight situation have been ingrained perfectly into her mind, as if etched into her brain by their intensity. She twisted around as she drew her sword from it's scabbard, intent on living even if it meant killing the deity of her family. Kyogre's body began to glow a virulent looking red, casting thousands of different ominous shades of the color throughout the water around them. She lunged as it approached her, her sword aimed for the middle of it's head, but a pulse of water emanated from around Kyogre's mouth and swirled around her body, thrusting the sword out of her hand with such force that it buried itself in the floor of the sea cove. She remained unharmed, if a little bit shell-shocked. Before she could react to it's next action, Kyogre swam with godly speed and came underneath her, then propelled them both out of the waters of the cove. She made to jump off the back of Kyogre, to escape it's wrath, but the pokemon wasn't finished with her. She felt a building sensation through it's back, as if geyser was about to blow up, then from it's mouth came a huge blast of water, aimed at the roof of the cove. Rocks began to fall, rocks as large and bigger than Kyogre itself, but the pokemon expertly dodged through them, still keeping her on it's back all the while. She knew she was dead in her heart of hearts, but she was _thrilled_! She had never had so much fun in her life as she had, had riding through that avalanche of boulders. Her heart throbbed in her ears when she stood up on the back of Kyogre to shout her excitement, which echoed back across the rocky island and desolate ocean. From underneath her, Kyogre gave it's own cry to match hers. A feeling of warmth and peace radiated from the creature, and suddenly Corivana found herself confused. She thought it was pissed, but it was playing with her! It had thought the whole venture was a game, the boomerang might as well have been her tickling it awake. When she arrived back at the town, with Kyogre carrying her there above the waters, her entire family was shocked at first, then outraged that she had dared do such a thing. She was practically shunned within her family, this one frivolous and careless action was a step over the edge in their collective opinion, but they couldn't outright ignore that Kyogre chose her as it's companion. They still respected and even worshiped Kyogre. After much thought to how Corivana could pay for waking the slumbering pokemon, they decided that Corivana would serve the royal house of Ayero till her dying breath, with Kyogre as their mascot. She gained a place in the King's Guard, but she hated serving in the palaces and Kyogre was a hindrance with it's large-scale body. They caused many disturbances over the two years that they were there, though none could deny her skill as a combatant, and eventually the Captain of the Guard proposed that she serve her country in a different way: as a Privateer plundering from the ships on the high seas. They reasoned that Kyogre would make for the perfect weapon in that arena, and she could damage trade to Lugere and bring it to their own country all in one decisive action. The higher-ups approved the idea, and Corivana would do _anything_ to escape the strict rules of the palace. She has been secretly serving the country of Ayero as the Dread Pirate Vana, though only the higher ranking officials and royalty know of her service. On the open seas, she prefers to keep the peaceful pokemon out of the fight against the ships she plunders, often jumping on board and demanding their surrender of valuables instead of using outright force. Kyogre has proven as a good bargaining tool, as they will look at the impressive pokemon and usually surrender without a fight, but it wasn't that way in the beginning. Kyogre and her have had some bloody battles in the past, and she strives to keep up her reputation so that they can avoid needless bloodshed, for the people she's plundering as well as for her kind pokemon. During one such battle she lost her left eye, but she's made it into a strength rather than her weakness. With her actions, she has brought favor to her family, who still shun her, but she couldn't care a whit for the fools. She has been recently summoned from her duties on the open sea, for what she doesn't know, but she's heard whisperings that the hostilities between her nation and Lugere might break out into war. **Other:** [Dovie'andi se tovya sagain](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8gzjhlxetM) [It's time to toss the dice](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8gzjhlxetM) [to see where they lie](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8gzjhlxetM). It loves to splash around with her in the water above all else, though it does harbor a mysterious side, perhaps concealing it's true chaotic nature within. When Corivana gets into battles, it watches over her carefully, as she prefers to leave Kyo out of danger - which touched the gentle pokemon's heart. Because of this, Kyogre would never let any real harm come to Corivana. Kyogre has been long since worshiped by the family of Espada, but they don't truly claim the legendary pokemon as their own and have revered it from afar. It was said that one of the Espada family's ancestors used to travel with the legendary pokemon, but none can seem to remember the ancestor's name for the life of them. It has been laying in slumber for some time, though how long is unknown, perhaps even to Kyogre. It awoke to a tickling sensation and found a human girl in the water below it. The girl resembled a woman that Kyogre knew, long ago, and that Kyogre was quite fond of. The girl seemed as if she was playing, so Kyo decided to play back. In their journeys Kyo has gotten just as fond of Corivana as the human woman it used to follow. Corivana's personality is something that Kyogre adores, as this pokemon prefers to go with the flow rather than be hard-pressed about anything. **Moveset:** [Origin Pulse](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Origin_Pulse_(move)), [Surf](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Surf_(move)), [Calm Mind](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Calm_Mind_(move)), [Hyper Beam](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Hyper_Beam_(move)) **Ability:** [Drizzle](http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Drizzle_(Ability))

"I can hear them, sometimes, speaking to me. Can you?"
Usernames: Liriia Name: Aleida Age:25 Gender: Female Allegiance:None - She can't be bothered to care for the silly war. Weapon: A worn, wooden fishing rod. Though an odd choice for a weapon, Aleida uses it as effectively as possible. The end of the line is tipped with a straight, somewhat dull weight rather than a hook, and due to its user's somewhat pacifistic nature it is normally used to trip up opponents and keep them at bay while she attempts to escape the conflict. Appearance: A short, slender woman, Aleida is as average a person as they get... Save for the strange blue markings on her arms, legs, chest, and face. She is rather pretty, with a round, gentle face, soft brown eyes, and a cheery smile that can brighten even the stormiest of days. Her brown hair is short and layered heavily, which allows it to poof up under even the slightest hint of moisture in the air. She stands at about 5'3", weighing a mere 110 lbs, and as true to her weight she isn't exactly the strongest. She has trouble doing extreme exercise, and tires easily, much to Tidal's distress. When overexerted she is known to fall right asleep without a care in the world. Aleida often wanders with a dreamy expression on her face, moving slowly and softly through the land much like a dancer would. Her posture is rather bad, giving her a slight hunch when she sits, and she has a bad habit of pulling out strands of her hair when she is anxious. Light blue tattoos span across her body like stars, gathering below her eyes, around her neck, and all the way across her chest and down her back and legs. They are curiously designed with swirls and dots, and match the ones that dot Tidal's torso and face. Her outfit is rather revealing, with a simple tan cloak covering her top side and a long, pleated skirt covering her bottom. Bandages bind her legs, arms, and chest, hiding the odd, swirling patterns that paint her skin, and she normally has a leather bag over her right arm which holds most of her food and water and anything else that needs to be protected. She rarely wears shoes, and she feels constricted by normal clothes, which normally results in her free-flowing and skin-showing clothes. Personality: As true to her gentle appearance, Aleida is a warm and sweet person. She is naive and oblivious, often running headlong into danger without realizing it, much to Tidal's distress. Though air-headed, she is far from stupid, and when in a stressful situation she can be surprisingly logical, often looking deeper into the chaos to find a way out of the conflict. Her happy-go-lucky attitude is rather infectious, and she is almost never seen without a smile gracing her face. Though normally nice, if pushed too far it is possible to see another side of Aleida, a much harsher, stubborn side, though it does take a lot to really annoy the lax girl. Gentle and motherly, she loves to care for and look after people, finding a feeling completeness when she can be of help to someone. Despite her child-like personality, Aleida can be rather intense, often showing a much more dark side when in danger. Though she dislikes hurting other people and Pokemon, there are times when she can lash out, baring her teeth with an animal-like hiss, but Tidal does well to snap her out of such a phase. She truly dislikes fighting, often finding ways to avoid conflict with her limited resources, but despite this she is extremely brave and stubborn, never backing down from a challenge, despite knowing she may not be able to win. She may be clumsy and naive, but she knows right from wrong, and can often explode and yell at people who may have a different view from her. Thanks to her empathetic nature, she is rather good at bonding with Pokemon and people. There are times where Aleida believes she can hear the voices of the Pokemon around her, though it may just be her intuition and motherly nature telling her what the creature craves or how it feels. Her naivety is her biggest downfall, though, and she has gotten into a lot of trouble due to how easily trusting she can be. Other than that, Aleida loves fishing, napping, and nature in its purest form. She has a strong interest in water type Pokemon, and loves to swim with Tidal whenever she can. Hopelessly dreamy, Aleida constantly gets lost in her daydreams, and is easily distracted by beautiful things. She is very self-conscious of her tattoos, and very, very forgetful. She can often be found walking in circles without realizing it, and can sleep for an entire day if not awoken by an outside source. Naturally introverted, Aleida can get very tired from talking to other beings, and often has to rest on her journey due to her weak body. Biography: Aleida does not remember her home town, her allegiance, or her family. Her mind was blank, heavy, as if a blanket was draped over her brain, stopping her from remembering anything. It was a scorching day when she woke up in an unknown forest, this is the first memory. She was surrounded by trees and bushes, but where she lay was barren and cracked, a dead clearing in an otherwise lush environment. The sun was blaring down on her bare skin, burning the otherwise pale flesh, and everything ached, especially her head, and the second she was about to pass out from the sheer pain that she felt, water suddenly poured drenched her. A cry of a Pokemon, a familiar sound, claimed her half-conscious attention, and at the sight of the Vaporeon that sat just next to her head she remembers smiling and whispering, "Tidal-" Before falling into darkness again. Aleida was later found by a traveler and nursed back to health in a secluded cabin by a friendly family, and in this time she slowly began to realize how dire her situation was. She was in Ayero, an unknown nation to her, and she had a strong case of amnesia. The only thing she could truly remember was her first name, Aleida, and the Vaporeon that never left her side. Though generally confused and upset, she eventually left the family that helped her, feeling as if she were just a freeloader, and she began to wander. Walking across the landscape, she met many people and Pokemon, learning and relearning many things, and there are times when the blank spots in her mind would glow with familiarity, but they would soon vanish again as she was distracted by something. Her journey is simple; find her past, and with the help of Tidal, Aleida truly believes she'll be able to find herself once more. Species: Vaporeon Nickname: Tidal Gender: Male Appearance: Though he is not adorned with any clothing or armor, he does have rather odd tattoos that swirl near his eyes and on his body. The shape and location of the tattoos are similar to the ones that decorate Aleida, but instead of being blue they are pale yellow, making it somewhat difficult for Tidal to hunt in the water due to the bright color. Personality: Tidal is an extremely protective companion, countering Aleida's naive nature with his own distrustful one. He is extremely cautious, though definitely has a motherly side and loves to care for those in need. Somewhat stubborn, he'll remain stoic until he gets his wish, though can be easily wavered when forced by Aleida. With a gentle gaze and a harsh bite, Tidal is Aleida's voice of reason at times, and he seems to have vowed to never leave her side. They are not a master and a pet, they are companions, partners. Friends. Moveset: Surf, Wish, Acid Armor, Aurora Beam Ability: Water Absorb - When hit by water or water-based moves, Tidal is able to absorb the attack and heal slightly. He is also somewhat unaffected by water-type moves.

Username: Raijinslayer Name: Formally called Korrigan Umbraisis, Informally called Korrey Age: 21 Gender: Male Allegiance: Lugere Weapon: Dual-blades Pokemon:
Appearance: He is a very large pokemon, tending to stay outside or fly around. He has weaponized his claws by adding metals coverings, making them much more effcient in their damage dealing. Has a harness for riding that doubles as the straps for securing his armor, light metals and an undercoat of leather, all painted black to allow for stealth missions and such. It also has large pocket and holders, for supplies, enough when full to last them about a month regularly, and a couple months when properly rationed. He has no need for an emblem, as his very form is the crest of the Umbrasis house.
Nickname: Shade
Species: Yveltal
Gender: Male
Move set: Disable:Allows him to temporarily rid a pokemon of the last move they used, Oblivion Wing:An beam of unholy light, which drains the life energy of the targets. Can be used at minimum power, half power, and full power. Heals Yveltal, and can also heal Korrigan, though to a lesser extent, by traveling through their Death Bond, Phantom Force:An attack from the shadows, this move allows Shade to slip into a ghostly dimension through darkness and shadows. When in this shadow state, it can move around, but can only strike from a shadow, all of it's basic attacks now being of a ghost typing. This form can also be used for traveling stealthily over great distances, as well as for helping Korrigan in combat via opening a portal into the world for Korrigan to escape into then opening up another one behind his enemy for him to attack from, or allowing Shade to help by stabbing it's claws through the portals at his enemies. Doesn't affect normal type pokemon, and Korrigan cannot spend a long amount of time in this world, toping at 5 minutes before he has to leave, or else he'll become a ghost himself, Shadow Claw: A simple attack that cloaks Shade's claws in ghostly shadows, increasing their attack power. These shadows do not affect normal type pokemon.
Ability:Dark Aura, Ups the power of Dark type moves
Personality: In the past, before he made an allegiance to the house Umbrasis, he was a highly feared being, taking lives with a breath and eternally at battle with his rival,Xerneas. He would decimate villages and towns that rose against him, and would only stop when they agreed to pay him tribute. This all ended when a young noble biy of the then small Umbrasis family set off to tame him. Shade was unimpressed by the boy, quickly defeating him, and was about to steal his soul, when the boy asked him a question. Why did he live like this, alone in his lair, doing nothing but inspire fear in the hearts of those around him. This question froze Shade in his tracks, for he was unsure of how to reply. His life of chaos was all he knew, but when he thought back to it, he didn't derive any true joy from it. But it was his first instinct since his creation, to bring forth destruction to all. Conflicted, Shade asked the boy what he should do, if not burn the world down. To this the boy replied,"Why not instead protect it from the darkness." This confused Shade, wasn't he darkness incarnate. When he posed his question to the boy, the boy shook his head, stating that the fact that he could ask that with any uncertainty proved that there was more to him than what he thought, what everyone believed. On that day, Shade agreed to become the protector of House Umbrasis, and under his guardianship, the house quickly rose to power to become one of the highest in the land. The house Umbrasis has produced some of the finest warriors of the nation, gaining much praise on that front. But only one thing cast a shadow over their glory. Nowadays, Shade is a rather vain pokemon, even for a legendary. He must alway look his best, no matter what he's doing. And he's arrogant too, tending to under estimate his enemies if they look to plain or unsuited for battle. When it comes to humans, he finds them rather annoying for the most part, with the exception being Korrigan and some of those he associated with. He is not completely without compassion, however, as can be seen in his attitude concerning Korrigan. He feels very guilty of the fact that he has condemned one so bright and innocent to a certain death sentence, but the choosing ceremony is final. This guilt causes him to differ to Korrigan's judegement, even when he knows better. Morphs don't truly interest him outside of combat. So what if they can change into pokemon, they exist and he feels humanity should get over it.
Appearance:
Korrigan is around 6'2, with spiked red hair. Due to his connection with Shade, strengthened by the fact of their impending death. Korrigan's eyes have become red with dark sclera, which can even glow when he becomes infuriated. He usually wears an outfit of light metal armors, painted black to reduce glare and up stealth, as well as an undercoat of leather armor for added protection. When not expecting battle, he wears some rather plain clothes of dark colors, only thing separating them from peasant clothes is the quality of their cloth.
Personality: Korrey is a rather laid back individual, not really caring that he's part of the aristocracy, which makes him popular with his family's subjects. He is however, an avid battler, and roams the country side to hunt down, uh I mean happen upon, trainers to battle. But he only picks those who seem like they'll be a challenge. He also has a special place in his heart for Shade, who has served his family loyally for generation. He is also completely clueless about women and romance, tending not to want to deal with it in favor of battling. Biography: Korrey is the black sheep of the Umbraisis family. While the rest of his family is a serious group of nobles, he just isn't. Thus it was a surprise to everyone in his family, when Yveltal, their family Guardian, chose him as his new master upon the untimely death of Reginald Umbarisis, Korrey's uncle. The choosing ceremony is always done during the funeral of the previous master, so as the power of their death will give him the ability to choose someone with the greatest compatibility with him. On that day, something unprecedented happened, for when Yveltal spread his wings over Reginald's corpse, he let out a unatural screech as what seemed like part of his very essence flowed from his body and crept toward a 9 year old Korrey. Before his choosing, Korrey had dark brown hair and brilliant blue eyes, but they became dyed by shadows of death and destruction, and from Korrey flowed a white mist that shot towards Yveltal like a spear. Everything that Yveltal is was shared with him, and vice versa. Korrigan was comatose for about a week before he woke up. When he did, however, he cried great sobbing tears. For in that death-like sleep, he learned of the dark secret of the Umbrasis clan. Every 500 years or so, Yveltal must be reborn so as he can continue his immortal life. This rebirth has a cost however, a the sacrifice of a human that is compatible with Yveltal. Reginald was supposed to be the sacrifice, but he was killed in a surprised raid by bandits, struck down by a Morph that was in their mix. Now, the duty of sacrifice fell to him, his date of death to be on his 29th birthday. Due to this, Korrigan has taken to leaving his life how he sees fit, and taking big chances when ever he can. He has no fear of death, for it has loomed over him since he was a child. This lack of fear was also the driving force to one of his greatest crimes amongst his family members, committed only days after his choosing. The Umbrasis family had captured a Noibat Morph seven years back, and had been keeping at as slave. The only one to show the poor creature any kindness was Korrigan and some of the servants. On the day that his world was shattered, he felt that no one should be chained up for the whole of their lives, that everyone deserves freedom. He freed the Morph, which soon evolved into a Noivern, and rushed through the castle until it made it to open air and freedom. Yveltal was called to pursue it, but Korrigan ordered him to stay put and ignore the orders anyone but him. And so, he ignored it. Korrigan became near reviled by all but his immediate family, seen as a Morph sympathizer. The only reason they didn't call for his death was because that meant someone else would have to take up the mantle as the human sacrifice, something none of them were eager to do. Other:
Quote: "If your not here to battle me, then go away. If you don't, I have a 400 pound god of Death for you to bother instead. I'm sure it'll end wonderfully, so have fun, okay."
His sword are named 'Ragnarok' and 'Apocalypse'. Both are black with a tribal-like design of Yveltal etched into the blade in red. They are also made from the metal of a Haxorus Tusk, making them highly adept at cutting through the scales and hides of any pokemon with a Dragon typing. Shade doesn't need to eat much, as he gets most of his nourishment from absorbing the life energy from his surroundings.[/hider] Username: Raijinslayer Name: John Flares Age: 20 Gender: Male Allegiance: Ayero Weapon: A mace and shield, Smash and Bash Pokemon:
Appearance: She doesn't wear any armor, her scales being tough enough, but she does have a type of mark of her master, a flaming axe, branded on her back
Nickname: Axia
Species: Haxorus
Gender: Female
Move set: Outrage: Axia goes enters a madness induced rampage, dragonic power flowing out of her in huge amounts. After it ends, however, she enters a confused state where she is rather vulnerable and likely to hurt herself, Dragon Claw:Axia coats her tusks in Dragonic energy, drastically increasing the attack power. The energy doesn't affect Fairy types., Dragon Dance: Axia does a dance made up of swift powerful movements. This temporarily enhances the flow of Dragonic energy in her body, allowing her to move faster and hit harder, Giga Impact:Axia focus every ounce of her power into one attack. After using it, she needs to rest for a bit before she can move again.
Ability:Rivalry, because it makes so much sense
Personality: Axia is very, very unstable. While normally quite docile, if something startles her, or angers, she goes on a tends to go on a rampage. Only John can get close enough to calm her down when that happens. She is also extremely possessive and protective of John, especially around other females. This in art due to her guilt of having to be protected by John when Darkrai attacked them, thus wanting to make sure she protects him from anymore pain, be it physical and emotional. She doesn't trust others with John, her addled mind convinced that everybody John meets can cause him great pain.
Appearance:
He is around 6'3, rather muscular, and usually has a rather crazed grin on his face. He has a number of scars all over his body, collected from his times living amongst the Haxorus herd, including a large one on his chest from the only time that Axia has attacked her master. He wears heavy plate armor, with a chainmail undercoat and a large kite shield with a emblem of a flaming emblem.
Personality: John is insane, a sociopath who loves to sow chaos on the battlefield, eager for his next challenge. Out of combat he is rather optimistic about everything, always having a crazed smile on his face, and never letting anything or anyone get him down. He has some sense of honor in duels and one-on-one combat, but in actual battles, he follows no rules, doing anything and everything to win. Anyone who faces him better watch out, because he never leaves an opponent alive in battle or a duel, no matter who they are. Many foolish knights and squires had fallen to his mace, thinking he was only trying to scare them when he said that every duel with him is a duel to the death. This doesn't translate into sparring, in which he is surprising helpful, spotting flaws in a lesser opponents technique and pointing them out in a way that is usually easy to understand. He also loves to meditate, always taking sometime out of his day to do so,as well as go through grueling rituals daily that some would even say qualifies as torture, though no one knows the reasons why. Biography: John was an bastard child of a high class family, sent away to live at a monastery. The monks here were worshippers of the Legendary pokemon, Heatran, and they demonstrated this by embracing the ways of the flames, as they called it. Every day, they would conduct intense physical activities, as well as a variety of special rituals, all of which were highly dangerous and could be considered as self destructive. All of them had to do with using either fire or steel to strengthen the mind and body, John was inducted into this life style at the age of ten, along with all the other children at the monastery, but unlike the others, John was very eager to participate, He took to his training diligently, never once complaining about the pain, or breaking down in tears at the agony, as some of the other members did, Thus, his body began to gain more toughness and durability after 2 years, an amazing feat considering that for most it took 5 years for that to begin. John knew he had been given up at birth, but it didn't bother him, as the monks of the temple became his new family. John also had a secret, which he had kept from the monks since he was 6. He had been sneaking out f the monastery to play with a young Axew that he had found by herself one day. At first they were scared of each other, but John made the first sign of friendship when he offered her some food. After that, they spent the next six years happily playing with each other in secret from both of their families. Sadly, these days were not to last. One day, the day when John had decided he wanted to bring Axia to the temple,he found nothing but a nightmare when he returned to the temple. Everyone was dead, some seeming to have been savagely ripped to shreds, other not having a single wound on their body, but had a look of absolute terror frozen on their face. And standng in the middle of all this devastation was Darkrai, holding the Grandmaster in his hands by the throat. With a single twist, the man fell to the floor dead, and Darkrai turned his attention towards John. John knew he stood no chance, but he stepped in front of the Axia to protect her, as the Pitch-Black pokemon blasted towards them. But instead of killing him, Drakrai used Dark Void on him and Axia, dragging them into a world of nightmares. Before they could be completely submerged however, he kicked Axia out of the the portal, allowing her to escape the worse of the attack. John was not so lucky, as his mind was warped and twisted by horrifying nightmare, as for an eternity he saw his family mercilessly and cruelly slaughtered by Darkrai. On and on it went, as time went on, John's screams of despair, slowly changed in to the cackles of a mad man. He was woken up by Axia later that day, who had brought her herd with her, but by then he had become a different person all together. But he had not been warped completely, as one thing persisted in that world of horror, one thing that allowed him to keep this tiny bit of sanity, Revenge. He swore that he would find Darkrai one day, and so it just as much kindness as it had shown him, before finally avenging his family. He was taken in by the herd, living among them for 5 years before he was found by a traveling knight and taken in. Axia followed, becoming his lifelong companion from that point on, as the two already had a bond that ran thicker than even blood. Once he was recivilized, he went back to the monastery, which had since been looted, and walked down into the main chamber. In it was a statue of Heatran, made from steel and forever heated by the fire that rage around it. He then punched the statue, welcoming the familiar pain the burning metal gave him, in a certain spot, causing the mouth to open. Inside it was a large shield, said to be made from the steel plates of a Heatran. John took it, as a reminder of what he lived for and who he had once been. Other: [indent]Quote:"Smash and Bash, Mother fuckers, SMASH AND BASH!!!!!!!" His shield is highly resistant a high number of attacks, though John mostly uses it to protect Axia from Fairy, Dragon, and Ice type attacks. His Mace is made from Haxorus tusks he collected from the herd, and took with him when he left them. It is highly effective a cracking dragon scales, creating weak spots for Axia to attack. Due to his intense training, he is able to take a lot of heavy hits from both people and pokemon, he is very strong, and his tolerance for pain is insanely high. He is one of those trainers who fights with pokemon and he wins more times than not. This means that anyone thinking it'll be easier to deal with him than Axia, is in for a nasty surprise Username:Raijinslayer Name:Fang Age: 25 Gender:Female Allegiance: To her Clan Weapon: Claws, Wings, and Voice
Feral Form: ]
Move-Set: Draco-meteor:Fang's dragonic energy solidifies into meteor-like crystals that she launches at the enemy, she bears limited control over them once they are launched. Afterwards, she is slightly drained of energy, causing any of her other special attacks to be noticeably weaker, thus it is a move of last resort, Dragon pulse: Fang focuses her dragonic energy into her mouth, then releases it in a pulsating beam at the target, Boom burst:Fang takes a deep breath, filling her lungs with air, before letting out a large blast of sound at high speed, hitting the target with extreme force. The target of the attack can likely become disoriented due to the sheer volume of the strike, something that can happen even if the attack misses, as long as it's relatively close to them, Double team:Fang moves at such an extreme speed, she forms after images, making it hard to strike her. She can uses theses after images as a cover to strike from.
Ability:Frisk, Allows her to sense if her opponent is carrying, and sense it's function or ability.(Needs some help making this make more sense)
Appearance:
She is around 5'9, and has a rather attractive figure, and modest sized hips and bust. Her eyes are golden, and even when in human form, has fang-like canines, though they are less pronounced. Her hair is purple, and she doesn't have on any armor, just some leather covering for her lower and upper halves, when she can find some.
Personality:She is the Alpha of her Morpher Clan, and thus has a strong sense of responsibility and a stern attitude. She can have fun though, but can easily switch back to strictness if someone forgets their place. She has a hatred for humans, but doesn't let herself be blinded by it, knowing not all humans are completely devoid of empathy for her kind. But she will always be distrustful of them. She also has an avid love for anything sweet, so much so that she becomes scary when ever any thinks it a good idea to touch her secret stash. Biography: Her story was pretty normal until she was around 6. Then she was captured by the House Umbrasis, held as a slave for 7 long years. She was treated horribly, beaten for no reason, starved, and forced to fight other pokemon and Morphs in betting arenas, with the battles always being to the death. The only good thing in her life back then was Korrigan. He had stumbled upon her when he was 5 and had decided to be her friend since she was all alone. He talked to her without disgust, treated her like a person, and ultimately, saved her from insanity. He even got some servants to help him feed her, talk to her, show her kindness that no else had shown her in a long time. One day, however, Korrigan changed, both physically and mentally. For a few days he was depressed, coming down to her cells to cry at his sorrows of which he never told to Fang. Then came he day when he freed her, telling to run while she had the chance. And did she run, as fast as the wind, as fast as sound it seemed. She felt her skin begin burn, her bones shift and ache, as she transformed into to her new feral form in her desperation to escape. She had evolved, now being a Noivern, and proceeded to take out anyone in her way until she found a window. She leaped out and flew to freedom. Days later, she found a clan of Morphs and joined them. They were a variety of them, mostly of the flying variety. It wasn't long until she soon found herself on top of them all, overthrowing the leader in a duel for Alpha status. It was her decision to move towards the Island between the two countries, as it was relatively uninhabited, and they would be bothered for the most part. But they have now grown to large to live on the Island, soFang is now trying to find a place for her clan to live in peace, preferably away from humans Other:
Quote: "I am Alpha, that means I am the badass that tells you what to do. If you have a problem with that, then you have to try and take that title from me. So come on."
Username: Raijinslayer Name: Sebastian Liastine Age: 25 Gender: Male Allegiance: Nobody Weapon: A bow and 3 types of arrows(Normal, barbed, poisoned, and armor piercing), as well as a hunting dagger Pokemon: Mega Form: Species:Rayquaza Name: Quazar Moveset:Dragon Ascent:Quaar soars high into the sky, before coming back down at such high speeds, he is followed by a huge vacuum of air that comes down with him. While this move is very powerful, it also has an adverse affect of temporarily lowering Quazars defenses. Dragon Dance: Quazar performs a dance of swift and powerful movements, which strengthen the flow of dragonic energy in his body, giving him a dramatic increase in both speed and power. Outrage: Quazar goes into a mighty rampae, cloaking himself in large amount of dragonic energy. He is left confused afterwards, becoming ver vulnerable and likely to hurt himself for a short amount of time. Hyper Beam:Quazar gather an insane amount of energy inside of him, and than releases it in a mighty beam of energy. It can be used in small bursts as well, so as to negate the need for rest after wards, but at the cost of a large chunk of the attacks power. Ability:
Regular=Air Lock, Allows Quazar to cancel out weather, the more intense the weather, the more energy he needs to expend to negate it.
Mega=Delta Stream, Summons hurricane-like winds that cancels out all weather effects, except for those of Desolate Land and Primordial see, but only if they are activated afterwards.
Personality: Quazar is rather relaxed, prefering to wander aimlessly in the sky. He has a strong sense of righteousness and keeping the world in balance. When that balance is threatened, he will do all he can to right it. As far as his relations with Sebastian go, while they can be called friends, they are by no means close. Quazar is rather self-righteous, a trait he tries to enforce on Sebastian. Sebastian, however, not, only caring about himself for the most part. Quazar sees the potential for greatness in Sebastian, but also sees him as to well versed in the darkness and despair of the world. The fact that he doesn't even attempt to change his ways is something that keeps Quazar from trusting in him completely. He ometimes leaves Sebastain to fend for himself when he gets them into avoidable fights, so as to tech him a lesson, though it never seems to work. Appearance:
Sebastian is around 5'11, with golden eyes and shoulder-length green hair. He usually wears reinforced leather armor, as well as a rangers hood and cloak. He also bears a few daggers in special hidden sheaths along his body, in case he needs a quick way to take someone out, but not enough time to pull out his bow.
Personality: He is a free spirit, never staying in one place for too long and swearing allegiance to no man. He likes to spend his days in the forest, hunting, foraging, sleeping. He can be rather cold to those he doesn't know at first, but give him some time, and he'll be rather quick to open up, if he likes you. He has no qualms in battle, however, as he will kill without mercy or regret. He tries to avoid conflict, seeing it as a waste of time, but if you push him hard enough, you'll regret it. He considers Quazar to be a companion of sorts, but doesn't not have any particular love for the legendary, and no small amount of anger, either. He partially blames Quazaar for his family's fall from grace, which is the main reason they were able to be so throughly slaughtered. He sees Quazar as more of a blow hard, full of naive ideals of balance and what naught. As far as Sebastian is concerned, their is no such thing as balance, as that would mean the world would be at peace. And the world is never at peace, for there is always someone dying in this world, always some being hated and abused, there is always someone in misery. What kind of balance is that. Biography: He was once a part of the Lugerian noble house Liastine , the heir to it in fact, but they fell to a coup' de tat from a rival house when he was only ten years old, and were secretly slaughtered or forced into the rival family on pain of death. The only reason he escaped is because his father sent him into the Sky Pillar, a tower their family had built way back in the beginnings of the nation. It is a mystery, as no one knows what resides within, and those who have climbed it, have either never come down, or were dropped from it's mighty height by an unknown beast. It is said that it must only be climbed by in a time of tragedy for the family, less they face disaster from their ancient guardian. Sebastian ran up the tower, for who knows how long, when he reached a balcony. On the balcony, slept Quazar, the Lord of the Skies. Scared, but determined to help his family, he approached the beast, ultimately placing a hand on its hide. That awoke the beast, as it rose up staring at the boy who had awoken him. For awhile, that was all, until he rested again. Before Sebastian could say anything, he was hit by an intense wave of energy and emotions flowing through his body, connecting him and the ancient beast. Then the beast rose up again, floating low to the ground towards Sebastian, and placing a strange metal gauntlet at his feet from where it had been hidden on the balcony. In the gauntlet was a strange stone, of which Sebastian had never seen before. He sensed from Quazar that it would somehow unlock a hidden power within the legendary pokemon. Since then, they now spend their days being sorta vigilante's in their endeavors, and ultimately, just being free. Other: He has the trainer Mega stone, but he and Quazar don't have a close enough bond for Mega evolution He cares not for either human's or morphs, but if either bother him, he will not hesitate to take them out. Personality: Zaegar is a cold uncaring individual, he watches out for #1 over all else. At least that’s what he tries to look like. He reality he has a soft spot for other homeless folks or orphans like himself. His tough attitude will fool anyway on first look but after a day or so the cracks in his facade become noticeable. Zaegar is tenacious to a fault and has a hard time letting go of something he’s set his sights on. He can be a bit of a Kleptomaniac at times if he finds something that really grabs his attention. Biography: Zaegar grew up on the streets of on of the many corruption filled cities that dotted the continent, a street waif with only one thing to his name, a strange colored stone on a necklace. He lived the way all the other street urchins did, by stealing. It was a hard life growing up and Zaegar became used to hardship. As he grew up he learned to control his Morphing powers and often used them to save himself from a pinch. Partially transforming made him stronger and gave him more speed that saved him from many a danger. Zaegar did whatever he had to in order to survive but as he grew older and his powers grew stronger and he began to change. Instead of solely stealing to feed himself he would often give food to younger kids. Soon he became a hero to the kids that lived on the streets and was given a bounty. Quote: "Deal with it yourself, aw fine take this, but don't tell anyone alright kid? Can't let those stinking nobles hand you out to dry."

Username: Pirouette Name: Lady Millicent "Milly" of House Cheviot Age: 19 Gender: Female Allegiance: Lugere Weapon: Milly usually arms herself with two short tempered blades. One has a very dull edge and serves multiple purposes such as non-lethal dueling/sparring and protection in combat. The second blade is a very fine, sharpened blade serving only one grim purpose. Milly isn't the type that enjoys killing but in self-defense she has no problem with taking a life. Appearance: Milly is not the best example of noble fashion. Instead she dresses rather plainly, and more specifically, like an off-duty knight. Her hair is usually tied up in a simple bun to prevent distraction in her hobbies. Her clothes are nice and definitely tailored but they aren't flashy and usually a bit dirty. Sometimes she wears a padded leather jacket with a small emblem right over her breast, adorning the Cheviot House Sigil, a black sixteenth note crossed with a sixteenth rest on a light blue background. Personality: Milly is, as you can imagine, a bit tom-boyish. She explains it as her dislike for the refined elegance of nobility rather than her desire to appear "manly." Nobility just seems like an excuse to be distant from everybody else. There isn't an opportunity to learn how the world really is by just sitting around in concert halls or manors. It is a suspension of reality by living in nobility and Milly doesn't like the idea of being delusion to the world. She doesn't outright hate it, in fact, she is grateful that she isn't forced to work for a shitty life. She knows she has had it good but in her words, "noble people suck". It was really all the people that turned her away from the posh life of nobility and not the nobility itself. This is best summed up by her name. Millicent is a rather refined title and she loves her name but the people that really know her cut out all the "Lady Millicent" crap and call her "Milly". Outside of that, you'd probably find Milly to be a bit distant, no sense of humor, and seemingly mad at something when you first meet her. Eventually that coldness warms up and she doesn't not really care who you are. Poor or rich, morph or no. Biography: House Cheviot is semi-major hold in the Lurere continent but not for the reasons you'd expect. This house never lead any crusades or was the deciding factor in any battle, but rather, this house was always famed for its ability to schmooze and entertain greater lords. Generations of great musicians, dancers, and actors all helped build the Cheviot family up by charging ludicrous amounts for their services but some Houses were willing to pay that price. Finance turned into power which lead to the purchasing of land, therefore expanding the power of the family. Since the beginning, children of the House were to always learn a trade of the fine arts. They got to choose but as long as they mastered something. Millicent chose to master dueling, much to the dismay of her parents. Dueling wasn't necessarily a fine art but historically, the Cheviots had some great fencers and duelists so it was an allowable selection according to the family tradition. Millicent's parents were not too pleased because being the firstborn, it unofficially meant that you had to a real class act and for a time, Millicent's parents did not believe that Milly could learn how to be a real lady by dueling. Gender roles weren't as strict as some alternate dimensions but they still existed. A lady shouldn't be fighting but Millicent did and she won. It was by winning that her parent's began to sort of accept it. As it turns out, it was a great spectacle to see a woman duelist beat male duelists. Winning didn't happen all the time but the fact that Milly could beat just about anybody at anytime only helped other lords and ladies to respect the Cheviot name. So until Milly's parents pass and she is required to return to rule the house, she will just keep on wandering the world, challenging any lord or lady who wishes to fight. And it wasn't just her fighting, eventually Milly allowed challenges for Mel to face a lord's or lady's Pokémon. Other: --- Pokémon: Meloetta Nickname: Mel (Only Millicent uses the name) Species: Meloetta Moveset: Relic Song, Psychic, Close Combat, Safeguard Ability: Serene Grace Appearance: Mel has always been spared of wearing clothes. Even her natural appearance gives off the impression she is wearing clothes so it was never deemed necessary. Mel is a bit uptight and pretentious, even refusing to interact with people of perceived low-birth. She (for the sake of pronoun usage) loves attention, compliments, and the chance to perform but will almost always deny a peasant's request. Millicent has slowly made an impact on Mel, opening her up to the world. She isn't outright repulsed by commoners but her unease is noticeable. One would presume Mel would dislike Millicent greatly but deep down, Milly knew Mel would like the attention and adoration that commoners give her. One other thing Millicent has been doing for Mel and that is combat training. Mel was always used for performances of dance and song for nobility and never for combat. Mel was a showcase of class and as the firstborn female, Meloetta was usually trusted with the firstborn in hopes of teaching the first born how to sing and dance like a proper lady. Well Millicent learned how to sing and dance pretty darn well but in return, Milly taught Mel how to fight proper, using her own experience in training and the House's Trainer for advice. Despite Mel's better attitude, she still hates Morphs as she believes them to be unnatural. Physically she can sense them, too. --- Addendum: Meloetta has two forms and can change form by using Relic Song. After a time she'll change back into her original form, Aria Form, which is pictured above. The second form, Pirouette Form is this here:
