[OOC] A Game of Throhs - Medieval Pokemon RP (A Revival)

I'm thinking of making another character possibly, so i can actually interact until Garet hits the story.

All we can do, we who are left that is, is continue on going. If this deteriorates to the point of really only being a few people (raijin, eklispe, pirouette, enalais, maybe mchaggis, and me it looks like), what do you guys think we should do? I wouldn't mind rebooting it and GMing it so that we could have a more active GM involved (no offense to anyone, but Dim dropped the ball pretty hard. Dunno if they're okay, or what's up, but that's how it is). I just think that this is a really cool idea, I like my characters that I have for it, and I like other people's characters too. We just need more direction and NPC events happening for people who feel left out, left behind, etc. Having direction is seriously helpful for what seems to be a politically driven/war driven RP. At this point, with everyone that we have, who would RP for Maccus OR Hiden? Does anybody really know the plot that is still actively posting? These are the questions and concerns I've been having regarding this RP. I don't know how anybody would feel about me GMing it, or anything like that, but I'm willing to come up with plotlines, villains, and all the trimmings if you guys are OK with me doing it. Again, I'm willing to just try to chug through what we have here, and try to make it work, but I feel like lack of direction might end up kicking us in the butt later. ^^;

I would be willing to take point on this initiative. I have no idea how it was originally supposed to go but we could easily formulate a new idea. I have the skeleton for a very evilish character that could play a villain for some people. Milly will be back, of course. Although she might move to where the grass is greener.

I think making a new thread is the proper answer because i feel like A) This won't really go anywhere without any driving story B) if we use our own story kinda feels like we wrecking the GM's world when we have no right to. We could use Chatzy and Titanpad and stuff if we want to work together and do some world building

I'm 100% into brainstorming with you guys. I have Dungeons and Dragons today (I'm the silly Dungeon Master, so I can't put it off ;^; ), but google docs, or chatzy/titanpad works for me on most days. Or we could start a group PM and work things out on here. Don't know if Raijin and Enalais are on board yet, but I hope so. I can start working on making the new thread tomorrow, and share the info with you guys to make sure everything is OK and agreeable before finalizing anything. I hate abandoning this thread, but I think it'll be for the best. I think we are who left are dedicated enough to it to make it work out. @Pirouette Nooo, Sophia and Milly 4ever ;^; qqqqqqqqqqqqq

Sounds good. A city like Nouvelle would only benefit from having access to warmer weather. But I still haven't decided on moving it yet.

I was actually thinking that the Rust Desert would be the portion where Ayero connects to Lugere, so in Lugere that could be the warmer territory, akin to a fjord.

Bordering with mountains on Lugere, and the flatter lands of Ayero, accompanied by more chilly water coming down from the mountains. Not so cold so as to deter people from swimming during the spring, summer, and fall, but cold enough to make it a delicious drink if you were to get it from the waterfalls. Probably call it the -Insert prominent city name here- Fjord. So if you'd want Nouvelle there, the Nouvelle Fjord, or something else depending on tastes. Edit: Here's a very rough concept sketch of the Lugere/Ayero landscape. They're not scaled properly atm, but I'll work on it more later. Both countries will be bigger after I work on it, and have more defining land features.

A desert to the far north would be a tundra or some cold wasteland. If you decrease the latitude of the Fjord, I can see that being the case.

Well, I'd go based on the concept that Lugere's more western and southern portions are colder, while the eastern and northern parts are warmer. And on the Ayero side, everything to the west is it's more cold environment, while going into the east it gets hotter. The Rust Desert would then actually still be a desert, albeit more temperate nearer to the border of Lugere. Lugere would still be more overall snowy and chilly, with more mountains than Ayero, enjoying more warmth near the "Barrier Ocean", or Barrier Sea, or whatever it gets named. Ayero would still be more hilly and temperate, but nearer to the Barrier-Whatever, it'd enjoy more cool breezes rather than the more humid-ickyness I see happening further inland. I realize geographically this may make no sense, but it's a fantasy world, so I'm rolling with the idea. xD The western ocean on the outside border of Lugere would be filled with glaciers, etc. While the eastern ocean outside of Ayero would probably have archipelagos and more tropical environments. Egyel would probably mimic the two countries on it's own surface to a degree, but have something more "intense" about it the further north you went. Probably a devastated or cataclysmically destroyed landscape, due to the war long ago. Filled with riches and ruins, or some great secret. Nature would have probably taken over, granting the space more jungles and such. If the concept is too far off, we could place the fjord to the southern portion and have the Rust Desert be located there,
