Bio

Likes, Interests, and Dislikes-

Hello..
I am always looking for new Rp'ers and writers to help fill in gaps between my posts in Rp's that I am currently participating in. I love to create new characters, realms, worlds, all very displayed. I am an artist so I like to add a bit of visual stimuli when I have the time. I try very hard to make it all very immersive. I have a few characters listed below along with my interests and other info...

My likes and interests are Medieval, Low-medium Fantasy, Fantasy, Historical, Ancient, Steampunk, Pirate/Swashbuckler, Dark, gritty themes (18+), Modern, Sci-fi, Future, Dystopian, Apocalyptic, Slice of life, Romance (with plot only), Mystery, Military, Mech/Mecha, Western, Colonial, just to name a few. I like play by post, or chat as well. Large group, small group, 1x1.

My dislikes are Fandoms, High School, ANIME, anything with FUR.. Did I mention fandoms? and fur, already?? I really prefer to play original Rp's and original charatacters for the most part, and I am always looking for new and engaging people to write with. If interested please feel free to PM me.

Writing Style-

Literate, descriptive, multi-para to novella posts. Mature and well written, with grammatical and punctual prowess, and I expect the very same from my partners. Please do not waste my time, and I will do my best not to waste yours.

Alternate:

-Delilah Rose-

Name: Delilah Rose
Aliases: The Raven
Age: 23
Sex: Female
Origin: Varyan Empire, Magnagrad
Occupation: Inquisitor
Class: Gunslinger
Disposition: Guardian, Bon Vivant, Wild Card
Demeanor: Strong Willed/Stubborn, Cold, Stand-Offish, Cynical
Special Skills: Dead-Eye, Clairvoyance

Delilah was dubbed a prodigy at a very young age by the priory of her training. An orphaned girl of a significantly young age at her arrival, her training started early on. It was assumed that she was from the shanty town districts of Magnagrad, and perhaps her parents were dead, or had done as many others and simply abandoned the extra mouth wayside. She was noted to be very adept with intricate devices and small machines, and most noticeably she was very keep on firearms. Her shot and poise was second to none and even the most seasoned marksman was commonly impressed. Delilah has been known to become hyper-focused, and often mumbles incoherently when this occurs. Seemingly oblivious to her surroundings yet completely focused on it as well.. A phenomenon referred to by soldiers as being blood drunk. It has also been said that she is somewhat of a clairvoyant, and can see into the future, yet this claim she thoroughly denies. One would question this had they seen her in action.

She was also noted to be highly manipulative and very intelligent. Her very presence in the room was enough to send a coldness down one's spine. Her talents were put to good use, as it was these characteristics that inspired the priory to teach her in the arts of espionage. She was very well placed. Skilled in interrogation and advanced covert tactics, she is as lethal to the mind as she is the body.

Gear:

Two medium caliber revolvers, bored, calibrated, and finely tuned
Leather Satchel Bag
Several glass vials
Calipers
Small Kit for Revolvers (tools/cleaning)
Minimal Leather Armor
3 Leather Belts/Assorted Pouches

I'm hoping this is still open. Here is a character submission if there is still room.

@Genbor Absolutely.. I think that is a fine idea. I was going to leave it up to everyone whether or not they wanted to document them, but I think a hider at the bottom would be a fine way to do so. And yes, if a character shows a skill often enough it can eventually be upgraded.
@Genbor good question. I would say that the skill level would determine the outcome more than the roll. Say for instance you only have a skillset of 1, ad you roll a success then you still only get a d100 roll in bits due to lack of skill... whereas having a skillset of 4 and rolling all four successes is much better than a single roll from a skill measured so low, if that makes sense. These aren't exactly set in stone and didn't follow any conventional gaming style either (though it is a loose representation of White Wolf and WOD, or masquerade) and it hasn't been fully employed to work out any kinks. I would just use your better judgement and the situation to determine the outcomes as you see fit, but naturally having a higher skillset will most often do much better than a low one, and even shotty successes can still be successful, but come at a costly price, or ends up causing a bit more trouble than normally intended.
@Genbor Wonderful question, and yes you got the jist of it fairly down pat, and as you mentioned it is more like a guidelines system for us to incorporate a bit of spontaneity in our posts rather than just forming them coherently in our minds. As far as what you wrote above you would be correct. like on a 4d2 roll with two successes hat would indeed be a success, and again, it would've been a bit sketchy, but still a success. Anytime that you have a skillset that ends up with a roll of one you can either assume that is a failure, or a very costly, or shotty success. A one is generally considered to be a failure because no zeros can be rolled.

If you get all successes in a pickpocket roll it then changes the roll for the payout, to a d20 instead of a d100, and pays in gold coin instead of bits.. All successes is like hitting a good scratch off.

Again, this is just a guideline model for allowing a bit of our writings and posts to be a bit beyond our control, nothing more. Also when fighting or what have you, you don't need to roll for each blow or attack, one roll should suffice for the whole ordeal, if that makes sense.
@Peaceless Thank you for understanding. I set this up as a mid-fantasy rp, in which that some magic and perhaps some mythical beasts might exist, but I didn't want to go full on LOTR with 10 different races. The magic and beasts and things are going to be very minimal, so that most of this would be kept within the realms of possibility.

@Genbor that is a wonderful character. Very well thought out and like Angry Goat I think that being mute is a fantastic thing to have to work around.. and I can definitely see how rituals and superstitions could easily get in the way. Awesome job. Go ahead and add to the character list and post whenever is convenient. There is no set turn in which anyone posts. Just try and make sure that you don't step on any toes when doing so. Maybe once the main plot idea gets rolling we will decide on a turn hierarchy but as for now I'd like to leave it open so that those of us who post more often wont be stuck waiting for someone else to post.

Also if everyone could mock up their character sheet like mine or like Icarus' sheet with the name and currency, as well as ammo at the top that would be great. Placing everything else in a hider makes it easier and quicker for myself to access, as well as everyone else. Thanks.

@Gunther I'm very sorry to hear that. I wish that you could participate still, however I completely understand where you are coming from. We have two special needs children I the home and it can get very crazy around here, on top of jobs and everything else. If n othing else please stop by and keep up with the story if you'd like, and maybe in the future if you have the time I can somehow implement you back in. Very sorry to hear that you can't make it, but focusing on what's important is definitely not something you should jeopardize. Thanks for coming out none the less.

Everyone is clear at this point to post whenever. My character and Gail are getting together for the first bit of the story, so we will be caught together. Once everyone is caught and Jailed I will bring the group out in front of the king to start the main plot drive. However you decide to end up in shackles is up to you, and if you could do so in 3-5 posts that'd be great. Trying to get everyone together so that we can get started on the main story first.
Still open @Genbor. Would love to have another player along. Still slow goings thus far. Glad you like the ooc content, and very glad to see that it's at least intriguing enough to spark your curiosity. Just post a character sheet for submission and once it's clear you are free to post at your convenience.
Yes, I like how the Currency and ammo is outside of the hider. I changed mine to follow suit. Also @Peaceless good character sheet. I was only wanting human characters, but if you are dead set on being a gnome I guess that's okay. Very good sheet. Add to the character list and post whenever you are ready.

Also keep in mind that this first segment, all characters will need to be caught and await trial before the King before the actual plot begins. Totally up to you on how you all get caught or arrested, just be aware that the group will need to go before him together.. [2Gunther] @The Angry Goat @Icarus @SantosGabriel77

Guillan- Market District, Dusk
Y'Vanna-

Y’Vanna made her way through the twisting paths of the marketplace with ease now as the people had all but abandoned theirs stalls and storefronts. Windows and doors were being pulled closed and latched for the night. The last light of the day was upon as the sun now kissed the vast horizon of the sea, just before it would plummet beneath its waters. Most of this light didn’t make it to the market, and the street torches were being lit. That’s when she saw it.. The perfect market. An elderly woman with a large basket under her arm, and a snotty little brat of a child tugging and pulling at the other. A slim grim fell upon her face and her pace quickened. The hunt was on. She knew to be mindful of the constables and the citymen lighting the pyres, but she was also a seasoned enough to know that hesitation was responsible for the knicking of many a picker, and there was no hesitation in Y’Vanna, or her will.

She slowed once she got in closer, at a range that she could make her move when the pass was a go. The pads of her feet fell silently against the soft trodden earth beneath them. One last glance over the shoulder, her hand extended towards the basket. She could see the strings and sash of the coin purse as it lay there amongst an assortment of vegetables and grains. Just as she did the young child, a girl, that she could see now tugged frantically at the woman, causing Y’Vanna’s hand to slap the basket. Y”Vanna was frozen with shock as the woman and child both looked to her.. The woman’s face twisted with disgust.

“What are you on about, then?” The woman shrilled with excitement.

Y”Vanna barely heard the words as they rang out from her mouth. This was hardly the smooth transaction that had played out in her mind just moments before. Stunned. Finally the words seemed to meet with the face before her, and her senses came to, one after another. Her brow furrowed and she had only a small moment to act upon.

“Oh feck it..” She said as her hand grasped the coinpurse. She clawed at the leather pouch so quickly that she almost swatted it from the basket entirely, and barely managed to get a couple of fingers around it..

She took off running, swift like a gull on the winds of the tides. The woman left some paces back shrieked and howled, and the child followed suit. There were constables in earshot, this was certain, and before long she heard their whistler sound off, blowing hard and beckoning company. She cut at the nearest ally, the coinpurse tucked firmly under her arm now and she could feel its girth and weight. She could hear the heavy footsteps and chainmail as she rounded another corner. They were bigger and less agile than she, and it wouldn’t be long before they’d give up in their pursuit of her. They were many in number, but if you added five of them up they’d hardly have the brain of a normal man. Oafs, the lot. At least that’s how she had always seen them.

It wasn’t long before she had outpaced them and she could no longer hear them nipping at her heels. A large crash and shouting noises verified their distance. She chuckled softly as she slowed to a walk before finding a small cut to rest up in. She knelt next to a small lodge, in between it and a shack just beside it. She pulled the purse out and rolled its weight between her fingers and palm. She undrew the string to reveal it’s contents. 3 whole coins and 7 bits, not a bad score. Now she had enough to purchase some more dust from her fence in the slums. Gail was his name. She hadn’t been in Guillan long, but she had taken acquaintance with Gail. He was not the usual dealer, or peddler of evils if that’s what you like.. He had always seemed a bit more gentle, and his kindness could hardly be masked. A very genuine fellow, be him odd, she thought. He had always been fair with her, and she always tried to look out for him in return. She stopped along the way to pick up a fresh loaf for him. She liked to get him sweets and breads whenever she could. She made her way down into the slums. Cluttered hovels and shacks everywhere, one nearly atop the other. The smell of the bread was enticing, and fresh. She couldn’t help herself and finally gave in, pulling a small piece off of one end. She finally made it Gail’s hovel but he wasn’t home. No matter.. there was still a bit of time to kill before she would implement her plan, and besides, maybe Gail would be interested as well, for a cut of the action of course. She sat there patiently outside his door, waiting upon his arrival, as the cinnamon bread tickled her tongue. The sun had finally set, and the streets of Guillan were dotted by torchlights.

Bumping.. Still looking for ACTIVE players.. Post once or twice a week preferred.
