The Crew of The Pinned Seal is coming together nicely, a very lively crew indeed... thrilled to be starting Chapter 2. of Winds of Fate. The party has been a blessing and I couldn't be happier.

Likes, Interests, and Dislikes-

Hello..
I am always looking for new Rp'ers and writers to help fill in gaps between my posts in Rp's that I am currently participating in. I love to create new characters, realms, worlds, all very displayed. I am an artist so I like to add a bit of visual stimuli when I have the time. I try very hard to make it all very immersive. I have a few characters listed below along with my interests and other info...

My likes and interests are Medieval, Low-medium Fantasy, Fantasy, Historical, Ancient, Steampunk, Pirate/Swashbuckler, Dark, gritty themes (18+), Modern, Sci-fi, Future, Dystopian, Apocalyptic, Slice of life, Romance (with plot only), Mystery, Military, Mech/Mecha, Western, Colonial, just to name a few. I like play by post, or chat as well. Large group, small group, 1x1.

My dislikes are Fandoms, High School, ANIME, anything with FUR.. Did I mention fandoms? and fur, already?? I really prefer to play original Rp's and original charatacters for the most part, and I am always looking for new and engaging people to write with. If interested please feel free to PM me.

Writing Style-

Literate, descriptive, multi-para to novella posts. Mature and well written, with grammatical and punctual prowess, and I expect the very same from my partners. Please do not waste my time, and I will do my best not to waste yours.

@Gunther @The Angry Goat @SantosGabriel77 @Peaceless, I added a few rolls and roll mods to the existing list, compensating for injury, flaw, and intoxication/effects. Not a ton of content, just some sensible mods to acclimate for flaws and other things that would factor in normally. These additions have been added to both the IC(zero page) and OOC boards. Thanks! I should have another post in a day or so. Thanks for everyone so far on their patience and efforts! Grand fellas so far! I hope this turns out to be as good as I'm hoping it will.

I am also playing a character of my own, so I'm not just a GM. If any of you have any content or additions that you'd like to add please let me know. I would love for this to be as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved. I have a loose (big picture) plot for the course, but no set details or idea of whats coming 3 or 4 posts ahead.. Also if you have any side plots or anything of that nature (plot ideas personal to characters, errands, or acquisition of items or other ideas along these lines) please feel free to let me know.. I'm all ears, and I aim to please.
I agree with that @Gunther.
@Icarus fantastic character sheet, go ahead and add to the list and proceed to post whenever it is convenient. thanks for joining.
@Gunther @The Angry Goat I understand that you both are busy, as well as I. Once per week is fine, and I am more like a two post per week person myself. Twice would be wonderful, but once is fine. I just don't want to have to hold the progress up because someone doesn't post for a month. If you are expecting to have a hiatus or absence please make your last IC post in a way that will allow the rest of the people writing to be able to continue. or at least let me know in advance.. Once a week is perfectly fine, but twice would be fantastic but it isn't required. I'm also busy with a family, two kids with special needs, school as well as work. I completely understand.

@Peaceless once a day is a bit much, though if you'd like to do 3 or so that would be fine.
Here is the map I just added as well. It will be located under to zero listing at the top of IC page.

@The Angry Goat, @Gunther, One more thing very quick. If I could get you guys to put your characters in hiders just to make it a bit quicker to navigate around since images and stuff take up a lot of space. This should keep everyone's characters up close to the top for easy use. Also doing this will make it easier to add multiple characters if you'd like, or perhaps to add in contacts or npc's you might want to bring in with a bit of info as well.. Thanks!

I also added flaws into the character sheet just under demeanor. Just so everyone has a specific or several specific flaws to contend with.
@Gunther Thank you and this is fine. I would very much like an asshole and lar on board in the party. This should make for an interesting character to say the least. I am also almost forty myself. I just wanted to make sure that everyone was clear about the rolling situation. I very much like WW structure and story based play, a lot more than sifting through endless books and rules. I feel like all of that can take away from a story at times.
Here are some hiders containing easy access to valuable info for all players as a resource.

Still accepting new applications for characters. Apply in OOC thread please. If submitting a character please post it in a hider.. Thanks in advance!!

@Gunther Very nice, and very glad to have you. No changes to character sheet are necessary. Go ahead and place him in the Character list. Also on the D&d comment, this is more of a story telling rp, based more along the lines of White Wolf's Vampire games, where the story takes lead over rules or guidelines.
There are a few rolls, but these are just used to steer a post rather than to determine whether or not someone wins or loses anything. Like if you are going to have your character shoot at someone, and the intent of your character is to do so with lethality, but you roll a poor number instead, this allows for improv writing, and makes us step back to rethink our posts. Other than that it isn't going to be a back and forth with the die roller..

If your character encounters a fight, don't roll for each blow or anything like that, just assume that the one roll signifies the entire encounter and base your posts on that. If the number is on the lower side, just incorporate a few setbacks or failures into the outcome. Just trying to allow for some randomness in the posts.. I feel as though we often times have a set post in our minds before we even start typing, this method should help to add some spice, and genuine spontaneity.

The only thing I would maybe add to your character is some sort of flaw, or some trait or characteristic that often leads Lysander to the path of hard luck. For example, my character Y'Vanna is a lush and addicted to or willing to do just about any sort of intoxicant, or like Gail, who has shaky hands or tinges of awkwardness or clumsiness. Something to put a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He already seems to be a bridge burner of sorts so I guess that could count, or maybe he is so dishonest or less than trustworthy, even for a thief.

Other than that he is wonderful, and again its good to have you on. Feel free to post at your convenience.
