I am AmongHeroes, and I'm happy you're here. I am an experienced roleplayer, writer, and fantastical creator.
♠ - I am an adult in my 30's. As such, I prefer to write with other adults.
♠ - Though I am capable of embodying many varied characters, in 1 x 1 settings I prefer writing as a heterosexual male with a generally dominant/masculine aura.
♠ - Genres I enjoy range from low & high fantasy, sci-fi, horror, gothic, romance, dark romance and noir.

Thuria is a relatively new parliamentary democracy, having originally been founded from a loose colony of privateers, pirates, and political outcasts in the early 1800's. Thurian's value individual freedom highly, and are distrusting of the accumulation of centralized power. While this lends itself well to an industrious spirit, and a strong bent of patriotism, involvement in foreign affairs is frowned upon. Thuria is a reluctant actor in The War, and their interest is generally limited to furthering their own station within the world, and nothing more.

Is this set in the "real" world, or one that is total fantasy, but mirrors ours?
You find yourself in the midst of the Arthurian legend. The Saxon invasion has been repulsed, and King Arthur quests with his Knights of the Round Table to retrieve the Holy Grail. Ruling in his place from the throne of Camelot, the sovereign king’s trusted friend, Sir Lancelot, works to stabilize Arthur’s claim across the realm, and defend it from the pockets of dissention and foreign resistance that still hide throughout the land.
Yet, the challenges faced by Sir Lancelot, and Arthur’s other sworn knights, will pale to the evil to come. For on the mysterious island of Avalon, a shocking discovery is found; one that will threaten not only King Arthur, but every free citizen of Britain…
Your characters are to be knights in the service of King Arthur, based in the lands around Camelot. While the Knights of the Round Table are off questing with their liege, it has fallen to you to defend the land, and pursue Arthur’s vision of a free and united Britain—regardless of where that evil rears its head.
Will your character be from a long established noble house? Or perhaps a newly knighted warrior who won his title through valor during the Saxon invasion? Whatever your knights’ history, the fate of the realm will fall upon their shoulders.

An Apology, and a Thank You
Hello to all of you wonderful writers. I'm posting this to say that I no longer have the free time available to continue this RP. I really and truly am sorry for that. Things outside of RPG are just taking too much time for me to devote any meaningful effort here, and I regret it deeply. I want to thank each and every one of you for your great characters, posts, and participation in Star Heresy. I have no doubt it was going to be great.
On that note, if any of you would like to continue on, you have my permission to use whatever you like from the original thread to do so; from artwork to storyline.

@Dondude Sorry I've been away, and unable to respond to this issue until now. I appreciate your effort with the post, but the absolute change in status for the 7-5, as well as the introduction of antagonists that affect every character in the RP is GM level writing.
At this point, the only opposition to the 7-5 is the Nym Demon team I wrote about earlier. They will come into play when I introduce them into our characters' reality. I'm sorry if I created any confusion, but this alteration was too much.

Good morning one and all. I know we have a couple people out with personal matters, but I'm curious if anyone is planning on posting soon?
My grandfather passed away. I'm not sure if I'm going to go dark for a few days or not, but I just wanted to give you a heads up in case I disappear for a few days.
