I'm glad you like it! I'll see about writing a proper sheet for him some time tomorrow, but that's the general gist I'm going for with my guy-- a happy-go-lucky frog.

Something like this!
Are we allowed to use hand-drawn pictures for our character? I'm a bit of a traditional artist myself.
Interesting. I don't usually play fandom games, but I'm intrigued to give this a shot.
Hello! I consider myself a semi-casual RPer, 30s. I don't really have experience on a dedicated RP forum like this, it's mostly the TV Tropes forums tbh but I'm eager to get my start. I love fantasy, especially high fantasy. I'm open to either group or 1x1 games. I tend to like more light-hearted and adventurous stories, the kind of games with heroic heroes battling villainous villains. I do not use AI, and I do not like torture or anguish. I can do a paragraph or two if need be, and I'm an avid roleplayer though I do like the occasional bit of combat as well. Let me know if you'd like to maybe RP something. Romance is fine if there's the chemistry, but let's please fade to black.
My favorite characters I've ever had are for a game on another forum. The setting takes place in a sleepy suburban American town where pretty much everything unusual happens, the "Nowhere, Kansas" of New England essentially. There are so many oddities in town that this woman decided to convert an old office building into a high school for kids with oddities, called Oddity High. I have two students in that game.

The first is a boy named Gill. He's tall, he's pale, he's handsome, has red hair, and unnaturally grey eyes. a merman; in this setting, mermen and mermaids are beautiful, have hypnotic singing voices, can communicate with sea life, and cannot transform between legs and a tail. He was raised by parents who feared humanity and never wanted Gill to interact with humans. However, when he was six years old, they went out for a hunt and never came back. Gill was left alone in the ocean, longing for companionship, and he never saw another merman or mermaid again. When he turned 16, his longing became insatiable and he found a deep witch (a mysterious spirit being that resembles a jellyfish) who gave him the ability to grow legs and go onto land when he left the water, in exchange for "the color in his eyes". He accepted and not only did his eyes turn grey, but he's now colorblind-- he can only see in black and white, making it so he can't really appreciate the sights that the human world has to offer. Despite this, he's chipper and social, if rather naive due to his lack of knowledge of the human world. He ended up befriending a socially awkward, grumpy girl with the ability to shoot fire from her hands, and they ended up dating.

The second is a girl named Jackie, raised in a fundamentalist household. She's short, with a modest figure and brunette hair in a bob. She was inspired by the Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. As a little girl she was basically Mommy's Little Girl, dedicating herself to her parents, her schooling, and to God. But as she grew older, she found herself wanting to live her own life, but her domineering mother wouldn't let her. At some point, somehow, the defiant and rebellious parts of herself was shunted into a separate individual that she transforms to and from at random. This second personality became known as Heidi. When she transforms into Heidi, she grows taller, her figure fills out and becomes more curvaceous, her hair turns long and blonde, and her personality takes a radical shift. Heidi is rebellious, adventurous, flirtatious, swears like a sailor, disdains authority and refuses to compromise on anything. Her mother believed she had been possessed by a demon and tried to have her exorcised, which didn't work. Her base "Jackie" identity doubled down on being the responsible girl that always did what she was told, essentially being nothing but the filter that Heidi doesn't have. Jackie doesn't want anything for herself; Heidi ONLY cares about herself. Her mother enrolled her in Oddity High in the hopes that they could find a "cure" for her (read: get rid of Heidi and leave only the obedient Jackie self). Despite her best efforts, there is no sign of a cure, and indeed, Jackie is beginning to learn not to constantly follow orders and obey her parents unconditionally, learning to want things for herself. And Heidi is learning how to settle down and become a more caring person. She's currently ended up in a relationship with a girl (and is keeping it secret lest her bigoted mother have a conniption), a lesbian vampire also enrolled at the school who is nonetheless a total sweetheart. I hope those two learn to make it work.
Hello, all!

I go by AllHailThrall. I'm just a guy who loves roleplay, both TTRPG and play-by-post, and I'm eager to try my hand at a new site. Let me introduce myself.

I've been a roleplayer from a very young age, even before I really knew what roleplay was, acting out skits with my twin brother. My first exposure to actual roleplay was the Neopets forums back in the day, and a link from that site led to a Percy Jackson and the Olympians RP forum, where my love of fantasy and RP really took off. Soon afterwards I was consuming all manner of fantasy media, and got into things like World of Warcraft (which is where my username and icon come from, though I no longer actively play the MMORPG, I still love the setting). Nowadays, I mostly RP on the TV Tropes forums.

I got majorly into Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 shortly afterwards, my first real TTRPG, and it pretty much changed my life. I'm now an avid player of D&D, 5e now, and I've dabbled in multiple different TTRPGs over the years, the most recent as of late being Mage: the Awakening. I'm open to try new RPGs as well.

My favorite genre is fantasy, specifically an idealistic form of high fantasy with noble heroes taking down evil villains. I can do moral grey, but I prefer playing goody-good heroes when I can. I'm also a sucker for romance-- many of my characters either have love as a motivating factor or fall in love over the course of the RP. I'm equally at home doing group roleplays or one-on-one, and I enjoy engaging with the other players. I wouldn't say I write large paragraphs, but I definitely write more than a few sentences in my posts. I'm semi-casual. I'm an avid worldbuilder-- I'm very good at plotting out setting details. That said, simple games are great with me too. I enjoy high concept stories as well. Immersing myself in an interesting world is something important to me. I typically enjoy playing original settings if possible, though I have played in fandom RPs before.

When I'm not roleplaying, I typically enjoy older video games, as well as drawing, eating, watching Youtube, watching cartoons and movies, and listening to audiobooks. My favorite franchises are Dungeons and Dragons and Pokemon, and I was a major Nintendo fan growing up. My interests include mythology (especially Greek mythology), the ocean, astronomy, and paleontology.

I'm eager to get a chance to roleplay with you guys. I hope we'll have a lot of fun.
