Also, being bigger than a galaxy would be so horrendously massive that any kind of 'speed' would tear itself apart. That and black holes, suns, and all that other matter wouldn't simply 'ping' off something like it were just some space dust. It would also tear holes and gaping tears into something so large. Being as big as a solar system is insanely massive, and spacedust and comets and asteroids would damage the surface of the ship- or its shields- massively. Add in super speed and a system-sized item, a small asteroid would be more like an 76mm APCR round to a WWII tank. There are speeds that something can go that would annihilate anything in its path, including whatever is moving that fast.

Size doesn't mean crap. A blackhole is something that was so dense that it created a massive gravity field, and became something else- something completely understandable. And in theory, a blackhole is really just a superdense marble or something, in comparison to our planets.

Hence why I dislike anime- a complete and total disregard for all things known.
