I am sorry that you had so little for so long but why didn't you try to do something with your sorcery? Or is it still impossible to turn something into gold in alchemy?"

"Really? Perhaps you feel like I was spoiled? Being the only one who did not have after school activities and I had to keep out of trouble and to stay inside meant that while the other three had their special events to go to, I had to stay home. These were my friends from the time I was 6 until I was in college. Even the people we stayed with had after school events that I did not get to go to because it cost too much money. I was not allowed to even get a job.
Perhaps I should just find a way home where I understand things better." Mystique spoke softly as she picked up two of her suitcases and headed up the stairs.

"And so they are there! Three suitcases, five boxes of books, my baby doll and clothes, pictures, and my inheritance are in these last five boxes. I don't know what is in them so just put them in my room and I'll go through them. Oh look, loan! My box of board games and my science stuff. My orrey would be in there! As far as I can remember this is all that I have left of my past life. Not much but each box means something to me."

"Wonderful! It was a small storage unit so as you probably saw there is very little there. More books than anything and my doll with her clothes. Several suitcases of clothes and a box of old photographs. But yes, I'd like to double check and make sure that all of it has arrived. Thanks loan."

"Perhaps so. All that I need are a couple decent pantsuits, good supporting shoes, my camera and case and some kind of a jacket to ward off rain and cold. All of those I already have in my storage unit. Not that it does me any good here. I start on Monday for a trial period. How am I to get my stuff here so quickly?"

Most of it will go to the bank.... which I need to set up one of these days. I'm going to call and find out about the photographer position." Mystique smiled then walked to a chair where she talked to a person and took notes.
