Oddly enough, it seems that this is the norm these days, and although it doesn't really make sense to the norm, it doesn't actually kinda make sense considering that this is the behavior I've come to expect from people who are used to getting their way. This just happens ( if it wasn't staged of course ) to be the typical extreme case.-edit- I have no clue what the fuck I just said. I'm tired.

Alright. Most members are going Copenhagen Coalition, which is the neutral faction. I'll allow a second major faction to be apped if you have a faction in the CC, then you can app one in the Directorate or UDF. We really need more balanced coalitions at this point. Also, we need leadership for the UDF and Directorate. If no one is applying the leader of the UDF, I will make their leader faction as an example for the application process. I would prefer you use an established land mass, and Australia probably works best considering the amount of land you get. Also, everyone remember that the resources on Earth are exactly like ours and are placed in the same places. This means that special elements or materials that only exist in your factions universe don't transfer over. However, there will be a solution to factions that heavily rely on their special materials early on in the RP, so don't let this discourage you from using such factions. In regards to land claiming; we're not at that point yet, but you guys are free to draw borders among yourselves. An Earth based countries homeland always takes precedence; for example, if I apped the United States, I would get the US' current borders, no questions asked. Or, if someone apped CnC USSR; they would get Russia, no questions asked. However, external holdings such as the USSRs ownership of eastern Europe will only be given to them if no one else claims those lands by the time that faction is approved.Another thing to keep in mind is faction size, and there will be limits to how large a population your faction can have. Having a larger population means you can own more land, but there is a limit to that as well; you simply can't claim all of Europe for, say, a fictional USSR. Satellites to your nations homeland(For example, South America to Code Geass' Britannia) may be allowed depending on size constraints of the roleplay, the case in question, and so on. Britannia is guaranteed the United States and perhaps Canada if applied; whether or not it gets South America depends on if anyone else wants it and factors present at that time. This is of course, just an example. But yes, we need moar people in the other two coalitions.

Hmm... I'm actually hoping to app the Empire of the Rising Sun From Red Alert three and place them within their canon locations, which would be the Japanese Home islands, Taiwan, Phillipines and Indonesia. They also had Hawaii, but I'm willing to part with it for this RP
