@Archmage MC That would work. Her initial features would be subtle, but the more she uses her ability, the more profound those features become.
Poor girl though. She gonna be ugly. To be fair, what people would consider as ugly in this universe might be incredibly different from current standards.
Yeah but its not permanent so I'm ok with it. Also shes going to look pretty not human off the bat, but before the regen you could easily call her cute. xD

>not going to be a flesh monster >necromorph
Shes not going to START OUT as a flesh monster. I figured you wanted her to start out like that :P.
Civillians are going to thing she's more villain-looking than a hero though.
"Akiiirrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Insert image of flesh monstrosity here.
Also, for the arm thing, ye. I can do the colour change. I just couldn't think of anything so late in the night. Glittery rainbow arms it is.
Nah shes not going to be a flesh monster. Think more Axolotl.
<Snipped quote by Archmage MC>Oh! Sorry for the misunderstanding! Hmmm. If you wanted to look like a monstrosity, he could revert into a more primal personality the more he uses his ability. If he receives something that's life threatening and heals back up from that, he'd turn into some rabid beast?
Or if you want something that was more lighthearted, he could get nauseous with compounding effects every time he uses his ability. Recovering from a massive wound would leave him vomiting, but with his body intact?
Latter works. Maybe also make her a bit uglier depending on how much is regenerated for a while, making her into a flesh monster looking thing if she regenreates too much like a necromorph or something. She'll get better and go back to normal over time, but that sounds like a more fun affliction.
You're not forced to participate if you think its boring; that'll just be detrimental to your posting. I've had people drop RPs because they lack the motivation or inspiration to post. I kinda don't want that. I mean, isn't that understandable?
No I mean, I want something more wacky than getting tired as a detriment. But I can work with it if we can't think of anything.
@Archmage MC Increased regeneration would just tire him out more; fatigue-related symptoms and the like. The faster the regeneration and the larger the the damage he recovers from, the more deleterious the effects would be.
Eh, I could still just have ultimate regeneration as a quirk. I'll just need to figure out its penalties without the Unbound power I pair it with. I'm guessing weakness to chemical/drugs and a lot of other things.
Look will work though, said passive power would make her look very monster-like. Elegent, but monster like.
Mine'll probably be Ultimate Regen and a second power that makes her immune to reality warping and does a few other things, but makes her incredibly unlucky and weak to being tied up and gives her a more monster-ish appearance.
Parents: None, being an orphan tends to lead to not having these, well, alive ones anyway.
Powers and abilities: Ultimate Regeneration Super Strength Sharp Claw-like digits
Light is not bound by the world's reality. This means.... +++She is immune to other forms of reality warping attacks or things created via reality warping. Shes also immune to soul based attacks. ++She slowly gains a resistance to the damage type she takes, depending on how much they force her to regenerate. She can't get a resistance to attacks made using Silver or Nth metal, nor chemical or drug based attacks. This effect lessens over time. +She can open and travel through tears in reality she creates, which is just a fancy way to say she can make her own personal wormholes to teleport with. Only she can go through these holes and they don't stay open for long. Limit to surfaces in her sight range. Thats all assuming they don't explode in her face. +~She slowly steals the reality of whatever she touches, causing it to be unable to gain energy from outside sources for a little while and lose reality the longer it touches her. While they will regain their reality very quickly if not in contact with Light, they can't gain energy from outside sources until their reality is restored. Powerful Magical beings or larger things lose reality at a much slower rate. She can't turn this power off. Others often describe this as a slight creepy touch. ~She can't bleed. ~Situations tend to affect her differently, often leading to small instances of toon physics, although this is more limited to things like getting squashed flat if hit really hard, rubbery movement, stalling her fall for a moment, and stuff like that. Its also pretty obvious when shes been punched through a building. ~She has an appearance that is... well... Some call it creepy, others call it cute. Its defiantly not human though. -Her ability to steal reality means she has a hard time finding technology that she can use. Yeah, shes going to probably break that phone or game controller after awhile, probably at a really bad time for her too. --She is incredibly unlucky, and tends to fall into painful slapstick situations. Also she should never gamble for obvious reasons. She isn't clumsy though, just unlucky. So no tripping for her. ---She takes extra damage from attacks, especially chemical or drug based ones. Alchohol is not her friend, or its her best friend depending on who you ask. ----She has an incredibly difficult time escaping binds, being tied up, caught in a net, or other various things that limit her movement. Especially things made of silver or nth metal, or tentacles, or duct tape...(She kinda has a fear of the last two, especially tentacles. Shes seen the internet.) This is often to the extent that she'll probably need help if she wants to get back into a fight in a timely manner.
Personality: Light's outward personality is very fun loving, outgoing, honest, and can be mistaken as airheaded at times. While it is true she tends to not consider small consequences, which is apparent with how nihilistic she appears to be about most situations, she hides a sharp intellect. This is more on the Genre Savvy side of things than the technical, so while she can learn about tech, she really can't make any and instead is better at observations and general logic. While on the outside she is mostly a pacifist, tending to avoid fighting or fight in a playful manner, defending her allies, or make friends with the combatants than fight for real. If she is forced to get serious, well.... Lets just say your gonna have a bad time.
Bio: So you don't look human, your in a world full of humans in conflict, and you have powers, what do you do? Become a hero of course! Well, thats what Light decided to do, considering if she didn't, people would probably pass her off as a monster and be on the hunt for her constantly, something she wasn't keen on. Having to figure out the world on her own, and people aren't the nicest to things that look so strange, even if the world was full of notorious mutants and cyborgs. So until she got to Superhero Academy where the strange was the norm, she learned to go around covering herself up fully to attempt to blend in.
Since she had known no parents, she wasn't too sure where she had come from or had gotten her powers from. Considering her looks, she just figured that she always had them. Even though she could barely use technology, had a hard time keeping possessions on her person for any extended length of time, and had some of the worst luck you could imagine, she kept an upbeat personally because when the worst is bound to happen, you can enjoy the joys that others take for granted. Plus when you get hit by a car or squashed by a piano, extreme levels of regeneration helps you to deal with that.
Thankfully getting into the Superhero Academy wasn't too hard. Even the recruiter didn't bat an eye at her strange appearance, as if they saw this every day. It probably helped that Light was very eager to become a hero, and lots of cheerful enthusiasm goes a long way. And for once she didn't have to hide under a trenchcoat, although she didn't really see many 'monsters' like herself here, at least people weren't outright hostile to her, and some were even curious! And once she finished her training here, she hoped that being a hero would mean she could enjoy the outside world without needing to hide herself from it. It was probably fortunate she didn't become a villain, as any weaker person would've probably have done growing up in those conditions, but that lifestyle never suited Light. Being constantly on the run never sounded fun. Heck, it sounded outright counter-intuitive to the name she gave herself!
Appearance: Light is a 5"6 tall pure white humanoid figure with a thin pear shaped frame. She has an overly large spherical head with short blue hair, no visible nose, very large black and yellow eyes, fin-looking ears, serrated beartrap like teeth, and an incredibly thin neck. She wears a blue tanktop with skinny biceps leading to larger forarms which flow into her nearly cartoonishly big hands which have long claw-like fingers attached to them. She has wide hips, which look even bigger due to the thin short white dress like thing she has which covers her back down to her lower knees and covers her front down to her kneecaps, with the front having an M cut taken out of it. Her legs look normal, short of her having no feet, instead having her lower leg come to a sharp point where her foot would be. She also wears padded gloves so her claws don't get in the way of everyday life things.
