What's that one line in the Bible again? "Give unto God what is God's, and unto Caesar what is Caesar's." I don't remember specifically what it is but I get the idea of it, Jesus saying to give to God what is his and to the state what is theirs.

He's saying at least two different things. One of these things he's saying is what you just pointed out, and another thing he's saying is that the entire world belongs to God. Thus, God would rather you give to someone what belongs to them. In this case "taxes". :D

So on and so forth.There is an inexhaustible amount of evidence showing why mixing the two is just a bad idea flat out.Besides, in American schools, I don't think teachers could hand out Communist Manifestos and not get chewed up for it. Not even if they did it to teach what's wrong with the theory and how it doesn't account for human nature.

Most religions and governments don't mix. If people could understand that, Christianity does, then the world would be a much better place.

So the idea is that before they were who they are now, they were chased by a horrible creature/something. They were cornered and were either tortured or just terrified. In the moment, our characters cried out for help. Your character could have been heard by Satan or whomever, and mine was chosen by maybe God or something else. :D

The link sounds good. My oc is a girl still in highschool, shes normal, sweet, a little shy and rather akward. She is obsessed with creepy pastas. Her secondary personality is an agressive brit who takes over her body as she sleeps and murder people, claiming hes a demon spawn

Ah, I see. . . So, my character has just left High School and is your character's BF, BFF, or maybe just a guy she has a crush on?

Ah. So I'm thinking of a character. His name is Mystery.

Mystery Man is a man with multiple personalities.
The Child: A sweet heart of a man who has just turned eighteen. He's innocent, kind and compassionate, but lacks experience and is maybe even kind of naive. He seems simple minded sometimes but he can be extremely wise and insightful. The Child is a master of stealth, and hiding as well. As The Child, Mystery Man is very quick witted, fast on his feet and perceptive of his surroundings.
The Monster: A terrible serial killer. He has murdered one thousand people, or at least he has claimed to. He claims to have lived since before the Norman Conquest of England. He has seen much evil as a mortal and a spirit, and he has claimed it is this which has given him insight into the meaning of life.
The Wild Man: This is an old man who claims to have been a wizard in Medieval England. He was hunted down by well meaning people, knights, mobs and nobility after being framed for the torment and murder of children, animals, royalty and even entire villages. He asked for his dear friend Lord Garth to kill him so he would be spared torture and being burned alive. The Wild Man won't reveal his name and he seems to know much more about The Mystery Man than his other personalities. He isn't telling Mystery Man, The Monster or the Child about the secrets he knows.
