I am a widow as of June 6, 2022. I was married for 40 great and not so great years as well as many wonderful years. RIP My Sir.
I have no live muse (Sir was my muse upon which I bounced many ideas off of and he even named a few creatures and potions for me when I ran out of ideas.
I have started back to RPing after 4 sad years. Perhaps with the help of Role Plays, I can find some joy in life again.

One could hire a guard. Have you looked at the map I posted? You will be traveling out of the town for the quests. It will have all of the details when I post it. I like the idea of anyone posting a quest.

The final Map has 10 places where you will encounter an 'incident' and it may be good or bad. I am trying to think of more things for these 'incidents'. What else does anyone have to add to the list.
What are your ideas and yes you are right. You go to Zane's Tavern and read the bulletin board. Decide which quest you want then tell Zane.
It would be based on your job. Sorry it took so long but I am in the hospital with my daughter who just had a baby. Just ordered breakfast.

I haven't gotten to far into that but thanks for suggestion. Any other mishaps? Or any good things that can happen? I also have to make up a list of items that you may buy. I will give you some money to buy what you want to take. You start out with the clothes on your back.
You will be given some money to buy what you need for your trip. You will be given a map of the area where your quest will be found in and what item you will need to find or do. You may ask questions before you leave. You can not contact Zane unless you travel back to the tavern. Once you leave you might run into trouble or have some kind of a reward depending on your choice of your route. I will have the numbers on the map and when you have arrive at one of the numbers, you will be told what has happened. You will have to find a way out of the situation. Each set of quests will have a higher reward than the ones before since it will take place further from Zane's and may be harder to accomplish.
