The Story So Far

8 long years have gone by.

The four ghouls have returned to the house they spent their childhood in, only to find that it is already occupied.

A group of young ghouls has taken refuge inside the house, and one tried to attack them.

What will they do about this? And what consequences this will have in the future?

It is still impossible to say for sure, but one thing is sure.

They are about to get caught in a huge shitstorm.

Name: Kasachi Hyouta, "Kachi"
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Height & Weight: 5'6" (1.68m) & 165 lbs. (75kg)
Sexuality: Heterosexual

CCG Rating: SS+
CCG Title: Deathstalker/Wraith (Kakuja)

Mask: Might as well own the title.
RC Type: Koukaku, Bikaku, and Kakuja
Kagune: His Koukaku manifests as a pair of dark, red-flecked wings. Their size can shift to suit smaller spaces, but his wingspan maxes out at about six meters. Sufficient to curl around him multiple times for layers of protection or reach out and smash his enemies at a distance. Growths resembling scorpion legs also reach over his shoulder and around his ribcage as if he's been hugged from behind by the bug. They offer some protection, but are quite fragile in comparison to the wings.

His Bikaku originally manifested as a single segmented tail reminiscent of a scorpion's albeit the stinger was replaced with a blade. An effective all-around weapon that could reach up to four meters far with nothing that really stood out about it. The first change came when he gained the ability to sprout a second tail. More recently he's developed a deadly ability with the Kagune. Much like how a scorpion's stinger delivers posion, the blade portion of his Bikakus can be coated with thin layer of red liquid. These specialized RC cells surge into any open wound inflicted and tear his victim apart from the inside. While costly to utilize as these RC cells are completely lost and must be replaced through consumption, the effectiveness is undeniable.

Lastly, but certainly not least is his Kakuja. It manifests from his entire back and quickly engulfs him in what appears to be black sludge. The end result is a human-shaped mass of what looks like crude oil flecked with red. The only visible points at this point are his Kakugan and even those are hard to see because they blend in. When he opens his mouth, the surface seems to stretch and tear before the strands snap apart and reveal pitch darkness. As one can expect, inflicting any damage on Kasachi becomes extremely difficult at this point. Any attempt to cut or pierce his armor finds heavy resistance while blunt trauma seems to be dissipated exceptionally well.

Special Quirk: Going for a double as a Chimera Kakuja. Dual Kagunes occurred the same way they did in other Chimeras, namely by the roll of dice. Nothing special about how Kasachi was born with those.

As for how he got his Kakuja, it was actually more likely than not to happen eventually. Even after his old man died, Kasachi continued to avoid humans and preyed on his own kind instead whenever possible. He was, of course, trying to force the mutation to occur as a means to get stronger and protect the three he considered family. It took him years of gluttonous feeding, carving into Ghoul populations from numerous Wards, before he developed the additional Kagune he desired.

Personality: At the core of Kasachi's personality is a fire to protect what remains of his family, and it burns strong almost a decade later. It is the anchor that holds him in-place, and much of what he does and did was for the purpose his old man left to him. He does truly think of the three as his siblings and treasures the time they spend together, even if that's not a lot by his own decisions.

Even before the development of his Kakuja, Kasachi was one of the more combat-oriented of his siblings. He relished in the use of his Dual Kagunes and enjoyed the rush of adrenaline that came with the fast-paced combat that Ghouls participated in. After developing his Kakuja, the sort of elation he derives from combat has only increased. While it's not overwhelming enough for him to prolong fights on purpose, he is certainly more excitable and displays very little restraint, even when it comes to Investigators.

Doesn't particularly care about other Ghouls beyond they're his primary food source. Not a big fan of reading, but does enjoy comedy and adventure television, film, etc. No particular feelings towards action beyond he already gets enough in real life.

Backstory: How does a Chimera, a result of an union between two Ghouls, end up on the streets alone with no one to look after them? Well the parents not actually loving one another is a good start. Add that they didn't want a child, but a weapon and that's already a pretty good recipe. Throw in one side's jealousy and rage when the successful product didn't belong to them, and oh geez that's just a mess waiting to be spilled. Suffice to say, but the couple had tried to conceive a Chimera numerous times before his success. Failures met an untimely and grisly end that fortunately he would avoid.

However when news of his Dual Kagunes reached the ears of the shafted party tensions climbed quickly. Guarded closely not because he was a child, but because of his worth his existence was enough to shatter the finely balanced agreement. Ghoul fought against ghoul in a short-lived and bloody conflict. While young, he had long known that there was no love in this household nor would there ever be. He had no father, and his "mother" didn't deserve the breath it took to utter the world. More immediately, he didn't any other reason than the cloying scent of blood and thump of corpses to flee the building.

That's not to say he made it out without a fight, but they'd already put him through his paces with the basics of Kagune handling. The Ghoul that on guard obviously hadn't expected much of a fight from some brat who couldn't have been older than ten. Which was why he fell quickly and without much of a struggle when wings enveloped him in darkness and a blade plunged through his chest. Despite the urge to dig into his first real meal rather than the slivers provided, the boy continued to run and put his past behind him.

The streets weren't much kinder, but there was a sense of freedom he quickly came to enjoy. Eventually though, the novelty died down as well and he was faced with the world's unkindness.

(Figure this part can get worked out when the four characters have been accepted. Sort of hard to write a history with three others when I don't know who they are after all.)

The old man had done a lot for Kasachi... enough that he could have stood by the smoldering remains for days and not be done with his thanks. His name, a home, a family, training... all that and more. He didn't linger for longer than was necessary to say his thanks to his father before he turned to the others. The pit that formed in his stomach at how uncertain their futures were didn't settle in the slightest, but he knew what his course of action was. He had never taken to school like some of them had, and despite the old man's insistence had spent more time on the street than in-class. Where some of his siblings had read books and gone through their schooling, he had spared with the old man and honed his ability to fight.

With the old man gone, he needed to be stronger to protect himself and his siblings. His current level of strength would not do... the old man's death was a painful, but clear reminder of that. While they did not follow the same path, his siblings did seem to agree that they all had their own paths to follow. With a promise to see each other and keep in touch they walked their separate paths. Kasachi hoped and wished them the best before he headed straight into a hell of his own making.

While Kasachi Hyouta might have disappeared then, it took a while before any news of Deathstalker began to circulate. A Chimera that devoured its own kind like a voracious eater, moving from Ward to Ward without care of territories and leaving plenty of conflict in its wake as Ghouls scrambled to become leader in the areas it had purged of previous ownership. Occasionally it would drop off the news for months on end, but just as rumors of its death began to circulate the Chimera would appear to feast again. There were even sparse reports of CCG encounters, but many were short-lived as the Ghoul seemed to quickly flee from Investigators that shouldn't have posed a challenge for such a rating.

Just as the rumors had seemed to become routine, yet another ripple stirred the mills. Apparently Deathstalker had been upgraded to a SS rank by the CCG, a rank certainly warranted by the rumor that held the Ghoul had obtained a Kakuja. Yet for all that people tried to find out about this new development it seemed that he had truly disappeared. Months passed by with little news, until it had been a year since any real sighting of the Ghoul.

As if to show the world, or more specifically three specific people, he still lived Kasachi appeared, clad in his Kakuja, in bright day-light. It was certainly an odd occurence with plenty of panic as the local CCG assets scrambled to respond, but he had retreated rapidly after confirming the first news camera on scene. No overlord or savior but himself. He did this several other times at apparently random intervals to reassure his family that, yes, he was still alive.

Although he had paid the grave numerous times, Kasachi could not say he had ever felt this proud when he approached. It wasn't hubris to say that only the greatest of threats would be able to harm what was left of his family as long as he was around. He promised the old man he would protect them to the best of his abilities, and now he hoped that they would let him do just that. For one reason they had gathered at the grave site today as well, so he supposed he was about to find out.

Other:
Enjoys Vietnamese iced coffee immensely. He can't use as much condensed milk since too much disagrees with his inhuman nature, but a bit doesn't bother him.
Often times Kasachi will leave human bodies untouched unless there's an urgent need to feed, such as he's just finished a battle with Investigators. It's probably a laughable effort from him, but he tries to at least make the corpses somewhat presentable. Better a clean cut to separate the legs or arms than bite marks.

"What is life but a testament of all the regrets you've suffered."

Name: Itsuki

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Height & Weight: 6ft, 175 lbs

Sexuality: Straight

CCG Rating: SS-

CCG Title: The Hunter

Mask:

Kagune: Itsuki's Kagune takes on the appearance of large, black tentacle covered with jagged, serrated scales, and ending in a hand-like appendage with 4 sharp claws. They can pack quite a punch, and the grasping claws can be used to pick up, drag, and toss around foes and random objects in a fight. He can have up to six of them at a time, and he can wrapp them around a limb to give it extra hitting power, or fuse them together to from an even bigger tendril that is more durable and hits harder, but is also slower and harder to maneuver, the more tentacles fused, the greater the bonuses and penalties will be.

RC Type: Rinkaku

Special Quirk: HAving spent 3 years in the 24th Ward while on his hunt for vengeance, he found himself forced to eat many many ghouls in order to survive. Dozens upon dozens of ghouls have fallen before him, and when he faced the Ghouls who killed and violated his love, he awakened the beast within him and became a Kajuka. His Kagune begans to pulse with a sickly white light and he gains scaled armor along his arms and upper body. His hans morph into deadly claws, and a mask forms over his face, reminiscent of some sort of dragonic monster. It covers his entire face, somewhat fusing with his head as well.

While in this form, his physical capabilities by a substantial margin, as well as alter his Kagune's capabilities. In Kakuja form, Itsuki's Kagune will take on a more refined form and can be fused together to make two thick clawed arms covered in scale-like armor. These arms are more durable than his base Kagune, meaning they aren't as easily cut by a foe's Kagune it a Dove's Quinque.

The downside to these abilities, however, is that Itsuki is still getting the hang of his Kakuja form, meaning that he's more likely to act instinctually while in it, essentially trading a good deal of his rationality for a sizable increase in power, and afterwards, he's struck by an intense form of hunger, fatigue, and weakness as his body struggles with the strain.

Personality: Itsuki always was one to have a smile in his face, regardless of how he really felt. Now of days, that smile hardly ever reaches his eyes anymore, as they're haunted by what he's scene and what he's done on the past four years. He tries his best to be there for others, and has long since lost his own sense of self-worth. The only reason he lives for now is so that he can protect those close to him.

Backstory: Itsuki found himself orphaned at a young age due to a Gang war between two rival Ghoul factions, the poor couple caught in the cross-fire. Young as he was, Itsuki had the presence of mind that he couldn't stay around his home any longer, and thus began to wander the streets like many other Ghoul's within Tokyo. However, he had the luck of being picked up by a kind old man, and in time, grew to bind with a new family. Life in the manor was grand, and as one of the older kids, he felt like it was his duty to protect his adopted brothers and sisters from any harm, getting in trouble from time to time for getting in fights with bullies, both human and the occasional ghoul.

This all changed one day, however, when he once again lost a loved one to violence. The knowledge of the old man's death struck him savagely, leaving a large hole in his life, but he didn't want to have this tragedy phase him. The old man had always done his best to make sure they could live as humans, and he continued to follow this path, working to keep up in his studies, burying himself in his work, all the while secretly trying to drown out his sorrow. The others left soon after the man's death, and while it saddened him to see his family splinter off like that, at that time, he was too absorbed with his self-given task. As he grew up, his grades and school life seemed to get better and better, while his depression got worse and worse. He saw only futility in his present course after awhile,as he knew discovery was just one simple misstep away, and then he'd end up just like the old man. He likely would've killed himself sooner or later, but one chance encounter with another student at a student council meeting completely changed his life. Hiyori was her name, and she was nothing but energy and ambition, determined to become an Investigator and protect people from the ghoul threat.

She had come to the council to get approval on a ghoul awareness rally, and was given unanimously approval(no matter how much he wish he had a choice not to), but then he somehow got roped into helping her plan it. To say it was an extremely ironic and terrifying scenario was an understatement, as he found himself in constant contact with someone who openly stated she wanted to become a ghoul's worse nightmare. However, as they spent time together, he found himself becoming inexplicably drawn to her. Even after the rally was done with, the two continue to spend time together.

This relationship continued even after she became a investigator at the age of 18, as the two had become grown deeply in love. He always suspected that she knew his true nature, though, but she never seemed like she was anxious or nervous around, almost like she didn't care. Whether or not that was true, however, would never be proven. 2 years later, Hiyori was found torn to pieces after her mentor had decided to go after a particularly dangerous pair of ghouls. The evidence suggested that while her mentor was killed quickly, Hiyori was raped and tortured before she died.

And so Itsuki lost another loved one, but this time, he wasn't goong to let the monsters who did this get away with it. He left his human life behind and went into the hell where the two ghouls were rumored to have retreated to escape CCG pursuit: the 24th ward. He spent 4 years in that hell, throwing away all of his kindness and pacisfistic ways in his singular desire for vengeance. He devoured many a ghoul, as there were no peaceful ways to feed in this constant battlefield, and the only law was that of the jungle, where the strong reign and the weak are slaughtered.

A week previous to the beginning of this RP, Itsuki has returned to his homeward, having obtained his vengeance about a month before. . . but at what cost? He has no clue of what to do next in his life, and feels as lost as the day his parents died. Seeking guidance, he returns to the mansion of his childhood, hoping he can find some sort of answer with in it's charred remains.

Other:
Due to a mutation within his genes, Itsuki's Kakugan turns his pupils and iris a pale, lumnesent white instead of red, giving them an unnerving look, even to other ghouls.

"People often think that we humans get the short straw when dealing with Ghouls. Trust me, that's not the case. Hm... guess it's no longer 'we', huh?"

Name: Ayakishi Isori, at least officially. She prefers to be called 'Suzu'.

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Height & Weight: 1.60 meters. 55 kilograms.

Sexuality: Straight, for the most part anyways.

CCG Rating: S

CCG Title: Plague

Mask:

Kagune: Unlike most Ukaku's, Isori's kagune manifests as a spiral that spreads all across her right arm. While it is not harmful to her, it certainly is for her opponents.

Having it spread across her arm can make it a great melee weapon, and can also help her aim better when using it at a distance. The special characteristic of this kagune, however, is how Isori can release RC cells into the atmosphere and fill a single place with them.

As it should be expected, these floating RC cells can be extremely deadly. Her kagune is one of the few that can act as sensors, and the RC Cells immedietly crystallize once someone enters their effective range. As the RC cells adhere to someone's body, they slowly rob the person of their mobility, to the point where they eventually are just a sitting duck, waiting to be consumed by the Ghoul.

Of course, if one were to inhale these RC cells, and if they are human, they would most certainly die. Another Ghoul would have trouble breathing, have fits of coughing and perhaps be incapacitated for a while due to their being unable to breath. All of these effects also apply to Isori herself, though her resistance is better than any other's.

As most would expect, this is not the full extent of her Kagune, but it is the best she can pull out without losing control of herself, and her appetite. Whenever she does lose control of herself, another wing like kagune sprouts from her other shoulder blade. Having both kagune out tires her out immensely, however, and her urge to feed after using these becomes almost unbearable.

RC Type: Ukaku

Special Quirk: One Eyed Ghoul

Originally a human, Suzu was subject to a expirement that would change her life forever.

She was abducted, sedated and then experimented on. She had always had a high RC cell factor, despite not being a ghoul, which made her perfect for an experiment. Without any real papers, or identity, to talk about, it would be easier to perform an experiment on an orphan like this. Nobody would complain.

The experiment was a success, and she was given the name Ayakishi Isori. From that day onwards, Isori became a One eyed Ghoul. She remains ignorant on what Ghoul was used to transplant their organs into herself, but she believes it was a fairly powerful one.

Personality: While cheerful and amicable, Isori also has no qualms whatsoever over what it means to be a Ghoul. She was raised by one, so she doesn't really see anything bad about feeding off humans, oddly enough.

This kind of open-mindness helped her a lot during her early days as a One Eyed Ghoul.

She wasn't as afraid as some other people to eat a human, though she does have some qualms about killing humans, as long as she thinks they've done nothing wrong.

Isori can also be quite airheaded and some times dreamy, completely unfitting for someone like her, if you ask most. She likes video games but is not completely addicted to them like some, ehem, others.

She likes to think of herself as motherly and more often than not the peacemaker AND the one to bring in common sense to a conversation or other when things start getting too gory. Basically, a ghoul straight man, well, woman.

Backstory: She doesn't remember much from when she was a kid.

She was left in the streets, with nothing but a necklace that read 'Suzu' in romaji. She made friends with some other kids and an old man took them in. That's as far as she remembers her first childhood days.

Afterwards, and when she was taken to the old man's house, her memories become a little more vivid.

She was a human among ghouls, that much was certain. However, not being raised by human parents made her lack the common fear they shared for the cannibals.

The old man and the others didn't make much of an effort to hide the fact that they ate human meat either, at least not in the house. The old man did tell her that killing was bad, though, so she didn't grow to be completely amoral.

She went to school like everybody else. She was planning on becoming an enforcer of Ghoul rights. As she grew, she obviously saw that most Ghouls were killed without a real explenation, other than eating people. But they couldn't help it. That was who they were. Who they would always be.

Suzu found it sad. To be killed just because of who you are. She thought it was about time for someone to take a stand and stop the Doves from senselessly killing Ghouls. Yes, there were some that were completely feral and killed for sport, but there were also those that weren't.

Stereotyping them like such was wrong, so Suzu thought.

It wasn't long before the old man himself was killed by the doves he tried to protect the children from.

Despite not wanting to see those she saw as brothers and sisters go, finally, she had no option but to let them go. And go herself as well.

While she tried to relocate from ward 5 to ward 10 to lead a more human-like life, she didn't know that she was already in the sights of someone. Someone that she didn't want to attract the attention of.

While she continued to attend high school like any other girl her age, making friends and perhaps even some enemies, one or two boyfriends here and there, she would constantly feel... observed.

A set of eyes was always stuck to her back, and it wasn't as if it were an stalker. It was way more terrifying than that. It's sole presence sent a chill down Suzu's spine. Each week, each day, each hour, it became more intense. Frankly, Suzu was frightened. Though she constantly asked her current friends and even tried to get a hold on those she called her siblings long ago.

It was hard to get in touch with them, though. She thought that perhaps having Ghouls help her would shoo whoever was stalking her away.

Sadly for her, that wouldn't have been the case even if she had gotten ahold of them, for they were planning to do something with her that by far surpassed any kind of fear a Ghoul could strike in any one person.

She went to sleep one night. What followed are like her memories of when she was a child, abandoned and with nowhere else to go. Blurry, mysterious, terrifying.

She could hear the sound of her own muffled screams, she could see a scalped being pulled up, some strings of flesh still hanging from it, she could feel her very innards being pulled from out of her stomach and how she could only watch in horror.

The next time she woke up, she was looking at an unfamiliar rooftop. She turned to her side and saw one of her high school friends beside her, tears in her eyes and she threw herself at Isori. Wait... did she know this woman? At all?

A man came in to her room after that. Tall, attractive. Looked like a model. He told her that he was her boyfriend. Again, it didn't seem to ring any bells.

After that, the doctor came in. He explained the situation to her. He told her that her memories might be a bit blurry, but he told her everything in order.

Her name was Ayashiki Isori. She lived with her parents in a normal house, lead a normal high schooler life, had a boyfriend and several friends in her high school, but a week before, she and her family had been attacked by a Ghoul. The Ghoul fed on both of her parents and was halfway through Isori's own body when the doves arrived and saved her.

Her condition, however, was extremely bad. She was missing several organs, organs they had to replace. The shock rendered her unconscious for a week, which was in and of itself quite surprising, since most doctors theorized she wouldn't wake up for months.

After that, she went through a period of rehab. The staff was astonished at the pace in which she was recovering. A pair of weeks later, she was discharged from the hospital.

When she arrived to her 'home', however, she felt it was all too foreign to her. Nothing seemed to be in place. The doctor had warned her, however, that a side effect of the trauma she suffered would be memory loss. She might not remember people or places that were dear to her, in an effort to block away the attack by the Ghoul that night.

Isori didn't think much of it, truthfully. Still, the notice of her dead parents... hadn't affected her at all. Most would be devastated, but she felt nothing. She felt even less for the places that were, supposedly, 'dear' to her.

In any case, she decided to fix herself something to eat. When she tried the salad and pasta she had prepared for herself, however... it was horrible. Foul tasting. It was so repulsive that she couldn't help but vomit it back out.

What had happened? For as long as she knew, she was able to eat things like these. Even in the hospital, they gave her meat and she could eat it without a problem. Then why couldn't she eat this?

She tried something else. Meat, like the one they gave her in the hospital. The same.

Perhaps bread? No, that also came right back out. Potato chips? Down the toilet a few seconds after eating them. Ice cream? She wouldn't even dare go near the thing at this point.

What had happened? The doctor hadn't mentioned a side effect like this. No... it was probably more sinister.

Vomitting things that would otherwise be eaten easily... where had she heard, no, seen, that before? It was... it was....

It finally clicked inside her mind. The memories that had seemingly disappeared resurfaced after experiencing something her siblings did that same day they were picked up. Vomit the perfectly delicious meat they had been offered.

She was... a ghoul? But how? She was a human until just recently.... thoughts like devolved into heavy migraines, and each time a migrane hit her, a single thought stuck in her head.

Hungry. Kill. Eat.

Was that how they felt when they got hungry? This... insatiable hunger for violence? She turned to see herself in the mirror, and saw herself with a twisted smile, and a kakugan in her right eye.

She jumped back and looked at her reflection again. An scared human girl with two perfectly normal blue eyes.

Perhaps she should go feed like the others did? Find someone who had committed suicide recently. They wouldn't mind becoming food, right? Perhaps they would even be happy that their life was worth something in the ened.

So, she set out. She looked up and down for anyone that might have killed themselves. It was the only way she could feed. The only way she could make sure if she was actually a ghoul now.

Of course, a high school girl couldn't possibly know where to look when searching for corpses. She eventually wandered into a dangerous alley. Not because it was filled with Ghouls, but because it was filled with humans.

Like before, she soon felt how a set of eyes planted themselves on her back. This time she was not afraid, however. These eyes did not hold the same pressure those other eyes did. This man was nothing compared to that feeling from before.

Still, she couldn't possibly kill another human, right? Even if he was threatening her....

Eventually, and when there were no more people around, the man jumped on top of her in a dark alley. His intentions were clear.

"Let me go!" Isori begged the man.

"Or what, little girl?! Ya gonna hurt me?!"

Isori didn't struggle much. She knew that the strength of a Ghoul by far surpassed that of a human. She could easily break the man's arm if she resisted against this attempt of rape.

However, and as the man started undressing her, he kept a single hand on Isori's mouth, trying to muffle any screams. Though the girl did not scream, she did try very hard for not to do something else.

Don't bite his hand. Bite it, you know you want it. Don't do it. Do it.

It is a human being, you can't possibly eat him.

But look at the piece of shit he actually is. Nobody will miss him.

Bite him. Bite him.

EAT HIM.

She opened her mouth and then closed it. Simple way to eat, honestly.

The man could only stare at his now missing fingers. It took a while for his fear to settle in, and for him to realize that he had done the worst mistake in his life.

Isori stood back up, before locking her lips with the man's. After that, she pulled back, having tore apart his lower lip.

"You wanted something like this, didn't you?" She laughed. She felt her sanity leaving her, and she to hold on to it.

Perhaps... let go this one time would help her remain sane in the future.

Only the bones of the man were left that day.

Isori realized something then. If she had to feed, well, she could only feed off the scum of society. Thieves, rapists, murderers, perhaps the occasional dove here and there. Anyone that didn't feel like living in a perfectly organized society was electable for her to feed on.

So she started hunting. She had a hang for it, having watched the others do it, though she did have to train on how to use her kagune better.

When doves finally found her, and some of them died thanks to her peculiar skill with her kagune, she was nicknamed Plague. The fact that she lost control while fighting them also raised some notioriety for her, which she would like to be rid off.

In an effort to shake them off her tail, she retreated back to ward 5, where it had all started. There, she found the others. How would they take it that she was now a Ghoul like them? Well, only time would tell.

Other: Still trying to major in politic sciences to be able to help ghouls. Being one herself now, though, would probably be bad for her in the future if she does follow with it.

She wishes she could still eat instant ramen, a favorite of hers before her Ghoulification.

Will add theme tomorrow cause I'm fucking tired.

"So I shouldn't kick your ass because we're friends? What's next? The CCG dies by our united friendship powers and we all celebrate under a Talking Tree? Try harder, buddy."

Name:
Asoka

Age:
19

Gender:
Female
[Identifies as whatever to win arguments]

Height & Weight:
155 cm - 47 kg

Sexuality:
Bisexual

CCG Rating:
S~
Her passive behavior makes her rate difficult to assert as she's rarely been engaged with CCG officers. It is but an estimation.

CCG Title:
-Mercury
-The Troll

Mask:
Usual Mask

When screwing around/mocking foes or the CCG

Kagune:
A very bizarre Kagune to say the least and rarely seen due to its nature Asoka prefers to conceal unless necessary. Revealing itself as three tentacle-like silver Kagune, the same shape as Rize's though broader (think the tails of a tailed Beast in Naruto). They're silver in color, hence the name Mercury, but the biggest characteristic would be the viscus attributes it has. It almost seems to be liquid and fluids appear to drip out constantly from it, only to have the droplets vanish ones hitting the ground in minuscule clouds of steam.

The unique thing about this Kagune is that the Rc cells seem to have a deficiency in their hardening mechanic as they are stuck at being too spread out from each other. Consequently, it almost seems to be a liquid Kagune. It holds little to not defensive and offensive capabilities, barely capable of grazing the skin of a Ghoul let alone defend from their attacks. Other Kagune cut through this one like butter, giving Asoka zero defensive value like offensive. The catch however is simple, each Kagune can divide into four smaller tentacles and being viscus as ever it is also swift and insanely flexible. The liquid factor comes in here, as it is capable of molding itself to infiltrate minuscule pores in both organic and inorganic things.

In other words, her Kagune can essentially infiltrate any form of organic matter, especially Rc cell rich ones, as well as inert objects with crevices. She can thus easily sneak in her Kagune through pores in concrete for instance and catch her assailants off guard. When infiltrating something, she can make such things an extension of herself, as such her weak Kagune can become a giant fist of concrete, but the worst would be when she'd infiltrate other Kagune or the bodies of enemies. She can cause the affected members to pop and have her liquidated Kagune spread to swiftly posses and/or kill them.

She can also sever her Kagune a la Nutcracker and either have the pieces quickly retreat to her or have them be stationary. After a few seconds, they will start to evaporate and cover the air with a noxious gas. Although not deadly, they strongly disorient vision and hearing while leaving a terrible headache. It smells like really bad bleach that's been washing a freezer filled with rotten food. She can also be affected by this, hence her gas mask.

RC Type:
Bikaku

Special Quirk:
Having had a rather difficult Kagune to use when younger, Asoka was forced to compensate by focusing her efforts, with the help of the old man, into martial arts and general self defense. Unlike most of her 'brothers and sisters' from the mansion, she relied more on her flexible body and mastery of different martial arts. She isn't a God at it of course, and with her recent practices she hasn't honed her abilities too much, but her rating can go on par with Kakujas because of this.

Leading more than a few gangs, Asoka has made herself a reputation and needed an icon to make her recognizable. Enter The Umbrella, a tool made similarly to Yamori's with Kagune-like efficiency. Although most of it is thin and has little defensive value, it does serve as a Bulgarian Umbrella as it can fire up to three small projectiles with tranquilizers. It also holds a concealed cane-sword and a blade that can protrude from the top. Among Ghouls she holds the title of "Umbrella Loli".

She knows a lot about a Ghoul's anatomy despite hating their flesh more than anything else. She didn't have to kill too many to know, as once in a while a little moron would get a little too cocky and required Asoka to tie up loose ends. Her tools provided the means to show such morons the righteous way. She fully understands that the Kakuhou is the most essential part of a Ghoul and often targets that part when possessing a body. She is capable of clogging it for a limited time with her Kagune, or otherwise destroy it.

Personality:
A word that would best describe Asoka would be opportunistic. Like many ghouls, her morality is severely warped, though she doesn't orient it toward sadism and such. Heavily pragmatic with a large amount of sarcasm salt to go full-on "No Bullshit" mode, she has a zero tolerance policy for irrational blather or anything that she cannot grasp. Consequently she also limits her need to expose herself to danger. Concepts such as Spirituality or Intangible bonds are rather annoying gimmicks that distract her very business-like demeanor as make her job a whole lot harder.

Although she conceals this behind her higher intellect she needed to survive in her early years, Asoka is a gargantuan control freak with a possible superiority complex that came afterward. Somewhat fitting to her Kagune's controlling traits, she has a really hard time with people saying No to her or disobeying. Heck even disagreeing with Asoka will make her irritated and quickly enter a fit of searing rage. Luckily, she isn't shy about lying and cheating to get what she wants, her lack of any convictions other than her own gain make it easy for her to change her position on things when times are dire. She's a survivor after all.

It isn't rare for her to add salt to the wound by mocking individuals showing clear submission or inferiority toward her position. She's clearly mocked the CCG more than once when they attempted to handle her current cartel, wearing rather silly masks to remind them of how much of a joke she saw them as.

While sadistic when needed and heavily cynical about anything, Asoka is rather vain and has refined tastes in everything, including sex. Promiscuous, as a ghoul she never really did abide to any moral code, as such never truly understood the meaning of a close bond after the old man expired. She does love everything that is cute and pink, all that girly stuff, for some reason. She also holds a sweet soft side for children, possibly motherly instinct or just seeing herself into them and her past struggles.

She hasn't gone into a "Tension Boogie Woogie" state yet. But if she does, it'll be very funny.

Backstory:
Likely abandoned, Asoka never really knew how she ended up alone in such a young age. The old man found her almost starved to death and evidently incapable of acting independently. Like many others, she was brought under his wing and was offered a kindness that her little mind had never even witnessed beforehand. Because she was so small, she recovered quickly from such experiences, chalking them up as just the equivalents of bad dreams. Though a problem quickly emerged and it was her large dependence on the old man. Asoka was clearly the baby of the group, always clinging on her provider's leg and when grown would always stay in proximity, be his right hand man.

This was truly disconcerting, especially when she was rather timid and rather upbeat despite her experiences. Evidently when came time to initiate her in battle, Asoka displayed poor results, especially with her unusual Kagune. Clearly with her behavior, dependence and lack of offensive power, the future looked bleak for Asoka. The old man considered the Kagune not worth the effort yet and oriented Asoka toward a different type of training, the one where she'd utilize to the maximum her superhuman skills to gain an advantage.

Luckily for her provider, she had a rather efficient brain when it came to learning and acquired martial arts capabilities quickly enough. Her ability was good, but her discipline was simply not there. She still remained overly reliant on others when applying her abilities outside of home. It came to no surprise that she was both heartbroken and left terrified in this cruel world once the man didn't come back. Her 'siblings' would eventually leave, one by one, and her time would come soon as well as she needed food.

The cold, hard truths of reality nearly killed her, of course, but it was never enough to permanently put her down. Slowly but surely, she lost any form of desire to depend on anyone, whether it is affection or help. She's practically forgotten about what the man had brought to her and decided to flip reality off as it did when she was left for dead when younger. As luck would have it, the same ghouls that made her life so hard weren't exactly the brightest, since education was hard to come by for them. While not eloquent at the time, it wasn't hard for her to make it clear that they'd gain X amount by doing X things, which in the end she'd bank on a lot.

She brought he goods to the simpler ghouls, and in return many more flocked to this "Umbrella" individual. While she didn't have her weapon at the time, she did carry around an umbrella everywhere as she really hates rain. Her megalomaniac tendencies grew at this point, leaving behind her lovable and shy persona just as her parents and the old man left her behind, the 12th Ward's "Kingpin" was running operations, though the extent of her influence is very questionable. Unlike many ghouls, she never really bothered to show her prowess to the CCG or rival ghouls. To her, she'd benefit more from simply sending minions to do everything for her. Plus the "Leading operating in the shadows" image made her all fuzzy inside when she thinks about it.

When someone say Kingpin, one says many gang members, and when there are many gang members, there are quite a few deviants around. She was quickly initiated to the hardships of a leader and the "necessary" actions to take on more volatile individuals. She was able to develop her Kagune through various "punishments" and torture sessions which she didn't particularly savor but did learn a lot about. Through racketeering and simple transition of goods, she made herself quite the amount of capital, and that didn't count for her talent involving numbers in which she did use to guide various investments to make herself quite the stash of cash. Unfortunately using this much money as a ghoul is rather impossible without the CCG sniffing her out. As such, her net worth gravitates to the double digits these days. The student life, aye?

On parallel to all her shady operations, she led a normal life in a normal apartment. She did go to highschool and behaved like her shy self when she was younger. She graduated in top ranks and is currently aiming for a Bachelor in Statistics. Due to her experience in manipulating money and all that smelly stuff, it came to no surprise she cheesed through most of this discipline. Asoka seemed to have countered all odds against her and hit the highest point a Ghoul living in the street could dream of, reaching a normal human life, but now the compulsive need to maybe remember her lost self pushed her to agree into returning to that place. A pointless action, but she didn't want to keep this feeling bottled up.

Roy is definitely NOT our Lord and Savior.

Note: The glasses are actually an accessory to look nerdier. She doesn't have any sight impairment.

"Learning from humans is not shameful, one can learn many things from observing nature."

Name:Hana Kurosawa, M.D.

Age: 24

Gender:Female

Height & Weight:166cm & Mind your own business.

Sexuality:Bisexual, with a dash of Zoophilic (if you consider humans as zoophilia, anyway)

CCG Rating: B~ (The CCG can't figure her out for their own good. Way too careful and erratic, with zero confirmed kills. Could potentially skyrocket to S, or SS even).

CCG Title: Honeybee

Mask:

Kagune: Her Ukaku Kagune actually resembles a pair of crystaline, insectoid wings, with jagged edges. Like most Ukaku, she can use these wings to shoot a shower of detached crystallized shards on targets. Compared to other types ghoul claws, it's very prone to break and chip away with use, and while she can wield it in close combat to cut targets with its razor sharp edges, it can't parry many blows in a quick succession.
However, Hana can actually partially manifest her kagune, in order to produce crystallized shards which can be wielded as easy to manufacture, easy to throw away scalpels. These kagune daggers can be easily concealed and produced and are versatile tools in addition to weapons that can cut ghoul flesh easily.

RC Type: Ukaku

Special Quirk: Eidetic Memory: Hana has the uncanny ability of being able to assimilate knowledge by just witnessing or reading it once, thus making her learning curve insanely fast regarding matters. Hana didn't just conquer the barrier of literacy among ghouls, she steamrolled through it once she had gained a solid base thanks to her mentor. She mostly uses this ability to further her scientific knowledge, by devouring books and data like some ghouls devour tender infants, with special focus on medicine, for the forensic perks of easy access to corpses people won't miss, and in order to help other ghouls to heal.

It is this precise trait why Hana is so hard to grasp for the CCG. She often is able to crosscheck her information and sniff out CCG investigators and presence far quicker than most ghouls and act low-key.

Personality: Hana is a firm believer of predatorial mimicry, and as such, she displays a sweet and coy attitude, always eager to please everyone around her. She also downplays her own skill and intelligence, and even calls herself in third person in a belitting manner. A coward in most direct confrontations, Hana would rather flee than fight, and humilliate herself rather than escalate the violence.

However, when the honey doesn't cut it, and people actually threaten or hinder her advances above an acceptable threshold, Hana proves to be quite the cunning bitch, taking a leaf out of the Art of War. She will respond to threats throughoutly and often in deceptive, ruthless ways. From kidnapping, to poisoning, and even goading the CCG to capture rival ghouls.

Hana believes in some sort of ecosystem balance between humans and ghouls, and as such she won't attack underdeveloped prey like children, and will sometimes tag and personally dispose of the rotten apples of the human basket. She also is a self-confessed lover of human literature and science, and she also indulges in quick, sporadic relationships with humans.

Backstory:

Most tragic stories about Ghoul orphans either involve faction wars or the CCG. In the case of Hana, it was just a freak car accident. There was no tension, no drama, no against. One day she was a lovely spry ghoul child, and the next day she had exited a car who was set aflame after dropping down a cliff, panicked, cold and relentlessly calling for help.

But no one came. Hana resigned herself to the fate. She learned quickly. there was no returning from that much damage and fire. They were dead. Life in itself was a fragile thing. That much, the child understood. Tumbling and wandering, she ended up congregating with a bunch of other kids. All orphans, and ghouls aswell. Safety in numbers. Upon being found by the old man, and after some time of hesitation, as she was at first untrusting of someone who would pick a bunch of lil' human chompers out of mere kindness, she was among the first to fall in line. She understood, that just like a parent cared for children, some ghouls cared for other ghouls at an species level, and she answered the old man's altruism with a healthy dose of her own, using her intellect to learn quickly and become a dependable older sister to others, in order to make the whole effort be more efficient.

However, to all things came an end, and when the old man suddenly disappeared, the group fell apart like a house of cards. Even though she advocated for sticking together, she eventually conceded in parting ways with the others. She quickly formulated a new route, a new life plan. She would use her memory and top notch academic skill to pursue a medical education (as the car accident still painfully reminded that even if ghouls were more durable than humans, their lives could also be extinguished easily).

But first, she needed a new sponsor... and while she was growing up quite nicely, she didn't think seducing a rich old man would be a viable possibility, because of the sheer low odds. However, an equally low odd happened before her eyes. A washed up backalley doctor, being assaulted by Yakuza.

Food, and sponsor in one neat package. Althought the medic had to be calmed at first, seeing as the teenager girl had just eaten a couple of yakuza in front of his eyes, he seemed to cave in to reason. He would teach her, a ghoul, medicine and higher education, in exchange for a little protection from both the mafia and fellow ghouls.

It worked for a time. Her double life did not take an excessive toll, she was getting good at this. She could even pretend to take a stroll into the 1st ward for bibliography without being caught. At worst, a wild goose chase where Investigators were always one step too behind, and laying down for a while.

But the doctor eventually died. Because sometimes, heart attacks kill people, not just ghouls. And Hana felt for the first time lonely and homesick. She then wondered what had happened with her colleagues...

Other: She currently has a backalley clinic in which she treats humans and ghouls alike. Those humans who aren't going to make it end up as food. She has acquaintances in the 1st ward, and sometimes takes a stroll right under the nose of the CCG there. She keeps a cadre of "bed friends" both human and ghoul.
