Half-Faunus is fine, the main character of the AU (and his younger siblings) are half-breed.
Teachers are GM only.
I believe we reached a consensus awhile back on the wiki that dust is literal elemental effects unless the character has a semblane which allows them to translate the literal element into metaphysical properties, such as Weiss' glyphs (as the time Blake used dust for an attribute bonus it was via one of Weiss' glyphs) meaning in general only mage type characters can use those potential properties.
No weapons made of pure dust, they would be too volatile. Having pure dust forged into the steel/iron/bronze/whatever metal is fine, though.

If we get 4 reserve players I may consider adding another team to the lineup.

As a side note, fnaf disgusts me, and I dislike having to look at that stupid fox.

I was thinking of a half-faunas male that does not know his faunas roots. Would his faunas abilities be weaker as a result? For example, he would not have night vision like a faunas but he has low light vision (twilight light levels)(not the book)? His animal trait is going to be subtle.

@fer1323 If he's a faunus (of any fraction), he would know it, as he would have variant biology to some degree. Ears, tail, fangs, eyes, etc.Of course, if they are part human it is possible they wouldn't manifest any faunus traits or abilities,in which case being a hybrid is only relevant if they have children, or if I decide to make plot crap happen relating to it. In the event he doesn't manifest faunus traits, then it would be fine for him to not know his heritage.

We can't keep waiting for you, I would rather not do this but I'm going to have to revoke your co-gm status, and we will be looking for replacement for your character. If you turn up before such a time as you are fully replaced, your character will be preserved, but your GM status has been compromised by the extended absence. I understand it may be due to family or real life issues, but if that is the case it is likely easier for you to have less on your plate to deal with.

@Phantomlink959: I've seen the entire first season of the show, and played three RWBY RPGs to varying levels of success.

That being said, if you give me a quiz on plot events I'm probably not gonna do so hot xD

Watch the second volume, please. Also, while we are trying to stick to canon mechanics, storyline is entirely my own design, and i have filled in some gaps of information, trying my best to avoid going too far off the logical path.
Oh, and my character standards are pretty high. doesn't need to be a five page backstory or anything, but i have lot of specific criteria i apply to characters.

Okay, but watching it won't be for a few more days. I have time to post RP things (mostly cause I can do it in school) but watching a three hour series is not within time bounds until Monday...

Not really, just preferential. (oh, and V2 is only around 2 hours, not 3)
Mostly i have absurdly high character standards for an otherwise mid-casual RP.

It helps to be a little more specific. His more hidden gripes tend to be:
- weapons he can’t picture in his head how they work (Yang's bracelets for instance aren’t a weapon he’s fond of since those straight up use hammer space.);
- grimm related semblances (controlling or harnessing their power in any way,shape or form);
- grimm made weapons (cannon heavily implies their bones and limbs disintegrate over time when severed from the main body);
- ports (made a knuckles the echidna oc once, most liked it, he didn’t);

Outside of that, as long as you don’t make your character a Sue, you should be fine.

Excuse me? Ember Celica are one of the EASIEST weapons for me to map out, if you recall I used the basic concept for one of my characters weapons.
