Niall could tell Blake was in his own little world inside the book now so he left him be, he needed to move anyhow. He still had on his boots from when he'd gotten here nearly three hours ago and simply hadn't bothered to take them off. He figured he might as well head to the match office and find his new match. Her name was Amanda and he prayed to the Moon that she would be the one he could finally take home to the pack. They were not all related but they were his family and his everything and he was their would-be King. He would rule them one day, perhaps with Amanda by his side if she could handle the wild that lived within him and within his pack.
So he strode out of their room offering a wave to Blake though he doubted he would even see it let alone notice he was gone for quite sometime. He kept his steps measured, as was customary to keep the beast within him in line. He was still young and he would appear this way for quite some time. If he were to marry a human his wife's aging would be tied to his own and would slow to match his or accelerate to match his own. He arrived rather quickly, when you're six foot six nearly six seven you do tend to arrive at places on foot rather quickly. Especially when you're a Lycan and might be moving a little faster than you should. Niall made sure to soothe the beast before he went inside. Settling down mentally and emotionally and removing any trace of the wolf before he entered the building. He opened the door and made his way inside.
It is set in modern times but because of their extremely remote location they have very limited access to technology of any kind. Lycans do not fair well around technology, they tend to break things that are not old style. Hence the blacksmith, leather-smith, and seamstress. That's why I was saying think old style western. Upright Appearance:
Niall is extremely tall, standing six feet seven and a half inches barefoot and weighs around 225 pounds though it is clearly all muscle. He is broad shouldered and has tattoos in various places across his body.
Canine Appearance:
In his lupine form Niall is on the higher end of the scale, his body ripples with muscle much like his human form. He stands just shy of being 50" tall at his shoulder and is around 8 and a half feet long, probably just a bit over that. He weighs in at around 210 pounds. His coat is thick and black with a touch of white mixed in along his underside, his eyes are a luminous gold.
Personality: Niall is loyal to a fault at times, he can definitely be a lover but is by far a fighter. He is rather stubborn but is open to listening to other peoples opinion. There is nothing he enjoys more than a good discussion about a pertinent topic. Niall is a gentle man at times but it is easy to see the beast that lurks within. Do not let his gentleness fool you for he does not shy from violence.
History: Niall was born to Keenan and Emelia Collins who ruled the pack before Niall. They were the perfect match, a so called 'Destined Pair'. Niall was the second born to the pair, the Second Heir of the Blue Ridge pack. His great, great grandparents before them started the pack, bringing over what remained of their pack after the hysteria in Europe, England to be exact. Niall's elder sister by two minutes, Aspen, was deemed Heir of the pack. Growing up with a twin sister was not something for the faint of heart. Both he and his sister were trained expediently to control their instincts and fight like they would be challenged the next day for their position. He was trained so if something were to happen to his sister he would also be prepared to take her place. Unfortunately, just after they turned 16 Aspen contracted ICED and died within just a few months, rather than the years it generally takes. Even though he was at risk for contracting the disease as he was directly related to her he refused to leave her side as her growth rate slowed and then stopped in mere months. Due to the slowed cell activity when she caught a cold it quickly turned into pneumonia and killed his twin and The Heir to the Blue Ridge Pack. It is without question that Niall is immune to ICED as his continued exposure would have killed him if he was able to contract the disease. When he was 35 his father Keenan stepped down as Alpha and retired with his wife to enjoy the remainder of their lives, he was 136 then. Just short of ten years after their retirement Niall's parents were killed by Hunters as they strolled through the woods in their upright forms. They were the beginning of a spree Niall was almost helpless to stop. For each hunter the pack tracked down and killed it seemed two more appeared and Niall was faced with a choice; remain and possibly die or eat his pride and flee for the mountains. He chose to flee.
Elize is not super tall as some of the other females in the pack are, she stands a mere five foot six with a lean and slender build. She is nearly all muscle and every bit of her body is cut and defined as if she worked out constantly. She weighs about 150 pounds in her upright form.
Canine Appearance:
Elize stands about 37" at the shoulder and is just a little over 7 feet long from her nose to the tip of her tail. She weighs right about 145 pounds.
Personality: Elize is rather outspoken sometimes but it comes from a well recognized source, her history. She is proud of her sheep and loves them nearly as much as she loves her pack. She can often be found lounging in her wolf form guarding her sheep, not much will get near them with her scent permeating their fleece. She raised both fleece and meat sheep and several varieties. She also processes their wool into usable products and dyes them with natural dyes for clothes to be made from them. She loves her profession and she can get rather excited about it. One simply should not ask Elize about her sheep and get a simple short answer, she will talk your leg off about them. Despite this Elize has little interest in anything else or anyone else the majority of the time. History: Elize was born to Michael and Terra Vanzant, the alpha pair to a small pack in the south of France. Her pack was small only about 45 wolves strong as there is simply too much civilization there for a large pack like can occur in the Americas. As the heir of the pack Elize was treated like a princess though she wasn't exactly fond of it or the training and prestige associated with the title. She was happy with her life and at least okay with being the heir by the time she was 16. However, shortly after her 17th birthday things came crashing horribly down for Elize, she barely escaped with her life. A team of old school lycan hunters discovered them, someone in the pack had been caught and had ratted the rest of the pack out. No one but Elize survived and that was because the pack protected her until their last breaths. They escorted her to a ship with money and some goods and turned to face their attackers to prevent them from stopping the ship. When she reached the East Coast it took her nearly a year to find a pack that would take her. The Blue Ridge pack accepted her and she integrated herself carefully into the mix, adopting her parents old profession of raising sheep. Extra?: N/A
