I'm liking the character roster. Lots of varied powers.

Not at all. Compare Young justice superboy versus Justice league superman. He was still coming into his powers with room to grow, he had super-vision and x-ray, but no heat vision or super speed unless his human DNA was surpressed.

Couple months back I played a superman who landed in hawaii instead of kansas, I gave him the endurance and heat vision as his primary powers so he could take punishment and deal out hits as well.

Since thee are so many aspects of supermans powers, pick your top 3-5 favorites and focus on them more and give yourself come room to 'level-up'.

To be fair, both Superman and Batman are "Mary Sue" characters - they're just able to be labeled as such for different reasons.
Superman, because he's pretty OP - though he wouldn't be considered so on his home planet - and Batman because of his behaviour and backstory.

Yep yep. xD I'm just super chatty and trying to help @Princeofhearts's char idea to work assuming their dead set on it. Problem with Superman is the extreme lack of weaknesses for so many powerful and pricy powers, and even then his weaknesses aren't that strong anyway.

I got a feeling you want my character to be hella weak. If it was like this, I would've just made something else other than Kryptonian but I'll see what I can do.

I don't want it to be super weak, its more the Teen Titans setting and powerlevel area than anything. And lack of palpable weaknesses against any villain that isn't the top tier DC villains, which the Titans don't really fight since its out of their powerlevel range. (I'm not including any batman villains here because they are pretty low on the DC power scale if their name isn't Joker. And even he isn't that high on the scale tbh.)

Also admittedly I'm an advid Superman hater. xD

If your dead set on a Superman like char, we can probably work something out to make them work.

You could make him have roughly or a little less than the durability/strength/speed of Starfire/GMs char, but instead of energy bolts you got your vision and breath powers nerfed a bit. Tack on the Red Sun/Kyrptonite weaknesses, change the knowledge down to be reasonable, but not JL levels, and we could probably make stuff work, yeah?

There is a reason why Superman hasn't been successful in the same way Batman has, hes just a mary su char that sets the bar for DC heroes in such a way that unless your Batman, your kinda SOL. Plus imagine how hard a Superman videogame is to make in comparison to a Batman game. With Batman, its feasible for him to lose in most situations. He usually doesn't (Unless its DCAU), but its not beyond the scope of belief. Superman? You KNOW hes going to win, your just waiting for it to happen as nothing can hurt him, and you know the writers don't have the balls to kill him off and keep him dead or crippled unlike Batman.

Plus Goku vs Superman, with the deathbattle team using Silver Age superman didn't help things at all.

I personally was going for Supergirl lol cause I was inspired by her TV-Show.
But they said all Kryptonians had the same abilities and I didn't really think of Superboy, I just named his Alias as that. And he could have threats, I mean there's his weakness of Kryptonite, etc.

Yeah, but kryptonite is supposed to be rare, same with red sun radiation. My char has that net/gas/ext weakness which is much, MUCH more readily available, even on a shoestring budget.

@PrinceofheartsFor one, I'd tone down the scale of his powers. A fist-fight using super strength of 100,000 tons with flash-equal speed is over the top compared to most others if he went off the wall from mind control or some such. most superheroes get super strength or super speed, not both. And tossing on super-genius intellect with full martial arts training.

Soft suggestion and suggestion only is to set yourself up with a personal level or point system and shift the things around to scales of strength, instead of starting off with arctic superbreath, make it 10 MPH and lower temperature by 10 degrees, you could freeze already cool objects around 40 degrees and kick up debris easily hands free. Then after some adventuring and training, ramp it up to 20 MPH winds and 20 degree cooling. When you reach huricane force winds the arctic breath will be just as easy to accomplish.

But teffinately drop the strength and speed to something like 10X a human of his height/weight, that's 100-120MPH and 2000 pounds or so. More than enough to be a superhero without being justice leauge material off the bat.

Thats about Superboy levels, except I think Superboy had 10 ton lifting cabaility instead of 1 ton, yeah?

Superman chars are really hard to balance. its like their points system is overbudgeted by a lot.

Yeah, but Superboy was a clone. The DNA didn't really work in his favour, so he could super jump, but not fly.
So if Kadar is a Kryptonian, I think his abilities make sense. He just wouldn't have them mastered or anything, you know?

edit ;; I forgot about the heat vision - I've been rewatching Young Justice, and I don't think he had that, either. Not sure about the breath, though.

So basically Golden age Superman? I think Golden Age was the weakest of the 3 ages when it came to superman, yeah? or DCAU superman nerfed would work too. He was balanced pretty well.

What do you think should be nerfed? ^_^ Cause, I went to a website, where Kryptonian powers were explained and they seem to have a lot for being a Kryptonian. But tell me what you think I need to change and I will. I obviously didn't want to be stronger than anyone nor OP.

Yeah, Superman chars are kinda weird since they have so many strong powers going for them. I can understand the extreme values if you just copy-pasted things though.

GM would have to pick and choose tbh, because my char is sorta made to deal with Superman chars, so shes your direct counter on the power triangle in my head. I think the problem is that short of Darksied or Brainak, I can't think of any villains that could be a threat. My char has a lot more villains that can be threats due to the gas/tied up weaknesses meaning that most of Batman's rogues gallery down to the B or C listers could give her trouble.

I don't think Superboy had heat vision or any breath or vision powers either, and his SS was about on par or a little less than Hulk's base strength. (Which is still quite considerable)

He did get the flight/vision/breath powers though when Lex gave him those 'enhancers' which also made him go crazy too, right?

Appearance
Light is a 1.8 meter tall white humanoid figure. Her head is a large spherical shape with no nose, very large black and orange eyes, short blue hair, fin like ears, and a very very skinny neck. She has a noticeable hourglass shape to her due to her hips and chest. She has skinny biceps with large forearms and hands with spike-like fingers. She wears a white dress with blue trim and a blue tanktop, the dress having an 'M' cut pattern in the front to reveal her legs, which look normal besides the bottom leg ending at a sharp point where her foot should be.

Personality
Light is intelligent, fun loving, honest to a fault, laid back, and values freedom very highly. She is more likely to try to make friends with people than she is to fight them, which makes her come off as naive or gullible at times. She tends to be caught in traps as she isn't careful, her powers making her a bit lax. Even though her outwards persona is very playful and comes off as naive or lazy, it hides a sharp Genre Savvy intellect. This makes her a bit crazy, but also extremely good at finding weakpoints and figuring out things fairly fast.

Toonforce
Light has the powers, physics, ext... of a toon as well as its weaknesses.

Toon Regeneration: Its said that its nearly impossible to kill a toon, and thats true in the case of Light. While she still takes damage as normal and can be knocked out like normal, she can regenerate from any aliment, including being vaporized, her mind shattered or erased, her spirit taken out of her body, ext... She regenerates by 'popping' back to her normal state after a bit of taking no damage, sometimes having bandages or something on her that indicates what she was last hit by. While she can regenerate from pretty much any state, more extreme states or supernatural states take her more time to regenerate from, especially nonlethal states such as being turned into a kid, ext...

Toon Physics: Physics affect Light differently since she is a cartoon. This means...

• Light's body 'stretches', usually in moments of rapid acceleration or if she is being pulled on from two sides. Her normal movements look cartoony as well. Her body can stretch and grow to hit something, but she can't stretch more than 1/5th of a meter in this way.
• If Light walks off a high point, such as a cliff, but is unaware that she is walking off of an edge, she will continue to walk on air as if it was ground. When she realizes she is no longer on solid ground, she will fall like normal.
• While falling, Light can stop when approaching the ground to readjust where she will land, before continuing to fall at the rate she was falling before she stopped.
• Injuries affect her differently than normal. For example, being caught up in an explosive causes her to appear ash covered before possibly breaking apart into a pile of ash, or being crushed causing her to become a pancake, ext...
• Light can't bleed.
• If Light is hit by a sharp object or a hot object on her backside, she'll be propelled away from the object, usually on fire if it was a hot object.
• If Light places her finger inside the barrel of a gun, she will cause the gun to misfire.
• Eating very spicy things will let Light breath fire, while also running around wildly looking for water.
• If stuck in hostile environments for long periods, Light will adapt to the environment and be able to function in it like normal.
• For some reason, her eyeballs are far, far more durable than the rest of her body.
• Light can pick up enchanted/DNA objects that other people usually wouldn't be allowed to pick up. However she will not gain the benefit from said objects unless she herself would fit the criteria for the enchantment/lock.
• Light can parkour on walls for extended periods before falling.
• Light has full control over her body pieces if she is chopped up. Sometimes she will form into tiny versions of herself is she is smashed or shattered, reforming after a bit of time running around.
• Light herself is resistant to other forms of reality changing attacks.
• Its very obvious to those around her when Light is dizzy, confused, knocked out, stunned, has an idea, ext.. due to various things appearing over her head depending on the state.
• Things get confusing if Light is chased into a hallway with many doors...
• If chasing something that is taking off from the ground, Light can step on the air for a time in order to chase them, but will eventually fall.
• Can dress up in a disguise to fool the weak minded.
• You REALLY don't wanna eat her unless you want her walking around inside your head freely.
• A Shadow of Impending Doom appears below Light when an object is falling on her.
• Light leaves an imprint of herself if she impacts the ground from a high height. Ditto if she runs through a wall.
• Light can keep herself from falling for a couple seconds by flapping her arms like they were wings when she would start falling. She'll fall soon after though.
• Among other nuances I might have forgotten.

Toon Strength: Light can exhibit enormous strength for her small frame. This strength is tied to her emotions, and if shes sad, she loses a massive amount of strength.

Toon Speed: Light exhibits short bursts of speed, using it to either dodge attacks or run at decent speeds. While she can dodge bullets with no problems with this, actual running speed Light is notably faster, but not anywhere near speedster territory (not that much faster than a top speed car). She can only dodge a few attacks every so often, and only if shes aware of the attacks. Outside of this, Light isn't very fast at all.

ACME Magic Satchel: Light can store and pull various objects from her dress. Stored objects she can call upon at will, however objects she pulls from her dress without storing them first are completely random, are often cartoony or have a horrendous backfire effect, and as the name suggests, usually (But not always) explode in her face if held too long, even non lethal things such as pies! Storing a random object doesn't allow her to call it at will, and she can only pull a few random objects every 10 minutes, the cooldown reduced by her putting back said random objects. Light can't store living objects.

Portable Hole: Light can pull a black circular hole from her dress, allowing her to teleport to anywhere within her sightlines upon placing and entering it. The entrance and exit holes can be placed on anything, including air or space, but there is a noticable delay of her coming out of the exit hole if its not located on a surface. Only Light and objects stored in her Magic Satchel can go inside her holes.

Toon Touch/Reality Siphon: Being a toon, Light reacts to normal reality strangely and tends to bring things to her state of reality. When touching something, it is unable to receive energy from outside sources. This gives her touch some sort of 'creepy' feeling. Additionally if shes in constant contact with something for extremely extended periods it will start to go through the stages of turning into a toon with no beneficial powers, and eventually fade from reality altogether (A massive amount of time. Probably a few weeks.), maybe going to a different dimension entirely? If Light stops touching the object at any point, it will regain its energy at its normal rate and basically reset their reality back to normal after a very short amount of time. This power is always on and Light has no control over its intensity.

"Your Gonna Have A Bad Time": Light says a phrase that usually has these words, Emphasizing her point with incredibly creepy and dark toon physics and giving them a chance to concede their actions that made her come to this point. If the opponent decides to ignore her, Light will throw all silliness and playfulness aside, pull out sunglasses, and fight with extreme lethality, tactical thinking, and ferocity. Light will only offer to give someone a bad time if they make her truly angry. She wont do this in normal combat situations, even if she is being beaten over and over and over.

Weaknesses

• Light takes extra damage from attacks due to her cartoon physics.
• Light is weak to gas, poison, ext type attacks, and it doesn't take much of a substance to have an effect on her.
• Light has an exceptionally difficult time breaking herself free of anything that binds her movement. Being encased in ice, tied down, stuck in a net, ext...
• A vast majority of her toon powers are tied to her emotional state, and most of them don't work well if she is feeling sad or depressed. In addition she has a severe power drop if she is forced to do things against her own will or forced to do something she just doesn't want to do.
• Light plays with her opponents instead of fights them seriously unless giving them "A Bad Time". If she is annoyed with someone she'll start showing Genre Savvy type of playful fighting however.
• Light is very gullible due to her silly/playful/lazy persona, especially if she doesn't know or think poorly of someone. Shes not easy to directly turn on her friends though. She is also easy to talk down from a fight unless she is giving someone "A Bad Time."
• Light often tries to be friends with her opponents if she thinks she can.
• Light is unable to use Energy based weapons due to Cartoon physics, and ballistic based weapons have less power and speed if used by her. Bombs still have their full power, but a drastically reduced blast radius.
• Light is very easily distracted by music or other fun things if she is not giving someone "A Bad Time."
• Objects falling tend to home in slightly on Light, showing their Shadows of Impending Doom under her. Likewise occasionally Light will be hit by a falling anvil, safe, or piano out of nowhere.
• Light tends to air on the side of unlucky when it comes to situations. IE she walks under a piano tied to a rope, there is a very high chance that piano will fall on her head.

History
A toon in the real world, or so Light appears. While any onlooker would guess that Light was a cartoon that somehow escaped into the real world. In truth she isn't that at all, but she prefers not to reveal that information and prefers if people think of her as a toon, as the alternative people don't really care much for at all. Being more or less an oddity in the world, Light found that being a hero led to her having more freedom and opportunity for fun. Sure she had to occasionally beat up baddies, which was a fun game of cops and robbers to her, but it was much better than being in constant fear or a much bigger force like it seemed most of the villains were dealing with.
Due to her age, powers, and relative proximity, Light joined the Teen Titans for more opportunities for fun, friends, and freedom. Not out of any notion of justice, but as a better means of an end, and it was just fun!

Light is free to use for slapstick routines if you want. Also don't feel bad if you wanna use her as a shield. Titans go!
