Senran Kagura Roleplay!

Hey, howdy, hello. So I've been playing Senran Kagura for a while now. I decided, why not make up an RP for it. So far here are my Ideas
- For the first few In game months/days/year the new students socialize, train and bond as a team at their respective schools.
- There will be an event where all the schools come to show off their skills as shinobi at a festival
- Rumors of a new school spread
- Rumors of environmental disasters appearing
- Each school will try to defend their schools from the cause of the environmental disaster



Hanzo National Academy
Hanzo Academy is a prestigious ninja school. It was founded by and named after the legendary shinobi Hanzo. It is affiliated with good moralized Shinobi. This Academy is mainly for carefree Shinobi who are more casual about their school life, placing friendship first and training last. Somehow they still managed to win last year's battle at the festival of Shinobi. They aren't incredibly physically strong but are strong willed.

Hebijo Clandestine Academy
Hebijo Clandestine Academy is a ninja school affiliated with evil ninja. It is considered the rival school of the Hanzo Academy. This academy is one for those who choose the 'darker' side of the Shinobi path. At this academy training is near to constant, but the students can still be found slacking off somewhere. The Shinobi of this school are physically strong, but are not strong willed.

Gessen Gracious Academy
Gessen Gracious Academy is a preppy school only children of the powerful may enter. After students graduate, they generally become Good Shinobi but some become Evil Shinobi, in the end, it's their choice. It was established during the Azuchi-Momoyama Period, and all students there graduate with strong Shinobi powers. The students here are taught several things besides Shinobi tactics. They're constantly under fire with exams learn just about everything knowledge wise about being a shinobi and learn deeply on how to use their spirit energy. The Shinobi of this school are of medium strength and will but can use magic.

Plot:
Good Shinobi, Evil Shinobi, they are two sides of the same coin. In the age we live in today there is a secret community that truly runs the country. No, not the Kiryuin corporation, even more powerful than that. The Shinobi. People who have devoted their lives to become ninjas. You would be surprised by how many governmental disputes are settled by Shinobi missions. While that side of the Shinobi life style is mainly shrouded in mystery many schools around the country offer students the chance to learn and graduate in the ways of Shinobi and to later go on thrilling and life endangering missions. Though, there are specific academies which are specialists in taking in young students who wish to become a Shinobi. They act as normal schools on the inside, exams, festivals, rivalries, sporting competition, school clubs, just about anything a regular school would do. Near the end of every year, the best students from each school are entered into the Great Duel, at the festival of Shinobi, where they fight to be first place and bring home the prized golden cup to their school.

It's the begging of the school year and your application has been accepted. You can't wait to join your new school, living on campus will be a dream, and becoming a Shinobi will finally be a reality for you!

Personality: A little rough around the edges Kimiko isn't that great at interacting with people. More often than not, she will say something that offends somebody, but really, she means it in a good way. Genrally pushy and abusive she is impatient and likes to get her way. If she's abusing you, physically or verbally, than you know you're on her good side. So it's best not to get on her bad side... When it comes to fighting she become a bit of a sadist and loves to inflict pain on her enemies although she's never killed anyone before, she wouldn't think twice about it.

Bio: Growing up an only child, Kimiko was used to getting what she wanted. Unfortunately for her when she threw a tantrum and her parents refused to give in they would deliver harsh punishments on her instead. That was probably where she gotten her sadist streak from. Her parents were both evil Shinobi, so it was natural that she would become a Shinobi herself later in life. Her plans after graduation are to find and kill her parents for the torture they put her through... If she can bring herself to do it that is.

Weapon: Twin Ninjatō along with several throwing knives.
Ninja Arts:
-Nightspeed Arc: With a burst of lightning, Shana dashes across enemy lines with blades in hand slashing away with deadly accuracy. She’s seen as a flicker of blue light during this attack.

-Fluttering Flash Step: A chain combo starting with a barrage of her knives. Once the enemy is disorientated, she closes in with two slashes from her blades before launching the enemy with a lightning charged pinwheel kick.

Ultimate Hidden Attack: Not unlocked yet.

Personality:
A silent girl that usually keeps to herself but can be found regularly at the various training centers of Gessen Gracious Academy. Unfortunately, her cool and sophisticated nature has made her quite the student favorite to the underclassmen much to her chagrin. She doesn’t mind too much though she still prefers the peace of solitude.

Even in combat, Shana is never one to make brash remarks and treats all missions as a true Shinobi should. Her favorite hobbies include secretly marveling at cute animals as well as finding new places to balance on. It’s not uncommon to find her standing gracefully atop the school flag pole at three in the morning.

Bio:
A prestiged member of the Sakai Clan, noted for their inherent usage of lightning magic. Shana was trained to be a Shinobi as early as seven years old. In that ten year time frame, she’s become quite an adversary to both enemy and ally alike. Sometime ago she was accepted into Gessen Gracious Academy.

Since then, she’s excelled at the top of her classes in both the mind and the body. She’s even rumored to be the fastest Shinobi in the school thanks in part to her natural affinity to lightning. Of course, with great achievement comes great loneliness. She’s too prideful to admit it, but she lacks friends, often remaining aloof from peers. Maybe she’ll bond with someone this school year?

Tonbo Tani

Weapon: An O-Wakizashi and kunai (he's new at the kunai)
Ninja Arts:
Utmost control: This allows Tonbo can control any part of his body as he chooses, allowing him to change the direction of his sword mid-swing with little effort or contort his body mid-air to avoid thrown weapons.

Kagemusha: Tonbo moves so fast that he leaves an afterimage before appearing above and behind his opponent, using gravity to add strength to his slash to the back.

Ultimate Hidden Attack: [Your Ultimate Attack which becomes unlocked later in the RP]

Personality: Tonbo made himself copy the personality of the original Tonbo, a somewhat arrogant child that nothing important would happen without him. This was in contrast to his personality that was slightly timid, caring and full of compassion who craves human contact. When Tonbo allows his own personality to shine through it's not uncommon for him to try hug people.

Since the unfortunate instance concerning the original, Tonbo has taken over more and more responsibilities making his own personality becoming more and more repressed and more potent when he lowers the mask. This has become such a rare opportunity that Tonbo never truly drops the facade, always maintaining strict control and never allowing himself to act in any way the original wouldn't.

This has caused an extreme amount of mental strain on Tonbo where he has become worried that he is wholly becoming the mask of the original.

Bio: Tonbo was kagemusha, a decoy, for the first born of the Tani family. A traditional family that was prided on being among the blacksmiths of their time, before changing focus to becoming the owners of a mercantile company.

Tonbo was secretly adopted into the Tani family and him having a near identical appearance to the first born was a stroke of luck. Having his old name stricken from official records Tonbo was given the son's name and started living the public life of the Tani's first born. Only the original Tonbo and the immediate Tani family knew of Tonbo's existence. When the original was struck down by a targeted hit and run assassination, the head announced that it was the kagemusha. From that day on Tonbo has been living the real life of Tonbo.

Weapon: Two long chains with kunai at their ends. She also has a normal wakizashi as a backup weapon.

Ninja Arts:
Critical Pain - Shinobu fires a mass of black, hardened tendrils from her hands to crush a single target. The shinobi herself does not know what the material this Ninja Art produces but she is sure they are not chains.

Metal Dance - Shinobu spins multiple times with her chains extended, damaging anyone unlucky enough to be in the reach of the fast-moving metal chains.

Personality:
Shinobu has a timid and reserved nature, often keeping to herself things like her opinions on this current situation at hand. She has trouble making big choices or decisions and prefers other people to do the choosing for her. This aspect of her makes her a nice errand girl but fortunately this does not get abused by her comrades in Hanzo. Much.

She is also an otaku and likes spending her free time watching anime and reading manga, some of which are works of Gessen's Murakumo.

Bio:
Shinobu was never told by her shinobi parents where she originally came from or who her biological parents were or what exactly happened to her before she was five and adopted. All they told her was she was a child from an orphanage who looked like a five-year-old, lying on a bed in a catatonic state. She snapped out of her catatonia at age six and had a normal life since then with her shinobi parents which she admired and planned on following.

The young girl finally realized her dream by enrolling in Hanzo National Academy as a good shinobi, like her parents were. She was not sure what to expect in the school and the mystery of her past still boggles her but she entered the school with a smile and... not much else.

'Commonly despised as a augur of death, but it is Satus' favourite bird.'

Weapon:
In addition to average ninja weapons such as shuriken and kunai, Obra's signature weapons are two sickles linked by a long chain. One sickle is sharp and held in the left hand, whilst the other is blunt and is held in the right hand. Common fighting strategy is to 'hook' an adversary with the blunt sickle, and pull them towards him to be hit with the sharper sickle. For this reason, Satus is ambidextrous.

Ninja Arts:

Persistent Fog
Not particularly considered a ninja art, as it's a passive "ability", but it's significant enough to warrant a note.
For the most part, Satus is commonly covered in a mist that normally accumulates around his feet, but occasionally rises to cover an area around him.

Shapes in the Mist
One of the signature abilities of the Mistvell Order. An ninja art which creates anything various forms of fogs. Each one has a different effect, although only one can be active at a time. Satus is impaired to the effects of his product:

Fog:
The most basic form of Shapes in the Mist. Creates a visibility reducing fog. Satus himself is relatively unaffected by the visibility reducing aspect. Aside from this, this form of the art is safe to breathe and is easy to maintain. Fog also has the largest radius of 14 metres.

Smog:
Fog mixed with smoke. Tinted yellow, Satus finds this use of Shapes in the Mist to be more effective in battle and assassination, as it is significantly more dangerous than a basic fog. Smog causes eye irritation and slight breathing issues for distractions, but has a smaller radius at around 10 metres.

Vog:
The most dangerous form of Shapes in the Mist, volcanic fumes. Vog has the smallest radius of 6 metres, and takes quite a large amount of energy to uphold, but has the most debilitating effects. Extensively standing in vog causes headaches, nausea, eye irritation and sore throats. Satus uses will sometimes use it for assassinations, because with high enough quantities, it can kill.

Fume's Night
Obra conceals himself in Fog, Smog or Vog, and uses the concealment to toss the blunt sickle outward in an attempt to pull his target inside of the fog's radius. From there, Satus, pummels his target and then kicks them out of said fog.

Ultimate Hidden Attack:

Personality:
Manipulative and cunning while maintaining just enough sarcasm and snark to give himself some form of personality, Satus Obra is one of the many "evil" ninjas which exist within Gessen Gracious Academy. A member of the Mistvell Order, his lawful evil nature comes from the fact that he obeys the ancient tenets set by the Order without question, recognizing that these tenets may be cruel and do not entwine with common laws, but obeying them nonetheless. It is for this exact reason that he undergoes all of his missions with utmost seriousness, monotone and deadpan; still enough room to snark to his opponents in combat though. Satus has also been seen to take a leader role in situations where he is in a group, assuming that the ninjas he is consorting with at the time are evil. Or apart of the Mistvell Order.

An unusual quirk of his is that he uses Gessen Gracious Academy's cooking facilities to cook a traditional English breakfast when he's particularly happy.

There's no explanation for that.

Bio:
The Mistvell Order is a ninja clan distant from common civilization. Their base of operations can be found surrounded by a series of high mountains, and sits in the middle upon a low-lying flatland, and draped in an everlasting mist. The Mistvell order is known for having tenets which are expected to be followed at all times. Where most of these tenets are fairly simple and expected, there is one tenet in the Mistvell doctrine which causes the Mistvell Order to be classified as an evil clan:

'For the right price, anything.'

No job is too big, no fee is too big. The Mistvell Order will perform any serious job without question, as long as the price is right. Both petty and grand scale theft, assassinations of leaders, peasants and all in-between. The Mistvell Order's doctrine is followed by all ninjas in the clan, and in most cases it is completely necessary for the young within the clan to be taught within the clan. It is unusual that such a clan would require to send their young to a ninja school; such is the case with Satus Obra. He has been trained with the use of mist arts, fully understood the doctrine and has undergone missions several times before at the behest of Mistvell, but attends Gessen Gracious not to learn how to be a ninja, but rather to learn to further his abilities as one.
