Amodavia took her time in eating for she was the type to enjoy her food. She did take a pitcher of hot mead to the classroom.

"Please allow me to introduce myself. I am a Wizardess who will be running the Academy of Draconic Arts. I am also studying for my Sorceress title and plan on going on for my Mage title. This Academy, The Inn and The Store is mine during my lifetime. The ownership and the burdens that evolve with them are mine as well as the joys. This is not always a fun job. It has great many responsibilities and work involved running them successfully." Amodavia spoke quietly.
"My name is Wizardess Mentor Amodavia. You use any of those names or titles when referring to me."

In my world, it is a special book that has personal information inside it. It might be secrets of one's heart or knowledge of things that one has found out. It could be spells, secret language, or any other thing that is important to the owner.

Also, in my world the grimoires are able to be spelled meaning that depending on the spell or spell set, if someone other the owner tries to open it or sometimes even touch it, the grimoire will react accordingly.

The owner can place grimoire creatures inside to help the owner. More on that later.

Amodavia smiled and spoke
"You are forgiven. Let it be a lesson to you. Be sure of who you are talking to. If you survive the Academy you could become a mediator. But I would like to eat and the buffet smells really good. I suggest that you load up with food as well. You may take a drink other than beers, ales, stouts or other strong liquor into the meeting.

I do have a surprise for you in there should you stay in the village for the winter.

Amodavia checked what was in the boxes and she was surprised and quite unprepared for taking care of 6 eggs. She wonders what to do with them. She scanned the letter briefly and smiled. This was a blessing in disguise from Gaia. She now took out the envelopes and stacked them in front of her. Ink jars, quill pens and a complete desk set would go to each person who would spend the winter with her.


Hunger pains made her go eat breakfast and she would finish afterwards. There was always a good display of food at the buffet. And she could eat her fill.

Amodavia was awaken earlier than she wanted or expected. After the night watchman told her that there was several packages just arrived. She simply thanked and told the night watchman to place the things in the Meeting Room. She would be down shortly.

The day was going to be a long day and a lot of work on her part so she put on her Dragon Rider's Uniform. She quickly went down stairs and to the Meeting Room.
