Dana enjoys Shinobu's salty tears. As do I.

Salty tears requires Shinobu's fluids as well. There are no tears, only internalized salt.
Hm...might have added too much salt in that post...

A night passed, one that was spent sewing and sleeping. Whether it was a blessing or a bane, it turned out that most of her other teammates were quiet as well, other than that one super-excitable hyperactive pink-haired moeblob in fantasy armor that can’t shut the fuck up for half a minute. At the very least, her attentions were mostly directed towards the red-headed swordswoman, so Shinobu wasn’t in the spotlight much at all. She still pricked her fingers with the needle a few times though, whenever Juniper let out a particularly ear-grating exclamation.

In the end, though, Shinobu managed to digest her food without any problems, had some time for light exercise, got some ointments and bandages for the superficial wounds she received during the entrance exams, and finished patching up her torn pants. After that, she fell into a blissful eight hour sleep that was deep enough to block out the overt lesbian overtones that emanated from Juniper’s midnight ‘arrangement’ with Kurenai.

Ultimately, her impressions of her new teammates were…middling.

Juniper was hyperactive and stupidly strong.

Kurenai was quiet and even more stupidly strong.

Erisa was shy and also stupidly strong.

And, naturally, they were all taller than her and had fancier weapons than her Remembrance. Like, she could understand that Erisa, being a youkai, would have a bigass bow, and that Juniper, being a meathead, would have a bigass pick, but how rich was Kurenai, carrying around SEVEN FLUX-powered swords? She didn’t even have that many limbs!

There was no point in questioning it though. Maybe the sword maiden’s power was something stupidly strong as well, like Telekinesis.

With those envious, bitter thoughts hidden under a mask of neutrality, the doll-like girl arrived once more at the entrance hall of the Academy. The sun was about to set soon, which meant that it was now time for the ‘practical’ portions of Akatsuki Academy. It was written on the brochures, about how students were expected to do ‘missions’ in order to maintain or upgrade their status within the Academy.

Standing behind the rest of her rather impressive team, Shinobu closed her eyes and listened to Ellie’s innuendo-filled speech, sighing at how all this power has made the administration of the school rather lazy. Ball-busting Reiko, apparently one of the strongest Chasers, apparently had to deal with her period. Meanwhile, Headmistress Aria, an immortal presence that probably played a significant part in the battle against Tsukuyomi, was sleeping late.

God dammit, she was jealous as fuck, about how they could get away with lazing about like this.

As Ellie’s speech continued on, however, Shinobu’s pale complexion became even paler. It wasn’t about the fear of practical combat training, but rather that the monitors were going to be…Dana. Fucking shark-toothed, psycho-trash Dana. The same Dana that teleports fucking everywhere like a broken piece of shit and literally has weapons that can be summoned from fucking portals. The same Dana that’s probably going to teleport onto Shinobu while she was in some compromising position. Like hanging off the side of cliff or shitting out half her weight in the toilets.

God fucking dammit!

After a moment, though, the girl calmed down. Dana was just going to be a monitor this time. And a monitor didn’t get involved. So as long as Shinobu could shut out the heckling from the peanut gallery, it should be fine.

Yup.

Totally fine.

She nodded her head to confirm it, before speaking up.

“We won’t find Dana.”

A pause, for some added suspense and horror.

“Dana will find us.”
Oh yeah, just in case the rest of you aren't aware yet, Zombs told me to post Cole's responses for him. So yeah.

@RabidAnubisYou got three letters wrong, Rabid. It's not a date. It's a duel.
A lesser man would have had a headache from all the bullshit he had to deal with, but Cole? Cole simply let out a sigh and said to the battlesexual oni, "Arenas should be open in a day or two. Book one and let me know when."

Meruin’s words were met with a similarly calm, if not slightly bored reply. "So long as you don't cause any trouble and don't tag the place up you can stay. If you want Gall you can call for him yourself."

And, with that, the graduate left the room. After all, it was still a student’s dorm, not the actual library.

Arata was fine with that, ultimately. He got his books from Katsumi, whom he thanked with a dip of his head. He got another fight from an interesting (yet also boring) person from Cole, whom he smiled at. And…that was basically it. While the greedy loud person went about his introductions, pointing at the seal-pasting midget, Arata took this as his cue to leave as well. Exiting the Library, he juggled the two books in his hand, before bouncing off once more.

Sorcha and her new boy-toy were basically off fucking around in the red-light district or whatever, so the Tower’s highest floor WAS an option now, but at the same time…

Yeah, it wasn’t the tallest building after all. Setting his sights towards the clocktower of Montagne Academy, the structure that stood above everything else, the oni ran up the side of it, somersaulted upwards to the highest point, and from there, with the wind billowing the pages and the sounds of the school drowned out by the sounds of the sky, the oni focused on visualizing the storage shed.

He focused, he imagined, he thought, until there was not a single spare cell in his brain left to wander off and consider other things.

Three days.

Three days until he can see the worth of this wider world.

Well, I don't care either way. Let's dance and get naked.
It took Rui-Ling a few steps before he decided that, hey, maybe he should slow down a bit, because Alice honestly looked so excited about the prospect of seeing a SSS-rank Youkai that she could barely stand. Trembling in excitement, eh? Nice to see that the young ones were so amazingly enthusiastic about their job. As the two of them entered the forest, however, the immortal quickly noticed the hilariously obvious problem before them.

More specifically, he’d have been hardpressed not to notice it, and was surprised that he didn’t see it come from a mile away.

Easily standing above the trees, the alien being was stomping about in the distance, a goliath of nature that was ablaze with emerald flame. Each step resounded loudly, the earth quaking in its wake as waves of flame erupted through the Red Woods. Gunfire could be heard as well, and from the skies, black stars fell, containers that must have held whatever the lone combatant of the goliath needed in order to face his foe. From the distance, Rui-Ling whistled, but was disappointed as well.

After all, if this flashy, oversized being was supposed to be the source of the disappearances in the Red Woods, how the hell did Aria have such little information on it? Hell, Reiko, the Strongest Mage or whatever LIVED in the Red Woods. There was no way she could have missed something as stupidly large as that prancing around in her backyard, huh?

And thus, professionally, Rui-Ling couldn’t really say that he believed that something like that was the SSS-class Youkai causing the disappearances, nor was this particular battle really his problem.

On the other hand though…

“Oh omniscient and omnipotent Lady Alice! As you can see by the giant green flames and the shaking of the earth, an unfortunate Chaser has been beset by a goliath of god-like stature. Alas, my legs are merely human, compared to your divine speed, that which may exceed the hounds of the Artemis! Thus, I ask of you a humble favour: may you deliver this undeserving mortal to the doorsteps of the battlefield, so that he can prove his worth to you?”

Yeah, there was ‘professional’, and then there was ‘fun’.
@TheWindel@Shisa
Isn't just Phantom World another magical school RP? XD
So around 100~ meters?
@Rune_Alchemist
Think that it might just be a personal bias on your part, Rune. You like every lame, terribad pun outside of Savo's, or something like that.

That being said...gotta feel sorry for the CATalyst. It's gonna meet a grisly end one day.
