Jett was ready for an explosion of anger and yelling. Name calling and maybe a hit on the shoulder. From a girl like Mina, that was to be expected. How ever, she did the complete opposite. She bursted into tears and was sobbing uncontrollably. Jett pulled his head back in shock, looking at th back of minas’ head as she turned away. All of his anger washed away as he felt like an ass now.

He sat there for a moment, unsure of what to do. He could handle crying girls, and often could be their for them for a shoulder to cry on. But when he was the reason for their crying. He didn’t know what to say, how to fix it. He froze.

Looking down and shifting uncomfortably in his position, he didn’t really realize that Mina was that fragile. Taking a beating like that would be heavy on anyone. But with the way she was acting all this week, he just assumed she was pissed the fuck off. There was something he was clearly missing but he didn’t know what.

He looked over to her and said softly, Kasuke… I’m sorry. Please dont cry. That’s the last thing I wanted. He felt conflicted at the moment, while its true he didn’t want her to cry, he also meant what he was said. He also thought she would throw it back at him as well. He probably would have handled it way differently if he knew this would have happened.

He stood up and scratched the back of his head, his hands moving around his body as he couldn’t figure what to do with them after that.

Reina Mori

Michiko struggled to get the wolf off of her. But to no avail. With it pinning her shoulders she had no way of gaining enough force to push the beast off her. Nor could she reach her sword which was just out of her reach. She could hear Takeshi and Hades fighting, she couldn’t call for him out of fear that she would distract him enough for an opening that could get him killed. Kaida was screaming in pain, and she didn’t know how the others were fairing.

She was, however surprised when Reina suddenly appeared and bit the wolf!?! Ripping off its ear. He was shocked to see that, and honestly a little frightened. She let out a gasp for air as the wolf eased up slightly as its attention was now on Riena. She really couldn’t move still but when Riena said she was going to use her quirk, she readied herself as much as she could. Which wasn’t much, but tightening her muscles.

She did notice the pain in Reina’s eyes as she stood up on her left foot, and when she kicked the wolf, snapping its neck… she couldn’t believe how cool she looked right then. Using such an uncontrollable quirk to her advantage in just mere moments. The quiet girl was really amazing.

As soon as the wolf was yanked off of her she scrambled to her feet clumsily, crawling over to her and wrapping her arms around you.“Thank you Riena!” She said breathing hard. She looked to Takeshi and saw him gaining the advantage when she asked “Are you ok?” to the girl next to her.

Reina blinked at the embrace, taken out of her mild bloodlust for a moment as she glanced down to Michiko. The short-haired girl fought the instinct to put her weight on Michiko, instead keeping herself standing under her own power despite her injuries.

The girl couldn’t help but lightly wrap one arm around Michiko--very lightly, as it was her injured arm and she didn’t want to get any more blood on the other girl’s clothes… well, not like that really mattered now. It was a nice moment, that Reina knew she’d remember for a long time, but she couldn’t let it go on with danger so close.

She gave Michiko a small smile, left eye closing shut as she felt blood from her cut on her forehead running down her brow. “I’ve been better.” Hm. A real hero probably would have said that they were completely fine. Maybe. She’d keep that in mind for next time.

Reina looked to Michiko’s sword out of the corner of her open eye, lightly activating her quirk for a moment so it lifted to her and she could catch it by the handle. Letting go of Michiko, she took a small step back to hold the weapon out for her. The dark-haired girl then glanced around, assessing the situation. Kaida was being tended to by Roy, she seemed okay for the moment, though her previous cries worried Reina. A woman she recognized as Acion’s older sister was dealing with Hades at the moment--having a pro hero here was encouraging, but not a guarantee of success. And finally Takeshi was left to deal with the pack of wolves, which is where Reina’s mind seemed to linger.

Aurelia could handle herself for now, the girl reasoned.

“Takeshi,” she said simply for Michiko to hear, communicating her intentions as quickly as possible before she stepped onto her injured foot again towards the boy.

As soon as she said Takeshi, Michiko looked over to her brother, ignoring the sword being handed to her as her eyes widened in terror. All the wolves left their previous targets, the first one holding Takeshi’s sword arm, the second knocking him down onto his back, and quickly the rest were following. Depsite this, Takeshi was still putting up a fight, ripping wolfs off of him and slamming them into others. Using the shadows around him to create rods that shot out of the ground, knocking a few away. They could hear Roy calling out that he was being overwhelmed. During this, Takeshi managed to look over to Reina and Michiko, the panicked look in his eyes. “RUN!” Was all he could muster. Before he was swallowed in the darkness.

Michiko knew what was happening, she knew what hades did with his quirk. She reached out, but that was all her body could do as she screamed Takeshi’s name as they all could hear a bloody scream coming from the darkness. She closed her for a moment, and a second later, she fell...passed out cold. The fear of losing her brother too much for her to bear.

There was silence after Takeshi’s scream, tearing of clothes could be heard and blood sprayed the two girls as an arm was thrown from the feeding frenzy and landed in front of them. It was over in an instant. Unnaturally fast.

A panicked Takeshi was not a sight Reina had ever seen before, and it gave her enough pause that what happened next occurred while she hesitated.

Reina knew what was going on around her, but at same time it felt like she could neither see nor hear anything. Michiko crying her brother’s name, before falling unconscious. Reina found herself catching the girl with her injured arm and fell to a knee. Takeshi’s scream was registered in her mind, and finally the severed arm.

The girl was no longer in her own mind. She knew how she should’ve been reacting to everything--how a normal person would react. But nothing was affecting her in the moment. It was all just information. Her desires--her fight or flight, her fear for Takeshi’s life… it was all so overwhelmingly powerful that it instead became the opposite, numbing her rampaging emotions, like when she left her hands under water so hot it instead felt painfully cold to her touch.

There was no thinking to be done. Her quirk was already violently pushing out against her surroundings as she gripped tightly to Michiko.

One of the seven orbs that orbited her crossed in front of her vision. Those little, worthless annoyances, that never wished to follow her commands. Her gaze locked on it, and it expanded suddenly.

A foot wide in diameter now, it obeyed.

Base level instincts drove the girl. Reina willed the orb to shoot forward through the air, and it did, rising to be hanging above the cloud that enveloped Takeshi.

Reina wanted that cloud gone from existence.

She activated the orb’s pull, making sure it only affected herself. She was dragged up towards it, never loosening her hold on Michiko despite her damaged arm. The girl would be safest at the epicenter. Reina didn’t even have time to consider the rest of her friends--if Takeshi was even still alive, he wouldn’t be for much longer.

The girl felt her shoulder make contact with the activated orb, and did not hesitate. She cranked both her own gravitational pull and the orb’s to the strongest she could muster. Alley walls cracked and groaned. A second later, she reversed the forces of both effects, pushing violently, disabling the orb’s effect over her to prevent herself from also being blown away.

No longer being pulled by the orb, Reina and Michiko hung in the air and fell for a second, before Reina once again reversed her quirk.

This time, the walls around them collapsed in.

The dark-haired girl couldn’t feel any of the pain from her injuries or exertion, let alone the tears that streamed down her bloodied face. If she was yelling herself, it was difficult to hear over the noise of two buildings falling down on each other.

She looked down at the cloud of darkness, finding herself lowering the orb that was pressed against her back, causing her feet to dip into the black.

The girl was tired, she finally noticed. She couldn’t quit yet, though. At the very least, she could keep Michiko safe from the falling tonnes of brick. If she could get to Takeshi, she could keep him safe too. The rest of her friends would be having to take care of themselves…

Guilt and regret stabbed through her, hurting far more than any of the physical wounds she carried.

”I’m sorry.”

As the walls began to crumble, it caused everyone to temperallity lose focus and watch out for falling buildings. As if the very walls were apart of a spell, the fog suddenly seemed to lift, slowly but noticeable. As for the darkness that surrounded Takeshi, it instantly lifted. All Riena would see now is bloody concrete, and a shreds of Takeshi’s trench coat. The only proof that there was a body there was the blood and his severed arm.

Rakasha made his way over to Michiko and the small dark haired girl knowing his brother could handle the sparrow hero. When she suddenly floated into the sky, the gravity went berserk around them, pulling him off his feet towards her. Quite surprised at the power of this little girl, but not enough to allow two tentacle shadows to shot from his back and pierced the ground. Pulling back down and to his knees as he braced himself for the different waves that pushed and pulled till he was steady enough to get back to his feet, the two tentacles still anchoring him to the ground.

He watched the girl as she was holding onto Michiko and was about to put herself into danger going into the darkness for his little brother… His head cocked to the side as he was surprised that the girl cared for Takeshi that much. Was this perhaps Takeshi’s little girl friend? He had intell that he and this girl were spending time together training. It was odd, when Takeshi knew who he was to be married to...and they happened to be in the same class still. Yet he spent time with this one.

No matter. He walked forward a few more steps, each of his tethers moving one at a time to keep him from flying away. “Hand over Michiko, and i'll let you live. I do lothe killing little girls, but I will if you resist any more.” He said calmly as he pulled his sword from its sheath.

Reina’s eyes widened as she landed softly onto her knees on the blood-stained concrete.

“T-Takeshi…”

Eaten alive by wolves. The girl’s stomach dropped, feeling sick, though nothing came of it. Nothing had hit fully yet. Not the pain, not the exhaustion, not Takeshi’s apparent death.

She glanced down at Michiko, stabbed by another pang of crushing guilt. Reina fought for air as her quirk pushed, keeping the falling brick off of her, Michiko, and what remained of Takeshi. Finally, the noise from the collapsing walls stopped, the relative silence replacing it relieving.

The girl glanced over her shoulder, eyeing a figure she hadn’t previously seen with her open eye.

She found herself laughing in contempt at his words. Threatening to kill her? As if that was even a concern of her’s anymore.

The girl looked at the man, gaze weak and exhausted at first glance, though it hid seething fury.

She wanted to kill him. She wanted to kill him and the wolf villain, and she wanted to do it with her own hands.

But… Michiko was more important than trying something so suicidal.

Without even humouring the thought of verbally responding to the villain, Reina moved her active orb directly above her head, pulling herself up, while she shoved out with her own gravitational field. Debris around her was shot away, some of it towards Rakasha while she and Michiko were lifted fast into the air, orb bringing them towards the unstable, half-wrecked roof of one of the buildings she had pulled a wall off of.

Rakasha sighed irritably as the girl just looked at him. He could see the fury in her eyes. She wasn’t going to give up Michiko. A second later, she proved it by starting to float away now. His eyes shot to the debris that lifted as well, He ducked and weaved at a few that got to close, but there was a bigger one that came directly at him, that couldn’t be dodged with him tethered to the ground. At that moment though, two more tentacles shot out from his back and knocked the large brick debri to the side with incredible force. He looked back up to Riena as she headed towards the roof of one of the buildings.

The two new tentacles reached out and slammed into the remaining wall on the very building she was moving to. He then lifted himself up with those tentacles and released his first two from the ground. He looked like he was floating up as well if it wasn’t for the physical manifestation of shadows acting like legs. He quickly moved up towards the girl, using his arms to push him closer he got close enough to swing his sword, trying to cut her head off.

Reina kept her eye on the villain, not at all surprised when he used his quirk to scale the buildings and follow her. His quirk had something to do with darkness, like Takeshi and the wolf-mask, his in particular making tentacle like objects he could control.

He moved faster than she was expecting, forcing her to react more quickly than she would have thought possible-- she suddenly increased her orb’s pull on her and moved it off to the side over the roof, dragging her fast in that direction. Even that wasn’t quite enough though, so the girl pushed hard with her own gravity, doing what she could to slow and throw off the swing, tossing her already ruined left arm in front of her head for protection. The blade cut into her arm, but at the point the pain was negligible--far better than even risking the chance of her neck taking the blow.

The girl landed hard on the roof, skidding roughly as she did her best to protect Michiko from any damage. She used her orb to stand herself up quickly, heaving for air after the slight winding she had suffered in the dodge.

Reina paused for only the briefest moment to think her options over. As long as she was fighting to keep Michiko from the villain, all she could hope to do was play keepaway and survive as long as possible, to give others the chance to help her. They were in the middle of the city, and the bus crash had happened what felt like an eternity ago now, so there were bound to be pros on the way.

The problem was she knew she was losing fine control over her quirk. She could not keep it zeroed anymore, instead feeling it bounce from slightly pulling, to slightly pushing. Same thing with her orb’s gravity. Trying to pull and push herself around the city when she didn’t have exact control over her quirk could easily end with her falling to her death.

Staying and fighting against someone like this, at such a disadvantage, wasn’t a great option either.

Ah well, when no choice was a good one, what did the choice really matter. She’d keep Michiko from this man’s hands, even if she had to die for it.

Her orb hovered to touch the roof by her feet, and with it she pushed as hard as she could again, causing the already damaged integrity of the stone to give way in a hundred pieces, forced to collapse on the floor below.

Reina grinned against the pain--she was beginning to really feel it now.

Push through for her.

As the ground beneath her crumbled way and she fell, she pulled all the rubble towards her with her orb’s gravity, while pushing away with her own--creating a cocoon of debris around her and Michiko.

The girl let out a roar as her body doubled over into itself, gripping Michiko even more tightly. She pushed with her gravity, and mentally launched her orb forward towards Rakasha at the same time, forcing its gravity to pull with all the strength she had.

The attack that resulted was the cocoon exploding away from Reina, immediately being affected by the orb’s pull, causing the mass of debris to shoot forward after the orb, barrelling down on it’s target.

“You aren’t laying a finger on Michiko!” the girl’s broken voice screamed.

Rubbing his eyes one more time to get the crusties out of the corners of them he shrugged when she said sorry that she woke him. Not having a chance to answer when she looked like she was going to speak again.

He listened to her, staring off infront of him, taking low deep breaths. He knew she wasn’t like other girls, not quick to say thank you, and putting up a cold demeanor all the time. But with her asking what was bothering him. Along with his headache, and the fact he was just thinking of haruka and her situation...just added onto his irritation on why he was even bothering with girls like them.

All Mina could see was perhaps his left eyebrow twitching as he had a very blank expression on his face before he seemed to snap out of it and said with a irritated sigh. “Now you want to talk?” He said while shaking his head.

He continued to look forward and said in a low voice. ”Yeah i’m fine. Thanks for asking.” He then looked at her ”I mean, I figured you would ask that earlier...instead of a week later.”

He let that hang in the air for a second before adding. “I honestly thought single handedly managing to get a bigger, stronger opponent away, while not being able to use my quirk, from you while you were hurt would get a thank you.”

He looked away, shocked at himself really for just being so blunt with her. But as much as he wanted to stop his mouth just continued. ”The last thing I hear from you though is some comment about me falling onto a girl, which was totally not my fault thank you. And then running back in and getting yourself beaten up even more. And even blinding kaida as she was trying to protect me from the same damn guy who hurt you. But I mean, at least you’re talking to me a week later. Better late than never…”

Well shit… he thought to himself. There goes that friendship. He sighed as he looked away and at the grass infront of them.

Takeshi took his eyes off Hade’s for a moment to look at Riena who he had heard yelling in pain before. Her arm bleading and Roy was already at her side helping. He looked back hearing Hade’s speak, saying how disappointed he was in him. He barely had time to raise his own blade to parry the first strike, taking a step back trying to prepare for the second. While he saw it, and managed to move his head so it was a glancing blow, it still jarred him back a few more steps. But he quickly shook his head and regained his footing, using his left hand to rubbed his jaw as Hades spoke once again, threatening to kill Michiko.

His eyes narrowed and he shifted back into his stance simply saying, “Sensei would never allow it. You wouldn’t dare go against his orders.” He knew he would kill the others without a second thought, and himself as well. A rush of adrenaline pumped through him, one that really never came since he left almost a year ago. While the fights in the academy were honest to say, insane for a public school. None of them had the true promise of death like this one would bring.

He lunged forward and delivered three fast attacks, from different directions each time. Each parried or blocked by Hades. After a counter attack from Hades that ended with a block from Takeshi, their faces close to each other. Takeshi could see the eyes through the slits of Hade’s mask and he said with a threatening tone. “You overestimate the situation… I never beat you before because I was always fighting you and your ‘pack” With that last comment he shoved the taller man back and redoubled his efforts into his attacks.

To those who were able to catch a glimpse of their fight could barely follow the swordplay. The two seemed to be evenly matching each other strikes and counters like they knew each other's next move. Another thing someone would notice was that Takeshi wasn’t fighting to defeat his opponent like a hero would...but rather his moves have all seemed to be aimed for killing blows. Not fighting at all like he had before at school. Takeshi’s goal was to distract Hade’s enough so he couldn’t add even more control over his wolves. But he knew he couldn’t hold back at all with this man, and despite his resentment to become more like he once was, he pushed forward. Slowly but surely, Takeshi began to push Hade’s back.

Michiko during this time, was busy with her wolf. While she had slashed it quite a few times, Hades had focused more energy into the two wolves going after her, So each time they would fall, they would instantly get back up again. She knew what Takeshi would tell her to do and that was to just Run away using her quirk, Despite the situation. However...that was with just them...not while they were with their friends!

She wasn’t like the others though… she was a decent fighter...but she never focused on it like the others did. She got winded far sooner than the others would have, and despite her best efforts, she got pinned down by one of the wolves, it biting her shoulder. However, it just held her there instead of going for a killing bite.

Jett's eyes slowly opened, taking in a deep breath as his body began to move around slightly to stretch. He was clearly confused for a moment, as his dream slowly faded away and mixed with reality. He looked up at Mina for a bit, Surprised that she was the one waking him up. He looked around and and sat up more against the tree. He was silent for a moment, glad that Mina was here...but suddenly everything clicked with what happened in the past few days.

He shook his head, and took another deep breath/yawn and said softly, "Yeah... I guess I did." He reached back and rubbed the back of his head and neck. Closing his eyes as he did, Hoping that just a simple pop of his neck would relieve the pressure in his head...but to no avail.

He looked back at her, annoyed slightly. After what happened a few days ago in the exercise, with her getting back into the fight even when she was way too hurt...despite what he did to help her. She had yet to say thank you...she knew how beat up he was when he fought Amane, they all watched the video afterwards. But then Kaida explained that she was blinded by Kadia when she was trying to fight Amane, and protect him.

Despite all this he bit his tongue and simply asked. What's up? Wondering if she was trying to talk to him for a reason.

Jett was sick of his room so he decided to go outside for a bit and get some fresh air under a tree. His head still was hurting and he didn’t really understand why, after being healed by the nurse he yet was able to teleport and still had a constant migrane.

He made his way to what seemed like a sucluded spot and sat in the grass under a tree. He had his headphones on and listened to some calming piano music as he tried to ‘relearn’ his quirk. Music had helped him greatly before, thanks to Haruka’s help.

Taking a few long and deep breaths he tried to focus. Closing his eyes and enjoying the warmth of the sun on his face. Rolling up the sleeves of his casual buttondown shirt loosely he rested his elbows on his knees as he leaned against the tree. As much as he tried to focus, his thoughts had turned to Haruka, feeling the necklace on his chest and doing an exercise that she suggested, it was hard not to think about her, and alll the things that happened a few days before. Finding out that she lost her leg, losing her dream, not being able to become a hero with him.

Not long after he was thinking thise thoughts they all seemed to blurr together and he wouldn’t realize that he had fallen asleep.

Jais Looked at Mina and shrugged. A Few things actually if you really look. They don't all revolve around the fight. But your actions and decisions you made leading up to it is something to look at. Perhaps finding something that would have been helpful to use against an armored foe. But most importantly I think is the ability to understand failure. This is your first real loss I'm sure... and there will be others. There will always be a stronger or more dangerous opponent in the future that you will lose many battles with. But its what you do about it that will help you achieve the final victory of the war.

He crouched down so he was eye level with Mina. Though his eyes seemed to just look through hers. We all have our weaknesses, while you are ahead of the curve...you must find out for yourself what you still need to work on. A true hero realizes this, and continually tries to better him/herself. I still learn myself at my old age..." He said with a chuckle...hoping she realized why he is saying this.

I can't give you the answers, but I will be more than happy to help you find them. He raised his hand and patted her head gently.

Adriane didn't move an inch as the taller girl tried to intimidate her. She just stood there, with her arms crossed and bit her tongue. She listened, and grew irritated at the girls outlook of the world. But she took a deep long breath before shaking her head. You just do not understand. Your mother did not hold back at all. Sure she couldn't defeat that swordsman, You think she made the 'weak choice' by holding back and dying? She did what any real mother would and protect her child. Even if that meant her own death. She was a True hero at the end.

She paused for a moment. Her eyes never leaving the girls. You spit on her memory by not living up to be half the woman she was, for what she stood for. Yes what that boy did was uncalled for, and as much as I hate him for what he did to my son and Mina, or what he was planning, I still don't think he should get a bullet in the head. Because yes, YOU ARE CHILDREN. You are here to LEARN. Taking steps to be ready for the outside world. You have Four years to do that. You don't need to go all out from the get go. And CERTAINTLY Don't need to be killing other students. I don't give a shit about your reasoning for what that boy did. You are Wrong for going for the headshot. You want to live with the consequences for that? You can go to prison if you like for attempted murder. See how that fits into your plan for 'revenge'

As the wolves of Hades creation launched at them, he stayed near Michiko and Kaida. He was ready for the sudden attack. He didn’t even both gracing Hades with a reply as he moved forward and slashed with with a single blow, cutting throw one. He had noticed the other was trying to flank him as much as he could in the alley, but turned his attention to the two coming at his sister, pulling his gun with a swift motion, he barely aimed before squeezing the trigger three times. All three shots hitting center mass of the creature.

He then turned back to his second one and raised his arm, the wolves maw was aimed at his throat, but got his forearm instead. The force and weight of the creature knocked Takeshi down and they both rolled a few times before Takeshi managed to slice his blade into the belly of the beast.

Michiko was glad Takeshi shot the second one, she was skilled with a blade, but not as nearly as he. She couldn't take on two of them, but she knew she could handle one. She raised her blade horizontally and lowered her stance, enough to give her enough strength to withstand the force behind this wolf attack.

She wrestled with the wolf for a moment, as its jaws were now clenched around her blade. She tried twisting it back and forth, nearly losing it as the wolf Jerked his head back just like a dog would in a tug of war. She Knew she couldn’t rip her sword out so she used her right knee and gave the wolf a quick hard knee in the chin. Giving her enough time after he released it to cut off it’s head.

She looked over to Takeshi Just as he sliced the belly of the second beast and turned his attention to Hades, Without hesitating he raised his gun and fired three more shots at the older one.

The group was in the shop for a short time, only time to really glance at the menu after settling down. The shop was full and so busy that they would have to wait a minute to even give their order. While Michiko was busy showing Kaida the top 20 favorite Ramen on her list, Takeshi was quiet. He normally kept to himself, but in all honesty he had never been with friends out for food. He was unsure what to say or even do, so he sat visually uncomfortable in his situation, just because he didn’t really know what to do or say, So he just watched Michiko and Kaida as she was engrossed with the list and possible choices for her first bowl of Ramen.

He looked to Reina and was trying to think of what to say to start a conversation...which was odd as he spoke to her many times while training with her...but this was different. He didn’t have much time to think as suddenly from the front of the store there was screaming then an earth shattering crash as the glass and front of the store exploded from a Bus slamming sideways into the building, blocking the exit and causing massive amounts of dust to cover the restaurant. The force was enough to send the group flying to the floor, catching everyone off guard.

By the time they would get up, other customers were screaming and scrambling to get to their feet. Surprisingly, none of them were seriously injured. But What was scaring them was the fact the bus was now somehow on fire, and quickly. The store owner was calling out to everyone to exit the back of the building to get away from the smoke which was quickly filling the room.

Takeshi looked to the bus, but didn’t see much from the fire billowing out from the windows. He froze when he saw a single silhouette that seemed to be staring at him from within the bus. But as quickly as he saw it, it vanished.

The owner then forced them to exit out the back as well, as they were the last of the group inside the restaurant. Only to find themselves in a darkened alley filled with heavy smoke...Despite the ramen shop being full, not a single customer was in the alley, except for one silhouette at one end.

This commotion was far west from where Acion and Aurellia were searching...opposite of their view.

Jais Looked at Mina silently for a bit. He glanced over as he heard another girl speaking. It was quite rude of her to jump into their conversation, and had an already he had an issue with the girl with her view point. Yet again another flawed view. One that will hurt more students than ever needs be. But onto a more urgent issue... As he noticed how Mina was standing, and seeing with his ears the fact that she was crying and angry.

He folded his hands behind his back and waited till he found the right words, after thinking about what had happened to her and how hard she pushed herself up to this point. He's seen this many many times with past students, his own son, and grandson. "So I've been noticing you have been failing...a lot lately." He said calmly and with a relaxed look on his face. He let that sink in for a moment, waiting to see her reaction for a moment before adding. You are also failing at failing... He said in what sounded almost amused.

Surely this would confuse the girl, as it did with everyone he used that phrase on. But he loved to see the reactions and seeing their minds try to make sense of what he said. "Failing is an integral part of success. Small, or Big. All of them are experienced by every successful person, including myself. " He said calmly, tapping his cane once or twice during so he could continue seeing her reaction. It is ok to feel anger though, its inevitable. But allowing it control you is why you are failing at failing.
Calm yourself, and look back at your recent failures...Know there will always be someone stronger than you, someone smarter, faster. You can let that failure remain a failure... or make that failure turn into a future success by learning from it and not allowing it to drag you down.

He tilted his head to the side. Jett didn't have full control of his quirk till he was around 10. He would suddenly teleport for no reason multiple times a day. Despite his mother working with him every day, Jett was a failure for the longest time. But he realized his weakness... while trying to make it better, he looked to other things that would help him become a hero that didn't rely on his quirk.
Not just fighting, but he expanded his knowledge to random things...
He sighed "Like hot wiring a car, or using a chain to knock out power to the building. Or using bleach to escape from Yukari. He learned all these things because he knew his quirk wasn't reliable all the time, or that he would fight people with quirks that he couldn't counter. His fight with Amane, He was fighting a larger opponent, with out his quirk, just to get him away from you. Yet he did a fair job because he learned from past failures in fights at school."

He placed a hand ontop of Mina's head and finally finished, "The point i'm trying to say, is it's OK to fail. As long as you Learn from it, and see it as a springboard to success. You will become an even better hero.

Adriane shrugged her shoulders. Could have fooled me with the lasers and the full force round house punches. She said sarcastically to her when she said she wasn't fighting in Ernest. But before she could add more, another student butted into their conversation. She gave a cold glare even worse than she gave Mina,

To spar is to hold back, to not seriously hurt your partner...its also known as 'practice' God what are they teaching kids these days. What you described as 'training' is a fight, or Duel. Which is required to have a teacher present to make sure things go to far.

She waved her hand with rapid motions before adding "Now get out of here, I need to have a word with Dulga in private. She said with an irritated voice. She then took Dulga by the arm gently and pulled her along away from the awkward girl. "I was asked to come back to talk to you about your attempted head shot in the last exercise. She said in a quiet tone, so the other girl would not hear them, as it this was a private matter. You should have never of done that. NEVER go for a kill shot, even if it is a rubber bullet. That is only for last choice scenario's that never occur in training."

She stopped and looked up at dulga in the eyes. "Your mother never went for the kill, she never really liked even using a gun, and tried to make her shots less lethal as possible...hence her trick shots."

Adriane Haven Jais Haven

Adriane eyed both the girls with her left brow raised. Mina looked pitiful and Dulga seemed to snap out of it, But she knew the girl was about to deliver a full on punch with her strength. Yet she only apologized for antagonizing the other girl. She seemed to ignore Dulga for a moment when she asked if they could stand up. trying to cover her face which only made Adriane narrow her eyes.

Sighing irritably. "I Suppose... She said, uncrossing her legs and slamming her feet down, standing up. which wasn't much as she stood at 5'2". She then reached out both hands to the girls to help them up. While Looking at Dulga. despite looking like your mother... you sure don't act like her. Put your hands down already will ya? Its awkward to see a strong girl like yourself worried about some burns.

"Not everyone wears each scar like a badge of Honor like you Adriane... Jais said more sympathetically.

Yeah yeah what ever. she said waving her arms in a dismissing action.

"Anyways, Training is fine and dandy. But that wasn't training...that was being stupid. Tell me if I'm wrong...but using your quirk to actually harm your sparing opponent makes it a fight and not a spar anymore correct? She gave a pointed Glare, that despite her size actually looked genuinely threatening. But she looked doubly at Mina. Even though Dulga received the same look.

After they would try and say something or nothing, Jais motioned towards Mina and beckoned her over. Perhaps we should talk separately, Miss Kaskue, if you would follow me over here please. He said motioning towards the far corner of the room.
