History:
Mystique is the middle child of 5 children. Her parents were farmers and had very little money which meant that their home was very small. Her older brother and sister were able to do anything they wanted to do because they were the eldest- her brother even had the small cabin behind the house. Her younger brother and sister were in school and always needed something or so they say. They were given what they 'needed'.
When Mystique was 10, her father spoke of how the the crops needed some rain, Mystique 'wished' for the rain that her father thought the crops needed. Surprisingly Mystique never told anyone about her wishes.
One fall her father hurt his back in an accident and her mother had to take care of him. Her older brother was pulled out of school to do the farm work and Mystique was pulled out of the school so that she could take care of the house and get the younger two off to school. Her elder sister was studying to be a teacher and was left alone. Mystique felt resentful against her older sister and her younger siblings who hated school to the point where they were finding ways of not doing their homework.
As time went on, her father never recovered, her older sister became a teacher and the younger ones had began to skip school, Mystique was blamed for all of the problems. Mystique was miserable for her wishes never came true again.
One day she became angry and she argued back to her mother. While they argued, Mystique was so angry that storm clouds formed into the kitchen. Her mother and Mystique were totally surprised. Mystique shooed the clouds out of the room and her mother never spoke to her again.
Mystique finally decided to leave home. The best day would be when she was to do the shopping. Her parents gave her the money and the list the night before since they didn't get up very early. And she would drop off her younger brother and sister at school on her way to the store.
The night before she was to go shopping, Mystique packed a large suitcase with her clothes and most prized possessions in it which happened to be her books and a doll with a few clothes. After dropping it down from the attic bedroom, she went outside to hide it in the cart.
The next day Mystique drove the horse and cart to town, dropping the younger two off at the school. She then left with the horse and cart to where they would be safe. Mystique then walked out of the village. She did not know where she was heading but she knew that she was now on her own.
As Mystique traveled, she learned that there was a school that she wanted to go to and hopefully she could get help with her 'problems'.
Personality: Mystique is a happy girl that loves to help others when she could. She does not have any friends because of what happened at home and now she is shy around new people. She will trust people until they do something wrong. After that the person will have to earn her friendship.
Ability(ies): Weather Manipulator
Downside(s): If Mystique is extremely happy, the weather can be very hot or if she is angry, it could literally storm inside a building because her feelings are part of her ability.
Affinity: Mystique is usually with humans unless someone does something wrong in her eyes.
