"Let me tell you a story about you and me. I used to roam the skies alone, until you called for me. You were called Rabbit Girl, and you were born on a planet I roamed once long ago called Earth. Rabbit Girl could create as many rabbits as she wanted with the wave of her hand. She fed me when I was starving. She fixed the lonely ache in my heart. She made me feel alive once more. We ran free for many months, and I no longer felt the urge to eat the rabbits. I tolerated them, allowed them to jump onto my back and curl up in the cold rain. Rabbit Girl would use the stars in my fur to make constellations. She would say, 'Starwolf, what do you think of that one?' And what could I say? I agreed with her as the stars appeared on my flanks as well as in the sky.
"We had roamed for decades together, obeying the one rule I had asked over her. Never look me in the eye. For my eyes were all the suns in the galaxy, and would blind poor Earth-borns if they looked at me. Whenever she asked me a question, she would stare at the moon on my forehead, or the stars through my fur, or at my great big paws. I never wanted her to look at me."
"One day, I just got so exhausted that I fell into a horribly long sleep. When I awoke, Rabbit girl was gone. I ran across the Earth four times looking for her until I came across her rabbits. They led me to her, hidden away in a large building, chained to a pipe with a human skull in her hands. The man who held her captive, Early Bird, fought me for her. I ended him quickly. Drawing Rabbit Girl's mask over her face, I took her away. It was there, in her red car with the doors flung open, that I realized I loved her. For the first time ever, I looked at Rabbit Girl's eyes. She was asleep, so she didn't even notice. But I moved my foot, or my tail or made a noise, because her eyes snapped open, staring right into mine"
"We locked eyes for days, months even, but neither of us could look away. I could tell I was blinding her. I could not look away, though my heart was breaking. When it was finished, Rabbit Girl curled up in a ball and screamed bloody murder. Her rabbits watched on. I took her to the humans in hope that they could heal her. They did."
"With her sight restored, I longed to talk to her. I ran to her and nuzzled her and praised her, but she could no longer see me. The humans erased part of her magic... the part that believed in me."

Adamine frowned deeply and looked back at Damian from where she crouched by Adiaan's lifeless body "You knew him just as well as I did, that was not the little boy who liked to go fishing that I used to know, he was so angry" Adamine trails off and drops her gaze back to her dead twin "I wonder what happened to make him this way, surely it wasn't me, though I guess it very well could have been" pushing herself off her knees she sits down beside her brother's still body and draws her knees up to her chest and drops her head so that her hood falls over her eyes, she didn't like the fact that it was more than likely her fault he was like this. "he must have been suffering for so long" she mumbles into her knees.

History: Emory was abandoned shortly after birth by his parents, he was raised by a small family of farmers that treated him like a ghost, he had his set chores to do and that was the extent of his outside interaction, he lived a sheltered life growing up as he was never fully allowed to leave the farm let alone his room, his adoptive parents treated him like an unwanted burden. Emory's magic manifested in summer the year he turned ten, he had been out picking and storing melons in the field as was his job this time of year and no sooner than he'd cleared the small melon field he was attacked from behind, a blade slashed across his shoulder causing him to fall in sudden shock from the pain, twisting around to see his assailant Emory gaped at the families eldest son who was wielding his father's old military issued sword, bringing it up above his head he brought it tip down at Emory, Emory curled tightly into a ball quickly and waited for the pain that didn't come, uncurling himself he looked around, he wasn't in the melon field anymore, rather the large forest that was several hundred feet away from the farm. Emory learned to control it easily enough, he never went back to the farm opting instead to work for a near by older fellow who was rather wealthy, he took Emory under his wing and raised him, teaching him how to properly use a staff as a means of defense. Seven years later the old man passed away leaving Emory once more alone. Emory made his way to Crocus in search of a guild to join knowing now that he had learned all that he could about magic by himself.
Personality: Emory is incredibly friendly if he can get passed his initial shyness, he's often seen as laid back and quiet, he enjoys the company of people over being alone, though he would appear to be the loner type as he likes to sit back quietly and distance himself from groups, he prefers to be at the edge of things, never alone or the center of attention, he has a strong sense of compassion and curiosity. Closing her eyes Adamine composes her self, she'd gone through this before, she just didn't think it would have happened again, resting her hand delicately on his chest she watches the last of his small black flames flicker and die out with a puff of smoke. "I'm sorry Adiaan" she wasn't sure what else to say as he took his last breath. Steeling her emotions she drew up her hood and glanced at Damian "Thanks" she meant it, she knew her brother was in a much better place, she knew how he had been feeling, and it certainly wasn't good, snapping herself out of her thoughts she looked to Damian again "What do we do now?" she didn't want to ask what they were supposed to do with her now dead twin brother, she didn't think she'd be able to take it.
Adamine watched Damian's conjured blade in fascination "That's pretty neat, I bet you can control them pretty easily, since it doesn't really have a will of it's own, fire seems to always want to follow a path of least resistance and the heat always wants to rise, it's pretty hard to control that" Adamine smiled softly "oh and where would I find Master Jamie so I could go ahead and join, though maybe I should wait until after the games" Adamine's words slowed to a stop as she recognized her twin brother's feelings inside her, tightening her jaw at all the anger she felt from him she glanced around, seeing him step into the doorway of the Phoenix Wing stands Adamine gawked at him until he motioned her closer, she moved toward him without hesitation. He smiled forcefully as she approached "Hey sis, it's been a long while, I know, but we need to talk, alone" he flashed his steely blue eyes at the room and stepped aside so Adamine could pass through the doorway, Adiaan's arms flickered with small black flames as he turned and followed her. Adamine's mind was racing, her brother was alive and here with her, but she could feel all his dark feelings and that scared her, she tried not to let it show as they came to a halt at the edge of the city. "what's this all about Adiaan, and what is wrong with you, what happened?" Adamine raised her voice as Adiaan rounded on her, his flames extending to the ground around them as he grew more angry "you killed mom and dad didn't you!" black fire exploded all around him as he pulled his spear from his back.
