[IC] Code Lyoko: XANA's Return

[Jollan]

Garsin finished setting everything up in his room. "Alright, I guess the only thing to do now is to get something to eat." With that, he started to slowly make his way towards the cafeteria. Once there, he waited in line patiently and got his food. He found a table that didn't have anybody sitting at it and sat down to eat.

Flippy was glad at least Josive agreed to help out "Well unless we have some more buisness here I think we should maybe make our way back to school. I mean it'd be really bad to be kicked out on the first day." Flippy said to everyone hoping they would be thinking the same thing.

[Gambit]

Strange, though I guess that makes sense, Bella thought when she heard Jared's explanation as to why Josive didn't remember. At least he agreed to help though. "Hold on," Bella said. "What about Aelita? She's still in Lyoko. The tower didn't get her out like we thought."

[Teknonick]

<Garsin>:
After you sat down and started eating, a kid walked up to you and patted you on the shoulder. "New kid, I take it? Welcome to Kadic. Hopefully your'll have better luck fitting in." he said to you strangely, before walking off. The cafeteria lady dropped whatever food it was she was serving, as she saw the kid that had just talked to you. The other kid's turned around, and saw him too, those new shrugging, but those old in awe. One managed to whisper the kids name... "William." before he left the room.

The cafeteria lady handed over her serving spoon to the kid in front of her, watching the doors like a ghost, before walking over to them and follow the kid to the principals office. The other kids in the room, more specifically the newer ones, stared at the kid with the spoon. "So... are you going to get us our food, or are we going to have to go to bed hungry?" they asked. The kid nodded, going around to the other side of the counter and serving everyone. What a strange school.

[Josive]
"Yes! I'm still in here! What they are saying is true, Josive. Why don't you believe them?" Aelita said through into the headset Josive had just put on. "Really, what's going on here? No what, forget what I just said a moment ago. I'm not helping you guys. Unless you can prove to me any of this happened I'm out. For all I know, all of you knew about this before I got here. Maybe you just came up with a quick story to convince me to stay... I don't know exactly, but I don't really care. If you're not going to prove anything to me, then I'm just going to leave. I still expect my laptop delivered to my room after you're done with it." he said, crossing his legs as he turned in his chair to face the others again.

"Wait, what about the notes? You were reading the notes when you were helpin-" Aleita started to say, "I never helped you, I only showed everyone this place." Josive cut in. "Okay... fine. But, those notes... maybe they will explain something in them?" Aeilta started to question. "Everyone else went onto Lyoko, except you." she continued, Josive sighing. "And?" "And. Maybe going to Lyoko, or not going to Lyoko... maybe that's the difference. All of us remember, but not you. What if everyone in the world remembered what happened? What would be the point of a return to the past? Please. Just look at the notes and try to find something." she pleaded. Josive sighed with the mix of a grunt, before shaking his head and picking up his laptop and setting it in his lap.

"There's not a lot in here... I can only pick out a few things. There's virtualization here... I think that's what it says. It says you can only use it once every twelve hours. And how to use it. And this 'return to the past'. That rules out the story theory, but you could still all have known this was here before I came. Anyway... it doesn't really say anything. Just how to use it. It says to use it 'after a tower is deactivated'." he said, reading threw some of the things. "I really don't know how this is helping. If none of you come up with a good story, I'm out." he said, looking at everyone in the room. Aleita just shrugged, looking at the others, hoping they could come up with a possible way to convince Josive.

[Jollan]

Garsin raised his eyebrows as he heard someone speaking to him. But before he could respond, it sounded like he had walked away, followed by another person shortly after, out the main door. It was awkwardly quite and he caught the name "William", but he still didn't know what to really do about it. He finished his meal and got up to put his tray away, listening for more information on way.

[NightmareInd]

Sam got out of his room. He just stopped gaming and saw it was time for dinner. He walked towards the cafetaria, following his map, when he bumped into someone. 'Sorry, I wasn't paying attention.' He quickly said, before looking at who he actually bumped into. It was a guy with black hair. He just left what looked like was the cafetaria. Sam looked at him again. Has he seen him somewhere before?

[Gambit]

"This isn't a set up," Bella said back to Josive, slightly annoyed. Now it seemed he was almost totally against them again. "I just came to this country last week, and didn't hear about the kids till school started this morning. There's no way I could come up with anything like this." She sighed. "I was a skeptic of this whole thing as you are now. I didn't believe any of this until I saw it myself. There is no way that I can think of to prove it other than actually showing it to you." Bella glanced back down towards the ladder leading the pods. "If you trust us enough we could transport you there, or if not we just head back and try again later. Maybe the info isn't in the notes, maybe it is in Lyoko."

"Think about it though. This is a huge opportunity; a way to see a whole new world. And possibly a chance to save these kid's lives. An actual adventure," Bella said, hoping it would get Josive to stay and help. Though, she realized, she was also saying it to herself just as much as him.

[Teknonick]

<Sam>:
After you bumped into the kid, he looked at you, and almost appeared ready to shove you out of the way... but he saw something, and decided against it. "No problem." he said, shrugging it off and continuing on his way in a hurry. Just as he disappeared around the corner, the lunch lady, Rosa Petitjean, came in the same direction the kid you bumped into had came from just a moment ago, seeming just as hurried as he. She walked past you without so much of a glare. Her face was written with recent shock.

<Garsin>:
As you followed after the lunch lady who was chasing this 'William', it becomes clear whatever was happening must be important. William's footsteps were no longer heard, and the lunch lady's footsteps barely audible as you chased after. Eventually you heard a faint "No problem." before hearing William's footsteps pick up again and fading as they moved faster than both your own and the lunch lady.

[Josive]
Josive continued to sit in the chair as Bella attempted to persuade him. He listened, arms folded, leaning back in the chair. "You know... even if all of this is still true... it's still risky. Keeping this 'Lyoko' running could endanger more lives than just a few kids. It could endanger our lives. But, if you still feel like you need to prove this isn't a hoax to me, I'll stay to see that. But either way, I still believe this is too dangerous." he finally said. He stood up after the conversation, and walked over to the ladder after setting down his laptop on the chair. He started to climb down the ladder, and stopped just before his head disappeared below. Though, an adventure does sound like an idea... before shaking off his own thought and continuing down the ladder to the bottom.

Sam looked at the direction both of the people were going. Someone is in a hurry, and someone else has seen a ghost. He turned around to head to the cafetaria again. When he opened the door and headed for the place where a kid was serving food instead of an adult, he bumped into someone. Again. "I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." he repeated himself. He cursed the combination of him not watching where he was walking over and over again, and the fact that he was very light on his feet. He looked up (again) and saw this time someone from around his age, but maybe a little older as he was more masculine. The strange thing was that he wasn't really looking at Sam, but more in his direction, like he actually couldn't notice him.

[Gambit]

Woah, he actually believed me! Bella thought to herself when he agreed to go. "Okay then," she said with a slight smile. "I think I saw enough of what you were doing on the computer to get it to work." She walked over to the computer and put on the headset. "Aelita can you meet Josive when he gets in?" she asked as she started typing up the commands.

[Jollan]

"Oh! No, don't worry about it. I should be sorry." Garsin apologized after accidentally bumping into someone for the second time in the past hour or so. He had been in such a hurry to catch up to the mystery person that he was being careless and walking without his cane again. "I really shouldn't be walking around without this." He stated while he started to unfold his cane. It didn't seem as thought he was going to catch up to William at this rate either, so he left the matter be for now. Then the thought occurred to him that the last time he bumped someone they fell over. "Are you all right?"

[NightmareInd]

As soon as the guy took out his cane, Sam knew what was going on: the guy was blind. He did seem kind for someone with that posture. "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." He said. Even though Sam was light on his feet, he had a good balance. "You seem very kind. You must have a lot of friends." Sam said, but the last part a bit sadly. Because of his past, Sam didn't have many friends. You might even say he didn't have any.

Flippy was so excited because Josive finally started to some what believe them, but he will believe once he sees lyoko. Flippy didn't know what else he could do, so he walked over to the closets to the elevator and sat down. "If you need me I'll be over here." he said to everyone in the room.

[Jollan]

Garsin was a bit taken back by the last statement. It was kinda weird for someone to mention, and the person seemed disheartened about something. After a moment of awkward silence, he should say something. "Heh, well if I had any, I sure haven't see them anywhere," he replied, making a pun at his own expense. He wasn't sure how to move on, so he just held out hand in the direction he heard the other person. "My name is Garsin."

[NightmareInd]

After the awkward silence, the guy made a pun which made Sam chuckle a bit. Then the guy introduced himself as Garsin. "I'm Sam." He said, while grabbing Garsin's hand and shaking it. "I'm new to this school. And you?" He whaited for him to answer, then looked at the row of children, which was getting smaller. "Oh right, I still need to eat. I'll see you later!" He said, then realised he was the only one of the two who could actually see, and chuckled again. Sam hoped that Garsin would understand he didn't intended it wrong. He walked to the row, got in line and whaited for his food.

<Bella>:
"Sure." Aelita responded, before the image of her disappeared off the screen. As you look at the instructions on how to virtualize Josive... they start to look a little monstrous with the amount of things you have to do. It was sure lucky Josive didn't mess it up before, there's no telling what would have happened if he did. Or, if you do. At least you have the advantage of time.

[Josive]
Josive let out a sigh after he finished climbing down the latter, before turning around to see the three big scanners for the first time. He walked up to the center of the three of them, examining them closely. "I don't see any controls in them..." he said, stopping his spin as he looked at one in front of him. He stepped up to it, holding onto the side as he peeked his head into it. He let out another sigh, as he climbed into the giant device. "Um, there's nothing in here. What now?" he called aloud, only for himself to hear.

The doors to the scanners closed, initiating the process of virtualization. Josive was speechless at the sensation it gave... weightlessness, calmness, possible hope that this might all be true. Then, the right white flash right before virtualization. Josive fell out of the air, crashing into the ground and rolling off the edge of the island, just to be grabbed by Aeilta at the last second. "Pull yourself up!" she called down to him, leaning over the edge and reaching out with both hands. Josive blinked a few times, before grabbing on and pulling himself up with the help of Aelita. "Uh... thanks...." he said, scratching the back of his head after they plopped back up on the island. Josive looked down as his legs, noticing them to be covered in armor...

Josive wears a very futuristic looking armor. It's mostly white, made out of plastic looking material. Bright-blue circles are on the sides of the armor, centered around every joint. A lone battery pack on the back, and a handle hidden inside of Josive's sleeve. The handle is mostly white, with black stripes around it. A bright-blue circle is on the bottom of it, which when pushed, allows it to enlarge to it's full size. When enlarging, it wrap's itself around Josive's hand, and becomes much heavier, requiring him to support it with his the other hand.

Josive then looked at Aelita as he stood up with the gun in his hands, silently asking permission to use his weapon. She nodded, waving her hand at a nearby tree. Josive aimed his gun, charging it up with a hum from the battery, then let out a large blast at the tree. A big hole was left in it, before it regenerated quickly afterwards. "Wow. This... is amazing." he said, looking over at Aelita with a new smile. "Yeah, now do you believe us you dunderhead?" she said, throwing her hands on her hips. "I... think so. But..." Josive replied. Aelita threw her hands in the air as he said 'but', and turned back towards the tower. "this is still dangerous! I mean... if this 'Lyoko' can do this much-" he started. Aelita turned on her heels as she walked backwards for the tower. "You're a lost cause Josive. Just go back and forget this ever happened. I'll just sit here trapped for the rest of my life." Aelita said, before back stepping into the tower. Josive looked down at his weapon, and shrunk it down, sliding it back into his sleeves. He then looked around, not sure what else to do. "Um... okay. I think I'm done now." he said, trying to look for a door out of the place... which, didn't exist.

September 3rd, 6:00am, An Unexpected Awakening.

School Day.

Students are not allowed to get permission to leave campus at this time.

School starts for kids not in 9th grade at 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm. School starts for 9th graders at 3:00pm.

Classes today are, Science and Art 8:00am-9:00am. (First Session)
Math and Social Studies at 9:30am-10:30am. (Second Session)
Not RPable classes from 11:00am-1:30pm. (3rd/4th Session)
Physical Education at 2:00pm. (Fifth Session)

[Josive]
Josive woke up in bed after hearing his alarm go off. He slowly moved his hand over to where his clock was, to try and turn it off, but failed to find the snooze button. He groggily sat up, and shook himself awake. He looked over at the alarm, and saw that it read seven-o-clock. He sat up and found his schedule sitting on the desk next to him. Classes start at eight, I've got enough time to sleep in... he thought to himself, before leaning over to the clock and hitting the snooze button. He started to lay back down, but heard a noise coming from outside the building...

Josive opened the window in the room, and looked outside to see what was going on. He saw police lights flashing off somewhere near the entrance of the academy, and police officers littered all over the place. What's going on? he asked himself, seeing them mostly standing around and talking among themselves. One man wearing a trench coat and a hat was walking into the dormitory building now, after having talked with a few of the officers. I hope this doesn't have to do with Lyoko. It's got to just be a coincidence. Hopefully. he gulped. Josive them closed the window, and got ready, before leaving the room and locking it behind him.

[NightmareInd]

Sam got up. It was half past six, but he was used to getting up this early. He used his vibrate function on his wristwatch to not wake the other guy. Sam only saw him again after diner, so they didn't have time to talk much. Not like he wanted to talk, although he was curious why he came back that late. It was the first day after all. But today was the second day, and Sam thought the whole first week was important. When he was done dressing up, he heard something outside. He looked through his window, and saw some police. This is going to be a weird year... Sam thought.

[Jollan]

Garsin woke up to the beeping of his watch. He pushed a button in on the side to shut it off as he sat up in his bed. He shook his head, he didn't even know why he had to go to art class. It seemed like such a waste of time for him. He shrugged before he clambered out of bed and started to get ready for the day. There was a some noise outside, it sounded like a bunch of people talking, but his window was closed and could only make out a few words here and there. Once ready, he had decided to go grab some breakfast at the cafeteria before his first class started. Naturally, he went to go straight out the front door, not suspecting a thing.

Flippy woke up with his phone alarm buzzing in his ears. After pulling out his ear buds and turning the alarm off he got up and quickly picked out something to wear. Once he was fully dressed Flippy looked at his schedule seeing that he has art today "Yea..." he said quietly to himself. Flippy grabbed his backpack and phone before leaving his room, and making his way to the art room.

[Jollan]

Once outside, Garsin could hear them, better. From the sound of the radios and such, it seemed like the police were here for some reason. Once Garsin got to the cafeteria he had a small simple breakfast and then headed toward the art room himself, albeit reluctantly. Once he got there, he found a desk that was empty i the back and took a seat.

after about ten minutes of sitting there, Garsin checked the time.After a series of beeping, he aptly applied a face-palm after realizing that he was an hour early. He could have sworn he set his alarm for 7am but it seems like it had gone off at 6am instead. He sighed, got up, and left the classroom. He would go to the gym to kill time, however, he didn't want to get worked up before class, and he figured he would be later anyway. He didn't want to eat again, considering he ate already. The only other place he could think of to go was either the park or his room, so he decided to walk through the park to his room and play his cello a bit before class.
