@Balmung1100 You do have good points. My character is kind of a "go with the flow if it suits her" type, so whichever way looks more interesting (or whichever group wants her weirdness in it, for OOC reasoning. I'll go with whichever group has less people.)

Sidine blinked her eyes a few times, startled at the sudden human interaction. She had barely noticed Hadaron until he spoke up, but now he had her full attention. She took his proffered hand, more out of reflex than actually thinking about it. When she rose to her feet she pushed her glasses up her nose, and realized that they were smudged so badly she couldn't actually see Hadaron's features. She took them off quickly, wiping them clean on her colorful tank top, and then placed them back on her freckled face.

“Ah yes, much better indeed! Quite astute of you to notice, I am looking for something. Or rather, some-mon.” She chuckled at her own lame joke before glancing around at the area she was in. “Where in the blazes are we, sir? I do not remember happening upon a town...” Her eyes caught sight of one of the many spinning wind turbines before she put a dirty finger to her chin. “Ah yes, Windshire! How fortuitous. I believe introductions are at hand, sir. I am Sidine Damon, you may call me Sid however. And this is Ramsey.” She pointed at her Venipede as he crawled up the side of her body and took his spot on her back, his head just peeking over her shoulder. She leaned forward, and put her hand to her mouth. “You should probably call him Sir Ramsey, though...” She whispered conspiratorially, even though Venipede could hear everything she said.

“What adventure brings you to Windshire, sir?”

My character thusfar. The history of the Pale Moors will be fleshed out more as time goes by. Basically, these are people meant to invent things above anything else, so though they will have interesting farms (terraced, growing many kinds of plants) but they will not be able to supply a large amount of food to the rest of Emperiat. Instead, they are meant to have things (plants, inventions, weapons, spices, books, etc.) other people may not have in small quantities. And probably very expensive, at that.

Elayne has the intellect of a Scholar, but the charisma of a politician. She was never one for fighting, and instead uses her wit to smooth her way. The Pale Moors, as many people call the province, lay on the southwestern border of Emperiat. The capital of this province, Paelsomr, is nestled just on the Great Rift, a monstrous valley that connects Emperiat and the Savage Lands.

Specialty:

Though they boast a commendable force of warriors, they by no means hold an army – instead, their specialties are in their ability to grow many different types of crops due to the climate of the Pale Moors, and in their well-learned scholars and libraries. They use strategy over force, and apply their knowledge to tilling the lands, and to making grand new inventions.

History:

The Pale Moors is a realm of odd, eclectic design. The majority of the land is filled with moors and terraced farms, while giant, sun-bleached mountains jut steeply out of the green landscape, dividing the border of Emperiat and the Savage Lands. Through out the history of the Pale Moors it has been tradition to sculpt these Pale Giants, as they call the mountains, in the likeness of the Grand Kings of Emperiat. In this way the people of the Pale Moors display their fealty to the crown.

The beginnings of this province differ in many historian's books, but one thing seems to hold true throughout: The people who reside here once belonged to the fierce Savage Lands, but they swore allegiance to Emperiat after losing a war. What happened after has been a debate for centuries. Some say that they had rebellions within their people, and those who defied the will of Emperiat were thrown back into the Savage Lands, and that is how their eternal struggle came forth. Others believe that only a select caste were allowed to become part of Emperiat, and the lower caste were left to fend for themselves in the Savage Lands.

Whatever the case may be, the people of the Pale Moors have been at constant war with those who reside in the Savage Lands. In recent years, the attacks from their vigilant foe have been getting increasingly more volatile and insistent.

Great news! I heard back from the chick playing Jess, and she just forgot about this rp!

So, since we've sort of written that she's gone from the camp, do you want to do some sort of story event where she's out somewhere else/in danger/not in danger, etc.? I know it's up to her as well, but we're kinda stuck until a decision is made. I suppose I could write we just run off to look for her?

@LHG100 It's alright, I'm just having trouble with situating the geography/specialties for it. I don't want it to be too much like any other province, because I feel like it's more interesting to have a variety.
