Hello and welcome to The Melody of Dreams! This is… well, I don’t really know what this is. The brainchild of “I have too much free time on my hands” and “I love making things for other people” I suppose.

_{~What I Do~}

~Digital Art: My main area of expertise; I will do banners, wallpapers, signatures/avatars, and generally anything else that can be done digitally. These will be done whenever I have the inspiration for them, not necessarily in a first-come-first-serve order. Generally, expect about 3 to 5 days of wait-time, but maybe more if I'm having issues with my inspiration.
~MUSIC!: I also offer theme music! These will be MIDI scores unless you're willing to wait for a break in my already-hectic musical career, and I'm limited to voice, clarinet, and piano compositions for live recordings. Sheet music can also be provided for either type of recording upon request. Because of how time-consuming these are, expect 14-21 days of wait-time.

_{~How This Works~}

~Post in this thread or send me a PM with the below forms of what you’re asking for. I will reply to your message denoting that you’re added to the waiting list.
~Wait the specified wait-time or until I get your request done; if it is not done within the wait time that I specified, please yell at me.
~Credit me wherever you use the art. Just a little note in your signature, or at the end of your character sheet/RP post that you intend to use my art for. I put a lot of work into these and it makes me feel appreciated when I get credit for it.

Character Concept Request

Character name: Aulfr Volsung
Species: Regular ol' human.
Apparent age: 23
Skin color: White, though is tanned, and a little weathered
Eye color: Brown
Hair color: Light/medium brown
Hair style: Nearly jaw-length, keeps it out of his face and relatively straight, and nothing more. Hangs freely.
Height: About six foot two.
Weight: 185 lbs., give or take ten or so.
Notable features: Rough and weathered, though not overly so- just enough that it's slowly starting to show, especially on hands and arms. A surprisingly tender gaze in a harder face.
Clothing style: Will usually wear attire similar to this. In fact, this image is what I originally made him out to be, in his CS sheet.
Personality: Confident, and hard- does not yield easily, but only does so because he cares about his underlings.

Text on drawing: None, or if you find some quote or phrase that matches him particularly well.
Color palette: Generally lighter colors, with sparser dark ones to highlight certain parts?
Overall character theme: Serious, though a... glint of amusement, I suppose? Maybe wielding a kopesh and a straight, faintly bluish shortsword in his offhand.
Any other notes: I dunno.

Length of composition: Minute thirty or however long you want.
Overall style of music: Classical
Instrumentation: Piano, whatever else.
Theme: Forboding

If it helps for other details too, PoW encompasses a pretty wide spectrum of peoples and anything that can bind them would be great. Any small verses that refer to the included peoples would be great to hear but not required or recommended; but if you want to try for the sake of pushing yourself than so be it.

Similarly, if you stretch out enough notes you could get away with artificially padding the length but I don't want to see you pushing anything out over too many beats just to say you went out over your minimum recommendation. Personally, I'd like to see something closer to two or three minutes; but under the given circumstances if that's too much than do what you do.

Oh dear. I think it'll take me at least a month to just read the thread, nevermind write the score. Nonetheless, I look forward to trying to write a score for such an epic thing. However I have some IRL music stuff coming up that all my musicality is currently going into, so it might be a touch delayed.
