@Wade Wilson So is ur lust ability more of a pheromone thing or an empath thing? there was this character on mutant x who could make people lust after her by stinging them with these pincers under the skin of her wrist and she had pheromones she could exude from her neck.

And it depends on how his lust works. If he is directly controlling the mind like a very limited empath, then its just a branch of telepathy.
But if he is exuding pheromones from his body to induce lust, then it is pheromones. It just depends on how wade wilson wants it to work.
It's really hard to explain, but it does differ from others, even in a slight way. I'll post the nearly-completed CS up in a minute, once I've gotten all the formatting fixed.

Lust? Really? Thats a little...odd lol I personally wouldn't choose that considering we already have 2 empaths, 1 with power of persuasion, and 1 with music inducing trances. I think thats enough in the mind/emotion control department.

But Kinetic Manipulation Guy and Steel Skin(colossus) guy are both vying for the same position, I wonder what happens to the character that doesn't make the role. Is it edited to fit another available role?
You also said she can impress her emotions on others, if she's terrified a good response is to imprint that on whoever is coming for her. And yes, regarding upgrades I was imagining the wonder drug.
But manipulating, or simply sensing emotions is an incredibly potent ability, many people are driven by what they feel, if you know exactly what they feel then manipulation becomes more a science than an art.
Exactly. I think the reason why Empathy is such a popular power is because its subtle, but versatile and powerful. Since Empathy is also a telepathic-based ability, I imagine it would only really find some resistance when used against other people who have VERY STRONG WILLPOWER or mental-based abilities like August Montgomery, Leah Edmond(The other Empath), or Cleopatra Davidson. I question Lexis Montgomery because I assume her Persuasion is more of a vocal manipulation thing.
Also, empathic manipulation may not be effective against Jerome since his brain could potentially repair itself from an empathic push, since empathic manipulation would essentially manipulate certain chemicals in the brain to bring about a certain emotional effect.
