Adelisa grinned and said, along with a monotone Adam, "Harley Quinn!" She sat down next to Ryan, but shifted uncomfortably when the necklaces were brought up. Adam flashed his and shrugged. "Apparently, Lola and I are destined." Adelisa saw the expectant look from Adam and she glanced slightly at Caden before looking at Ryan and showing her the red pendant that dangled from the silver chain. "I got red" was all she said before sitting back in her seat and looking down at her combat boots. A blush rose from her neck as she said the color. It was going to happen sooner or later, so why not just get the introductions out of the way?

After a few minutes, Alice finally arrived home. She changed into a pair of running shorts and a t-shirt as her pajamas and sat on her desk. Now that she had her presents for the twins, she decided to write in their birthday cards too.

For Adelisa, it was a lot easier to figure out what to say so she started out hers first:
Dear Adelisa,
Happy Birthday! You are an amazing girl who's pretty much the entire package: you are smart, funny, gorgeous, and musically talented. I am definitely grateful to have you in my life. So let's celebrate your birthday this year and every year from now on with fun, excitement, and cheers, whether we are 21 or 83. Stay rocking and once again happy birthday!

Alice sighed as she filled the card easily without even getting to write everything she wanted to. Darn the small cards and her large handwriting. But there was Adam's card. While she didn't HAVE to sign it, she kind of wanted to... She wondered whether to keep it simple or not, formal or informal, and heart-felt or platonic. She decided to practice on scrap pieces of paper before she wrote in the actual card to see what she liked.

Happy Birthday! Hope you have a good one!

Yikes, she can't give him something as embarrassing as that. Finally after fifteen or so tries, she wrote one that she was satisfied with.

Happy Birthday! You're a cool guy who deserves to have an awesome birthday so I hope you have a good one.

Concise, simple, and does not show any obvious hints that she may or not like him. She placed the cards into envelopes and then placed the envelopes into their respective bags with their presents. Finally, she was done with presents and it was like a load was lifted off her shoulder.

Adelisa looked up and smiled at Caden. "Mostly rock, but we do a bit of pop stuff if we like the song." Adam smirked as he sat in the passenger side and waiting for Jess to take her to her house. They were soon dropped off and Adelisa asked "so, what do you like to do?"

Before he could answer, Ryan and Jess showed up and Adelisa smiled. She didn't like drinking much, so she'd just take sips of whatever concoction Jess made. Adam grinned at the thought of a cocktail. He really wanted something.

Caden was distracted from his answer with the arrival of Jess and newcomer Ryan. He didn't mind more people, but his shy streak was starting to show through by being surrounded by so many "strangers". Silently he wished Blake was there with him, at least he'd have somebody he knew to talk to and have his back. Turning back to Adelisa with a half shrug. "I'm really into music too, but I'm not so good with an instrument. So I...Uh, I um... I DJ." He mumbled, eyes turning to the ground embarrassed like. There wasn't anything wrong with DJ's per say, but when talking to a real musician, a DJ was nothing more than a talentless thief.

Caden what would you like?

"Oh, uh... I'm fine with anything... You wouldn't happen to have any of that Jack Daniel's Lemonade though, would you? Tried it at a music festival, now I'm hooked. Sounds pretty girly doesn't it?" Caden tried laughing his nerves off, the smile he wore helping to relieve some of his stress.

The topic of the necklaces seemed to bring mixed feelings from the group. The boy twin, Adam, seemed quite content with his result. He couldn't quite tell, though, whether the pair believed in the rumors or not. "Congratulations on finding your pair Adam." He offered lightly, hoping it wasn't out of place to say something of the sort. His eyes then shifted to Adelisa who wore the same colored pendant as he. Eyes glued to the ground in front of him, Caden clasped his hands to keep them from shaking awkwardly. "Th-the color red looks really good on you, Adelisa..." He could feel the heat in his face but forced himself to look up calmly and smile.

Decker ignored Jess' text. He knew from reviving it she would not meet him, so there would be no business. He was shooting and swearing the whole time he was there. "Hypocritical piggy. Who the hell does that punk think they are, huh?" He dropped his rifle and stormed out. "I'm going home. I'm clearly not wanted here. Or anywhere else for that matter. May as well call Jay." He got out his phone. "Hi Jay. What you know about that! You were at that stinking party the whole time? Then why get me to come. Oh hah hah very funny, you're a great comedian. Yes that was her. No I was not! Shut up! Don't know why I even called you. Ta-ra!" He was really steamed by the time he got home. The first thing he did was sat down in his study and filled a couple of reports for the investigation of David Willson, teh guy he arrested earlier that day.

Yes Caden I have some of Jack Daniels lemonade. Also it isn't a girly drink! And if anyone says it is send em too me I'll sock'em in the mouth for ya. And I could help but overhear as Ryan and I walked in that you DJ? That is awesome! It takes a lot of time and work to do. You have to be experienced with picking out sounds from background too know what to mix, and you have to know how something sounds and keep track with what goes good with it, and make sure it is still interesting without overdoing it. DJing is hard work! I respect it! Anyway I will go get you that lemonade, and I wore this I kept the promise now I am done with the pendent.

Jess grabbed and tugged at her necklace till it finally came off and threw it on the couch so it would not break, and then headed into the kitchen to get Caden's Lemonade.

While Jess was in the kitchen she decided to text Dexter one more time to make sure he knew she was not just pranking him one time.

Dear Porky,

I know I did not meet you at the range like you requested, but fear not I will still keep in contact. This is not a prank done for laughs. I am doing this because you need to be taught why your gluttonous and greedy and irresponsible actions do cause consequences. You are used to being a jerk and getting your way with everyone. That will not work with me because you are a baby in my eyes. I deal with harassment worse than you could ever conceive of attempting on a daily basis. I will not hurt you, but I will teach you. Actual the first half of that statement is wrong due to it's lack of specification. I will not physically harm you, and I will not harm you in a way that will make you a mentally unstable pig. I will just harm possibly your pride.

I have to go now, but I will text back because I want to make you a better person. I hope it is possible, or you will live a life of solitude due to people leaving you because you cannot control your temper.

And nothing hurt his pride, beacause of somebody was going to be the first to laugh it would be him! He simply replied, "You don't know where I am. You don't know where to find me. So good luck with reshaping my morals, punk!" He laughed looking at his calendar. Tomorrow would be his 'jolly boys outing' with Jay and he wouldn't miss it for the whole world. A day of rock songs, smoking, and laughs. It was his favourite day every month, and this month they were going to a dirt biking tournament. He prayed that nobody would find him tomorrow exept for Jay, and the bartender.

"Hahaha, yeah I am." Caden scratched the back of his head as he chuckled, beginning to feel more comfortable now that he knew someone understood his craft. "You've got a good point. A lot of "DJs" these days overdo it with the effects or end just end up with a ipod playlist. You've got to be able to find a particular balance, especially if you're interested in mixing your own songs. I'm not quite there yet myself, but it's a goal of mine." Sitting back on his hands, Caden nodded his thanks at Jess' offer to retrieve his drink, returning his attention back to the twins he'd been speaking to earlier.

"If you guys are willing, maybe some time I can listen to you guys play? I love discovering new bands." He asked hopefully, turning his head as Jess re-entered with his drink. Accepting it gratefully, he shook his head with a smile. "No, it's alright. I asked for an odd drink anyway, I'm surprised you actually had it." Caden took a sip and sighed contently, the sweet liquid raising his spirits and calming him down some.

Jess was happy Caden was calming down. She knew he was shy based off of being alone at the party and he was getting more nervous after her and Ryan showed up but now he is getting calmer. She wanted to make it up to him for the beer incident and get him and Adelisa talking because both of them seem to believe in the good for nothing pendants, and theirs match. But she also wants to make sure to help them if they are not compatible to deal with it and not to conform to the gem.

I am glad you like it! Yeah we have pretty much anything you can think of in this cabinet, and my mom never checks it just drinks sometimes. Or when she has parties. Anyway yeah I respect DJing alot.

Decker sneered when he saw Jess' text. "Alright," He typed. "Listen here. You will not try and find me tomorrow. You will not try to text me tomorrow, beacause tomorrow is special. And don't you dare insult my parents job in raisng me! Never bring up my family! Ever! You don't know why I'm like this! You don't understand what your dealing with here, do you? You can leave well alone! Now stop texting me for Christsake!" He was really agitated. When talking to him, his family was a very touchy subject. He crashed on his sofa, bringing out a guitar with the black jack on it. "Only one thing to do!" He started to play a quick melody then sang.

While everyone was talking Decker texted Jess again and misunderstood what she meant so she decided to apologize and explain.

I know your parents did an excellent job in raising you. You are joining the academy and risking your life daily for the good of the people! I know you can be nice, and you are careful. I promise to not talk about your family again.

I agree to not contact you in anyway tomorrow because I know its a special day for you. Don't worry.

You are right. I do not know why you became a jerk. I think it has something to do with getting ignored at a crucial point in your life and now you refuse to be ignored no matter what. That is understandable. I don't know what you have gone through, but at the same time you do not know what I have gone through, and am going through. You don't know if I would understand you or not, but don't assume.

I hope you let me try to help you sort out issues you have. I will leave you alone for the rest of the night and tomorrow so you can have a good day.

Decker was smiling and laughing, for a bit. His favorite time was when he was with his guitar alone, or on a shooting range.

Jess noticed after texting Decker that everyone was still talking so she decided to go ahead and make Adelisa's Harley Quinn coctail, and make herself a poison ivy one while she was at it while waiting for Adam to figure out what he wanted.

Well I will go make Adelisa's AWESOME Harley Quinn because she is one of the best comic characters of all time, and make myself a poison Ivy. Adam maybe thing of a singer or movie or tv show or instrument I can make as a coctail for ya.

Jess then got up off the floor where she sat so everyone had a seat and walked back into the kitchen to make the drinks.

Blake rolled her eyes at Raleigh as he tried to embarrass them. "Do you really have to bother the lovely couple Ral?" Blake questioned jokingly as she looked over at him, her eyes sparkling playfully. "I honestly hate to say it but they may be cuter than us." Blake said teasingly. Blake was happy for Lorelei, she could truly tell that Lore was truly happy with Pete. Which made Blake begin to rethink her denial of what the necklace truly meant.
