I just tend to gravitate towards factionless characters. lol

Ditto xD. Let the RP dictate where they go.

I made those changes I said I would. Should I do more?
Idea. Eventually have an XCOM kind of arc. That would be fun xD.

Also Allen, why not bring your char up to Ed levels of strength? IE, can lift 10 tons, but can't really throw it very far, IE, 10 tons is struggling. But anything under 3 you can run around with. xD

I dunno, up to you. Too much marvel has me scewed on powerlevel.

At least Marvel doesn't have Superman. God WTF is DC doing with him making him Superboy Prime levels or even higher now.

Lifting an entire house is a lot. Since a house (Even the smallest ones) weighs hundreds of tons... Even my character who is dedicated to strength can't do that much. And how will she do it without it falling apart?

<Snipped quote by Archmage MC>

But, here's the thing; she's not Deadpool.

You can have comic relief characters, but they still have to make sense. And who says everything's going to be dark? It's going to be a realistic story, but with plenty of humor. I'll be mostly contributing with Jess.

1. Ah, ok. And a house the size of what Ed lifted was about 10 tons, being fully loaded and everything. But if your str. char can't even do that, then yeah thats way too much overkill xD. So 2 total work, injured over 1?

2. Oh, she'll be a wee bit silly, but more grounded. She wont be Deadpool random at all. I mean, I guess I can get the teleporter later on depending on tech paths or something. xD

Given her regeneration... maybe one ton should be enough. Though, you can mix both abilities together a bit more by saying that every time she uses her strength, she gets injured has to regenerate. Should be cool.

The thing is, you don't have to make a total emulation of Deadpool's abilities (Especially since 90% of what he does is a joke). The teleporter (and the satchel for that matter) seems tacked on to her power set (especially since you said she found it).

1. I was thinking of her SS being able to lift a one story suburban house, IE be about as strong as Ed, from Ed, Edd, n Eddy. I like that idea, so if she goes 1 tons or over she gets injured a little. (Deadpool can lift 2 tons and doesn't have SS.) (Ed lifting the house watchcartoononline.com/ed-edd-n-eddy-s.. 5:32)

2. I can remove the satchel if ya want, no prob. Teleporter though, thats how Deadpool got his. (Admittedly it was from Cable.) So it mirrors pretty well. And she will be a bit silly to bring levity. Everyone being dark dark brooding dark isn't fun, need some Harley or Deadpool to balance things out.
@Archmage MC I'm on my phone, so I'll have to be brief;

1). You NEED to describe her whole power. The name of the power ain't gonna cut it.

2). Magic doesn't exist in the setting so I don't know where she got a vaguely defined "magic satchel."

3). You should also cut the satchel and the teleporter since neither make sense.

4). Is her appearance the result of her power, or....?

1. Ok. They're just generic things that are on the Superpower wiki. What level of super strength is good?

2. Magic Satchel I'll explain what it really is. Basically its the trope name for an animation technique where the character pulls things out of nowhere as if they were carrying them all along, because lets face it. Imagine Doomguy actually lugging around all those guns, he'd look really weird. You might alternatively know it as Hammer Space. They obv can't pull out items that they aren't carrying. If you don't want it, its not such a big deal for her since she doesn't use weapons anyway.

3. Deadpool powerset, he has a teleporter and abuses the Magic Satchel thing like crazy. :P

4. Yep. Could say shes sorta axolotl based. I'll put that in.
@Mr Allen J

What about my Deadpool Powerset with weapons swapped out for Super Strength?
<Snipped quote by Archmage MC>

Depends on the power I can come up with weaknesses in it's place.

TDLR imagine Deadpool powerset but more tame personality wise, with Super Strength instead of weapons.

Basically without it being under Toonforce's lampshade, there aren't as many weaknesses. Esp mental weaknesses that being a toon would cause.
Hm... the character I wanna play, I can probably make her not have toonforce, but that'll drastically reduce the amount of weaknesses she has. yay powercreep.
<Snipped quote by Archmage MC>

I am aware of the "Toonforce," but I'll unfortunately have to decline. I have seen the power around a few times and a living cartoon doesn't really fit the more realistic/serious tone of the RP - or the characters I'll be asking for. You can make a character that uses cartoons or whatever for inspiration, but the "Toonforce" stretches the setting and the logic a bit too much for me.

So you don't want to see a toon-like character try to acclimate themselves to a more serious environment and all the potential plotthreads that could make? That makes me sad, esp with the RP's premace
