"I brought my service dog along with me. His name is Grimm, after Sirius Black ^{(as Sirius was often confused for the dark omen called Grim when in his Animagus form)} from the Harry Potter series. Grimm helps me with my depression, and he’s also my protector. I was able to get Grimm trained by a family friend of mine in the military, and he is well behaved. Grimm is a Wolfdog-Hybrid, about 4 ½ years old. I got him from a reserve when he was only a month and a half old. His mother and the rest of his littermates were brought in before they could even open their eyes. I work at the reserve, and have a little pull there. Sirius is a test case, in a sense. He behaves well, just like any other dog does.. here's a picture of him with my friend's future battle buddy, the Belgian Malinois named Remus ^{(which is an ongoing joke with Garet and I because Remus is a scrawny dog, which - so was the guy/werewolf, Remus Lupin, who he was named after)}, who's still a puppy in training.”

Here's an Inside Look at How I’ve Lived ::
”My life was pretty average besides the fact I was adopted. I never knew my real parents, and never will. They were both murdered when I was very young, I have no memories of them.. I got into Yale on scholorship. I moved out here for an opportunity to make something of myself. Seem to be doing a pretty decent job, honestly. As the years have passed, I've felt more comfortable out here and made some of my own friends other than Garet who happened to tag along with me to the same school. I met William in my second year of college, and we've been together ever since. I don't know how much longer we'll actually last, though..he's a real asshole to me," Margot pulls at her sleeves nervously, "and things just haven't been the same at home the last few months. Almost like he's hiding something from me..” Margot shakes her head and looks back up, "Sorry, you don't really need to know that." Regaining herself, she continues, "Life's really just been a smooth ride, for me. Yeah, hit a few rocks here and there.. but overall, I can't complain too bad. I don't necessarily love life, but I'm fairly content with it."

“I think all around, I’m a pretty decent person. I don’t really let the little things define who I am or was, and am quite proud of the person I’ve become, to be honest. Through the evils I’ve suffered throughout the years I’ve managed to keep a soft spirit and a kind heart. Most everyone I’ve met could agree that I’ve got quite a large one, when it comes to hearts. I’m one of those shy, soft-spoken types who doesn’t let her guard down for anything except her one, true best friend. That would be Garet, in my case. Due to some of the things that happened in my past, I often times experience deep depressive states and will recluse more than I already do. I have about a handful of good friends, and over the years that number has diminished but it’s whatever, ya’ know? Live and learn. I only trust those I know best, and hope to God that they trust me just the same because those who put their faith in me will never be let down. I’m a lover, not a-- HA! Here's an Inside Look at How I’ve Lived ::
Lydia is the youngest daughter of Mike and Juliette Miller. Her father is a doctor and Lydia has taken after him in terms of what she wants to do with her life. What most people don't know is that Lydia's mother is in a wheelchair after a bad car accident that killed Lydia's twin sister, Tayla, 5 years ago. Lydia doesn't like to talk about her family life. Her mother blames herself for Tayla's death and this causes some tension in the family home. Lydia is using this trip to spend some time away from her parents.
How Some People Might See Me ::
To describe Lydia in three words it would be quiet, kind and conscientious. Lydia often puts the needs of others before her own. She spends a lot of her time watching other people and as a result she is quite perceptive of other people's feelings. She is a private and polite girl but often socially uncomfortable. Lydia avoids confrontations, can be easily offended and tears come easily to Lydia. Lydia is a goody-good, often following the rules, responsible and making sure others are doing the same thing. Lydia is a planner, she likes to be organised and often finds it difficult to adapt to change.

Historical Background :: Being academically inclined I was always in the top grades of my classes, went to fairly good schools and kept my nose clean for the most part. I have a little brother that I tried to keep on the 'right path' and my parents are nice people. No dark secrets or anything like that. I'm a pretty normal girl. When I got accepted into all of my college choices they were thrilled and I accepted the best scholarship. I now study Sociology with a focus on tribal communities. I was stoked to be chosen for the Savanna trip as it falls into my field of study.

Some people might think it odd that a girl from Kentucky would end up studying what I do but honestly the community in Kentucky is only a sub set of the community of 'The South' and further more a sub set of the community of the 'U.S.A'. Really I'm just interested in people. What makes me so different from you? What makes us the same?

Description of Persona :: I'm not sure that there is anything particularly special about me. I'm smart but I'm not a genius... I'm a good student but that's just cause I work hard and enjoy learning. I'm pretty easy to get along with and for the most part avoid conflict where I can. I do have a pretty big fear of spiders but back in Kentucky that wasn't a big deal or anything.
Descriptive Appearance :: About 5'7", 145lbs, blonde, blue eyes. I like to swim a lot so I'm in pretty good shape, not particularly busty or anything but definitely female. I smile a lot and thanks to braces and Crest Whitening Tooth Paste it's a pretty great smile. I tend to freckle when out in the sun.

Here's an Inside Look at How I’ve Lived :: Lucas was brought up in a foster home, not knowing who his parents were. He moved from home to home when he was younger and then moved into the dorms at college. He lived in the dorms for all the time he was at college, not really making friends with anyone enough to move in with them. Lucas doesn't really talk about his childhood, but he recognises how it makes him not want to trust people. He's used to being on his own and being independent.
How Some People Might See Me ::Lucas is quiet, reflective but also can be idealistic. He can be a loner, solitary and a very private person. Because of this, he can feel uncomfortable around people and he can be possessive of his things. He likes watching people, tries to understand them. He is creative, designs his own tattoos and takes a lot of photos. He would never be seen without his camera. Lucas likes the rain, taking pictures of plants covered in raindrops is one of his fortes, and he enjoys going for walks in the rain. He puts his creativity into writing or photography. He is not very punctual, not always prepared and prone to quitting things if they seem hard.
Standing Before a Mirror, I See :: Lucas is 6ft 2, quite well built, brown hair that he keeps quite short. He doesn't really mind what he looks like, but he is interested in tattoos.
