Name: (Flight Lieutenant) Ellie Fletcher Tavistock Gender: Female Age: 29 Nationality: British Appearance: Ellie has a distinct red hair, being a bright red- this being her natural shade, rather than an artificial one. She stands at about 5"7, with a fairly feminine build, though her features are fairly on the small side. She keeps her hair fairly short, to the top of her neck, and has a pair of blue eyes, being quite distinctly sharp for a woman of her type. Her EVA suit has a distinct British flag, on the left shoulder where many of the other operators would also have their distinct patch, with a small marking of her mission on Prospect Horizon. Job: Astronaut (Head of EVA) Brief Background: Ellie was born in Dover, England, to a fairly middle class family- being brought up in a stable household, and doing very well in school. Her passion was engineering- she was one of the few girls who genuinely adored studying the subject, and she did exceptionally well at it. But there was one thing she did even better- and that was her dedication to the. She attended the University of British Columbia, in Canada, taking an Aeronautical Engineering degree before returning to the UK to join the Fleet Air Arm as a helicopter pilot. She found herself very capable flying Merlin helicopters off the aircraft carrier deck of the HMS Queen Elizabeth, and whilst she didn't do any combat sorties, she was asked if she wanted to become an Astronaut, as a part of the UK's dedication to the European Space Agency's mission in collaboration with various other countries. This was two years before the launch of the Prospect Horizon- and she took the offer gladly, taking this route into becoming an astronaut, obtaining a Masters degree part-time whilst studying towards this. It was during this period she got married to her boyfriend, Ben- though this was a romance that was short lived, because she was a part of the second deployment to the Prospect Horizon. Adjusting to Extra Vehicular Activity, and helping set up the Prospect Horizon's initial habitation modules was tricky, but something she did exceptionally well. Private companies were mainly responsible for the materials sent up- with the co-ordination of international space programs bringing it together as a symbol of unity, under a scientific banner. Ellie remembered the ISS of days past, and this was something new- a far bigger chance to launch humanity forwards. She proved her worth well enough to be deployed again on the sixth deployment of people to the station, back when it was only at 100 people- and again on the 16th Deployment, about four months ago. She's at home aboard the station, and feels comfortable- while it's still in Zero-G, it's something she acclimatizes to well, and she's a career Astronaut now. One day, she hopes to become the station commander, instead of her current role as an Acting Head of EVA- an important, but role that she feels she wants to go beyond. She is very skilled outside the the station in dealing with matters that would otherwise require an expert's hand, and while knowing that there are others that are older and perhaps wiser, she's still got a lot of potential, and has been frequently enough in the last few years to have a very concentrated experience. Ellie is seen as a petite woman compared to her peers, and often is questioned for her role as the Head of a department, running such a critical role outside the station, at her age and size, being perhaps a little smaller than most men and even women. Going out on a spacewalk with her, however, and you understand why. She's learned rapidly, and is very well experienced, though of course, the events of the 5th of September will prove still far more than she can handle. Ellie is more than technical enough, and treats any walk out into the abyss like it was a walk in the park, even if her fellow Astronauts are panicking. This is something a little different. Special Equipment: -Suit-Mounted Thruster Pack (Enhances movement) -Oxy-Acetone Cutter Torch (Can be useful for cutting apart entrapments, or faulty locks. Will only be useful on thinner metals, not seals or thick bulkheads.) -Interactive Tablet (A electronic interfacing kit, can be used in conjunction with a voltmeter and various other pieces of kit to perform system and component diagnostics- with many components of the Prospect Horizon, even it's metals, having a digital footprint.)

Alright, here is what I have so far. Thoughts? Suggestions? Name: Viktor Dyatlov (Виктор Дятлов) Gender: Male Age: 41 Appearance: The first thing to strike someone about Viktor’s appearance is how tired the man always looks, his dark green eyes being permanently marred with dark bags underneath them and always seeming to be bloodshot, even first thing in the morning or rather more accurately when his shift starts. His short hair, once jet black is now more a dark grey colour mixed with numerous streaks of lighter white. It’s constantly in a messy state and is the last thing he’d consider worthwhile ‘maintaining’ since it seems perpetually untameable. That all being said he does seem to ooze energy, his eyes often darting around and his hands never really being still as he fidgets almost constantly. All in all he gives off the impression of being unable to relax or ‘switch off’ quite frequently, and it’s quite noticeable to anyone who spends a little time with him. Generally he doesn’t go outside of the station, so the EVA suit he happened to be wearing was just standard issue. It just so happens to have an American flag on the left shoulder, being one of the few spare suits available at the time. Job : Engineer, 1st class. Brief Background: Viktor was born on the 1st of January 2000 in a Russian scientific facility to the north of the village Khatanga, Siberia. One of the northern most towns in the world with a subarctic climate and very little in the way of luxuries, not that he ever visited the village much spending most of his time in the facility. His childhood consisted of a mixture of military and scientific education administered by the only teacher to a class of only six pupils, Viktor being the youngest as generally staff were dissuaded from having children. His parents were both scientists who spent the majority of their time working and paying little attention to their son despite his numerous achievements. He excelled academically despite hating everything about the environment he was in, earning top marks throughout his education. He excelled even more as he left ‘home’ to attend the Moscow State Physics-technical Institute, graduating as a specialist in both Aircraft Flight Dynamics and Control and Aeronautical Engineering. He completed post-graduate studies at the same institute as a specialist in the field of Mechanics of Fluids and Plasma. Quickly being snapped up by Roscosmos he soon became one of the foremost minds of his country, even working closely with the best mind of both NASA and ESA for many years despite the rocky political situation caused by Russia’s continued ‘aggressions’. He was one of the head minds behind Prospect Horizon, working on her from practically day one. That being said Viktor had never actually been to space and persistently declined opportunities to do so, even after the Prospect Horizon station became reality. Finally he was put in a position where his career forced him into space, his expertise being his down-fall as he eventually became one of the few Russian engineers capable of maintaining and upgrading some of the station’s complex systems. He was sent on the 15th deployment and has been there for about a year now, very slowly adjusting to life in zero-gravity. With only four previous EVA experiences under his belt he is far from confident outside of the station, but even he hasn’t been able to avoid it altogether, especially when the French engineer scheduled to do routine maintenance is sick. Special Equipment: Pistol Grip Tool - this specialty power drill allows astronauts to precisely select the amount of torque and speed needed for the job. It is easy to hold onto, even in bulky space-gloves. Powered by metal hydride batteries to stand up to the extreme temperatures of space.

Name: Professor Jeremiah King Gender: Male Age: 36 Nationality: British-born Australian Appearance: Jeremiah is youthful looking, generally cheerful, with brown hair, bright green eyes, and a trimmed full-face beard. His EVA suit is mostly normal, but bears a specially made flag (dark blue with a picture of a helium atom, including all the up and down red green blue quarks) on the left shoulder. Job: Jeremiah is a professor in physics, especially theoretical and quantum physics. He went on the walk because he requested to do so, as hi is fascinated with all sciences, and he wished to observe. Brief Background: Jeremiah had a good upbringing into a rich family. He moved to Australia from England when he was 2. His father was an engineer and his mother was a biochemist, so naturally Jeremiah grew up loving science. He was prodigious in his study, working hard to achieve good grades throughout all levels of schooling. He went to university and studied his most loved form of science, physics. He went on to study quantum particles, and became a professor at age 30. At age 32, he was chosen to go up to the Prospect Horizon to lecture and study photons and radiation from the sun. Jeremiah fit in well, being a cheerful and outgoing person. He focused on his work and did so efficiently. However, inside, his self esteem began to crumble, from a combination of the stress of formulas he couldn't complete, problems with workmates, a lack of romantic success, and the fear of high expectations that he could not live up to. Outwardly, Jeremiah remains happy, but his emotional state is slowly decreasing inside. Special Equipment: Being an observer, Jeramiah bought a camera to film and photograph the happenings. He also bought a thruster pack for ease of movement.

Name: (Cdn. Airforce Major) Neil Patrick Stienhauer Gender: Male Age: 45 Appearance Standing just barely 5 foot 8 inches tall. A good 200 pounds even. Close to retirement, but still strong and quick. Close shaven hair, and just the hint of a beard, you can get away with alot when you're nearing retirement and are an astronaut let him tell ya. His EVA suit is a standard job for the most part, with the added customization with a several large bright red and orange chevrons and the blatantly clear "Safety Specialist" title emblazoned upon the back of his helmet and the arms and legs. Of course on his arm is the good ol' red Maple Leafy, protected partially under a harder piece of the suit. Letting everyone know when they look and see it, that Canada is represented on the station with pride. Job: Astronaut - Safety Specialist and Shuttle Pilot Brief Background: Neil came up from the slums of a First Nations reserve. And for the first decade and some of his life, wasn't expected to go anywhere because of his lower income upbringing and the gang mentality of his peers. But peer pressure didn't bring him down, he worked to excell, and to persevere. Where his age group got into drugs and drink. He got into sports and math. He went to university on a sports scholarship but excelled in academics. So much so that the place he played for made exceptions for their aspiring player. He went on to enter the military namely the airforce, and there again excelled, becoming a pilot of fighter jets. And applied for astronaut training as well. In between training, and his duties he went back to the reserve and gave talks to students about what he'd done, and implored them to look beyond the reserve and try to become more then just slum kids and look to their academics. He got his go ahead to enter space training. And went through all that good stuff with gusto. When he was ready he was approached to pilot several missions, operating the shuttle quite well, and with the reflexes that befitted a fighter pilot. He went up on small missions at first, before being offered one of the shuttle pilot positions on the Prospect Horizon. There he ferried goods to and from shuttles coming in that were unable to dock or helping to maneuver larger pieces of the station or experiments in and out of holding positions on the station. He's spent three 5 months periods on the station on and off since he got the position. Special Equipment: Five spools of safety cord, Back mounted thruster pack (one hour of fuel), small prototype grapnel gun with padded capture hook.
