In Harry Potter's fifth year at Hogwarts he and his friends broke into the Department of Mysteries in order to find his Godfather. They were exposed to some of the Ministry of Magic's most important secrets, and they still are in their memories to this day. After that incident the Ministry set up a smaller sector know as the Ministry of Secrets, formed specially to stop incidents like that happening again, and to extract the memories of those who do get away. Memory wiping is a simple process, but choosing a specific memory and extracting it is a painful process.

30 years later (present day in the RP) a wand maker, Jack Hamilton, his Wife, Alice Hamilton, and his daughter, Aria Hamilton were kidnapped. Jack and his wife had earlier that year tapped into the mystery of a wand's Core Power. A wand unleashes its core power when it's core starts to break down, it unleashes as much power as it can before it sizzles out and shatters. It usually happens when a wand's core is at the last year or two of its life, and for this reason it only happens to wands that are handed down for generations, as most wands are buried with its owner. By using older and less stable cores, the Hamiltons were able to make a stronger type of wand with an older core by preserving the core to make it less weak, but with still as much power when it is at the last stages of its life.

Many other wand makers tried to use this power but were unsuccessful, mostly due to simple error, but also impatience as funding the right core and preserving it takes a long time, as well as crafting the wand itself. This wand making family were the makers of wands all across the world, and it was important that they were recovered and that their secrets were in the right hands. With the Ministry of Secrets busy with Memory Extraction, they formed a group under themselves known as L.U.M.O.S, or League Under the Ministry Of Secrets. As of now the teams main priority was recovering the Hamilton's and discovering who was behind their kidnapping.

OOC Information

So, you are playing a group of L.U.M.O.S. Agents investigating into the kidnapping of two important wand makers and their daughter. We are still accepting more people, and will close this when we reach around 12, if it gets to that.

No, this does not take place in Hogwarts. It will take place mostly in the Wizarding World with maybe a few bits here and there in the muggle world. Below is the Character Sheet and Rules.

Character Sheet

Full Name:
Appearance: A description as well as a picture. (Put picture in hider)
Age: Between 24 and 42
Blood Status: Pure, Half, or Muggle-Born
Wand: Description, Wood, Core, and current status (I.e. Unyealding, reasonably pliant, etc.) A picture would be nice but it's not required. Also if there is a picture put it in a separate hider.

Previous Job: Somewhere in the Ministry of Magic
Family: Mother, Father, Sister or Brother (if any), children (if any), and spouse (if any). Anyone of significance in their family.

Likes: At Least Five
Dislikes: At least Five
Fears: At least three. Make fears and dislikes different.

Personality: At least two detailed paragraphs.

History: At least three detailed paragraphs.

Rules

• No Godmodding. Do I really even need to put this up here?
• No Powerplaying, or controlling another's character without their consent.
• Post at least 4 times a week. Sometimes posts will go faster than that, as it will be fast paced at some moments, but as long as you can catch up and stay with us I don't mind only four posts a week.
• I'm not one to have you write 25,000 character books, but if you want to be my guest. The only thing I don't want is one-three liners. If you get your point across in four lines or more, then I'm fine with that, but don't slack just because I'm letting four-liners go. I still want some descriptive writing.
• If you are t going to be active for two or more days and you know, please tell me. I get it, things pop up in life, it happens to me too, but if you know in advance there is no harm in telling me, I don't bite.
• Sure, romance is allowed, but when the clothes start to come off, fade to black or take it to PM.
• I'm ok with language, you might see it from me throughout the RP, but don't sware in EVERY. SINGLE. SENTANCE. It really ruins the RP.
• While it's not encourage, In Game drama is allowed, but keep it in game. If you have a problem don't post it in the thread, PM it to me. If it still can't be resolved, take it to the mods.

I have the right to change these rules at any time. I'll give you a warning or two, but then you are outta here.

Great, but on a bad note... Shit.

With OOC's I'm starting to type stuff on Microsoft word. Just got back to my computer to find my sister messing with the OOC... All of it... Gone. Not saved, all deleted, no way for me to undo it. Was just about to post it but now I've found out I won't have access to my computer for a week (going out of town) so I'll have to make the OOC from scratch... On my phone.

If you are going to Collab, I would recommend Titan Pad, though I believe it's a bit buggy on the mobile version if you use the guild on your phone.

Personality: Callum isn't afraid to speak his thoughts if he believes something to be right, no matter how much opposition he has. He enjoys reading, and even after he gets his egg, he hopes to learn more about Dragons and Dragonlore. Though he likes reading he's not timid and always ready for an adventure.

History: He never knew his mother, and his father was a business man who was easy to up set, tended to rub people the wrong way, and sometimes came off as a bit of a racist, which he was. Sure Callum looked up to his father, but not to some of his beliefs. Living right outside the city and the academy, Callum thought it would be a great way to get a breath of fresh air from his father, as well as meet new friends, which he was always eager to do. After two years at the academy, he's now ready to become what he's always wanted to be, a Dragon Rider.
