And Casper didn't say anything about how well she was using her power. He said the others were commenting on how she was using it, not how well.

But adding 'efficiently' denotes 'how well she's using' her abilities. The others were commenting how she was using her abilities, but he said that 'she's using her abilities more efficiently than you assume' - no one was assuming anything about how well she was using her abilities, asides the fact that it is dangerous for her to use, which in this case is a different topic altogether.

Actually, when he said that, he was referring to her brother's comment on how she might be overdoing it which is taxing her, denoting that she is being inefficient in her use of her power. Anyway, why does it matter so much what my character said? If we are going to nitpick I have plenty of stuff I've been keeping to myself.

While I understand that my character's attitude makes him out to be kind of a jerk (after all, he's been largely alone his whole life and practically raised himself) I just want to make sure that when it comes his turn to fight, you won't simply decide he's going to lose because he needs to be knocked down a peg. (I do plan on having him soften up a bit as the story progresses.) After all, his skills are quite formidable, and I'd hate to have it be a bygone conclusion that he will lose simply because of his personality and the fact that the previous two people had already won. So, what do you say?

What your character will do will decide the outcome of the battle, my friend. It has nothing to do with attitudes.

Now Keith's features were even more animal like. His eyes were no longer the same sharp green, but the pale green of a cat, and his nails were suddenly longer and sharp. like claws. His feral smile had not faded at all and he spoke through the grin, his eyes locked onto his opponent.

@Polaris North So, I was wondering why your character already seems to know what species my character is. After all, Keith thought werecat because of my half transformation, so why does your character only think he's half right?

Well Keith is his idol so he believes everything that he says. He manages to convince himself to believe whatever he said. As you can see, he's not too bright but if it bothers you, I'll edit it.
