Current Ever had that moment were you've just lost a battle of wills with your dog and think to yourself, "maybe I should be the one sleeping on the floor"? I have. It's oddly liberating.

My Lit Lecturer used Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run to display the effect of narratology in class today. It's the first thing he's spoken about all term that I've actually read.

How good is the Punisher in Netflix's Daredevil series? "Just some guys who are about to walk into a diner for the last time." That line is so manly it could make a toddler sprout a beard.

The Justice League trailer is giving me mixed emotions. On the one hand, I desperately want to get hyped. On the other, Snyder and co have burnt me too many times in the past. I'm a conflicted mess.

What? The Lethal Weapon tv show isn't utter garbage at all, instead being an enjoyable watch. What the fuck is the world coming to?

@gamer5910 I'm sorry to say Gamer, but Inkblot isn't what I was looking for in the Outsiders. The idea just doesn't seem distinct from Rorschach for me. I can't accept him.
Hey. Well you have to have some level of disbelief with these RPs. Though the other part is it is easy to come up with a character and throw out some stat without needing much basis. I like to question things and wonder the what ifs.

The what if being here is that the entire team gets crushed to death under their own hair?

On a related note everyone t2wave has been accepted into the rp with their character Domini!
So im just reading through the last page IC and I'm wondering why everyone is not dead from 500Gs. Trained pilots are able to withstand 1G to 9G in a second without passing out. 500G would whiplash you so hard your brain would splatter on the side of your skull and the organs would not be in much better shape. And that's before you hit the wall. :D

I imagine it's mostly because we all suck at science and didn't know we should all be dead! (Or at least thats my excuse!)
Woh woh, I wasn't taking it as an attack, I was merely questioning the logic behind it

And I also explained the logic behind it.
As long as you don't call him Aguaman again, yeah.

It's because he's going to try out a more Iberian influenced spin.
Hey, Sam, when Question asks 'Miss Martin' to open a crevice in the Earth, I'm assuming you meant to say Miss Mountain and weren't talking to Cassandra? Because if you weren't, I'm beginning to doubt whether Question understands his teammates' powers XD

Yeah, my mistake. Sorted now. Honestly I'm surprised it's taken me that long to make it.

Though Q probably would throw out an order like that.

Q - "Kassandra, cause an earthquake!"

K - "That's not my power Question"

Q - "Don't question me Miss Martin, just show me results!"

1. There's still an issue with his appearance being to close to Rorschach's. When people think of Rorschach one of the first things that comes to mind is his iconic mask. It's an integral part of the character. He has both story and character reasons for having that mask, and his incredible dependency to it. It really doesn't make sense for Matt to have one, I mean why did the gang even have it in the first place? And even if there was a reason for them to be keeping this kitschy mask with the rest of their ill-gotten gains how did it let Matt know what he was supposed to do next?

2. So Matt single handedly beat a whole gang senseless, without any sort of formal training at all? I know this is a comic book based RP, and the premise is pretty fantastical to start with, but willing suspension of disbelief only goes so far. I'd get my head kicked in if I tried to fight that many guys at once, so why would Matt do any better than me? Another concern is he's been learning martial arts for less than a year. How has he apparently gotten so good in such a short space of time?

3. You say he got his alias because that's what most people describe what had happen when he showed up. What does that mean? How can an inkblot happen?

Mr Garrison doesn't seem to take undue insult from my cutting slights. Perhaps he really isn't as defensive of his hair, mother and father as he, and his red ring, would have us believe. More likely it is related to the fact that Supergirl has - quite wisely - decided to follow my instructions and taking the fight to the rage-fuelled youth. A Kryptonian fist to the face is no doubt a much more pressing issue than my inspired taunting.

I follow the battle at a safe distance, not so far that I can't see what is happening but not so close that I run a risk of being caught in the crossfire. Like Nelson at Waterloo really, commanding the battlefield from a distance. Only Toby Garrison is certainly not my Napoleon.

Miss Waller manages to strike our foe into the carpark, but it doesn't seem to keep him down. Starbolt and Miss Mountain each hit the Red Lantern, though the fiend clambers back to his feet each time to repay them in kind. I feel my frustration growing as I watch the battle. I told those cretins to support each other while avoiding a frontal attack, and instead they each take a turn in attacking the Red Lantern directly. Why does no one ever listen to me!? It's enough to drive a man to distraction, but at least they actually attacked when I ordered it. Armoury hasn't even done that much.

I am about to reissue orders to my unruly troops when a Ditto clone approaches me. I hide my distaste for the clone quite admirably, though I have to admit my mask does most of the work for me.

"Question! We need to contain this kid long enough to knock him out. I'm afraid the only way to disarm him also kills him in the process. It's not that I didn't have a plan, I just don't know how to tell this team of kids we may have to kill somebod... LOOK OUT!" Before I can respond the Ditto throws me from the path of an oncoming burst of red energy. Deduction; I have not picked a safe enough spot to observe the battle. Must rectify at nearest opportunity.

I shift postion's before considering what the Ditto clone has just told me. The only way to stop the lantern is to kill him, and Ditto knew this all along? And didn't tell the rest of the team? The negligence on his part is astounding! Not only did he withhold valuable tactical information from us - information which could have seen me concoct a more cohesive plan - but he has also shown complete disregard for the morals of his team. Did these 'kids', as he called them, not deserve to know the likely outcome of this fight? Did they not deserve to know that they would likely end a man's life today? I am becoming more disenchanted with Ditto's leadership by the second.

And why tell me? That, at least, is an answer easy in the coming. The Cargitte imagines me cold-hearted and logical. Of course he would assume that I would have few misgivings about killing a person if it meant saving another's life. After all, is that not what this will all boil down to. Simple arithmetic. Many lives out weighing one.

The worst part is I'm not certain that Ditto is wrong about me.

"Supergirl, Starbolt! Drive Toby towards the ground. Miss Mountain, prepare to open a small crevice in the earth. Once Toby is back on terrafirma close the crevice around his ankle, keep him from taking off again. Ditto, stand ready to physically subdue him. Leave the ring to me."

Am I ready to condemn a man to death? Yes. Yes I am. That may sound callous, and that's because it is. The oppressive truth is that there is very little in the way of alternatives. Other than letting one of my teammates commit the deed, there is nothing else to be done. I refuse to let one of them shoulder the burden. Their emotions would cloud the issue, if not now then further down the line. Taking a life is not an endeavor that children should embark upon, even children such as those in Young Justice.

Perhaps if Ditto had taken Kassandra's warnings more seriously, or if he had shared his information with me earlier, perhaps then I could have come up with a clever substitute plan. Real life is seldom as clean and clear cut as that though. People let you down, and tragedies ensue. Yes, I am sure I can kill Toby Garrison.

If it saves the city.
Well, I see what you mean. I think I'll go with what Wraith suggested if that's okay with you?

Yeah, that's fine! Honestly I preferred Wraith's suggestion, I was just trying to give you options.
May I join in?

Yeah, drop us a CS!

I don't really see how Twilight and Warpath messed up as badly as it has been stated by Fenrir and Thorn, both gave their team specific orders and tried to follow through with it. The problem was that not too many people posted.

Maybe they didn't Patriarch, but that's just how Fenrir and Thorn feels. That's the point of rping. You get in the shoes of another person, their likes and dislikes become your's, their triumph's your triumph's, their defeats yours. Thorn and Fenrir feel that Warpath and Twilight have failed, and they are both characters that voice their opinions.

However that only applies as far as the IC. Like you've been told before, just because a character says something negative about Warpath doesn't mean it's an attack against you. Vice versa I'm not going to take it personally if a character says something disrespectful about Fenrir. Fenrir might, but that only extends as far as the IC.

You are right when you say that not many people posted. As you've no doubt realized we have been unfortunate enough to have several drop-outs, the vast majority of those unexplained. I'm not any happier about it than anyone else - in fact it pisses me off no end - but it's not as if I could have forced them to post. It's just a peril we face RPing I'm afraid. All we can do is persevere, and continue trying to enjoy our RPing experience. If I was to cancel and restart every mission every time we had a drop out we'd honestly never get anything done IC.
