-Ariel is the girls most common nickname, though is actually what she goes by. It's pronounced R-E-L.
-Sarah, a shortened version of her first name. She hates it, though has no idea why.
-Kitten/Kitty: She strangely likes this one, as it was derived one day by her friends when she hissed at them and since then, they have pointed out how similar she is or isn't to a cat. [/indent]

In Depth Appearance:
"I'll stop wearing black when they come out with a darker color."
Ariels style is described as Grunge or borderline Emo. The young woman dresses selectively in all black the majority of the time, though will occasionally wear white or other dark colors. Skinny jeans are her favorite things for bottoms, though she can be found wearing shorts that are considered perhaps a little too short. Her hair is a dark brown, sometimes confused for black, and can be seen worn down or in a braid, perhaps in a ponytail when doing strenuous activities. Her bangs are what some may call choppy, and have no particular form, constantly swept to the left side of her face.

Makeup is something that Ariel is not a stranger to. Of course she isn’t going to spend four hours on the task in the morning, but eyeliner is practically one of the girls best friends, along with her mascara.

On the outside looking in, Ariel is one of the most happy, socially awkward people that you could ever meet. Always saying something goofy, and having a way with words, the girl is the type to almost always have a smile on her face and is not quick to get angered. Having slight social anxiety is perhaps the reason for her social awkwardness, which causes her to say really random things. Ariel is the type of girl that may come off as a bitch, but she's the blunt kind of girl that when she says something mean, it's funny. Some may say that the girl is violent, with her outbursts of random, crazy, violent sayings but she probably won't choke you with a marshmellow. However, that's the coverup that she puts on.

The truth is, Serafina suffers from depression. The girl tends to keep her emotions bottled inside and simply do her best to release them through her blogs,videos,and music. She simply don't take any medication for it because she is to ashamed to talk about it, causing her to put on an act. Being socially awkward, it is hard for Ariel to express herself unless she is behind a screen, and, in fact, is shy when it comes to meeting new people. Of course, you may think how is she brave with all of this going on inside of her, but she's brave in a different way than you think. Ariel is brave enough to face the day starting out with a positive attitude no matter how bad she knows it's going to be.

The young woman hates drama, gossip, and any other thing of the sort. She can typically be seen hanging out with the guys at school, because she considers females to much drama. Of course, if you ask her how she is doing, you will receive a great and a goof thumbs up. Not being able to express herself truthfully angers her to no end, though, just like her true feelings, she doesn't let it show. In short, the girl is a half read book. To know her, you must first know the whole story.

Biography:
"Momma please forgive me, for Daddy says it's all my fault."

Serafina Ariel Gray was born in this small town to the parents known as Marianna and Trillian Gray. Marriana was a surgeon and Trillian was, and is, a respectable member of the community, and one of the best lawyers around. However, just like with Ariel, that is not the true story about the man. Marianna thought that the man was great, they married just two years before their daughter was born, and the two were madly in love at the time. Trillian was a loving father up until the time that Ariel was five, and then something inside the man just... changed. When Ariel came home from school on the bus, she assumed that her father was just upset shouting about a case, just as he usually did at times. What she walked in on was horrible. Her mother was in the floor, her arms shielding her face as her father hit her over and over. There was various holes in the walls, and many of the families pictures had fallen to the floor, the glass broken. Not understanding what was going on, tears started to wet the little girls face. "Mommy," she said, her voice scared and shaking. Both of her parents turned to look at her, her mother getting up with a tear soaked face as well, rushing to her and wrapping her in a hug.

These episodes went on until Ariel was the age of nine. Fed up with her father's ways, the little girl did her best to get in between her parents. The man instead unleashed his anger on her, and this was the first time that Ariel felt her fathers wrath. Her mother did her best to stop him as well, and in the end, he did, but not before bruises had formed on Ariels skin. This happened on and off until the age of 12 -perhaps every three months or so-, when Marianna was killed in a car crash. It was this night that the girl seen that side of her father once more, multiplied.

It was at the age of thirteen that she tried to break away, and find a release for what she was feeling inside. Turning to her music more and more, Ariel also created a blog and a youtube channel with her dancing and singing. She started to draw and climb trees, staying outside of that dreaded house as long as she could. She took up baby sitting jobs and began to save her own money to do things. It was at the age of fourteen that she realized she was truly depressed. Her school life was horrible and filled with bullies, and most of all, she couldn't understand her father. How could he function and be so normal outside of the home, but yet a monster within?

It was at the age of fifteen when Ariel officially stood up for herself. When her father hit her that night, she simply pulled a knife on him. "So help me, if you lay one more hand on me I will make sure you never do it again. You may be my father, but you haven't earned the right to do this to me." Just as usual, tears were running down her face. Trillians facial expression changed from anger, to fear, to sorrow. "I'm sorry," he mumbled. Disgusted with what she seen before her she slammed the knife down on the counter and ran to her room. This was the last time that her father beat her.

Jarvis keeps up with his appearance; his hair is always styled and his outfits are always picked out with intent. He prefers wearing t-shirts, be it graphic tees or colored v-necks, he is usually seen in a nicely fitted t-shirt; he's a jeans guy, sometimes skinny jeans, other times boot legged jeans, just depending on the t-shirt he chose that day; he doesn't bother with anything special on his feet, usually a pair of tennis shoes that might be a bold color or something toned down, again just depending; he stands at 5'9, with usually a lighter skin tone and an average build; he always has a watch on his right wrist and he does wear a necklace, a plain black string with a round, dark stone at the end, however he always keeps the necklace tucked into his shirts, and he very rarely takes it off. Another thing he rarely takes off is a gift Jarek had given him on his 12th birthday; it was a simple bracelet, a deep blue, that had the letters 'WWCAS' on its surface in bold, white letters, with the Captain America shield tacked on the end of the letters. Since the letters stand for 'What would Captain America say?', a common saying for Jarek and Jarvis' dad to say to Jarvis to make him feel guilty. It doesn't make him feel as guilty now but... he's lying to himself when he says that.

He enjoys meeting new people; he's very sophisticated and smart; he attempts to not let his negative emotions get to him, but of course, it happens; he tries to not snap at people, though, and tries to keep a level and cool head in an argument. Biography:

Jarvis grew up in an unhappy household for some time. His parents argued a lot when he was a young child and when he was seven, it was found out his mother was having an affair. They divorced and to young Jarvis' confusion, his mother didn't even want custody of him, and shoved him onto his father. Who didn't mind one bit; he raised Jarvis the best he could, introducing him to things he loved today, such as geeky things and science and Marvel, everything he loves and enjoys today, and helped form the person he is today. His father was an amazing single dad as he was growing up. He never saw his mother again and to this day, he doesn't understand how she just left him so easily. While his father tried his best, they did struggle with money as Jarvis was growing up. He didn't grow up on home-cooked meals, he rarely went out to eat; he grew up on sandwiches and TV dinners and frozen pizza. It shows he grew up on an unhealthy diet because he still eats the same, his naturally fast metabolism keeping him slim. Growing up poor was hard, the neighborhood they lived in was sketchy and he could never go outside, he didn't have the nicest clothes and got teased/bullied for it in school and he would try his hardest to make Jarek not stand up for him, because he didn't want his childhood best friend fighting 'cause of him. When he was old enough to cook for himself, his father began working extra shifts at the local warehouse, and it was rare for he and Jarvis to see each other. His father knew it hurt Jarvis to rarely see him so he gave him the necklace that Jarvis wears all the time, it had been his own and his father wanted Jarvis to feel like a part of himself was with him always. His father worked hard for the money that did come into the household and the only reason Jarvis got an allowance was for food; yet, he sometimes went without a couple meals, so he could buy comics or something of the like for himself but to be honest, most of his comic book collection was there thanks to Jarek.

He knows the feeling of going hungry, because sometimes, his father didn't get in enough hours and all the money went to bills and the loans his father had taken out and owed back. And he was a little shit and wouldn't always accept Jarek's help. It was a rough childhood; at first, he saw a lot of his father, but then when he was old enough to take care of himself, he rarely saw him, and when he did, his father was either sleeping or dead on his feet. Jarvis got a job as soon as he could, at the local coffee shop, and while he didn't make much money, since he couldn't get in extra hours between balancing the job and school, it did help a little. Sometimes, he would skip school to work, any way to try and help his father. He was smart and so his grades didn't suffer too badly, because while he wanted to help his father, he also wanted to go to college and try to get a secure job that paid well. He went on through life, never feeling quite like he belonged anywhere (until he was with Jarek, but he wouldn't say that out loud).

Jarvis doesn't know Ariel that well. Even though he has a good friendship with Lizzy, he hasn't had a lot of chances to get to know Ariel. Despite that, he thinks she seems nice, and is friendly towards her. Though, Jarvis is friendly towards everybody, so there isn't very telling of his actual feelings.

Denial is a sweet thing. Jarvis adores Jarek. To the point it seems like he's holding a torch for the guy but he isn't, really! He isn't! Jarvis has known Jarek for most of his life and it shows in how tight and loyal they are. Jarvis knows Jarek as well as he knows himself, maybe better, and it shows in the way he treats Jarek whenever there's a problem occurring. Somehow, despite being complete opposites, these two slotted together at a young age and have been glued to the hip ever since.

Jarvis doesn't know Alex that well. He knows of Alex, has heard about him through Lizzy again. Jarvis hears a lot from Lizzy. But, besides that, he hasn't had any deep conversations with Alex. A few passing hey's or brief conversations about nothing of import has been exchanged but besides that, Jarvis hasn't spoken much to him. One day, he will get a conversation with him at least about Captain America, damnit.

Jarvis met Lizzy in a shared music class and they bonded over their similar music tastes. After that, they became good friends. Not the best of friends, but they've hung out a fair amount of times. Mainly exchanging new songs and listening to music. That's their thing - just sitting there and enjoying the music. Jarvis really likes Lizzy and enjoys her company quite a bit.

Jarvis doesn't know Cass at all. He had heard rumors about her around school but he had, actually, never exchanged words with her. Jarvis is the type of person who tries to find the good in everyone, so he hasn't completely written her off his list, and is curious about her. He isn't just going to dismiss her yet he also doesn't enjoy her attitude.

Jarvis adores Ada; she and him click on a level almost as much as he and Jarek do. However, not nearly as much, but Jarvis is still comfortable enough around her to let more of his negative thoughts slip to her when they become present, like he does with Jarek. He has confided in Ada before, told her his deepest secret, and it brought them closer, made them connect more, and he really enjoys being around her.

Again, Jarvis heard about Philip through Lizzy. Kid is busy, he can't know everyone. Besides that, Jarvis feels like he could get along with Philip, if Philip gives him the chance to talk to him.

Being that Jarvis could be called a feminist, he's really bothered by Jamie's way of life. It makes him cringe. However, he isn't going to speak against Jamie, because he knew that wasn't going to make him change his ways, so why even start a possible fight? Though, Jarvis won't actively seek Jamie out to talk to him, that's for sure.

To most Alex appears cold and standoffish, but those who know him well realize he is just a quiet guy. He can seem rude but that is only because he is very direct and rarely lets bias change how he deals with things unless he REALLY dislikes someone. He is fiercely loyal and if someone hurts or wrongs someone he cares about he will defend them, but he rarely defends himself. He loves bringing characters to life and enjoys making people happy despite not seeming like it.

Likes:

• Acting - Every since Alex was 8 he has enjoyed acting. He loves to make characters come to life.
• Making people smile - He loves feeling the joy of having made another smile. If it is a genuinely happy smile he feels he accomplished something.
• Taking care of the less fortunate - He really enjoys going to orphanages, retirement homes, and Children's Hospitals. He volunteers his time whenever he can to make them happy.

• Racists - Despite being white Alex can't help but disliking racist people. In his mind there should be no reason to categorize someone by their skin tone. He won't let someone get away with making a racist remark while he is around.
• Anyone who disrespects Soldiers, Police Officers, or Firefighters - They risk their lives for the normal free person. He can't stand when someone says anything negative about them.
• Hurting others - He doesn't like it when he inadvertently hurts someone or upsets them.

Fears:

• Large crowds - Too many people make Alex extremely uncomfortable. Even to the point of possibly having an anxiety attack. The only time it doesn't affect him is when he is acting or playing a group game with people.
• Needles - Pretty much anything that can be stuck into the body makes Alex freak out or cringe.
• Being forgotten - He really believes people will forget about him.

Biography: Alex is the second oldest of his siblings. When he was younger he connected fairly well with others, but eventually someone really close to him betrayed him. Also almost all of the friend groups he has ever been in tend to have a large falling out leaving him to have to decide which side he would join. He never could choose so he always got left behind. He has never had a real relationship either. The only occurrence was in fifth grade he rode on the bus home and sat beside a girl. The whole year they got really close even to the point of having a secret 'boyfriend/girlfriend relationship'. Alex thought it was real but over the summer they lost contact and when they met up the next school year she acted like she had never known him.

Over the next couple of years he was constantly bullied yet never stood up for himself. Over this time period he closed himself off to many things primarily when it comes to how he feels. He rarely opens up to anyone now. It takes a long time and much kindness. Elizabeth's younger age in comparison to many of her friends is very obvious in regards to her height. Standing at a measly 5'0 with little hope in growing another inch let alone to average height makes her the perfect arm rest for most, much to the teen's annoyance. She possesses quite a slim build. Elizabeth's hair is, naturally, a dull blonde/brown colour, however, she keeps on top of dying it and favours a bold orange as her hair colour. Her hair reaches just below her shoulders in a choppy, layered fashion and is dead straight, Courtney doesn't have much interest in trying to curl it. Her rounded almond-shaped eyes are a deep hazel though, under different lighting, can seem lighter or, sometimes almost brown. Her skin is naturally quite light and sports very few freckles. Her lips are, too, quite pale in colour, occasionally try to use a deeper colour lipstick but just can't be bother half the time.

Sixteen and the voice of reason and peacekeeper among most of her friends despite being the youngest. Elizabeth is wise beyond her years and very mature and level-headed. She is often offering advice to her friends in need. She's a very kind and sweet young girl but she's not afraid to raise her voice if she doesn't agree with something. She's often asking if her friends if they are in need of anything and is always willing to drop everything to rush to a friend's side. She's a shoulder to cry on and is happy to sit and listen as someone throws all their worries and problems on her to be returned with loving words or advice. Seemingly fun-loving and good-natured Lizzy isn't particularly shy or timid, however, she's not a fan of being under the limelight and prefers to watch her loved ones shine and guide them from the sidelines. Elizabeth was born into this world an accident. Hannah, her mother, was only approaching her 16th year when she fell pregnant with the son of James, her then boyfriend, now ex-husband. Hannah's parents were extremely disappointed with their daughter and at the beginning of her pregnancy they couldn't so much as look at her without expressing shame. Luckily, they came through in the end. Being heavily against abortion they left Hannah with no choice but to continue the pregnancy and put the child up for adoption, which was their plan throughout the whole pregnancy. It was at 3am on a rainy April morning that Elizabeth graced the world with her presence 5 weeks early. For Hannah it was a long at painful birth but as much as her and James attempted to force the idea to stick in their minds neither could give up their tiny, very tiny for that matter, bundle of joy.

Under the watchful eyes of two sets of grandparents and her parents, who continued their studies, from quite a young age Elizabeth had no choice but to learn to adjust to different schedules and routines easily. She never posed to be a problem and would only throw the occasional temper tantrum when didn't get her way. It wasn't long, however, before she grew out of it. From a very young age she proved to be a sweet and loving little girl and never got over her love for hugs.

Elizabeth was 5, not far off 6, when her parents married. Even now she can recall the day to almost precise detail and claims it to be one of her fondest memories. It was only weeks after Hannah and James returned from their honeymoon they discovered Hannah was once again pregnant and on the September of that year she gave birth to a healthy young boy they called Joshua. From there was all happy families for quite a few years. Hannah and James were deep in love and loved their children even more. Elizabeth adored Josh and the pair got along really well. It all just worked, alas, that happiness was not made to last.

Elizabeth would crawl into her brother's bed, hold him close, tell him everything was going to be okay (even though she didn't believe it herself) and would sing him to sleep. It was that first night Elizabeth vowed to never get drunk in fear of coming to the state of her parents. As time went on the couple no longer need the aid of alcohol to fuel their anger but the tiniest disagreements snowballed into huge fights. I wasn't until only months before the roadtrip that they finally divorced but now they continuously fight over custody of Lizzy and Josh and she hates it.

Biography:

Theo spent much of his formative years bouncing around the foster care system. The families he was placed with rarely seemed interested in actually having him around. Sure, there were a few that weren't just interested in the paycheck that came with housing him but those families were the minority. For the most part, his foster parents were disinterested or just downright abusive. Theo used to dream that his real parents would come back for him and they'd live happily ever after.

His real parents never did show up but he did find happy. When the Lincoln family took him in, Theo realized immediately that they were different. Not only were they wealthy in their own right, which meant they didn't care about the money he brought, they actually seemed to give a damn. Sure, they were hard on him from time to time but that was only to motivate him to become great. They didn't want him to become some statistic. Cass isn't trying to impress anyone with how she dresses, which might explain why she often has a sort of greasy, slovenly look about her, from t-shirts that have what people hope are drink and food stains, to jeans that long since lost their last legs, down to shoes that are run over. There's a certain madness to her outfits that somehow manages to feel just so...fitting. Her hair, golden blonde, is often stringy and unkempt while her blue eyes are striking if only because of her heavy and dark eye shadow that stands out amidst her otherwise pale complexion.

Cass is of average height at 5'5" and her lack of a strict exercise routine is quite clear from her figure, which isn't as slim and trim as is the 'ideal'. A diet of bad food will do that to a person. So long as she can make her ass fit into her jeans, she's perfectly fine with her choices. Some have called her style punk. She thinks that that is stupid as her style is just whatever. There's no style.

There's always that one person you know growing up that everyone figures will be a dropout, burnout, or behind bars because of their attitude, that person parents don't want their kids hanging out with for the most superficial of reasons, and Cass is that girl. Cass controls a room with her voice when her actions don't do it for her, though most people just find her grating, gross, or annoying. Cass has little time for the people who can't keep up with her on some level though she holds the people that give her a chance in high regard. Biography:
A question many have after meeting Cass is 'was she always like that?' And the answer might come as a surprise if ever there was anyone around to hear it. Cass, born Cassandra, Rowley comes from a well off family, the type of family that has wings of a hospital or building named after them. The type of family that lives in a gated community and speaks ill about those that look different than they do. You know the type. Cass bought into the lifestyle as a child, taking the piano lessons after private school and being groomed to be a perfect little socialite, auctioned off to some other nouveau riche suitor to keep the money and conditioning well alive. It was around the start of middle school when Cass began to change. Her parents liked to blame the less fortunate as a bad influence, but it was just a matter of Cass seeing her parents and realizing that she wanted to be anything but them.

Cass attended public high school, which was about as big a slap in the face to her family as she could do without bringing home an unwanted suitor, and went to great lengths to hide her fortunate status from the others. She accomplished this by wearing clothes straight out of punk music videos, at first being a very poor poser but slowly, over time, adapting the anarchistic, wild child lifestyle for herself. All the marks were checked on the list. Smoking behind the gym. Truancy. A stint with a shitty garage band. Being thrown out of said band for thinking that their one and only gig had to end with her kicking a bigass hole in the drummer's kit. Cass embraced a life of attitude and loose morals even if it meant being cut off from her family's bank account.

Despite her grades being on the passing end of the spectrum, Cass dropped out near the end of her junior year. Because of how she acted she never relied on her parents for money (other than asking them to buy her a bitchin camaro for her sixteenth) and took up odd jobs around town, from mowing lawns with a lawn care company, to temp work, to her most recent stint as a waitress at the cheapest, and thus most popular, diner in town. Ada is a rebel. She bends and breaks rules as they come. She doesn't like being caged - this girl needs a healthy room to spread her wings. She likes to have fun in every way possible, and this has led to her having a lot of friends. She is the kind of person who wears her heart on her sleeve and sees the good in everyone. She doesn't care if you smoke, if you made out and did something more with whoever. Your life, your choices. She doesn't judge, and it's one of the reasons why it's so easy for her to make friends.

She would do everything to make her friends happy. She would tell them what they needed to hear even if she had to lie through her teeth, she would cross states if she could just to make them smile, heck she would help the love of her life find his soulmate even if it wasn't her - really, one would think that her life goal was making other people happy. She's a pretty extreme person with just as extreme ways of doing things, and would not think twice in tiptoeing into other people's businesses if she thinks it's for the best. However, Robin doesn't like it when people meddle in her life, and it's one of the things that could really piss her off.

Ada is impulsive both in words and actions. It takes her brain a while to catch up with her mouth and words tend to carelessly roll off her tongue before she even thinks about them. She does and says the first thing that comes to mind. With the odds usually in her favor, the girl has developed the mindset that she can get away with anything without regard for consequences.

Shy is the last word anyone would use to describe Ada, as she is not the kind to keep to herself even among strangers. She would let out side-comments, the most random ones in fact, just to keep a conversation going. Ada's mind is not a one-way street - it's full of crossroads and overpasses. Thoughts that race through her mind are like speeding cars on a highway. One moment she can be talking about a Math class and in the next she could be asking why there is no such thing as magic wands. Ada is an unpredictable ball of energy that literally zooms around the place, and may the gods help you if you try to stop her.

The young woman can be one of the most cheerful and outgoing people to hang out with, but get on her nerves and she won't be as fun. She has a very short temper and it isn't hard to light up the fuse that will send her going on a rampage. Ada has very little control on herself when she gets angry and it shows. Her impulsiveness multiplies tenfold and she would literally throw tantrums and smash things in her rage, and that's not counting how she would blurt out whatever vengeful thought that fills her mind and at that moment, wouldn't give a care whether she hurts other people or not. After the storm has passed, Ada wouldn't simmer down back to normal for a while. She isn't a forgiving person, and she tends to hold grudges.

One of the reasons why she just explodes with anger is because of how she bottles emotions up inside herself. People usually see her as that happy-go-lucky girl who doesn't have problems when in reality, she is just as troubled as the next person. Even to her closest friends, Ada finds it hard to let out her inner feelings especially negative ones like sadness and fear. She hates to burden people with her problems and sees it fit to just take them in her stride and deal with them on her own. Ada turns to practical jokes and laughter to distract herself from the gray things in her life, even though her problems are not as serious as many.

At an average height of about 5’ 10”, he’s rather unremarkable in a crowd. With a thin, wiry frame supported by a fair amount of muscle- which he maintains through yardwork, helping his grandma out, and taking care of a disagreeable pickup. Unruly- but more or less straight- brown hair would dominate the top of his head, if he wasn’t always wearing his blue beanie. Muddy brown eyes stare out of a pair of thicker-rimmed prescription glasses. By default, he appears to be calm, reserved, and thoughtful.

In short, Phil wishes he could help other people- he sees many things and wishes to act upon the urge to help others remedy their flaws. However, he’s also intelligent enough to realize most people wouldn’t welcome his help, and even more so, he doesn’t want to risk getting hurt by trying to help someone.

Philip is intelligent, and he’s wary of others because of it.

He doesn’t joke much. He’ll crack a smile and maybe laugh a little, but he doesn’t see the world in a bright light, which affects his humor. If he says something, really says it, then he means it. While he uses sarcasm as a defense against people he doesn’t like, or when he’s feeling threatened, he’s unlikely to mean anything he says when he’s being sarcastic or passive-aggressive.

When he tells you something, without sarcasm or anything, then you can safely assume that is what he whole-heartedly means. Most of the time, he voices his thoughts without any emotion in his voice- cutting it off, simply making it factual.

Biography:
Philip lives outside of town, about ten miles away. Having grown up in the family home- a sizable two-story stone brick house- on the family ranch, he’s more used to the solitude than the crowds.

As a child, he had difficulty fitting in. He read books, where other kids played football and laughed at each other. Even when he did join the kids for games he did like- such as tag- he was often picked on, targeted, and laughed at especially much. So, from an early age, he learned not to trust them- not to give them anything more to laugh at him for. And as new kids came and went, all of them laughing at him, he learned that it wasn’t just the kids at his school- it was kids from any school.

The older he grew, the more reserved he became. His help was generally looked down upon- others must have thought him condescending, or that he felt he was superior to them. Despite being in a family that made plenty of money- not rich-rich, but could certainly afford not working for a week or buying something on a whim or three- he was never feeling as if he was fortunate or the like. He was unhappy, and the under-privileged, poverty-stricken ones were so much more exuberant and excited.

Thus, as Philip came into high school, he felt a much different environment and was a little intimidated by it. People were less interested in bullying, and more interested in their own personal lives and drama- some still beat up on others, but most were occupied with something else. He felt a certain sort of freedom in this- even as a couple kids tried to get a reaction out of him, he realized it happened maybe once or twice a month, if that, instead of at least once a day as it used to when he was much younger.

He never did much- he didn’t participate in sports, didn’t participate in any extra-curricular activities, and purposely dumbed down his assignments a little, so that he wouldn’t be continually commended, recognized, or otherwise singled out, to ensure that he was simply average, and invisible.

jarek has, quite literally, a baby face. his blue eyes are consistently half-lidded, giving the typical aqua tone an even deeper shade. his nose has very little definition and resembles a cat's, with a small and flat ending and little nostrils and an indistinct bridge. his nose is pierced, and jarek typically wears a ring through it. his cheekbones are high and are the only peak in his features, whereas everywhere else he has no sharp angles or shocking turns. they keep his cheeks hollow in cooperation with a heavy jawline and pixielike, pointed chin. his lips are perhaps the most distinguishing part of his face, in that they resemble a porcelain doll's mouth. his cupid's bow is like the top of a cartoon heart, gentle and curved, and he has somewhat of an overbite. the corners of his mouth are constantly turned up just slightly, like he knows something you don't, which he so lovingly calls his "kitten mouth" for the cheshire cat it is so reminiscent of. a 'marilyn monroe freckle' lies just between his nose and mouth. he has an undercut, and the longest part lies at the front of his head, curling just slightly and shading one eye unless he takes the time to move it out of the way.

standing at about five foot nine, he is not the tallest kid around, but fares well enough. jarek weighs in at an unhealthy 120 pounds. he is far too erratic to stay still and put on the weight he so desperately needs, although he recognises how bad the situation has gotten whenever he stumbles and finds a massive bruise over jutting bones the next day. most of the weight he does carry is muscle - while jarek isn't necessarily strong, he retains some of the bulk middle school athleticism has granted him in his upper arms, calves, and thighs; everywhere else, however, such as his stomach, is glazed over with a thin layer of fat. he probably needs it badly, anyway.

jarek is very difficult to understand while speaking. he takes abrupt stops in the middle of a train of thought and usually has to restart the subject entirely. he answers questions with excessive, unnecessary detail. he often completely derails from the conversation topic, confusing not only the other person but himself as well. he becomes unintelligible because, though his words are real words, the manner in which they are strung together results in incoherent gibberish. he typically has unrelenting, rapid speech without pauses. he is inattentive and hyperactive, constantly behaving disruptively and acting on impulse. he is easily distracted, misses details, forgets things, and frequently switches from one activity to another - anyone who interacts with jarek might become quickly exhausted. he does not seem to listen when spoken to, which makes things all the more difficult. he has difficulty processing verbal and nonverbal language which can turn people away. he also may drift off during conversations, and miss social cues.

he is warmly interested in others. jarek has spectacular sensing and judgment, which he uses to gather specific, detailed information about others, and turn this information into supportive judgments; he is extremely good at reading others, and understanding their point of view... jay often even changes his own manner to be more pleasing to whoever he's with at the moment. he wants to like people, and has a special skill at bringing out the best in others. he has a special gift of invariably making people feel good about themselves. scariest is that jarek has a strong need to be liked, and to be in control.

his romanticized pursuit of life is probably self-destructive, in the end. jarek is completely unable to realize that his dreams are not a reality and so may remain dormant for long periods awaiting these fantasies. he always sees what he is doing as noble, honorable, and purposeful. others, however, can easily perceive the futility of his tasks as he becomes a parody of his former self. jarek is, quite literally, fatally idealistic. he can't wait to distance himself from his past in terms of his family, but yet he lives his life trying to recapture happy moments from childhood.

jarek, by himself and completely unaffected by the presence of others, generally exhibits a very low mood, which pervades all aspects of his life. he has a distinct inability to experience true pleasure, and is usually ruminating over thoughts and feelings of worthlessness, guilt or regret over little things, helplessness, hopelessness, self-hatred... in truth, jarek is a rather unhappy character.

however, around others, jay tends to become overly conscious about them, to the point of delusion. many are very clearly implausible and not understandable to his peers and do not derive from his life experiences. in fact, they simply appear from nowhere. most of his beliefs contain content consistent with either a depressive or manic state, both two of his usual moods. he tends to believe that another person controls his thoughts, feelings, impulses, or behavior; that he has died; that his thoughts have been inserted in his mind by some external force; that others are in love with him; or perhaps even that he has some disease or infestation (jarek is a hypochondriac beyond belief). he could be convinced that he has special powers, talents, or abilities. occasionally he even believes he is famous.

Biography: jarek was born to aileen and isaac wilhelm: a mortician and a personal lawyer, respectively, and distant cousins. aileen worked primarily for the state and various hospital morgues, while isaac worked directly under a new york court of one of the highest legal jurisdictions. their work often kept them from spending proper time around their son, which probably led to jarek's inevitable dependency issues, but that's not to say they were terrible parents. in fact, jarek was left with plenty of material belongings - mostly, a gigantic library in their equally massive mansion.

while his father encouraged him to study law as a child (rightly so, considering his high status as a lawyer), jarek often took to botany on the side - much to the dismay of both of his very serious parents. he adores horticulture, and, fun fact: his house isn't truly a home, just a hoarder mess of needless belongings and plants growing from the sporadically dirt-trodden floors. his youth before now was not only spent spent growing plants in secret, hiding them in jars and in the corners of windowsills and behind cans in cupboards (usually they'd die, of course, or grow to be pale and yellowed); but also learning all he could about law and the entrepreneurial charisma politicians displayed. his childhood was more of a clandestine double life than much else, with a 'fun' side and a 'boring' side very easily distinguishable.

jarek has known jarvis longer than anyone, and he's actually surprised their relationship hasn't lost its original strength. this isn't because they don't get along well - in fact, they get on perfectly, as far as he can tell - but moreso because jarek has the kind of personality that someone can't easily be around for more than an hour, let alone the twelve years they have known each other. he is to blame for most of the 'corruption' in jarvis, despite being the younger of the duo, and seems to be quite fond of that fact. he spoils jarvis constantly to make up for the other male's financially unstable home life (which seems to be not so bad when you take into consideration how generous jar's father is - jarek has made a friend out of the man himself). jay does, in fact, fancy jarvis, but he believes wholeheartedly that jar isn't interested in men, so he tries not to pursue anything. that doesn't keep him from constantly hitting on moore, however, like he does with basically any other boy his age. he doesn't seem to bother with personal boundaries when it comes to jarvis, but that's pretty much expected after you know someone for so long.

while he's not closest to her and vice versa, jarek finds lizzy to be quite like a little bird - very fragile and small (literally, in the physical sense, considering he is an entire nine inches taller than her). however, he doesn't consider her weak necessarily; coming from a rather unhealthy past himself, jarek believes there's something behind-the-scenes for lizzy, although she has never told him or even hinted at anything suspicious. that said, he playfully teases her for his superiority in their four month age difference and sometimes her diminutive size, but doesn't do much beyond that for fear of legitimately hurting her feelings.

Jamie stands at a solid height of 5'11" and weighs around 165lb. He's not the tallest and he has an average build, not skinny but he's no where close to looking like a gym addict. His hair is naturally a milk chocolate brown, but he dyed the top of it bleached blonde. His eyes are a dark chocolate brown, and stand out when his blonde hair is showing. He has a tattoo on his chest and a half sleeve on his left forearm. His chest tattoo is a heart shape with Roman numerals integrated in, the colors blue and red are shown. Jamie's been described as crazy, an asshole, douchebag, hilarious, you name it. He's extreme on all ends of the spectrum. Never the type to stay still, James seeks adventure and the beautiful things in life. With a great sense of humor and wit, he has a smooth charm with a devilish hint mixed it. To most, he seems like a smartass, douche, with no filter. His brain is always working overtime, and his tongue holds nothing back. Surprisingly it takes a lot to set him off, but once he reaches that point, you'd better hold on. The only time you'll see the sweet, caring side of him is when he's with his grandparents or in the presence of small children, and maybe close friends occasionally. James' reputation with girls makes most people think he's some sort of player. Which is pretty much true. He's never had a solid girlfriend, but many girls at his school regret to say he's slept with them. Why they fall for the persona he puts up is beyond him but it works. Deep down, he actually craves a real relationship, but he probably wouldn't be a great boyfriend, considering his personality and track record with women. Wolfe has a serious problem with authority, and hates people who think thy are better than him without any knowledge of who he actually is. People assume he's this burnout who can't keep him mouth shut, so sometimes he just plays the part. Jamie just wants to make something out of himself. He wants someone he can be close to, and feel something real besides an occasional adrenaline rush.

Biography:
From the few, foggy memories James has of his parents, he gathered that they had loved him dearly. Sadly, he could only think back to those simpler times in brief pictures and short clips. Like his favorite memory of them; he was being pushed on a swing by his father. Everythime the swing would rush backwards he would look over his shoulder to see his father smiling at him and James would giggle gleefully. When he was pitches forward he was greeted by his mother's beautiful face making silly expressions at him until he would get close enough and she would tickle his tummy. In the present day, he can only grip on to that one memory and a vague remembrance of their faces. He was five years old when they tragically died in a freak car accident. Jamie had been at home with a babysitter while his parents were out on a date for their anniversary. Coming home, they were in a front end collision with a drunk driver. The man had been swerving in his lane and smashed into them at 70 miles an hour. Medical professionals claimed they died instantly, not that James cared about the degree to which they died. At the ripe age of five, death was a foreign concept, and it didn't really sink in for a while. He was just told that Mama and Daddy were on vacation for a while and he was going to have to stay with his grandparents. May and Gary Wolfe took great care of him, even in their old age. Growing up, Jamie received nothing but love and was spoiled constantly. He grew up in an amazing home, Gary had been the CEO of a multi-million dollar company which not only allowed him to retire early, but left him with a hefty amount of cash in the bank. By the time James hit his teenage years, he became redical. He was angry at the universe from taking his parents away from him, and he acted out in school because of it. At the point, his grandparents were in their late seventies and couldn't keep a proper eye on him. Despite his punk behavior in school and the partying and the drugs, he always treated his grandparents with the tenderest love. Deep down he hated that he was doing what he was doing, because he knew his parents would have wanted him to be a better person. Not that it mattered what they would have thought, they were fucking gone.
Things sort of calmed down by his junior year of high school. He was actually focused on doing well in school and his teachers realized that he was actually really freaking smart. If he had put more effort in and really cracked down on his studies, he could have easily gotten straight A's. Instead he got average B's, but Hell that was way better than the D's and E's he had been recieving beforehand. Things looked like they were turning around from the young Wofle, he even managed to land himself a job as an assistant in an auto shop in town. Jamie learned here the ins and outs of cars, and also found a love for them. Using his grandfather's money, he bought a luxury car at 17 years old. It was a beautiful Audi R8 and it caught a lot of people's eyes. He bought it used, but used his new skills learned from the auto shop to fix it up.
With the road trip coming up, James is excited, not that he'd show it. He figures it's one last hurray before he has to put his big boy pants on and make something out of himself.
