I'll join too. I can make a character fill a role. Rin though, you need to be more active this time around :P. Or was that the other person with a colorful sig that wasn't active in the last few RPs? I can't remember.

And I'd recommend opening the RP up for new people to join if it starts slowing down/people leave it. It is One Piece, so you can just pick the person up on the next isle or the current isle if need be.
I'm waiting on Shadolord to post myself.
Yeah, its a bit dark :P.
Welp, guess Light'll have to train herself to have more offensive powers or something. lol.

or 682 regen mixed in with her toon regen. lol.

Anyway yeah, what now?
Patel's attack was more force than what Light was used to from fighting strong beings, although she hadn't fought the spawn of c'thulu before. The blow had sent her sailing clear out of the HQ, into a few buildings, and landing her somewhere downtown where she had more or less passed out from the concussive force, birds and stars circling her head.

While Light was out, Patel had killed Cedric and was basically making a mess of the HQ. Light didn't even feel the tremor of the airfiled hitting the HQ below, and woke up a few moments afterwords after a passerby had woken her up by throwing water in her face. "How long was I out for?" Light said, rubbing her head. Thanking the person who had woken her up, she hole'd up to the tallest building nearby and made her way back to the HQ, only to see a massive crater of destruction.

"Well... guess we lost." Light said, Patel and his party having left the area. Light could hear sirens in the distance as the emergency vehicles came to take a look at what had happened. She herself went down into the rubble to search for survivors, her usual smile replaced with a frown of uncertainty.
Oh I'm totally fine with it being a mistake, that's how it felt during the initial reading. Togabito are strong, and automatically res/regenerate, so it makes plenty of sense that Light might have killed a shinigami on accident. I just had a sinking feeling for a moment that the recruit's death was going to be played off as completely unrelated to her when you mentioned the stair thing.

TL;DR I like the idea that she didn't understand how fragile 'normal' soul reapers are, and will be riffing off of that. If Kaede ever learns of Light's connection to the dead recruit, she will probably still hold her responsible for it, regardless of whether or not it was a mistake or accident.

Yeah, that makes total sense. Now lets just get to that point. lol.
Hm, trying to find out what to do with Light flying through buildings. Probably knocked out for a bit but I dunno how long. lol.
Hm, I feel it was vague, but well you can do whatchya want. The short and narrow of it is that Light didn't know a soul reaper would be so 'fragile' compared to what she is used to, so in the end it can be played as a mistake or something. Up to you to let me know what you wanna do.
So I had a thought, and figured I'd run it by everyone here before putting it into practice:

In Light's introduction post, it was implied she'd killed a rookie from the academy. I was thinking it'd be interesting if Kaede knew that 'newbie' and has a reason to hold a personal grudge. Whether or not the Gotei 13 (and Kaede herself) knows who the killer was doesn't matter so much; it could still be an unresolved incident, but it'd give something to build off of.

Eh, she was very vague about the whole thing in her inner monologue so it could be for any number of reasons. Plus she can just bring up the racism card and get lots of mileage out of that one.

I'm fine with it, but since I made it so vague, the situation could've been anything from Light did it to they tripped down some stairs and Light was there or something.
"Great, bloody great" Light said as what was going to be her snack was basically vaporized. Most of the soul reapers around the town weren't that good when it came to the bigger ones like the one she was just fighting. When they got knocked out, she'd often swoop in, beat the big one up, eat it, and go on her way. Most soul reapers at that point just assumed one of their buddies helped them out or something, since Light didn't care much for the loser of the fight anyway.

This was different, a strong soul reaper, which was rare for Light to deal with. Sure she tried the arm of one soul reaper, distinctly disliing the lack of a 'brimstone' taste she had gotten used to, so she wasn't too keen on having a bite. At the same time though, she was interested in why some soul reaper who took a large hollow down as eaisly as they did was here. Thankfully they referred to Light as a 'plus' so they weren't overly hostile right away.

And then another Soul Reaper came out of more or less nowhere pointing Light out and telling the newcommer to not be overly hostile towards her for the time being. "Bloody hell..." Light said with a sigh as her cover was blown in an instant. She'd at least give it a shot at talking with the soul reaper, maybe things would be different than the newbis, but she doubted it. She stepped out from behind the tree she was hiding behind, keeping her face in shadow as she waved a hello.
