I wouldn't be so sure that you'll be knocking over the huge guy. and we may need to put some limits on that as such a powerful cc should not be able to be used very freely else entire armies be felled by a little wolf girl with a lute.

It'a defensive, and it's not extremely powrful. Like, knock people hundreds of feet back. More, she knocks people three feet back and possibly off their feet.

Well I had been hoping there would be one more round ofpost for breakfast and then maybe another round of people getting ready for the big meeting, but nobody has responded to my last post in the breakfast scene and its been like a week so I may move that forward a bit though The_Written_John and Leslie Hall are mia and Cuccoruler has neglected to post anything despite checking in often and being active in other rps so who knows if that can even happen till I creepily find out where they live and threaten then to post at gunpoint

@Absolis I mentioned Adria reaching for something, as in her instrument, but that's about as much "interference" as I have. I thought it would make sense, but if not I'll just remove that line.

@IcePezz Regarding Liara, she can simply sleek out of the surrounds and join Kalar, or can appear at Adria's side I guess. I left her presence ambiguous to allow me a bit more freedom in my post, sorry if that's thrown a spanner in the works. Adria's predicament would have demanded quick and decisive action though, on Kalar's part, so I thought the talking could wait.

Not to worry :) I'm still here. If ever we need to get the ball rolling, it would be where the council would challenge Sariel to come up with evidence that his dreams have substantial and concrete basis for concern. In this case, the princes and princess could go and interact with the squad or something.

Sariel will probably not be getting any help at this meeting from any actual evidence as it will take several days for the lot of them to get to the capital.

But who knows we could just retcon this to have happened days ago and then they show up at the meeting anyway. If anyone has an opinion on that feel free to speak up.

I feel that to be an obvious avenue, we could fast forward the messenger's arrival after the Battle of Okly, and then we could also progress the events surrounding White Woods to the "present day".

By the by, what's evil been up to all this time? Are you one-manning it, Titan?

Kalar was supposed to be a side story, a minor spring off, but he and his companions have taken center stage it would seem. Not that I mind that, of course. It would be nice if the evil characters could be do something concurrently though, so I don't have to keep making stuff up for them :P

My side of the story:

Kalar Splint's rangers found a torched caravan on the Geshmere Road. The caravan came from the village of Okly, and Kalar decided to go and check the place out, to make sure it was okay. Along the way, he met Adria the bard and recruited her into his service, and also sent Liara - his trusted champion - ahead to scout Okly before he and his men got there.

Liara reached Okly, found it in scorched ruins and saw a whole bunch of bad guys, and then skulked away. Adria, who was sent ahead because of her wolf-stamnia's ability to outpace the human rangers, blunders into aforementioned bad guys.

Kalar and his men catch up, and arrive just in time to save her a good shoeing from a bandit warlord, and his villainous cronies.

I would recommend reading at least the last page of IC for more details, but if you want to walk into my story as a good character, then I would be happy to make room for your arrival and brief you on the other players involved, and their characters.

Yes you can still apply. So far the King and his family have been trying to have a lighthearted family gathering before a meeting with all of the kingdom's top military officials later in the day. Elsewhere and possibly in the past a group of rangers came upon a burnt caravan in the middle of a storm. They met with a few other characters including a half-wolf bard and a roaming half-demon warrior and now those characters are ddescending upon the burnt out city of Okly and confronted by a band of 50 dark side bandits/undead/void creatures. The Dark side's inner circle is in the middle of a bit of oath swearing, but my co-gm is mia and that has gotten nowhere fast. I hop things will move more swiftly as finals are finished up.
