• Name: Misawa Kaede

• Personality: In most things, Kaede is reserved, composed, and self-sacrificing if the need calls for it. She's the model worker and considers it her duty to help the fight even if injured. When it comes to girls or particularly girl boys, though... even though she does her best to keep it a secret, she doesn't exactly do a very good job at hiding her desire to be more than friends.
• Abilities: Kaede possesses the cheerfully named 'Relic Creation Experiment #2', which for obvious reasons she never refers to by its proper name, instead going for Nijiyumi, which is the incredibly imaginative... 'Rainbowbow'. This is because, transformed, the completely-normal watch does indeed include a rainbow that happens to be in the shape of a traditional bow. Armour-wise, Kaede's clearly got a samurai theme going on, though there's a lot more Cherenkov-radiation lighting on the overlaps, and apparently with a leotard instead of a breastplate.
  As for the bow? It shoots arrows... made of lightning, which can be charged up to be larger. She's currently lacking much in the way of melee, however, as her self-defence skills were intended for human opposition and not giant monsters.
• Skills: Even before being a magical girl, she practised Kyuudou, which probably explains why her weapon is a bow in the first place. She also knows aikido, which is... less than useful in her actual job. She's also quite knowledgeable about the Voids... not that this means much at the moment.
• Background: Daughter of one of SAGA's scientists, it is perhaps unsurprising that Kaede is therefore one of the first magical girls of the modern area, putting her hobbies to good use in helping to fight the Voids. She's glad to be back in Japan after the extended research trip, not having been here since she was a child. Because of her age, she's actually employed by SAGA.

• Name: Yukimaru Yukiko
• Age: 15
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Relic Active. She's got a light skintone with black hair and brown eyes. Her bodysuit is black and silver, and the armor pieces are white.
• Role: Unaware Magical Girl
• Personality: Yukiko is a fairly exuberant, bright girl who wants to understand and befriend others, no matter what the situation may be. This also tends to throw herself into things in a very direct manner without really considering what she's doing. After all, when someone's in need, that's all she needs to know, right? She can be a bit awkward, and she's not always the one with the most common sense in the room. In addition, she's pretty bad at schoolwork and has trouble in class a lot. Yukiko usually ends up asking her friends for help a lot. She's not stupid, though. She just has trouble applying herself in schoolwork. Yukiko can be pretty intensely determined when she puts her mind to it and when she really gets going she's very unlikely to back down no matter what. She's pretty easily flustered, though, which is a bit unfortunate with the skintight undersuit her activated relic gives her. Still, a little embarrassment is hardly going to stop her.
• Abilities: With her Relic, a tiny fragment of a pair of ancient gauntlets, active, Yukiko gets a bodysuit with various pieces of armor over it, including a pair of gauntlets and heavily-armored boots. She gains a high resistance to damage and a large strength boost in this state. The only attacks it's capable of are punching and kicking, but these can be massively enhanced by collapsing impact-enhancers, and, eventually, rocket boosters powerful enough to carry Yukiko off the ground.
• Skills: Yukiko doesn't exactly have the most notable skills. Her friends joke that her most powerful ability is... eating.
• Background: Yukiko is the daughter of Yukimaru Soji, a now-deceased archaeologist who had traveled the world uncovering various ancient artifacts. He once brought home a tiny fragment that was, while interesting to look at, not deemed valuable for historical study. As a result, he made it into a necklace and gave it to his daughter. This is the only item that she has to remember her father by, as he died during a plane crash a few months later. Since then, Yukiko has tried to act in a way that would make her father proud.

• Name: Ueda Natsuki
• Age: 16

• Role: Unaware Magical Girl
• Personality: Natsuki is a very passionate and adventurous girl. She will go to great lengths to achieve her goals up to the point where she can be downright reckless. Although Natsuki has her wild and boisterous side, she does take most things seriously. She is quite studious, spending a large part of her time reading up on a variety of topics. She always strives to get the highest grades, as she aspires to become a doctor. Natsuki has high self-esteem and can be quite stubborn at times, making her sometimes come off as spoiled. Despite this appearance she really does care for other people, especially those close to her; she will do anything to help them and ensure their happiness.
• Abilities: The object which gives Natsuki her supernatural abilities is a hair pin which has been passed down her family for several generations. The hair pin is able to replicate itself, creating multiple, sharp versions of the original which can be used as a dagger as well as throwing knives (think kunai). Natsuki can also use spells on them which make the pins either poisonous or healing (think acupuncture). She needs to be quite careful about where to aim the pins: some spots in the body are obviously more vital than others, and some points can be targeted to block (magic) attacks.
  If Natsuki wants to transform into her magical girl form, she needs to recite a little chant which has been encrypted inside the box in which the hairpin came. In her transformed state, she wears her hair in a loose knot, held together by the hair pin. Her outfit has characteristics from traditional Japanese clothing mixed with more modern features (think Wa Lolita).
• Skills: Natsuki excels in mathematics and also has a green thumb. She is part of the tracking team of her high school but is not exceptionally good.
• Background: Natsuki was born first child in a family consisting of father, mother, and three daughters. She was raised in a household in a somewhat more rural region, just outside of the big city. Her parents are often away from home as they both work to sustain the family, both earning a wage which is slightly above average. Natsuki’s childhood was fairly stable, although she did get in trouble from time to time for going out on small "expeditions", as she liked to refer to them. She has a group of friends consisting of both girls and boys, some of which she is more to close to than others. She has shown romantic interest in both genders, but leans more towards boys.

Cia Villosa

Name: Cia Villosa

In normal form she is blond and has no wings.

Role: Unaware Magical Girl

Personality: Cia is a very shy girl. She loves art though and will go on about it for hours. Despite her age many people have said that she has a wild imagination much like that of a five year old. Many people are in awe of that ability of hers and her art is well sought after even. Many have called her a prodigy artist. Cia is however a poor judge of character, unless she sees someone committing an act of evil she believes them to be good.

Abilities: Cia is in ownership of one of Michelangelo’s Paintbrushes. One that was used to paint the Sistine Chapel ceiling. This paint brush gives her the ability to summon angels by painting their shape, however the more detailed the painting the more powerful the construct becomes. Making it more detailed however takes far longer. However with the paint brush Cia can create other useful constructs, one of these is wings that allow her to fly.
The Angels are mostly used as soldiers by Cia, often taking on tasks of protecting Cia or attacking the enemy. The angels attack with weapons included in the paintings, their ability of fighting with these weapons is a bit above average of a common experienced solider that has learned to use a blade. They do however often leave openings that a skilled fighter could take advantage of if they see these openings in time. They have enough strength to pick up and fly away with an average 170 sized man. However anything bigger and it requires two of them. Cia can only summon a maximum of five of them. They all disappear when she untransforms.

Skills: Cia is a very talented artist. Along with being a talented artist Cia is also a great cook, and has a photographic memory.

Background: Cia was born into a family that had moved from Italy to Japan. In general her family is rather average and would be seen as middle class. Her family has recently started to run an art gallery and selling of paintings done by their own daughter to make money. Many have said that her parents are taking advantage of her talents but Cia believes them to be saving up the money for her to go to an art college instead.

• Age: 32
• Gender: Female

• Role: SAGA Field Agent/Support
• Personality: Erica is cool with a hint of kindness, and always does her best to be calm and in control even while having a bit of a fun loving side of her that comes out more when she's off the clock, or driving fast cars or something like that. Most of the time she focuses on work, but knows how to take it easy when she has the chance. She tends to approach problems from an intellectual angle, but likes to think that she is nonetheless someone that people can get along with easily.
• Abilities: N/A
• Skills: Erica has been trained in using a multitude of weapons, to be adaptable and account for any situation that might arise. She has also been taught several languages, has been trained in surveillance, observation, tracking, and bartering. Essentially, she is fairly specialized for her job, and is good at it.
• Background: Born in Germany to a family of several siblings, Erica Schneider was fairly set in what she wanted to do after entering secondary education. She focused on two areas, and while dabbling in the sciences she also joined the BND, or the Federal Intelligence Service, where she worked fairly happily. When the bursts began to happen and SAGA was formed she put what influence she had to work, and soon managed to attain a position within the Agency, relocating to Tokyo and working on the ground floor of one of the most important projects in known history.
